Entering Registration Key
Hello,
I wanted to download the trail verision of CS5 from the Adobe site. However, when I clicked on "Try" the only option available was the CS5 Extended version. Well I fell in love with CS5 but did not want 3D features so I purcahsed the CS5 standard version from Amazon.com today. When my disk arrives should I reinstall CS5 since it's not the "Extended" version or can I simply enter the registration key from the disk? Thanks for the help.
The trial installer for the Photoshop Extended and standard Photoshop are exactly the same. The serial number controls whether the extended features are enabled - so the serial number you get from Amazon will work to make the trial into the standard version of Photoshop.

I have followed the clear instructions to enter the purchased key code for QuickTime Pro 7. There are two options offered:-
1. Go into Preferences and select the QuickTime Player icon and enter the code that way.
2. Open QuickTime Player and open up ‘registration’ and enter the key code.
For whatever reason I have neither option available to me although QuickTime player is on my system and I use it regularly. It is version 10 build (118). I have run software updates and there is no upgrade available. I have downloaded the latest version and tried to load it but this fails because the system finds a version already available. I have attempted to uninstall but whilst it moves it from the Application folder, it remains on the Mac as it is part of the system files. So I cannot use the Pro version. The iMac is a 27” Intel about a year old and has all the software updates available to me installed.
Any offers for suggestions or past experiences that can help me overcome this conundrum? Both answers were spot on. I made the mistake yesterday of downloading the version for Leopard in my haste. I also thought the issue was related to having to uninstall the current version X.
So the moral of the episode is check the version you have and make certain you download the correct version for your system. All works now.

How to enter QuickTime Pro registration key in Windows 7?
I purchased a registration key for QuickTime Pro, but I'm not sure where to enter it on my Windows 7 machine. I have found these directions:
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/pro/unlock-win7.html
But that's for another version of Windows (XP? Vista?). Windows 7 Control Panel doesn't look like that, and I'm not sure where I can access the QuickTime 7 Control Panel to enter the registration key. Any advice? You're welcome.
Wish Apple would update their website to include these instructions for Windows 7 users...
It is possible to report issues like that directly to Apple. (The challenge with that, though, is first finding the feedback forms ...)
In this instance, probably the best ones to use might be the Support feedback form:
http://www.apple.com/support/feedback/
... or the overall Apple.com feedback form:

HT3820 Entering a QuickTime Pro registration key in Mac OS X 10.8.2
How to find
Entering a QuickTime Pro registration key in Mac OS X for 10.8.2 to register Quicktime. I've BOUGHT it and can't register? It doesn't show a Quicktime in system preference? This is for APPLE:
This is a peer-to-peer user forum. If you wish to ensure your message gets to Apple, please use the appropriate formal "Product Feedback" form provided on the Apple web site: http://www.apple.com/feedback/
Apple are very lazy in giving instructions and it came with OS X v10.6 and OS X v10.5, nothing for OS X v10.7 or OS X v10.8? I've OS X v10.8.2...I'm baffled. I don't need a mind game. I just want a job done.
The instructions found at URL http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3678 are up-to-date since they refer to QT 7 v7.6.6 which is compatible with all versions of the Mac OS X v10.6.3 and later—including Lion and Mountain Lion. -
I have entered my quicktime pro 7 registration key and it won't unlock features
Hi All,
I'm running Mac OSX 10.8.5, and have recently downloaded Quicktime 7 Pro. I've purchased the registration key for $30, and when I entered it into my Quicktime Pro registration, it accepted the code, but all of my Quicktime Pro features are still locked. Any input?I'm running Mac OSX 10.8.5, and have recently downloaded Quicktime 7 Pro. I've purchased the registration key for $30, and when I entered it into my Quicktime Pro registration, it accepted the code, but all of my Quicktime Pro features are still locked. Any input?
Did you have a file loaded when you attempted to access a "Pro" feature? (I.e., the QT 7 Pro menus are context adaptive and must be able to "see" the file you want to edit before it can evaluate which features can be used with the file in question.) -
Help with entering product key
I have just down loaded Photoshop album starter edition, registered it, have a product key and I am the administrator for my computer. However, when I enter the key, the "Unlock" button remains grayed out and will not let me put in the code. How can I get into the program. Thanks for assistance.
Barb, Thanks for the timely reply. You're right I do have v. 3. Unfortunately, the solution suggested did not work. The product key is asked for on the registration page. The unlock button appears dimmed. You can enter the code but that does not change the unlock button (whether or not you press enter). Attempting to delete invisible characters has no effect - although this would more likely get some sort of a "wrong code" error after pressing unlock, which can not be done!? More ideas?

