ELOQUA Bulk API: error at first attempt

Hello.
I am trying to export ELOQUA data into enterprise data wharehouse.
For this purpose I just try to go though tutorial in the
"Oracle Eloqua Bulk API v2.0 Developer Guide"
After I established ID, I try to post first sample from the tutorial:

What is the reason? Where is this DOC-4298 (url is not working)? And why tutorial does not correspond to reality?

Even I got similar error for EmailOpen Activity Export, for me it seems for field related issue, you can probably try following:
Make sure given fields are available in Eloqua (As eloqua also supports custom fields)
Field Name exactly matching as specified in your request definition.
It worked after I detected and removed one of the suspected field.

The below listed limitations are present in the Bulk API Guide:
4.12 Bulk API Limits
4.12.1 General Limits
Number of syncs permitted per 24hr period: 2000 This limit is not currently enforced, but is logged and monitored.
4.12.2 Import and Export Limits
Maximum import size: 32MB. The import will fail if the data source is larger than 32MB. To import a data source larger than 32MB, you can perform multiple POST requests. For extremely large data sources, the import should be synced periodically, i.e. once 250 MB of data has been POSTed.
Maximum export size: 50,000 records per page. The export will fail if you attempt to export more than 50,000 records in a single page at one time. If you need to export more than 50,000 records at a time, you can filter your request by date range and make separate requests for different date ranges.
Maximum fields that can be included in one export: 100 fields. The export will fail if you include more than 100 fields in the export definition.
Maximum sync size: 5,000,000 records. The sync will fail if you attempt to sync more than 5 million records
If planning for specific large exports, you can create filter statements in your export definition.

Error with first attempts at exporting flash

The first thing I tried when with CS3 is exporting a project to flash... I got an error with this first attempt which was a CS2 project so I made an all new project just to see it...same message - here it is.
a DOS window message...
"OMP abort: Initializing libguide.lib, but found libguide40.lib already initialized.
This can cause performance degradation.
Set environment variable KMP_DUPLICATE_LIB_OK=TRUE if you want your program to continue in this case."
and an error message pop up window that reads...
"The instruction at '0x186925ab' referenced memory at '0x00000008'. The memory could not be 'reead'. Click on OK to terminate the program"
Oh I get it! Yeah no I don't. Anybody familiar?

I called adobe customer support, they are clueless. It is now December (4 months after the first post) This is a linking problem, and the developers are at fault. This is a true bug and not a problem with your computer.
The fix is as follows (windows xp)
Add the environment variable KMP_DUPLICATE_LIB_OK=TRUE to windows to fix it. In other words, do what it says.
1. On the Desktop, Right click on My computer and choose properties
2. Go to the Advanced Tab and click on the environment variables button
3. for the top window (user variables) click New.
4. In variable name enter KMP_DUPLICATE_LIB_OK (all uppercase and include the underscores)
5. In the Variable value enter TRUE (all uppercase)
6. Click ok
7. Do the same thing for second window (system variables)
8. You should not need to restart your computer, just restart encore.
If this does not work for you, you either misspelled the variables, or did not capitalize. If it still does not work for you, you may be out of luck.

Getting Data Types of Eloqua - any REST BULK API?

Is there an api which lists all the data types used for the fields of eloqua entities?
From the examples that list the entity metadata I could see that there are data types like "YESNO", "Date" and "string" for entiy's fields.
I will need a list of all data types that eloqua can have for any of its fields.
I am going to be using the BULK API to import and export eloqua elements through java.

There is currently no endpoint for this.
There are four data types available for contacts and accounts - Date, Large Text, Numeric (float), Text. Custom objects can these four data types plus a fifth - Number (integer).

Error occurred when attempting to change modules in LR - just purchased and opened for first time

I just purchased and downloaded the monthly subscription to LR 5 on my new iMac. When I open LR it displays an error message that says "An error occurred when attempting to change modules." I cannot import anything. I'm stuck and very frustrated. I just paid for this monthly service and am stuck for a year. Please help me troubleshoot this problem. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times as well as restarted my iMac.

First attempt at Producer Consumer Architecture: continuous read and dynamically update parameters.

I am currently working with two instruments; an Agilent E3646A and an NI 6212 BNC. My objective is to have the 6212 to be continuously taking measurements according to predefined parameters while the E3646A's parameters can be continuously updated. This simple instrument combination is intended to help me learn the necessarry achitecture; continuous measurement, dynamic output control, and more instruments will be added in the future.
I've previously posted on a similar, but more complicated, setup (http://forums.ni.com/t5/Instrument-Control-GPIB-Serial/Split-second-lag-when-controlling-two-instrum... and was advised to try the Producer Consumer Architecture. I've found relevant literature on the site (http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3023/en/, https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-2431), searched the forums and constructed my own VI. While my first attempt at a Producer Consumer Architecture has resolved some of the issues I was having when I first posted on the subject, however, new issues have arisen with regard to reading and stopping the VI.
I am currently able to run the VI and update the device parameters. Previously, I would get a freeze while the instrument was being updated and could not toggle parameters until it was done. This has been resolved although the read only updates when a parameter has been updated although it is outside of the event structure. Furthermore the Stop button does not work in any context. I've also gotten occasional errors regarding the Deqeue Element but the bulk of the trouble is Error -200279 "Attempted to read samples that are no longer available" at DAQmx Read. I realize that there is a problem in my Producer Loop but haven't been able to figure out how to resolve it.
This is my first attempt at a Producer Consumer Architecture and already I can see that it is a powerful tool. I read as much as I could and looked at the relevant examples but expected to have some issues in the beginning. Would really appreciate any advice so I can take full advantage of the architecture.

