Email appointments end up 1 hour late in iPad calendar

I've read other posts about this, but I don't seem able to work around the following:
When I get an Outlook appointment in email, clicking on the attachment enters the attachment into my iPad's calendar one hour later than my Macbook does in iCal with the same email.
I theorized this was DST-related so:
I turned the iPad's "Set Time Automatically" OFF in General/Date & Time, and set time manually.
I turned "Time Zone Support" OFF in both the General/Date & Time and Mail/Contacts/Calendar sections.
I've tried all combinations and rebooting, even. No difference.
The bottom line is that Mac OS X 10.6.5 gets it right; iPad iOS 4.2.1 does not.
This looks like a bug in iOS 4.2.1.
Ideas, anyone?

I had this problem with my iPhone. During the last update it changed my calendar setting to the defualt.
Not sure if its the same with an iPad... but
Go to settings: --then to mail,contacts,Calendar:-- go down to Calendars and change or make sure your time zone support is your location.
I went to 4 appointments an hour late. I was so upset.

Google alendar shows correct time on the iMac desktop, but on iphone and ipad between april and october, they appear 1 hour later. have tried everything I can think of - no luck!

My own ical entries are correct on all 3 devices, but 2 business calendars (google) have this maddening glitch.

A screen dump showing iCloud in Safari and iCal on my Mac, with both iCloud and iCal set to Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEDT) but the event out by an hour on iCloud (and hence iPhone I guess).

All Calendar appointments shifted 1 hour later after DST went into effect.

After this year's (2011) DST went into effect my wife's and my pre's appointments all shifted one hour later. This was for appointments both before and after March 15 and also for appointments input into both a palm profile and also google appointments. In looking at the forums this appears to have been a problem last year but I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this issue this year. Both of our phones have been running 1.4.5 since it was made available.
I online chatted with customer service and also called. They had me try toggling airplane mode, turning airplane mode off then turning network time and network time zone off manually selecting the mountain time zone and then turning everything back on. They also had me do a data reset on the phone. None of these worked. Lastly they had me manually set the time zone to Chihuahua, Mexico which is on mountain standard time. This shifted the appointments back to their original time but the clock now was off by a hour earlier.

Same problem here. How could they not have this fixed by now? Anyone have the golden answer?

Try going to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

FFox 3.6.8. Repeated problem. I close it, then hours later try to relaunch it, and it says it's still running. So I have to End Process in Task Mgr. Also, plug-container keeps running and takes LOTS of memory. Ergo, 3.6.8 is a step backward.

ISync shifts appointments to 1 hour later after synchronization

My computer is under Mac OS X snow leopard. The computer clock is set to "summer time" and the timezone is set to GMT+1. The phone is a Sony Ericsson K550im. The phone clock is also set to summer time and the timezone is set to GMT+1. I synchronize it with iSync via bluetooth. The problem is that the appointments in iCal are shifted to 1 hour later. Which means if the appointment is 1:30 PM in iCal. After synchronization, it is recored in the phone calendar at 2:30 PM. That is a problem because I can not trust in the appointments written in the phone.
I found a temporary solution to avoid this problem by setting the phone to GMT+0, and then by setting the phone clock to the current time. But I would prefer to avoid such hacks.
Has anybody any other solution?

Sony Ericsson phones do not handle the Summer/Winter clocks change very well. Events after the next clocks change will be 1 hour out until that change passes.
If you re-sync after the clocks change now (October), the events should be fine again, until the next clock change in March.
There is no permanent solution to this - it is caused by the buggy Sony Ericsson calendar.

Receiving emails hours later and duplicate

For the past week I am receiving my emails hours later and sometimes they will duplicate themselves. I have upgraded, backed up, completely dumped everything and still nothing has worked. If I receive an email at 2PM it won't show up in my phone until 8PM. Help!

