Ending a recurrent secure zone subscription

Hello,
We are selling subscription to a secure zone. Is there any way for the subscriber to end the subscription on the front-end? I've been looking over the modules and could not find anything like that. If that is not possible, will just un-subscribing the client from the secure zone end the recurrent payments?

Unfortunately there's no front-end option. 
The steps for cancelling membership can be found below.
Cancelling memberships
If a subscriber decides to cancel their membership, the workflow is as follows:
The suscriber will contact you via the contact form on your site (or via a phone call, if you've provided your number online).
Note: If desired, you can create and publish a Secure Zone cancellation form on your site for this specific purpose.
After receiving notification, choose Customers > Customers to access their record, as described in the previous section. Click the Recurrence/Direct Debit link to see the Order Details page, as shown in the screenshot above.
Use the Recurring Status menu to change the setting from Enabled to Disabled.
Next, follow the steps provided in the next section to manually unsubscribe the customer from Secure Zone.

    Strangely enough, I just found that while I can export a report with contacts' usernames and I can export a report with contacts and their secure zones, I can't export a report with both secure zones and each contact's username.
    Can you help me work out how I could do it?
    Even a thought on how to combine the two csv files with a script?

    Hi Sidney,
    I have discovered further problems now that I have added the login and password fields to the webform.
    1. The webform did not update with the new fields when I went in to customise it. So I had to reset the form to original setup and lose all of the extra coding done on the form including:
    a. javascript to set an expiry date for access to the secure zone
    b. coding to the amount field so that it could not be changed
    c. Zip to postcode and Cell to mobile phone labels
    d. other fields marked as hidden
    Below are screen shots to show that I added the password and login fields but they were not in the webform when I went in to edit it.
    Not good.
    Also, the javascript checking on the required fields for the forms are not working.
    And finally, when testing the form and adding a username and password, the person was subscribed to the secure zone, but the welcome secure zone subscription email giving them the user name and password still did not trigger.
    and
    they were subscribed with a different username, not the one on the form.
    So bottom line, webforms seem to be a bit broken at the moment. Is that the case? I have given up on doing the secure zone subscription from the forms now, and will tell the client it can't be done at the moment.
    I still need to get the javascript checking working on the forms though, and remember submitting a question about that a while ago. Looks like it is still a problem.

  • Setting up subscription secured zone

    I am trying to setup a subscription based secured zone. I followed the directions in the knowledge base but i think the directions were outdated cause it is adding an Invoice field to the credit card form. When we try to test it we get an error:
    Credit Card Payment Failed
    There was an error processing your credit card. Please correct this and try again.
    Invoice Number Not Found: . Please go back and correct this.
    Shouldnt the invoice number populate the field automatically?
    How can the user know what the invoice is to input it?

  • How multiple secure zones act now?

    I give trial membership on the site, it gives 30 days of access, when it finishes the users subscription to that zone ends and he gets asigned to regular secure zone access again (this tick in customer subscribtions tab disapears automatically). At least that's how it was before if I remember right. So has something been changed to secure zone handling and administration or was it always this way?
    The biggest problem I now face is that when trial zone expires customer can't login at all, even though his other regular secure zone (which expires: never) is asigned to him. I use smart login form with redirect page that decides to what secure zone customer should be forwarded so I thought maybe this expired zone gets selected but it seems thats not the case. Even if I login user directly to his regular secure zone which has no expiration I get "secure zone expired" page. If I manually uncheck this expired zone subscription, customer can login again.

    yes i've put together the test page and the tag renders both zones expired and not, please see screen shot:
    Even if i press "Talent" which expires never I get this Zone Expiry system page.
    With login form the redirect is done as Kiyuco suggests: submit button links to redirect page where ajax checks zones user is subscribed to and redirects to the first one in the list.

  • Include Secure Zone name in Order Workflow Notification

    Hi All,
    Hoping that someone can help me with a solution for the following:
    We have a site that has a number of secure zones, each secure zone has an individual product catalogue assigned to it.
    The problem we have is that when someone does an order from within the secure zone, the Workflow notification does not contain any information about which secure zone the order came from.
    So I'm wondering if it is possible to write some code that will query what secure zone you are logged in to and have this as a hidden field on the Order page, to be included in the Workflow Notification.
    Does anyone know if this is possible?

