We will be implimenting eCommerce using ECC 6.0 and current version for eCommerce that is installed is ECO 5.0. Is this the latest one? or shall we be on ECO 7.0 that is released with CRM 7.0? Please confirm.
Any information that you could share will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Jai,
The newest version is CRM 7.0 which runs with the latest ECC release, so you should probably go for this release. Please also see note [1249473|https://service.sap.com/~form/handler?_APP=01100107900000000342&_EVENT=REDIR&_NNUM=1249473&nlang=E].

  • How to attach PDF file to product catalog in e-Commerce ERP

    Hello Experts,
We are implementing SAP E-Commerce for ERP (ECC 6.0 version)
On the product catalog, I need to attach a PDF file to the products.
I have created a document as
    Document Type: DMO
In this I have created 1 original as:
    Applic: PDF
Original:  "abc.pdf" (the PDF file has been uploaded to the correct Web Server folder)
This document has been assigned to the product as u2018Documentsu2019 in the product catalog.
I replicated the catalog on TREX. However now I am not sure how to acess this document on the e-Commerce Products JSP.
When I access the product index on TREX, I do  not see any attribute that contains this document Type containing the PDF.
(The standard LIM / SIM documents are getting attached correctly to the products, I see the relevant images on the JSP)
I am not sure if I am missing something in attaching  the document?. Please let me know what else is required to be done for this?
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Roopali

    Hey Roopali,
Following is the procedure to Attach a multimedia object .
Hope you are following this especially point number 16.
    1.     Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:
    Transaction code     COMM_PCAT_ADM
SAP CRM menu     Master Data à Product Catalog à Maintain Product Catalog
You will have Material Master rather than Product catalog as it is ECC version.
    2.     In the Product Catalog field, enter PRODUCT CATALOG
    3.     In the Catalog Type field, enter Manual and automatic assignment.
    4.     Choose Change.
    5.     Expand Header Data by choosing the Expand data area Button labeled Header Data
    6.     Check that the status is Inactive.
A yellow light bulb indicates that the status is Active. To set the status to Inactive, click the light bulb and a gray light bulb appears.
To add new products to your product catalog, you must first deactivate the status on all levels.
    7.     In the Object Name screen area, select your product catalog.
    8.     Choose Expand all.
    9.     Double-click the catalog area to which you want to manually assign your objects.
    10.     Check that all products are set to inactive.
    11.     In the Item list, double-click the product.
    12.     The selected product is shown below in the screen area Item Details.
    13.     Choose the Item Documents tab.
The tab page Product Documents provides information about which objects are already assigned to a product in the product master. This means that these objects cannot be changed in the product catalog. They can only be changed in the product master.
    14.     Choose the folder YCRM_IMAGE  or YCRM_THUMB and choose Import document. Browse for the multimedia object that you want to assign to the product.
    15.     Select the object (picture) and choose Save.
    16.     Choose the tab page Properties to set this multimedia object as language-independent, set the field Language-Independent(Prod) = Yes.
This field controls the publication of documents in catalog variants depending on the language. This means that the document is valid for all languages in which the catalog is published.
    17.     Choose Save.

    Sumit

  • ERP ECO IPC Display Multiple Prices in Product Catalog

    Hi,
We are using ERP ECO 5.0 with IPC Pricing. Currently we have the 'netValue' configured for priceTypes, which is displayed correctly on the product catalog.
We have a new requirement, where we need to display three different price conditions from the pricing procedures on the product catalog for each material. This includes PR00, YR00 (custom condition type) & subtotal 3.
Is it possible to retrieve the above condition types and display on the product catalog? How should we go about doing this? Any pointers on this will be appreciated.
    Thanks,

  • Missing prices in a product catalog in ERP E-commerce

    Hi All,
We are implementing ERP E-commerce using ECC 6.0 as the backend. I created a product catalog using
basic data thet includes catalog type, proper sales area, a valid customer, document schema, variant
and all other required data. I defined some valid materials in the layout of the product catalog. I created
condition recors for the sales area/customer/material combination. But, I do not get any prices for the
materials in the product catalog. If I create a sales order using he sales area, material and customer that
I used in the product catalog then I get the proper prices for the materials in the sales order.
Please let me know what can be the reasons for the missing prices in product catalog? What configuration/
settings that need to be done to fix this issue ?
    Thanks in advance.
    --R D

CaN you chk in mm02 for those materials if a valid unit of measurement is maintained?

