Hi All,
I have configured ESS for absence approval?
I have given email id in 105 IT.
Now i want to know how mail will be sent if the absence is approved or rejected.
Can any one tell me the process how this mails will flow.
And also let me know if mail id has to be assigned at any other place?

Purpose
You can use this program to send e-mail notifications to employees who submit or approve leave requests, or who process them in the event of errors.
The Requester receives an e-mail when one or more of his or her requests has been approved or rejected.
The Approver receives an e-mail when requests submitted by his or her employees have to be approved or (for types of leave not requiring approval) have been posted without approval.
The HR Administrator receives an e-mail when he or she has to process requests with errors manually.
Integration
The program uses the SAP system's document distribution functions.
Prerequisites
For the responsible parties to be able to be notified, the fields for the requester and the next agent have to be filled in the database of requests.
The only way of determining the HR administrator responsible is to use the Get Table with E-Mail Lists method of the PT_GEN_REQ Business Add-In.
Features
The program provides the following functions:
The standard system contains various texts for the e-mails to the above-mentioned employees. If you want to write your own texts, you can create them in the Documentation Maintenance transaction (SE61). Choose the document class Dialog Text.
You can also list the corresponding documents in the e-mail.
You can run the program for all requests that have changed since the last time the program was run. SAP recommends this setting. You can also enter a date of your choice. In this case, the program takes account of all requests that have been submitted since this date. Your employees may, however, receive duplicate e-mails if this setting is active.
You can specify the volume as of which the program transfers data to the SAPconnect component (BC-SRV-COM) to send the e-mails.
You can choose whether you want the program to issue a detailed log. It always outputs a short log.

There is a scenario that the data in the report changes infrequently, so the users want to be informed and get the most updated data once the data changes. By default, report server always run the report with the most recent data. Is there a way that we
can subscribe the report, so that we can send an email to users when the data in the report has been changed?
Solution
To achieve this requirement, we can create a subscription for the report, then create a trigger in the table which including the report data. When this table has data insert, update or delete, it will be triggered and execute the subscription to send email
to users.
In the Report Manager, create a subscription for the report and make it only execute one time.
When we create a subscription, a corresponding SQL Agent job will be created. Then we can use the query below to find out the job based on ScheduleId:

Please note that the command ‘exec [ReportServer].dbo.AddEvent @EventType='TimedSubscription', @EventData='b64ce7ec-d598-45cd-bbc2-ea202e0c129d'’ is coming from the job properties. We can go to SQL Server Agent Jobs, right-click the corresponding job to open
the Steps, copy the step command, and then paste it to the query.
Then when the user table has data insert, update or delete, the trigger will be triggered and execute the subscription to send email to users.

Emailing external user using a workflow in Sharepoint 2013

I am currently trying to create a list where the user can upload a document, input an email address (external) and an expiration date. I then have a workflow that will send an email on the expiration date. The problem I am getting is that Sharepoint 2013
doesn't like emailling externally.
22/01/14: I have since found that this isn't a problem with exchange, as Sharepoint is trimming the addresses out of the original workflow. Does anyone know how to stop this.

How to send a confirmation email to users in dw cs6?

I am very new to dreamweaver cs6.
I would like to ask how do i send a confirmation email to users when they have finished inputting their details in the registration page. (is it using php scripting?)
In layman terms, the users have keyed in all their information for registration, how do I send a confirmation email to the emails they keyed? Thank you!

Sending email to user using the notification template in OIM 11g

Hi all
I have created a Notification Template using web console in OIM 11g.
Iam able to access the contents from notification template in my java code.
But iam not able to find the correct api's to send email to user using the notification template
(like tcEmailNotificationUtil using this class we can connect to email template created in design console and creating IT resourse we can send email to user using the method sendEmail).

But i have the same doubt here.
"The Notification Event is defined through a XML file that must be loaded into MDS database." - in which path and in what name it should be.
Because under /metadata/iam-features-notification, i couldnt see any event Xml present. I thought atleast we could see the existing OOB notification template's event xml files.
Please let me know if you are aware.

There are encrypted fields in the organization database, but the data encryption feature isn't activated. Contact your Microsoft Dynamics CRM system administrator to activate data encryption. To activate, go to Systems Settings > Data Management > Data

I tried to activate Data Encryption from Data Management(as mentioned in this error), then getting below error:

Currently i am looking for best practices regarding differentiation of bulk email and user email. I know i could be done by setting up different interfaces with their own private listeners, however, this way applications that send bulk email have to be reconfigured.
The question is: are there other best practice config examples how to differentiate bulk email from user email? Of course, this concernes outgoing email traffic.

Alert emails from Users when BIA blade gone down

Hi all,
We have BIA version 50 in production in some scenarios during peak reporting days one of the blades overloaded and going down .
We have alert emails configured to whom it should send the alerts , some times we are getting emails from users like 30 to 40 emails when BIA blade restarted not sure why we are getting emails from users.. other than from TREXADMIN
Is there any configuration or parameter we can check for this...

Hi Subhash,
if the BIA isn´t available and a user executes a query which runs against the BIA, you will get an email directly from this user, because you have configured some receivers in table RSDDTREXEMAIL. Related to this there also will be some entries in table RSDDTREXHPAFAIL.

BT email address / user ID not recognised

I have had the same BT email address for in excess of 10 years now, but this week when accessing through Outlook (as I do daily) I was asked for my password which never happens. I entered my password but it rejects that. I have tried resetting my password but when being asked to confirm my email address, I receive an error message saying "Sorry, we do not recognise that email address/user ID." The same thing has happened to my husband. We have both had lengthy telephone calls with BT regarding this and are told that our email addresses seem to have somehow been deleted?! Neither of our email addresses are recognised and appear to no longer exist, nor does it appear they can be reinstated. Having had the same address for so many years, I am loathe to have to change email addresses, and am currently awaiting some important emails. Any suggestions? Can I get my email address back? How has this happened?

Have you tried access your emails using a browser via webmail ? Sometimes the email address/password combination fails for a fleeting time, sometimes lasting a few days, usually only affecting access from mail client programs such as Outlook.
If you can access webmail, then it's a problem that has been happening for a number of months now.
A quick way to the webmail access is point your browser ay http://mail.yahoo.com and enter your full email address as the Yahoo! ID.

If the iOS app I create emails the user, can the user upgrade from the link in the email or is that against the guidelines?

I want to create an iOS app and for a variety of reasons (subscription, multiplatform, etc) I can't use the Apple app-store payment sytem.
However, if the user creates and account with my iOS app and we then email the user at a later date. Can they upgrade from the link in the email, or is that against Apple policy as well?

i am faceing a file download problem too..........
i am protecting jboss application,,,,using apache, and jk....
all work fine except for open a file(word,excel,txt,etc).
Disable the policy domain, everything goes just fine. microsoft file dialogue opens,you can open the file directly, or save it to your computer........
Enable the policy domain,, you can only save the file to your computer(file content is also correct),,,but cannot open it directly.it says the file path could not be found......but if the word/excel application is already running, you can open it fine...
PS:not a computer issue,,,every computers faceing the same problem