    You can parse the user's securezone subscriptions out of {module_subscriptions,true,true,,true}, or you could look for an attribute unique to each catalogue, like <div data-catalogue="{{tag_somethingUnique">...catalogue template code...</div> plus jQuery('[data-catalogue]').data('catalogue');

  • Help with secure zone/ forum registration

    Im having difficulty grasping the secure zone concept and ive spent days watching videos and reading online so I hope someone can help push me forward.
    I built the site with Muse, and im using dreamweaver and the BC site (older view) to help edit.  I have a creative cloud subscription.
    First I want to create a registration page to collect custom information on users, for example:  The site is about traveling, so I want users to be able to select which countries they have visited, upload a photo, and control their own profile.
    I want this user information to control the forums, their own blog, and their own photo galleries.
    I'm not afarid of doing the work it till take to get this done but I dont understand if I need to use webforms,  or web app.  The forums module has a default registration page that is very basic, can I use that for a template and just expand it? 
    Also I attempted to make webforms and use them, however when I publish my site live again in muse, it seems to delete any forms I made in BC, do I need finish using muse and stay away from it now that the basics are complete?

    You can not do that in BC exactly. It is not designed for that sort of site.
    You can not use the CRM to build that sort of thing.
    You will need to build a blog with webb apps and allow them to submit their own and edit their own web app items. For the forums you have a login for the forums but you can not have their own indevidual forum.
    Photo gallery - not using the BC module and will again have to be a web app and limited.
    To pull that into a public profile you again can not use the CRM as showing their CRM information is ONLY when THEY are logged in. You would have to replicate their data in another web app. And pulling them together will be hard unless you know ajax etc and still complicated.
    You probably better off using a different platform to achieve what your after. Coming from Muse and what that outputs as well your going to have a hard time of it. You can not use Muse to publish if you want more stuff like this because it will just do an all in one publish. If you do stick with BC you have to now Ditch Muse if you watn to do any of this right and more.

  • How do you set the expiration date of a secure zone?

    I am trying to set up a form where a user can sign up for access to a secure zone for 1 year. How do I set the expiration date of the secure zone for them to expire one year after they sign up for it?
    I have tried using a hidden field named "ZoneExpiry" (I have tried "ExpiryDate" as well) in the form and set its value attribute manually in the HTML (with the format 13-May-13), and the expiration date always ends up being 31-Dec-9999.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have done this.
    Have a hidden input field on form  <input name="ZoneExpiry" id="ExpiryDate" />
    Then have a function as follows:

    On the page http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/25/85de55a94c4b5fa7a2d74e8ed201b0/content.htm
    it says that the settings (security zone, permission) in the portalapp.xml defines who can access this application.
    Then it says that PRT checks the users iView-permission and then optionally the security zone permission, depending on the setting of the parameter -Dcom.sap.nw.sz=true in the J2EE.
    Question:
    When this parameter is disabled (default), are the security zones just not checked when accessing an application throug an iView or also when they are accessed through direct URL?

    I just checked it against our SP12 installation, with the same component, which has the same settings as yours:

    This at least does not hold for our portal installation. Each access with the given URL, called by an authenticated user which does not have one of the admin roles set within the security zones, ends with:
    Access denied (Object: com.sap.portal.system/security/sap.com/NetWeaver.Portal/high_safety/com.sap.portal.runtime.system.console/components/ClusterAdminConsole)
    The application permissions do not play a role here, these are for the iView wizards, which applications are to be chosen.
    So, double check the user you are testing with; maybe the version is buggy?

    Under components/ClusterAdminConsole the same settings are to be found? (I expect it, but just to be sure.)

  • Security Zone error.

