Employment discount program

I was notified in October that I needed to update my information for my employment. I sent everything requested in to them but after 3 months the discount was still not applied. I contacted Verizon in January and was told that I did what I was supposed to and the error was on their end. I was told to resend my verification information, so I did. I was also refunded the discount from October to January. I received my bill yesterday and the discount is again missing. I contacted Verizon this morning and was told they would send my info back over for review and to please hold while they got ahold of someone about the discount on my new bill. I was on hold for over 20 minutes! I hung up and called again. I know by this time I am very frustrated with this whole process but when I talked to the manager on the floor, he was not very helpful at all. Just said that I would have to wait 7-10 business days and see if it went through again. I mean, I did everything I was told to do twice and you mean to tell me there isn't anything that can be done and nobody can tell me why. Seriously considering transferring my phone to another service because this is just not right. I know Verizon doesn't need my money every month but to treat me like it is my fault for the past 6 months is wrong.

Jonathan,
I sent everything that was required of me last October when I got the notice that verification was required. I also resent what was asked of me in January when I inquired about the discount not being applied to my account.
This information was received by the Employment Discount department. There is record of everything I sent being received there at Verizon. Nobody can tell me why this is not being applied to  my account.
The floor manager was not helpful in answering any of my questions yesterday. He was actually rude to me at some points ignoring the frustration I had with the whole process at the time.
The error in the process is at the Verizon level. I don’t know which department is responsible for this program but someone messed up not once but twice on my account and I was made to feel like
I was in the wrong. I am serious about switching carriers after the way I was treated. I still do NOT have the discount because nobody will do anything to expedite the process or give me information to resolve this problem.

  • SAPF181 discount program not posting material to FI line item

We are having an issue with the SAPF181 discount program. Currently when we run it it makes the adjustments for the fields that the documentation states it should, but we need the material in the Coding Block section of the line items to be filled in, which it is not currently doing or does not seem to be an option anywhere on SAPF181. The reason we need this is that although the material, or product, is on the Profitability Segment, it is not on the FI line item and because of this it does not flow through to PA, which is where our issue lies.  Does anybody out there know how we could get this material filled in for the FI line item when running the SAPF181 program?

    Hi,
BKPF-TCODE = 'F-02' is not the right field: you should use SY-TCODE, as BKPF-TCODE is not the exact transaction that the user enters. Also, as general rule, if your subsitution does not work, you can set a trace and run the transaction: you'll see exactly which condition is incorrect.

  • Don't believe the employment discount

I just renewed a contract with Verizon and was informed by 'Ahley' via online chat  my employment discount would be 25% and would have to be activated after I received my device.  I have it in writing!  I chose Verizon over AT&T based on this information but when I went to employment verification and entered the information, I was informed it was only 15%!?!?  When I called customer service, I was told "oops, that information was wrong.  Our max discount is only 22% and yours should only be 15%."  What a joke- telling customers one thing to get them to sign up and THEN changing the information is a deplorable business practice.  BEWARE

If you have an work email address that indicates your job with an qualifying organization (for instance, a school district or public agency) the discount is applied immediately when you submit and confirm your email address via http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/support/employee-discount-email  If the specific email address is not recognized as being eligible for a discount, then you  need to submit documentation and it does take one or two billing cycles to be applied.  My son's discount was evident on his second bill; he does not have a work email and had to submit a current pay stub, and the discount was applied from his second bill onward.

  • Legal Counsel Regarding Employee Discount Program

Has anyone sought legal counseling regarding the validation of the Employee Discount Program?  When I set up my account with Verizon and presented proper document, 3 years later I was informed that my discount was never applied.  I called & they opened up an EMEU research request for me.  Now, Verizon keeps on going back and forth that the plan I am on never qualified for the discount &/or that they can't assist me because the discount is now being applied (within up to 2-3 billing cycles) now that I have provided documentation again.  I have been working for the same company since I set up my Verizon Account.  On top of that, I tried contacting Customer Support twice today and having them disconnect on me both times!  Finally, I was able to get a hold of a Representative to give me corporate address and phone number to see if they could assist me.  Hopefully, before I reach out to legal counsel....