Thank you for the response and the suggestions.
I created the Local Variable for the Stop Button and moved the original into its own Event Case. It is now able to stop VI execution although I get Warning -1073676294 which I understand to be the buffer issue. The warning says that this was incurred on VISA Open for the E3646A's Initialize VI which is outside both loops, however, which I don't understand.
I tried increasing buffer size by decreasing the Number of Samples as per suggestions I found on NI forum threads. I've brought it down as low as 1 but the graph still only updates when an Event occurs and I keep getting the same buffer error. You suggested that the problem could be that they are in the same loop; does this mean that the DAQmx read should be outside both Producer and Consumer Loops or moved into the Consumer Loop? I found a couple of links ( http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Producer-Consumer-Design-Pattern-DAQmx-Event-Structure/td-p/2744450 , http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Producer-Consumer-Architecture/td-p/494883 -first response) on dealing with an Event Structure that my own VI is based. The core of my purpose in setting up this Producer Consumer Architecture is so that I could read continuously while the instrument parameters are updated dynamically so it's very important that I understand how this works. I am particularly struggling with how the Event Structure is controlling the While Loop's Execution.

How to get activity data by Bulk APIs v2.0?

Hi all,
I have completed to get Account data by Bulk APIs v2.0. (create an export for Account and then create a Sync for this export)
But when trying to use the integration to work for Activity data, I always get Error status of Sync.
So, could you please show me any suggestions for this issue?
Is there any option different between exports of Account and Activity?

I get error status of Sync for this export. But when I remove the 'Id' and 'RawData' fields, I get success.
I guess that there are some roles of the field settings, e.g. one statement should not appear more than once, and so on.
So, where could I find the roles? Or is there an API could return the valid field list?

How to get data of more than 100 fields by Bulk API V2.0?

Hi all,
I'm trying to get data from Eloqua by Bulk APIs because of big data.
But my Contact has 186 fields (more than the Bulk export limitation 100). I think I need to get all data by 2 exports.
How could I match 2 parts of a row and join them together?
I'm afraid that any edit of data between the 2 syncs for the 2 exports would make the order different.
E.G.:
1. any record is deleted or edited(make it not matching the filter) after getting data of the first part and before getting the second part, then every one behind it would move up in the second part result.
2. data of some fields (included in both parts) are changed between the 2 syncs, then values of the second part are newest but values of the first part are old.
Any suggestions would be expected.

I don't know that you're ever going to get around the fact that things will change in your database while you're syncing the data. You're going to have to have some way to create exceptions on the sync side.
If I was pushing data from Eloqua to another database and had to deal with the problem of matches changing while I was syncing, I'd create a few extra columns in my database to keep track of sync status for that record. Or create another small table to track the data mapping. Here's how I'd do it.
I'd have two extra columns: 'mapped fields 1' and 'mapped fields 2'. They'd both be datetime fields.
I would only do one set of syncs at a time. First, sync every record for the email + 99 fields. Do the entire list. For each batch, set the datetime of the batch in 'mapped fields 1' column.
I'd then sync all records for email + other 86 fields. Do the entire list again. For this batch, set the datetime of each batch in their 'mapped fields 2' column to now().
For any records that had only 'mapped fields 1' filled, but 'mapped fields 2' was empty, I'd re-run the second Eloqua API query using the email as the lookup value. If no results were returned, I'd delete the row. Otherwise, update and set 'mapped fields 2' to now
For any records that had only 'mapped fields 2', I'd re-run the emails against the first Eloqua API query, fill in the missing data, and set 'mapped fields 1' to the current datetime. If the record wasn't returned, delete the row as it's probably not in the search any longer.
Finally, set 'mapped fields 1' and 'mapped fields 2' to empty for all records, since you know the data is in sync. This will let you use the same logic above on your next sync.
Does that make sense? It's not super clean, but it'll get the job done, unless your syncs are taking a ridiculous amount of time and your data changes super often.

Why is my Apple ID being locked out every time I go to use it? I haven't even attempted to log in for about 4 or 5 days, but today on my first attempt to do so, it said my account had been locked for security reasons. This is the third time.