    I have a federated portal, i.e. producer - consumer relationship (7.0 sp18) and when I federate a BEx qry I'm getting a Security Zone error with the following message:
    Caused by: com.sapportals.portal.pcd.gl.PermissionControlException: Access denied (Object(s): com.sap.portal.system/security/sap.com/NetWeaver.Portal/high_safety/com.sap.portal.runtime.system.console/components/default)
    I did the following:
    Go to System Administration -> Support.
    Under the Area column select Portal Runtime. Scroll down to the JNDI Browsers section, and select Security Zones Browser. Drill down to sap.com/NetWeaver.Portal/high_safety/com.sap.portal.runtime.system.console/components/default.
    I'm seeing "No service is bound to this secutiy zone"
    I understand I need to go to System Administration  ->  Permissions,
    Browse to Security Zones:
    sap.com/NetWeaver.Portal/high_safety/com.sap.portal.runtime.system.console/components/default
    and right-click  -> Edit Permissions.
    All I have to do is add end-user-read permissions is that correct?
    I currenlty see just content_admin, super_admin, and system_admin all with End USer checked. Do I have to add my "Everyone" role as an assigned permission and ck End User?
    Then when I go back to the Support Desk I see a service bound?

    From what I am seeing I now understand that in my federated env I am generating a URL that exceeds 2083 characters.  We are using IE Version 7.0.5730.13CO
    I also understand that I am not having this issue when using Firefox.
    These urls are getting generated when the users save a BEx qry to the BEx Portfolio or their My Portfolio.
    The reason I was getting the security errors was the url's were getting chopped off and the users did not have access to those components.
    Anyone implement a method to fix this issue?

  • Is it possible to code a store in a secure zone so it acts like a POS system?

    We have a small theatre and want to use Bc for our online store to sell tickets and we want to hear if it is possible to code a secure zone to the extent that we can use it as a POS system? We don't want to pay for more than one system and it will be a hassle to integrate a POS with Bc using an API.
    If we can supply the theatre with guaranteed 24/7 internet, we should be able to use the system all the time and by coding the shop in a secure zone we don't have to log into the back end of the site to do sales. Everything should flow nicely in theory, right?

  • Extracting secure zone expiration date to be used for webapps

    Hi all,
    Is it possible to extract the secure zone expiration date and use it to set the expiration date for webapps? I see that the expiration date of secure zones can be extracted through the email section, and not other places. globals.user doesn't output the expiration date either.
    All that I need is the number of days so that i can automatically put the day into the Set Webapp to Expire in __ days.
    Unless the webapps automatically deletes itself when users are booted out of secure zones?

    When I use {{subscriptions.items.expiryDate}}, it doesnt output any value. I suspect that this is due to the [] encasing the items sub-information. How can I extract this information for use?

    Now log-out of the admin and re-login and check if that helps.

  • Switching between https secure zone to http domain

    I'd like to know what the best way to link back to a non secure zone http domain from a secure https (worldsecuresystems.com) domain. I've seen a few articles on this subject and tried a few different approaches, but nothing that I've read/tried seems to work completely. I've tried using the full path by adding {module_defaulturl} to links e.g. <a href="{module_defaulturl}/contact.html">Contact</a> and I've tried adding a content holder e.g.<a href='/{module_contentholder name="_Template - Default Domain Host"}/about.html'>About</a>, where the host/path is added to the content holder. I've also tried using the full path hardcoded. All three approaches work for navigating between/from https to http domains, so far so good.
    However, whereas this full path approach works to enable linking within the website, the links no longer work within the Visual Editor (ICE). It appears the ICE will not work with full path links. Does anyone know of a way around this, or know of a better approach to setting up links between https and http domains? I'm thinking of using javascript to add the full path to links when the page loads whilst on a secure domain so that the script doesn't run in the ICE. But is there a better/simpler way?

    Thanks for the suggestion although getting to the solution requires a subscription to their service. But your suggestion helps because they mention achieving what I want with jquery, so I assume that's the accepted way to go about it. I've already implemented a solution with jquery, I was just trying to see if there was another 'more native' BC way. Cheers

    I want to be able to, on a user's account page, list the secure zones that they have access to as well as link them to each of these secure zone landing pages. What is the easiest way to accomplish this?

    If I simply input {module_subscriptions} it lists the user's secure zones in an unordered list along with the price of that subscription and the frequency of the billing cycle. I only want the list to include the names of the secure zones as links. How can I do this?