Verizon Wireless's Customer Agreement two sections excerpted.
"HOW AND WHEN CAN I DISPUTE CHARGES?
If you're a Postpay customer, you can dispute your bill within 180 days of receiving it, but unless otherwise provided by law or unless you're disputing charges because your wireless device was lost or stolen, you still have to pay all charges until the dispute is resolved. If you're a Prepaid customer, you can dispute a charge within 180 days of the date the disputed charge was incurred. YOU MAY CALL US TO DISPUTE CHARGES ON YOUR BILL OR ANY SERVICE(S) FOR WHICH YOU WERE BILLED, BUT IF YOU WISH TO PRESERVE YOUR RIGHT TO BRING AN ARBITRATION OR SMALL CLAIMS CASE REGARDING SUCH DISPUTE, YOU MUST WRITE TO US AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ADDRESS ON YOUR BILL, OR SEND US A COMPLETED NOTICE OF DISPUTE FORM (AVAILABLE AT VERIZONWIRELESS.COM), WITHIN THE 180–DAY PERIOD MENTIONED ABOVE. IF YOU DO NOT NOTIFY US IN WRITING OF SUCH DISPUTE WITHIN THE 180-DAY PERIOD, YOU WILL HAVE WAIVED YOUR RIGHT TO DISPUTE THE BILL OR SUCH SERVICE(S) AND TO BRING AN ARBITRATION OR SMALL CLAIMS CASE REGARDING ANY SUCH DISPUTE."
"HOW DO I RESOLVE DISPUTES WITH VERIZON WIRELESS?
WE HOPE TO MAKE YOU A HAPPY CUSTOMER, BUT IF THERE'S AN ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED, THIS SECTION OUTLINES WHAT'S EXPECTED OF BOTH OF US.
YOU AND VERIZON WIRELESS BOTH AGREE TO RESOLVE DISPUTES ONLY BY ARBITRATION OR IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT BY THIS AGREEMENT YOU ARE GIVING UP THE RIGHT TO BRING A CLAIM IN COURT OR IN FRONT OF A JURY. WHILE THE PROCEDURES MAY BE DIFFERENT, AN ARBITRATOR CAN AWARD YOU THE SAME DAMAGES AND RELIEF, AND MUST HONOR THE SAME TERMS IN THIS AGREEMENT, AS A COURT WOULD. IF THE LAW ALLOWS FOR AN AWARD OF ATTORNEYS' FEES, AN ARBITRATOR CAN AWARD THEM TOO. WE ALSO BOTH AGREE THAT:
    (1) THE FEDERAL ARBITRATION ACT APPLIES TO THIS AGREEMENT. EXCEPT FOR SMALL CLAIMS COURT CASES THAT QUALIFY, ANY DISPUTE THAT IN ANY WAY RELATES TO OR ARISES OUT OF THIS AGREEMENT OR FROM ANY EQUIPMENT, PRODUCTS AND SERVICES YOU RECEIVE FROM US (OR FROM ANY ADVERTISING FOR ANY SUCH PRODUCTS OR SERVICES), INCLUDING ANY DISPUTES YOU HAVE WITH OUR EMPLOYEES OR AGENTS, WILL BE RESOLVED BY ONE OR MORE NEUTRAL ARBITRATORS BEFORE THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION ("AAA") OR BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ("BBB"). YOU CAN ALSO BRING ANY ISSUES YOU MAY HAVE TO THE ATTENTION OF FEDERAL, STATE, OR LOCAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, AND IF THE LAW ALLOWS, THEY CAN SEEK RELIEF AGAINST US FOR YOU.