  • Import products into Product catalog - WWM1 ERP E-commerce

    Hi guru's,
Is there a standard LSMW or program form SAP to import products (XML file) into Product catalog (wwm1). We have arround 10,000 materials and it is practically hard to enter them manually.
We are implementing SAP ERP E-commerce and are on ECC 6.0.
    Thanks
    Ram

While lot of effort is put by SAP in a BAPI to read Catalog or Catalog Export programs, there isn't any direct program to automatically load catalog.
We are out of luck if we don't use the automatic option in Catalog - that is to load catalog as per the hierarchy. If we have to use manual then there are no standard LSMW / programs for TCODE WWM1 to load products in catalog. We have found that the screens don't work well for a BDC type loading and hence we could not use LSMW easily.
Now, here is the IDOC for [Product Catalog - PRDCAT / PRDCAT01  |https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/sapidb/011000358700002529571998/prdcat01_d.htm] and one for [Product Catalog Item - PRDPOS / PRDPOS01|https://websmp209.sap-ag.de/sapidb/011000358700002529571998/prdpos01_d.htm]. What do these give you? Nothing much really - you can use these as a way of input of your XML catalog data. But you still have to write your own program to load the data.
In CRM, there are bunch of function modules when used in a coordinated way, can be used to build a loading program.

  • ECO 7.0 for ERP product catalog views

To warn everyone, I know this question has been asked before for earlier releases several times, but I did not find anything in the threads I mention below.
We are currently on CRM 7 and ECC 6(no enhancement packs).  I have found quite a few good materials on the solution and configuration, but still have not found anything that explains how customer specific catalog views are setup in CRM 7 ECO using ECC 6 as a backend.  I was wondering if you have any resources that you could point me to find out more about this functionality.
I have read the following threads:
    Re: Creating Catalog Views
Product Catalog Views in R/3 ECC6.0
but really have not come up with any conclusive beyond it is custom development work.
Can someone please confirm or deny this for this specific combination?  If this is repeat of an already answered question, please give me the thread and I will post this information into the CRM wiki as my punishment for duplicating the question.
    Take care,
    Stephen

    Hello Stephen,
I just implemented catalog views for the exact same scenario, CRM7.0/ECC6.0 a couple of weeks ago. I followed several threads and blogs on SDN, including the one Easwar mentions and it works fine. Maybe there is another way to do it now with less custom development but at least the 'old' approach is still working, as Easwar says... I sent you my detailed documentation so you can have a look. If you have news from SAP, i'm also interested.
    Thanks & regards,
    Fabian

  • Can we have a b2b webshop without Product catalog in it

    Hi Gurus,
I have a scenario where I dont want to Product catalog on the webshop. Customers log in and just want to see the order history.
How can I set this up.
Please explain if this is possoble.
    Thank You

    Hi Ram,
yes, you will have to create a catalog without products. This is because the catalog is a required field when creating a new shop in the shopadmin. Only when you use the webshop with an R/3 or ERP backend, no catalog is required at all.
    Best regards,

  • How to attach PDF file to product catalog in Internet Sales R/3

    Hi Experts,
We are implementing SAP E-Commerce (Internet Sales) for mySAP ERP or SAP R/3, release 5.0.
I need to attach a PDF file to the product in the product catalog of the Web Shop. Some where in the documentation I have read that itu2019s possible.
I have created a document with following parameter:
    Document  2001 \ Document Type L01 \ Document Part  000 \ Document version  00
In that document, I have created one original with the following parameters:
    Applic.     PDF \ Data Carrier    isar3 \ Original      <WebServer folder>/SAP.pdf
I have assigned this document objects to the product as u2018Documentsu2019 in the product catalog. (through Tcode WWM2).
I have uploaded the PDF file to the correct Web Server folder.
But I CAN NOT see my PDF file anywhere in Web Catalog.
By the way, following the same steps I have also created another Document containing 2 original images:
    Document  2002 \ Document Type L01 \ Document Part  000 \ Document version  00
In that document, I have created 2 originals with the following parameters:
    Applic.     LIM \ Data Carrier    isar3 \ Original      <WebServer folder>/ Test_big.jpg
    Applic.     SIM \ Data Carrier    isar3 \ Original      <WebServer folder>/ Test_small.jpg
I have assigned this document objects to the product as u2018Documentsu2019 in the product catalog. (through Tcode WWM2).
I have uploaded the image files to the correct Web Server folder.
I CAN see the small and large image in my product catalog with out any problem.
Is it possible to attach PDF in this way? Am I making any mistake? Am I selecting the correct document type (L01) for the document?
    Please guide me.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Abir Kundu.

