Employee Interaction Centre (EIC, ERP) Agent Inbox, Substitution

Hi
We are currently implementing EIC, ERP and are on EHP4.  We have a query regarding substitutions for the agents inbox.  We note the substitution field is blank so no one can be selected to be a substitute.  However, when a processor is set up and assigned to follow up the processor becomes available in the substitute box and can be selected.
So my query is are only processors allowed to be substitutes?

Hello Julie,
Here is how SAP describes the EIC Inbox substitution functionality:
EIC agents that are absent (for example, on vacation) for a certain period of time can specify a substitute for that time period.
You can enter the required time period for substitution and the desired substitute in the substitution settings. The effects of this are as follows:
The specified substitute is entered as the person responsible and as the processor (if this is the same person) for all activities for which you are responsible.
All other task types (e-mail (SAPconnect), web requests, follow-ups, work items) are processed as follows in the specified substitution period: All new inbox items that the system forwards to your inbox during your period of absence are also delivered to the inbox of the specified substitute during this period. As soon as the specified substitute begins to process one of these inbox items, it is removed from your own inbox.

  • Employee interaction centre - authorizations

    Hi,
    I have a problem with authorizations of employee interaction centre transaction code HREIC.
    Background of the issue: User executes the T-code HREIC in SAP. A new browser is open. User enters his username and password . The employee interaction centre is open. Here, the user clicks on activity for the category HR. The next screen displays all the queries.
    Issue: In the query screen , the user must be able to close or reopen a query using a drop down but there is no dropdown option at all. The user is able to see these dropdown option if SAP_ALL access is given to them. Please provide suggestion. Thanks very much in advance.

    Thnks very much for your help and I apologize for the delay in my reply. If a user is given SAP_ALL access and if I run ST01 on the user , I will not be able to get any data because there are no auth failures for the user. I hope I am correct. In my case the user is assigned 2 roles. lets say role 1 and role 2. Role 1 has the object S_SCMG_TXT . I ran the Tcode HREIC and did a trace on the user and the trace results failed at the object S_SCMG_TXT. ( RC = 4 ). The trace does not tell which role was checked. However, the object in question is already assigned to the user's UMR. What could be the issue in this case?. Thanks in advance for your help

  • Issue in Interaction Centre (Emails forwarding issue)

    I am facing one issue in Employee Interaction Centre(EIC) where the requirement is the User is not able to forward the E mails (Cases) to one group Kumba.It is showing error on the top of the screen mentioned in the attachment.Please find the attachment of the issue. Previuosly it was working for this group, but unfortunately it has stopped working for this group now.

    Kindly notethat we are unable to assign e-mails to ES T1 Kumba on SAP CRM System P00
    Client 423.
    The erroris only with the ES T1 Kumba assignment.

    Dear Colleagues,
    In Customer Interaction Center (CIC), search is possible based on Customer(Activity Partner).
    But in general Scenario, in Mobile Sales, Sales Representative will assigne some activity to Person Responsible (CIC agent). Now CIC agent will go to his desktop and he should have facility to search based on his employee number. Here I am talking about the Employee based search. I am been told that we need to have Employee interaction center for this.
    Any other suggestions on this will really be appreciated.
    My main concern is to have Employee based search in CIC.

  • CRM IC Webclient - Massive Performance Problems Searching in Agent Inbox

    Hi Forum,
    can somebody help me. We have massive Search Performance problems in Interaction Center Webclient in Agent Inbox. When agents searching, for example for open emails, the time to get a result takes approx. 2-3 minutes.
    Thats absolute inadmissible and endangered the running business.
    The queury reading the eMails from the workitem tables is very very slow.
    Could somebody help me with ideas to solve this big performance problem. Have somebody the same problems?

    Another aspect you could check is the following:
    Analysis performed didn't show anything strange nor any high consumers
    of the response time. The processing time occurs, since IC-Web on CRM 5
    is a bit demanding for CPU power.
    The only thing that could improve the performance a bit is the
    <b>buffering of org structure</b>, which is currently switched off for
    SALES and SERVICE scenarios as per table T77OMATTSC.
    The report <b>HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE</b> is running regulary
    however no scenario is being placed in the buffer to speed up
    org structure read. Please check this and provide feedback.

  • Process Completion Email flooding Agent Inbox

    Hi Experts,
    We got a scenario when a user registration process is completed in E-commerce an email will be sent to an agent group. But the agents inbox is flooded with a completion email repetitively for every 2-3 seconds and we checked the following:
    For the user registration process, the program that executes this type of email (Registration Complete) is debugged but since based on the custom table for user registration there is no user that is pending for notification, thus upon debug, the processing did not even proceed to the email sending logic but exits the program. 
    I also checked the batch job that includes the triggering of the said program.  This batch job runs with every 15 minutes interval.
    I then checked the email log via Transaction SOST, and check the email transmission going out of SAP starting from March 8 to 9. But was only able to see 1 Registration complete email being sent to the user. I wasn't able to find any emails that sends to the group.
    Experts, does any one  have any other ideas on what might be triggering these duplicate email as it seems based on my initial checking it doesn't seem like the batch job and the program was the one that triggers the sending of these said duplicate emails... 
    is there any other configuration (erms or action) that may have been sending these emails to the group that we can check on.?

  • Agent Inbox - "Process & Record" button missing in 5.0

    Looking at the SAP documentation we have thru the SAP OKP for CRM 5.0.  The agent inbox shows an icon "Process and Record" which is used after selecting the inbound email to identify the BP and process the email.
    Our 5.0 inbox (std framework) shows
    - reserve
    - reset reservation
    - complete
    - display
    - interact
    - edit
    - link
    - next item
    - multi select
    Can anyone help?  I have tons of ERMS info I have gone thru and have scoured thru the agent inbox configuration.

  • Any pointers on how ERP Sales order are searched in Agent Inbox

    I have a requirement where i need to trigger an activity/workflow in CRM for orders that are created through ERP Salesorder functionality. In the workflow list, we need to give the order description and provide an hyperlink to the order number. on selection of order number, it should display the ERP sales order. To achive this in workflow, i am trying to understand the as-is standard functionality which is available in Agent Inbox search on ERP sales order.This search is getting the ERP orders and on selecting the order it is opening the ERO sales order page. I tried debugging the method GET_MAINCATAEGORY available in the component iccmp_inbox and in the view Inboxsearch.But couldnt really able to crack the logic how it is retrieving the ERP sales order from inbox search. Any pointers on how this is achieved will be of great help.

    Hi Udaya,
    Calling a Customer Specific R/3 Transaciton was quite easy in CRM 4.0 / 5.0 in the PC-UI Framework using Object Links. You can do that all by customizing and creating a custom method for a BOR Object in Transaction SWO1.
    I think I've used CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to update the Document Flow. The subsequent activities where created by BAPI_ACTIVITYCRM_CREATEMULTI. I've wrapped all that standard functions in a RFC enabled function module.
    It would be possible to provide also a link in the E-Mail to the Manager but the client is using a Citrix environment to provide access to the Portal. But Outlook runs locally. So we decided to use the standard Portal iView to display the Alerts. When you fill the Alert Container with the elements OBJKEY_GUID, OBJKEY_BOR_OBJECT_TYPE, OBJKEY_CRM_OBJECT_TYPE, OBJKEY_METHOD and OBJKEY_LOGICAL_SYSTEM using the Function Module SWC_ELEMENT_SET that provides a direct link to the specific document too.