Registration key issue.
Allright...I bought a Quicktime Pro key, and enter EXACTLY how it says in the registration fields...click apply, and Quicktime Pro 7 pops up. My ISSUE is, after I hit OK and the window closes...the next time I watch a movie, all the Pro features are "greyed" out. How do I get the key to stick?
Dell 8300 Windows Vista
Other OS
Other OSSorry, but your first post wasn't clear as to exactly what was the problem. I don't know if this will help, but here are some thoughts:
Make sure you're entering in both the user name and key code exactly as in the email Apple sent you. Any error in either, including leaving off a salutation (for instance, if the email says "Mr. John Smith") will cause the registration not to take.
Confirm as well that it's a key for QuickTime 7 (keys for earlier versions of QuickTime will not work) and that it's for Windows (a key for the Mac version won't work either).
If that still doesn't identify the problem, locate the QuickTime preference files, delete them, and enter your key again and see if it will then stick.
Hope this helps. -
I have built the installer for my Javafx application using the documentation. In the installer, I have also specified license where the user needs to confirm. And it works well.
What I need to do now is that: There is a registration key for the application, which the user needs to put manually. How do I do that? Only if he successfully enters the key, should he be able to install it.I solved it by using Inno.
Build the installer with verbose="true" in build.xml. For example on my computer, it looks like:
<fx:deploy width="${javafx.run.width}" height="${javafx.run.height}"
nativeBundles="all" verbose="true"
outdir="${basedir}/${dist.dir}" outfile="Pina">
On running it, it will generate some temporary files. On my computer, it can be seen at: C:\Users\Jatin\AppData\Local\Temp\build6069397957260201875.fxbundler\windows
Copy the Pina.iss file and place it in "MyProject/package/windows" folder. Make "package" and "windows" folder if they dont exist.

I bought the upgrade to QT Pro 7 on internet the 13th january, and I had immediately back a mail with my registration key. Unfortunately, when I try to fill the registration fields, with my name and my registration key, the message "Registration key Not Validate" appeares.
What can I do to make my Pro version work?
Guido
Pentium IV Windows XP ProThe data entered in the Control Panel (Registration) must match exactly.
It is very easy to enter a zero where the letter o is required.
Use copy/paste.
The name must match, too. You can't use "Jim" if you bought using "James". -
Registration key for Ascendo datavault
I purchased datavault when I got a new phone. I can't seem to get a registration key to register. How do I get the registration key?
Hi and Welcome to the Forums!!
If you purchased via AppWorld, then to re-install your apps, please see this KB:
KB17625 How to install or transfer previously purchased applications from BlackBerry App World to a BlackBerry smartphone
For more registration key information, see this KB:
KB18646How to locate and enter the license key for an application purchased through BlackBerry App World
In some cases, it has been discovered that updates (from AppWorld obtained apps) require additional steps in order to install the update. If the update will not install, please attempt this:
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications > highlight the app > > Delete
AppWorld > MyWorld > Login > highlight the app (if it shows at all, in any state) > > Delete
Use either your PC (via Mass Storage Mode) or your BB (via Media > > Explore) and find any references (folders, files) to the app. Delete whatever you find. Search both your Device Memory as well as your Media Card.
Use the above AppWorld user guide link to re-install the app -- a new registration/activation key should then be provided
On the other hand, if you did not purchase via AppWorld, then you need to contact whatever place it was that you did purchase from.
Cheers!

Pro menu not showing, but valid registration key shows
I have been using QuickTime Pro on this computer for over a year, but I haven't used it in a couple of months.
As of yesterday and today, only Player menu items show. No Pro tools show. My first thought was that my registration key must've been somehow wiped or made invalid, but that isn't the case. The option to "Buy QuickTime Pro..." is grayed out, and the correct key is listed in the Preferences.
This morning, I downloaded the QuickTime update, and the problem remains.
Anyone know why this can happen and how to fix it?The solution may be in one and or all of the following:

AUDIGY MB DELL XPS1710 REGISTRATION KEY EXPI
I purchased a Dell XPS70 a few weeks ago and have had to reimage the thing 4 times thanks to Dell Support, now my activation code for the AUDIGY MB software is giving me an error that the registration has expired. I called Dell support to see what was going on and was advised that the maximum re-installs I can perform is 3 and then the Creative software software will no longer allow you to register. I was advised to contact Creative support to get them to re-issue a new Registration key. I tried all afternoon to contact support and finally got through to a tech and he then puts me on hold and tells me I need to speak to another department, He then tried transferring my call and hangs up on me, I called back and spoke to Support again after waiting for another 30 minutes, he then puts me on hold to investigate (5 minutes)? then says they have no record of my last call. By this time I was getting a little annoyed and decide to end the call advising I'd log a job online for my issue. I get home to log a job online only to find there is no option for this product to log it online. Hence my post, can someone from Creative please help me?, I'm going crazy.......:smileysurprised:?Message Edited by degrosha on 09-07-200705:4 AM

isn't there desciption section where you can write in the details? what I usually do is enter any random text into those model/serial option and then write in full details what I want/problem encounter. -
Registration keys for Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5.2
How do I get the registration keys for Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5.2?
There are no registration keys. Photoshop CC and Lightroom are subsciption based.
You sign up for the subscription and provide a credit card number for billiing. Adobe will send you the download and install instructions.
Simply start Photoshop CC and under Help > Sign in... Enter your Adobe ID and password. That will change Photoshop from Trial to activated. -
