Empty .csv file (after conversion to LWAPP)

has anyone encountered the above-mentioned? Flashing the AP from autonomous to lightweight generates the .csv file but it's empty.

I have seen this happen. usually it happens when I convert an AP, while connected to the network. It seems the conversion tool, will add the AP to the auth-list on the controller, but only seems to store a local .csv if it is not connected to the network.

• CSV File Content Conversion

Hello, I have a litte problem with the File-Adapter and the File Content Conversion.
We get csv-files in which are 2 structures
the first row contents headerinformations like invoicenumber and sumfields.
The following rows contents item-informations.
I want to convert the file in a xml-format like this:
<invoice>
<invoiceheader>
.... (information from the first row)
</invoiceheader>
<itemlist>

... (information from 2. row )

... (information from 3. row )

... (information from last row )

</itemlist>
</invoice>
The csv-file looks like this:
In the csv-file i have no keys which determine the kind of row. I only know that the first row contains the headerinformation and the following rows (2. until last) contains the item informations.
Any idea ?
Kindly regards
Detlef Breitwieser

Hello anybody !
I want the conversion is done by the file-adapter -
and i have no keyvalues - that's the problem.
I only know - the 1. row contains the headerstructure and the following rows contains the itemstructure.
I configured the Fileadapter with this paramters (for an example)
xml.recordsetStructure=HeaderSum,1,Item,60000
xml.recordsetName=AvisRechnung
xml.recordsetsPerMessage=*
xml.documentName=Avis
xml.HeaderSum.fieldSeparator=;
xml.HeaderSum.structureTitle=head
xml.HeaderSum.fieldNames=head1,head2,head3,head4,head5,head6,head7,head8
xml.Item.fieldSeparator=;
xml.Item.structureTitle=item
xml.Item.fieldNames=item1,item2,item3,item4,item5,item6,item7,item8,item9
The Csv-File is this:
79;1616243;0;20050706;200401;RWE_DEBIT_AVIS_200401.txt;200401;978;

#"Pivoted Column" = Table.Pivot(#"Reordered Columns2", List.Distinct(#"Reordered Columns2"[Type]), "Type", "Value")
in
#"Pivoted Column"
and I only get 326 rows. Because it is a pivot without aggregation I get errors but even if I remove errors I still don't get the complete result set.
Any ideas?

It runs down to row 18,200 or so. I chose a smaller file to make things simpler.
After the Table.Pivot as written above this is what my view shows:
So I received only one row. Is there a way to make it all rows?
(For background: the CSV file is from a PICK database that has multi-variate fields where all but one of the fields has multiple values correlated with multiple values in other fields.)

• Cisco 1200 empty .csv file

I have flashed the cisco 1200 ap using the upgrade utility. Everything checks out ok but the .csv file is empty.Did i miss something here?
Details
Model:AIR-AP1232AG-S-K9
Autonomous IOS:12.3(7)JA2
Lightweight IOS:
c1200-rcvk9w8-tar.123-11JX1

The MIC is a Machine Installed Certificate. The AP has the certificate already installed, there is no need to
generate a self-signed certificate. That is why the .csv file is empty. You will not have to put any certificate information on WLC/WCS for this AP.

• Problem when opening CSV files after update

Hello
I have updated a Mac to OS 10.6
Before the update, when clicking on a CSV file (bank statements) the file would open in Microsoft Excel and display all the fields in their own columns.
Afer the update, all the fields are contained in one column. It looks like excel is not seeing the commas ? Previewing the CSV file in numbers works correctly though.
How can I resolve this?
Secondly, the CSV file has numbers (deposits) listed as +0000000023.99 for example. Before the update, that transaction would have showed as 23.99 in its column in excel - now it shows it as +0000000023.99.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

This looks like an Excel issue. You didn't say which Excel version you're using. Try posting your question on Microsoft's Mactopia Office forum, but include the version and update number in your inquiry. I can tell you though that in the current Excel 2008 version, I open up csv files all the time without any problem at all.

• Empty JAR File : After deployment of PAR file.

Hi friends,
I Migrated the EP Database to different machine and made neccessary changes in the portal to make it point to the new database.
Then i tried to change the custom deployed applications to make it point to new database. so Got the somecomp.par.bak from /<Portal_installation_path>/cluster/server/services/
servlet_jsp/work/jspTemp/irj/root/WEB-INF/deployment/pcd. Imported it into Eclipse, changed connection properties code, built it and coverted to par file. Deployed that file into portal using java developement tab. Even after uploading a new par, application is still pointing to old database.
While deploying, it wrote some log into error_log file as follows:

Hi Nilz,
> I got confused here
Don't!
In NWDS, if you import a PAR, no JARs which are inside the PAR get imported. That's all (it's enough ).
> The one using which i compiled my code
> like htmlb.jar etc
NO! These are (hopefully) not inside your own PAR but only referenced!!!
> When i imported a PAR file, the source code was there.
Then even with NWDS you shouldn't have any problems as the classes / JARs are compiled/created at PAR creation.
> i am using Eclipse with SP2 plugins
Alltogether in your situation you are not confronted with an error but with a warnung. Obviously you don't have any code in the src.core section.
Hope it helps

• Can I edit connection files after conversion?