    (2) UNLESS YOU AND VERIZON WIRELESS AGREE OTHERWISE, THE ARBITRATION WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE COUNTY OF YOUR BILLING ADDRESS. FOR CLAIMS OVER $10,000, THE AAA'S WIRELESS INDUSTRY ARBITRATION ("WIA") RULES WILL APPLY. IN SUCH CASES, THE LOSER CAN ASK FOR A PANEL OF THREE NEW ARBITRATORS TO REVIEW THE AWARD. FOR CLAIMS OF $10,000 OR LESS, THE PARTY BRINGING THE CLAIM CAN CHOOSE EITHER THE AAA'S RULES FOR CONSUMER DISPUTES OR THE BBB'S RULES FOR BINDING ARBITRATION OR, ALTERNATIVELY, CAN BRING AN INDIVIDUAL ACTION IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT. YOU CAN GET PROCEDURES, RULES AND FEE INFORMATION FROM THE AAA (WWW.ADR.ORG), THE BBB (WWW.BBB.ORG) OR FROM US. FOR CLAIMS OF $10,000 OR LESS, YOU CAN CHOOSE WHETHER YOU'D LIKE THE ARBITRATION CARRIED OUT BASED ONLY ON DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED TO THE ARBITRATOR, OR BY A HEARING IN PERSON OR BY PHONE.
    (3) THIS AGREEMENT DOESN'T ALLOW CLASS OR COLLECTIVE ARBITRATIONS EVEN IF THE AAA OR BBB PROCEDURES OR RULES WOULD. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THIS AGREEMENT, THE ARBITRATOR MAY AWARD MONEY OR INJUNCTIVE RELIEF ONLY IN FAVOR OF THE INDIVIDUAL PARTY SEEKING RELIEF AND ONLY TO THE EXTENT NECESSARY TO PROVIDE RELIEF WARRANTED BY THAT PARTY'S INDIVIDUAL CLAIM. NO CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE OR PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL THEORIES OF LIABILITY OR PRAYERS FOR RELIEF MAY BE MAINTAINED IN ANY ARBITRATION HELD UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. ANY QUESTION REGARDING THE ENFORCEABILITY OR INTERPRETATION OF THIS PARAGRAPH SHALL BE DECIDED BY A COURT AND NOT THE ARBITRATOR.
    (4) IF EITHER OF US INTENDS TO SEEK ARBITRATION UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, THE PARTY SEEKING ARBITRATION MUST FIRST NOTIFY THE OTHER PARTY OF THE DISPUTE IN WRITING AT LEAST 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF INITIATING THE ARBITRATION. NOTICE TO VERIZON WIRELESS SHOULD BE SENT TO VERIZON WIRELESS DISPUTE RESOLUTION MANAGER, ONE VERIZON WAY, VC52N061, BASKING RIDGE, NJ 07920. THE NOTICE MUST DESCRIBE THE NATURE OF THE CLAIM AND THE RELIEF BEING SOUGHT. IF WE ARE UNABLE TO RESOLVE OUR DISPUTE WITHIN 30 DAYS, EITHER PARTY MAY THEN PROCEED TO FILE A CLAIM FOR ARBITRATION. WE'LL PAY ANY FILING FEE THAT THE AAA OR BBB CHARGES YOU FOR ARBITRATION OF THE DISPUTE. IF YOU PROVIDE US WITH SIGNED WRITTEN NOTICE THAT YOU CANNOT PAY THE FILING FEE, VERIZON WIRELESS WILL PAY THE FEE DIRECTLY TO THE AAA OR BBB. IF THAT ARBITRATION PROCEEDS, WE'LL ALSO PAY ANY ADMINISTRATIVE AND ARBITRATOR FEES CHARGED LATER, AS WELL AS FOR ANY APPEAL TO A PANEL OF THREE NEW ARBITRATORS (IF THE ARBITRATION AWARD IS APPEALABLE UNDER THIS AGREEMENT).