I only sign in to iTunes' store about once a week or so. But during each of my last 3 attempts (on different days, several days apart) on my first attempt to enter my password and hit submit, I am immediately told that my Apple account has been locked for security reasons and it wants to take me to a page to reset my 'forgotten' password. I am using the CORRECT password.
Perhaps someone else is trying to break into my account or is mis-entering theirs but my account should not be getting locked like this. It is very frustrating to have to go through the reset password procedure each and every time I want to go into the store. It seems to me that Apple really doesn't want me to buy any more apps from them as they keep refusing me entry into my own account, each and every time I have tried to use it, for the past few weeks. I am not their best customer, but they aren't giving me much of a welcome invitation to become one, if I'm going to be treated like this.
I just bought my iPhone 4 less than 2 months ago. I paid extra money to upgrade early, just to get this phone because it was so highly recommended by everyone I spoke with in different stores (BestBuy and Verizon). I even bought the 2 year upgrade to my Apple services in case I needed to ever call them, and so far I haven't had to, yet. But I definitely will call them if this isn't straightened out.
It looks like this other user could be tracked and an email could be sent to them from Apple to let them know what they are doing - trying to sign into the wrong account, and are locking somebody else out of their own account because of their error....and to remind them of their correct information or how to get it and to write it down or save it somewhere so they don't keep on doing this.
I have seen literally DOZENS of other people in these discussions with exactly the same issue that I'm having so it is NOT an isolated incident, and it seems to be a growing problem as Apple's sales and user base continues to grow, so this problem is seriously needing to be addressed in some way, and soon, before they start losing new customers because of it. If I was still within my original 14 day return period with this phone, I would definitely be returning it and buying an Android model because of how frustrating this is to me. If my bank was doing this to me, I'd have already switched banks by now if they hadn't fixed it - just to give an example of how I feel about this.

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

Another "An error occurred when attempting to change modules" error

Hello all:
After using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom on Mac OSX trouble free for the past 6 months, I opened up Lightroom today and received the following error: "An error occurred when attempting to change modules." I had not made any changes in between when it worked normally and when the error started to occur. I beleive the last thing I did before this error occurred was to go into the Print Module.
Other information--I keep all my RAW .NEF files on an external Firewire (800) 750 GB drive. This is on Mac OS X 10.5 running Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 1.3 and also with 1.4.1. I'm running an iMac 20" with dual-core 2.2 Ghz Intel processors and 4 GB of RAM. I have around 25k images total.
When I noticed this problem, I was on Lightroom 1.3. I immediately upgraded to 1.4.1, which did not solve the problem. I have also tried many suggestions in the forums including uninstalling the application and removing the .plist file.
I thought I had come up with a solution by creating a new catalog, then importing the former into it. While this seems to work immediately after the import process, as soon as I close it, the problem manifests itself again.
More details that may or (likely) may not help:
- Going to the Develop and Print Modules gives me no problems. However, when I click on Library, Slideshow, or Web, I see the error.
- I upgraded my Mac to the latest patch level after observing this error to no avail.
So it looks like my choices are to create a new file and reimport every single time, or lose all of the work I've done for the past 6 months on thousands of images.
Can anyone please help???? I promise to post the solution when we fix this darn thing so others may benefit. I'd be happy to run through any troubleshooting that y'all would suggest outside of switching to a Canon.

I'd first check for the existence of a file ending in .lock, which should be present when LR is in use, but if it exists when LR is quit, it can cause problems, and should be deleted.

Bulk API V2.0 Data extract support for additional objects (Campaign,Email,Form,FormData,LandingPage)?

Any plans for adding following objects under Bulk API V2.0 for data extraction from Eloqua. Extracting the data using the REST API for these objects makes it complicated.

Please Check if the user PIDIRUSER is locked.

Lightroom 4: An error occurred when attempting to change modules.

I downloaded Lightroom 4 a few days ago and installed it on my MacBook Pro. Everything worked great. I thought it would overwrite Lightroom 3, but it didn't. So Lightroom 3 is still installed, but I haven't opened it since I installed Lightroom 4.
I downloaded Lightroom 4.3 this morning and installed it on the same MacBook Pro. Using my MacBook Pro and a second monitor, I opened Lightroom 4.3 and worked on some photos. Everything worked great.
Then I began watching a slideshow in the Lightroom 4.3 slideshow module on the second monitor with my MacBook Pro in the library module. During the slideshow I clicked on the slideshow module on my MacBook Pro and got this error message:
An error occurred when attempting to change modules.
Now I can’t get into the slideshow module. I just get the error message.
I moved the preferences file to the trash and reopened Lightroom 4 but lost color labels, so I put it back in the preferences folder.

I called Adobe and let them fiddle online with Lightroom on my MacBook Pro. The Adobe tech claims I have a corrupt permissions file. He told me to contact Apple and have them rebuild my permissions file.
When I contacted Apple, the tech said to startup my MackBook Pro with the option key held down until the first screen appears. Then click on: Recovery HD, arrow, Language, Disk Utility, Macintosh HD, Repair Disk Permissions.
I did this three times, but some permissions were not repaired. Another Apple tech then suggested I bring my MackBook Pro to a Macintosh authorized repair shop, and have them repair my permissions file. I asked if I can buy Norton Utilities or a similar program and do it myself. The Apple tech said yes, but an authorized repair person will know which permissions to repair and which ones not to touch.
Unless someone on this forum can tell me how to do this repair myself, I’ll get it repaired next week. And, I’ll post the results as soon as I can.