SharePoint 2013 SP1, InfoPath 2013.
I created a data connection to a SQL database and then convert it to a connection file, saving it in a data connection library. It worked great.
Now I need to edit that connection to include a new field but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do a simple edit. Is there an easy way to do this that I am missing?
I have tried:
Modifying the data connection but there is no option to check additional fields once converted to .udcx.
Creating a new connection and naming it the same as the old, but this is denied.
Creating a new connection with a new name and overwriting the .udcx file, but I still need to re-link in InfoPath to the new connection.
Deleting the old connection and creating a new one with the same name. It still needs to re-link.
Modifying the .udcx file directly, but this does not update in InfoPath so I still can't select the data.

I realized that I was able to refresh the data connection in InfoPath by clicking on Modify > Next > Next > Finish after manually editing the .udcx file.

• 802.11a Radios down after conversion to LWAPP

Code version is 5.2.193. I converted some 1130 series access points to LWAPP. All of the newer access points worked fine, but the A radios in the older access points are not coming up. I assume there was a hardware change someplace along the line. If I try to manually disable the interface I get the following error:
Failed to Set Admin Status of AP
Error in Setting Antenna TypeError in Setting Antenna Diversity
The b/g radios work fine. Has anyone seen this?

Thanks for the rating.
As a matter of fact, I have a number of "-A" (1240) that our supplier sold us by mistake and we suppose to use "-N".

From your question it seems like you want to write a WDJ application which writes a CSV file after connecting to a database and everytime you do so, updates the file with the new record from the DB.
For this, I wouldnt think to write an application in WebDynpro since its an over kill, unless you want to host this appln in a portal environment and want it accessible for a set of people.
Ideally you could use the JDK api to open a connection to the database and then then file api to write to files. You would need to use an identifier somewhere to know the last record read and written to the file.
Incase you put in the type of db you want to connect to, i could be of more help
Thanks,

• Uploading CSV file problem

Hello everyone.
I have a minor problem in uploading CSV file to HTMLDB.
I don't know the exact reason, but HTMLDB threw
"ORA-20001: Unable to create collection: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error" whenever I tried to upload my csv file. after a few repetition of deleting potential problem-causing columns and trying again, I found out the following:
when numeric value and character value are stored together in single column, the upload fails. For example, we have a column which stores the employee number. The employee number is just a sequential numeric value, however temporary employees have 'T' in front of their employee number, so it begins something like T0032 and so on.
So, then, I tried to enclose all the employee numbers which start with numeric value with " character, but that would just simply take too long to do it manually, and excel does not seem to support enclosing the values with " when it's saving the spreadsheet with CSV format.
So, I'm kind of stuck right now.
Can anyone give me a good way to deal it?
THANK YOU!

Thanks for updating my forum setting, my name is now clearly visible :-)
anyway.. I went back and tested couple of things...
It now appears that the problem is not caused from values inside the column... instead..
I believe the size of csv file with certain character set is the issue here...
This is a rough estimate, but file size larger than about 31.7 ~ 9kb caused errors IF THEY CONTAINED OTHER CHARACTER SET THAN ENGLISH.
here are informations about my setting:
1. Oracle database: initially 9.2.0.1 -> patched upgrade to 9.2.0.4
2. HTMLDB: 1.4.0.00.21c (downloaded from otn)
3. db character set : UTF-8
4. OS: windows 2000 (with up-todate service pack and
security patches and etc..)
5. system: toshiba tecra 2100 with 1GB ram and 40GB hdd
6. operation system locale: korean, south korea
I tried uploading many other files in both english and korean, which is my national language. The english csv file worked beautifully, without any file size limitations. However, when I tried to upload a file with
KOREAN characters in it, it failed.
Intrigued by this behavior I started to test the file upload with various excel files, and found out that..
1. english csv files caused absolutely no errors.
2. engilsh file with single korean character immediately
threw the error, if the size exceeded 31.8kb (or I
think the size is 32kb)
3. I tested korean file mixed english file, caused
the same error if the size exceeded 32kb.
the distribution of korean characters inside the
csv file did not matter, just don't go beyond 32kb!
Please reproduce this behavior (but I presume that some efforts will be required in order to reproduce this error perfectly, since it is not easy to obtain foreign OS in US regions.. is it?)
anyway, thanks for your quick reply, and
I hope this problem gets fixed, because in this manner,
I have to split my file into 32kb chunks!

• Use .CSV files to UPDATE

Hi,
I have a requirement to process .CSV files and use the info to UPDATE an existing table. One line from the file matches a row in the existing table by an unique key. There is no need to keep the data from the .CSV files after.
I was planning to use a temporary table with an INSERT trigger that will perform the UPDATE, with ON COMMIT DELETE ROWS, and have sqlldr load the data in this temporary table.
But I found out that sqlldr cannot load into temporary tables (SQL*Loader-280).
What would be other options? The .CSV files are retrieved periodically (every 15 min), have all the same structure, their number can vary, and their filename is unique.
Thank you in advance.

SQL*Loader-280 "table %s is a temporary table"
*Cause: The sqlldr utility does not load temporary tables. Note that if sqlldr did allow loading of temporary tables, the data would
disappear after the load completed.
*Action: Load the data into a non-temporary table. Can't you load data into non-temporary table and drop after update?

• Calling excel to open csv file created by export within same process

Hello All,
I'm very new to apex and never done any javascript. My company is trying to convert this old forms programmer. What I'm trying to do for a client is to open excel with a specific template I've created that will format the data from a csv file that is exported from a report region in apex. The problem is they want it to be a single button operation. So when I press the link/ or button to export the csv file, after it is saved, then open excel with the template and let the internal excel macro format the data and chart. Any suggestions/solutions/direction will be greatly appreciated.