    (5) WE ALSO OFFER CUSTOMERS THE OPTION OF PARTICIPATING IN A FREE INTERNAL MEDIATION PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM IS ENTIRELY VOLUNTARY AND DOES NOT AFFECT EITHER PARTY'S RIGHTS IN ANY OTHER ASPECT OF THESE DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEDURES. IN OUR VOLUNTARY MEDIATION PROGRAM, WE WILL ASSIGN AN EMPLOYEE WHO'S NOT DIRECTLY INVOLVED IN THE DISPUTE TO HELP BOTH SIDES REACH AN AGREEMENT. THAT PERSON HAS ALL THE RIGHTS AND PROTECTIONS OF A MEDIATOR AND THE PROCESS HAS ALL OF THE PROTECTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH MEDIATION. FOR EXAMPLE, NOTHING SAID IN THE MEDIATION CAN BE USED LATER IN AN ARBITRATION OR LAWSUIT. IF YOU'D LIKE TO KNOW MORE, PLEASE CONTACT US AT VERIZONWIRELESS.COM OR THROUGH CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF YOU'D LIKE TO START THE MEDIATION PROCESS, PLEASE GO TO VERIZONWIRELESS.COM OR CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR A NOTICE OF DISPUTE FORM TO FILL OUT, AND MAIL, FAX OR EMAIL IT TO US ACCORDING TO THE DIRECTIONS ON THE FORM.
    (6) WE MAY, BUT ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO, MAKE A WRITTEN SETTLEMENT OFFER ANYTIME BEFORE ARBITRATION BEGINS. THE AMOUNT OR TERMS OF ANY SETTLEMENT OFFER MAY NOT BE DISCLOSED TO THE ARBITRATOR UNTIL AFTER THE ARBITRATOR ISSUES AN AWARD ON THE CLAIM. IF YOU DON'T ACCEPT THE OFFER AND THE ARBITRATOR AWARDS YOU AN AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT'S MORE THAN OUR OFFER BUT LESS THAN $5,000, OR IF WE DON'T MAKE YOU AN OFFER, AND THE ARBITRATOR AWARDS YOU ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY BUT LESS THAN $5,000, THEN WE AGREE TO PAY YOU $5,000 INSTEAD OF THE AMOUNT AWARDED. IN THAT CASE WE ALSO AGREE TO PAY ANY REASONABLE ATTORNEYS' FEES AND EXPENSES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE LAW REQUIRES IT FOR YOUR CASE. IF THE ARBITRATOR AWARDS YOU MORE THAN $5,000, THEN WE WILL PAY YOU THAT AMOUNT.
    (7) AN ARBITRATION AWARD AND ANY JUDGMENT CONFIRMING IT APPLY ONLY TO THAT SPECIFIC CASE; IT CAN'T BE USED IN ANY OTHER CASE EXCEPT TO ENFORCE THE AWARD ITSELF.
    (8) IF FOR SOME REASON THE PROHIBITION ON CLASS ARBITRATIONS SET FORTH IN SUBSECTION (3) CANNOT BE ENFORCED, THEN THE AGREEMENT TO ARBITRATE WILL NOT APPLY.
    (9) IF FOR ANY REASON A CLAIM PROCEEDS IN COURT RATHER THAN THROUGH ARBITRATION, YOU AND VERIZON WIRELESS AGREE THAT THERE WILL NOT BE A JURY TRIAL. YOU AND VERIZON WIRELESS UNCONDITIONALLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY IN ANY ACTION, PROCEEDING OR COUNTERCLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT IN ANY WAY. IN THE EVENT OF LITIGATION, THIS PARAGRAPH MAY BE FILED TO SHOW A WRITTEN CONSENT TO A TRIAL BY THE COURT."