School email is not pushed to my BB until about 6 hours later

I bought a new blackberry 8310 from AT&T last week. However, there is a problem about receiving my school email. BB does not get my school email around 6 hours later. My gmail and yahoo accounts work fine. Another thing is that when I use IE to login or outlook express to access my school email account in any computer, even iphone, I can get email from BB immediately. I tried to wipe the phone, delete and add email account both through curve and my laptop. Nothing works. I checked BIS advance setting of my school IMAP server. It is right.
I called my school tech support and they have no idea. They also told me that there is no one reporting this kind problem to them.
Does anyone have any idea? Thanks!

you have it integrated as IMAP? technically you should get it every 15 minutes. So your mail stays on your school server Inbox, but never come into your device and as soon as you log into Oultook its comes to the device ( all mail that was not pushed to device?). Is your outlook set up as PpOP or IMAP, if its POP i would integrate as POP on BIS as well.

I looked in the My Orders section of my Verizon account this morning (12/22), My SG iPhone 6+ 1228GB is now listed under my Recent Orders and my card was charged yesterday, So I am thinking it will ship Monday morning. This is how the process went for my wife's S 64GB 6+ two weeks ago. This is an interesting turn of events since I was also one to receive the email on Thursday about it being pushed back to 12/12 I'll keep you all posted.

You don't have much choice, do you? You're either going to have to restore the software or take it to the Genius Bar to see about getting that button fixed.

Hello, we seem to have a bug with premiere. When I save some work that I´ve been doing, close premiere and open it up there is nothing saved. But 24 hours later everything is saved. It seem that it takes almost a day for the program to get the saved data.

Hello, I have a problem with premiere. When I save material that I´ve been working on and close Premiere it is gone when I open it up again. uninstalled firefox ....deleted all files still remaining under mozilla firefox directory in program files ... to avoid having to reprogram all my settings, reisntall all addons as well .. I did not remove anything from mozilla firefox that is stored in either appdata or under the windows users directory (if any)
... the as suggested reinstalled the latest version of the firefox browser using the link you provided in the email ..; tested and several issues still remain present and unresolved ....
so please this is urgent or I will have to jump browsers and start using chrome .. because we work 14 hours a day 6 (sometimes 7) days a week, to get ready for the launch of our newest venture and we cannot lose that much days on browser related issues ... so please instead of putting me through week long step process .. of do this .. do that .. can you please actually look into the issue from your end .. Date in External Content Type 1 hour later than MSSQL date

I have an MSSQL table with a date column. I have created an external content type which pulls data from from this MSSQL table. But when the content type is shown in a list in Sharepoint 2010 site, the date is 1 hour later than the date from the MSSQL table?

I'm going to guess that this has to do with server time and sharepoint time. SharePoint time can be found under regional settings. Check to see that it's consistent with the time zone of your other server.

Appointmens created in outlook 2010. One hour late in iphone

I create appointments which starts for ex. at 2 PM in outlook 2010 (connected to icloud.com). I see them correctly in icloud.com, but they have start time 3 PM in my iPhone.
I am arriving one hour late to all my appointments.
Time Zone is Buenos Aires in outlook, icloud.com and the iphone.
No problem if I create the appointment in iPhone. I see it with the correct start time in outlook and icloud.com

I had major problems with my calendar in Outlook and iCloud. I am now not syncing to Outlook. I speculate that most of my many times duplicated entries came from my repeated attempts to get the iCloud app on my PC to sync to Outlook. I may give it a try later but for now I am just watching the forums and trying to learn from other people's issues and answers

Daylight Savings Alarm - One Hour Late

The alarm clock went off exactly one hour late today. We live in Arizona which doesn't even use daylight savings so I am really confused about why it did this. This morning it showed 4:40am then my boyfriend's boss called wondering where the heck he was, and as soon as the call ended it showed 5:40am. I've read the forums and searched the internet for similar problems but they all look to have been last year around this time or around March of 2011 and mostly in Europe.
What happened?

For me it was an hour after. I was upset because my wife's job called at 4:30 and I get up at 4:45 so I just went about my business until I got downstairs for some coffee and found out that I should have already left for work. I was going to be a half hour late to work and since I work by the hour, there goes half hour pay gone. I rebooted the phone and the time corrected itself but does anyone know whether this will occur again or if this is a one-time occurrence.
I have been waiting for iPhone 5 because I am eligible for upgrade but I here that iPhone 4 also had this issue so not sure which way I will be going.