    Hi Abir,
SAP standard for R/3 E-commerce allows only SIM and LIM applications.
Any further requirements like PDF needs to be an enhancement on the product details JSP.
Also make sure you are storing the PDFs in the right location to retreive it on the product details.
    Thanks,

  • Replicating Product Catalog  for CRM E-commerce

    Hi All,
We have CRM 5.0 and trying to implement B2B E-Commerce. We created a product catalog in the CRM and configured XCM and shopadmin application. We created webshops for B2B. The B2b Webshops list is available.
I don´t replicate the product catalog. But after selecting any of the shop we get this error.
*The catalog that you have selected is currently unavailable; try again later *
Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem.
We have checked Trex and J2ee connection too
Is it possible access to WebShop witihin replicated product catalog?
    Thank you

You replicate your product catalog to the TREX server to enhance search functionality and scalability, and to improve system performance for your customers. You replicate your product catalog from your ERP server to the TREX server, using an ABAP Report.
    Transaction code     ISA_CAT_REPLICATION
You use the transaction ISA_CAT_REPLICATION (ABAP Report ISA_CATALOG_REPLICATION) to replicate product catalogs from your SAP ECC server to a TREX server.

  • Send Product Catalog

    Hi All,
I am working on MDM as of now and the requirement is to integrate 2 CRM servers to send the Master Product catalog data to the MDM server via XI server. The XI server is necessary as this will transform the messages from the CRM system to XML Messages and store it at a shared folder. Now I can import that data from the shared folder into the MDM server and manage the data. The question is how can I send data from the CRM -> XI. For ex. there is a transaction in ERP "BD10" through which you can send data to a logical system. In that case if the logical system is XI then it sends the material IDOC to the XI and from there I can import to the MDM server. IS there any transaction like that in the CRM system ?
    Regards,
    Sudhi

    Sudhindra,
Like in the example you have mentioned a material is sent to XI in the form of an IDOC, can't you send the catalog in the form of an IDOC.
I am not sure what it takes to configure the CRM system to send catalogs.

  • Architecture of Product Catalog Publishing

    Hello CRM Experts,
I've created a product catalog in CRM 7.  I'm using the CRM Webclient to create my sales documents.  I thought that the catalog would be available in the Webclient but that is not the case for me.  When I go to the webclient I don't see my catalog.
We're using the CRM 7.0 system in standalone mode.
While reading the documentation I ran across this document which lists the requirements for integrating the product catalog from CRM 7 to the Webclient
    [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/en/1c/12b2dc57d644d19ea3a5c4156f904f/frameset.htm]
A few questions arose after I read this.  I'm hoping you can help me with some of the details (the text in italics comes from the documentation referenced above).
You have set up a Java based CRM Product Catalog. For more information, see Creation of Product Catalogs. I'm assuming that this is referring to the regular product catalog I've setup in CRM 7.0.  Why does it say "Java Based" ?
You have set up a Web shop running on a Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) server. For more information about the configuration of the Web shop, see SAP Solution Manager  Do you know where I should look in Solution Manager?  What if I'm using CRM 7.0 in standalone mode.  Solution Manager is not involved.  I'm working on a sandbox environment
You have configured the Extended Configuration Management (XCM) settings. For more information about Extended Configuration Management (XCM) for Web Channel, see SAP Solution Manager.  Do you know where I should look in Solution Manager?  What if I'm using CRM 7.0 in standalone mode.  Solution Manager is not involved.  I'm working on a sandbox environment
You have assigned the user to a business role. The following table explains the technical names for each business role in the standard implementation: My role has Sales Professional role. I'm assuming that should suffice.
    I'd appreciate your inputs.
    Thanks