  • MISLEAD re: upgrade/discount program

We have been verizon customers for about 10 years, both home service & wireless. Recently (April) we applied for a discount program via the company my husband works for. Great deal right? We thought so until today when I went to upgrade my husband phone (after the 2 yr contact was up in May) I discovered that when we applied for the discount they ended our old account & started an new account WITH A NEW CONTRACT which voided his upgrade!!  Customer Service told me there is nothing she could do BUT if I go to the verizon store they MAY be able to honor the upgrade & waive the activation fee but it's up to THEM...! WHAT??? Either the company as a whole can help me or not...!  When a customer is not given accurate information it becomes impossible for us to make decisions & think poorly of a business & customer service of it as well.
Can an a representative for verizon please honor this upgrade? We will be happy to stay another 2 years on a new contract.

        Punky71,
I would be pretty surprised to find out that I couldn't use an upgrade after completing the two year contract too! This is something I definitely want to look into for you, and I really thank you for your detailed story.
If I had to take a guess as to what happened it's that you used to be the official "Account Owner." Employer discounts are great, but they do require that the discount is for the Account Owner's employer. Therefore, to receive your husband's discount we had to do an Assumption of Liability http://vz.to/1ixuDWx and make him the Account Owner before your family could receive the discount.
There are 2 different scenarios that an Assumption of Liability (AOL) could affect the contract on each of the lines.
    1. If the line has a current contract a new contract term could begin when the AOL is completed
    2. If the line does not have a contract term left on it the service would continue on a month to month basis for that line even after the AOL is processed
Did you know that the date your contract is set to end and the date that you are able to upgrade can be two separate dates? That's what can happen with an AOL because the upgrade date should not change; however, the contract may be affected if the line had an active contract on it. Very interesting, right?
This is what I want to investigate into for you. I would love to track down the old account and see when the original upgrade date for your husband's line was. If I find it needs adjusting I'll be happy to make sure that's done so he can get a new phone.
I've requested to follow you. Please approve, follow me back, and then send a Direct Message using these steps http://vz.to/1cOOY6O
I can't wait to hear from you!

  • Reselling Mac purchased under EDU Discount program

I was reading this thread (now locked) with interest. In particular, this statement caught my eye:
The educational discount program is instituted by Apple so that students (and the people who educate them) get a break on the pricing for equipment needed in the modern educational system.
If you get the computer he buys with that discount and you are not a student its fraud.
I would tend to agree with that. But here's my problem. I am an eligible education user and bought an eMac three years ago. I bought it under the edu discount program and received the discount.
Now I am thinking about replacing it with a new iMac. Problem is, what do I do with the eMac when I want to get rid of it? Do I have to ensure that I resell it only to somebody else who is an eligible edu user, and if I don't then I am committing a fraud? That does seem to be the case according to the agreement and with the advice given in the thread I linked above.
Same thing goes for Leopard and iLife 08, which I bought under the edu discount program. When I buy a new Mac, those will be included so I won't need my retail versions anymore. How to I resell them? Do I have to ensure that I sell them only to a qualified edu user?
    Help?

    Hi JDee,
Once the purchase was made, in good faith, for one's own personal, educational and/or research use, it would seem all bets are off.
Allow me to give a real life example which, I suspect, can be quite common.
My eldest son who is currently at University has a 17" MacBook Pro. He originally bought, with money that I gave him, a 15" MacBook Pro via the Educational discount scheme. Via a series of "fortunate" accidents I received an additional 17" MacBook Pro so he passed the 15 inch one to my youngest and uses the 17" flavour. Now, I am fortunate to be in a financial position to be able to afford to buy him whatever he needs for his University; or at least provide him with the funds so that he can buy them himself.
One of his close friends at Uni is not in that fortunate financial position and neither are his parents. He would also ideally like to have a MacBook Pro but his budget would only stretch to a MacBook. No problem. Recently though, via the unfortunate death of his grandfather, he inherited a nice sum of money. As soon as he is eligible again for an Educational discount he will sell his MacBook, which is only currently two months old, and buy a MacBook Pro.
Another example could be if a student or teacher purchase an Apple computer and then financial circumstances change requiring them to sell it in order to pay bills.
The rules, in my opinion, are there to prevent dodgy "businessmen" from buying via the educational discount scheme and then reselling at full retail price. However, if a student/teacher are in a position to buy the latest and greatest Apple computer once every year, provided they meet the educational discount criteria, there's nothing to stop them from buying, selling and then re-purchasing again in the next academic year.

  • Employment discount.. I think not!

Where can I find the written policy where it says I cannot have my employment discount if I have a discount from a high plan in more everything? I'm sick of the misinformation from customer care reps 5 said I could use both discounts 2 said I couldn't . Weeks later and hours on the phone I'm being told out of contract I can't use the discount.... Where's the policy on my end that I can read that, the employment verification department said the denied my discount but cannot send me the policy where I'm in violation. This is the hardest time I've Had with a cell phone company.

lewisr13 is correct, the Edge discount of $10/$25 is available even with employer discounts. The month-to-month discount of equivalent value is also available even with employer discounts.
I know exactly what policies pertain to my situation.
If you are attempting to add an Edge discount and are not currently on an Edge plan, you will not be able to do so.
If you want to add a month-to-month discount to a smartphone line access fee to an eligible line, you can do so simply by logging into your MyVerizon, navigating to "Change Features" and selecting that feature to add. Of course, Verizon can change its policies at any time and you could lose your month-to-month discount at any time. Additionally, once you get the discount, it does not necessarily go on for ever. Your eligibility for the discount can change. If you were to purchase a subsidized phone, your discount would fall off immediately.
The month-to-month discount is not advertised, nor will many Verizon reps either acknowledge or are aware of it.

  • Eligible Employment Discount

I just recently retired from the Texas Department of Transportation and am now a member of the Employee Retirement System of Texas.  Can I still get the discount that i was receiving as an employee of Texas Department of Transportation?

Depends on the contract that TX Dept of Transportation has with Verizon; what I'm seeing on this forum is that most contracts do not extend to retirees, unfortunately.  You'll be able to check when Verizon asks you to confirm your employment (e-mails/texts are sent out periodically).

  • Employment discount pending for SEVEN WEEKS !

I sent in two employment paystubs since August 12 and still am waiting for a yes or no answer. I emailed the "helpline" twice and was promised a reply within three business days over a week ago.    Verizon must be part of the government shutdown and have help as brilliant as our people in DC.
    UNACCEPTABLE "customer service"  !

yes - was talking w/ cs today about another issue and asked about this employer discount issue. She transferred me to a recorded message telling me to go online for more information to submit my paystub.   It's just a joke with verizon anymore.
The online chat people are COMPLETELY USELESS -- all they do is tell me to call the same number you referred me to and emails are 100% ignored. "you will receive a reply in 3 -5 days". ..and 2 weeks later --NOTHING.
and the verizon employees in the stores are only there for the sale -- if they don't ring up a sale --they don't care about you at all !
This all started when I walked in to a verizon store in neligh, nebraska to ask how I could apply for the employer discount -- reply was "" I can't help you with that"   .  what she should of said was the truth " I won't be making a dime from helping you with 2 minutes of my time so get out of my store "

  • Employee Discount Program - Can you use 2 discounts?

I am currently working for two companies that have employee discounts through verizon.  Am I able to apply both of them to my account since I am an employee at both companies?

    No.

  • Employment discount disappointment

I work for the State of NC and the discount went down and it did not apply to the data plan.  Only the access plan.  Very disappointing!

The state of NC must not have as many phones on the account as they used to.

  • Employment discount

I sent in copies of my W-2 over a week ago and you have cancelled my 15% discount. I work for the City of Cleveland, Ohio on the Fire Department. Is there still a discount applicable here?

  • Discount with Loyalty Program

I was going to leave Verizon after they did not stand by a HTC phone I purchased from them. I kept telling them it did not work.  Repeated trips to the local store and tech support calls, even purchasing an new battery.  Still did not work.  At the end of the contract, I contacted them to ask how to transfer my number to another carrier.  I was told, and then told about a "Loyalty" program they had.  Unlimited talk and text, 2 gig data.  I asked three different Verizon employees if my employment discount still remained and was told it would. So the $60 dollar fee was reduced by 20 per cent.  Good deal I thought.  Now three months later, no discount is allowed, if I quit the contact there is a $330 termination fee and I absorb the $200 I paid for the phone.  This all started in early July.  Feeling very abused as a "Loyalty"  customer.  Have called customer service and basically been told that I have lied about the employees spiel.  I even have their names and times that we spoke.  Any ideas?

We want you to have the best plans to meet your needs Bitter19551! Corporate discounts are a great way to save on your monthly costs! You should still be able to qualify if you are still with the same employer. If you had a promotional rate plan discount, it likely ended when the agreement expired.

  • Can I get an employee discount on a family member's line?

My employer participates in the Verizon's employee discount program.  The line/plan I would like to get an discount is my husband's line which is a different cell # from my # (provided via work).  Can his line be eligible for this discount?  When I tried to register his # for this discount, it said 'the provided information doesn't match the account profile'.

So you have a phone provided by your work which you do not pay for?
Your husband has a Verizon account with 1 line which I suppose is in HIS name? You would like to apply YOUR employer discount to HIS line.
First of all, you would have to take over his account by performing an AOL(assumption of liability) in order to have your husband's account in your name. He is not the employee, so if the account is in his name it would not be eligible for YOUR employee discount. Once you put the account in YOUR name, the line would become eligible.
The answer, though, is yes you can put an employee discount on a family member's line as long as the "account" is in your name.