For E-Commerce with CRM, (Web Channel - E-Selling) Product Catalog is a mandatory component. CRM Web Channel provides the required User Interface for the CRM Product Catalog. For the functioning of Product Catalog in CRM, TREX is mandatory. While the Product catalog definition and product master data still remains in the CRM backend, the TREX (Index server) is used to keep the product id and some pertinent chracteristics / attributes of the product in indices, thus making the product search as a "offline" task and searches are much faster without any load to the backend system.
E-Commerce with ERP (R/3 backend) provides Product Catalog feature - but has two solutions, one search with TREX and the other without TREX. Product search without TREX are run in the R/3 backend. Unfortuntely there is no such solution with CRM.
Well, now coming to using Product Catalog with Web UI (Interaction Center), you need the Product Catalog in CRM, and hence TREX. Hope this explains.
Now, ask the Basis team to please read the [Installation Guide|https://websmp103.sap-ag.de/crm-inst] and [Master Guide|https://websmp103.sap-ag.de/~sapdownload/002007974700000372592008E/50089607_A4_CRM70SR1_130.pdf].
Here is the exerpt from [CRM Master Guide|https://websmp103.sap-ag.de/~sapdownload/002007974700000372592008E/50089607_A4_CRM70SR1_130.pdf] for quick reference by your so busy Basis team.
    3.7.2 Catalog Management in CRM
    Description
You use this business scenario to create a centralized product catalog that contains product
descriptions, multimedia displays, pricing, and associated literature. The catalog enables quick
and easy customer access to timely and personalized product information. Product catalogs are
implemented in sales processes and are of particular importance in CRM Web Channel for presenting
your products in the Web shop.
    Software Units
The following software units are required for the Catalog Management in CRM scenario:
    Mandatory:
    1. CRM Application Server ABAP
    2. CRM Application Server Java
    3. SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Search and Classification (TREX 7.0)
In the current context, there is no immediate option for 3rd party solutions.

  • List Price Not getting displayed in B2B Webshop Product Catalog

    Hello Experts,
We have done all the required configuration to view the LIST PRICE in B2B Webshop product catalog.
    We have done following settings:
    1. Pricing Procedure assignment to the PRODUCT CATALOG VARIANT
    2. Initial Replication of the product catalog
    3. Shopadmin setting for List Price (radio button selection on the GENERAL Informaiton Tab)
    4. XCM Setting - No IPC
    5. For the defined variant, we have maintain an entry in the Parameter for List Prices - ZPR0 and table as CUS506 and Catalog Price type as List Price.
6 Downloaded the required condition record from ECC to CRM with correct validity period
But still we are not able to see the LIST PRICE. Any other change (say addition/removal of product from CATALOG areas)in the CATALOG is getting dispayed correctly in the WEBSHOP product catalog except LIST PRICE. That means we feel there is no issue from TREX perspective.
Any other pointers will be really helpful.
    Regards
    DJ

What are the fields for CUS506? During replication if the list price is replicated from this table then all the key fields mentioned in this table should be available during replication for this table.
What my wild guess is that maybe this CUS506 has a field e.g say SHIP_TO or SOLD_TO etc.. Now at the time of replication.. there are no shipto or soldto hence no values/price will replicate to TREX.. hence u will see nothing in catalog.

  • Problem with Path Managed property in alternate zones - also we have identified problem with Product catalog in alt zones

    Hi All,
I'll start "one step back". Note we have resolved this issue but it is worth mentioning:
Yesterday we set up the product catalog. We were having a lot of inexplicable problems with it initially. After much troubleshooting, we found that it was because we were browsing the SharePoint site via the "Internet Zone" rather than the "Default
Zone" when we "Connected" our site to the product catalog. Issues experienced:
    1) "Catalog Item URL Format" displayed error "Properties <Managed Property> specified by the shared catalog could not be found in the search schema" when attempting to connect to the catalog, despite that managed property being
configured correctly. The catalog would connect despite the error, and the navigation worked fine.
    2) The search Result Source for the catalog would not return any results. Configuring the query and selecting "Advanced Mode" would show SPSiteURL:http://externalURL.domain.com. Changing SPSiteURL manually to
http://InternalURL resulted in results being returned as expected.
After much troubleshooting, we found that if were browsing SharePoint using the default zone (http://InternalURL) when we connected the Product Catalog, the result source then worked properly (internally and externally).
Ok, so now onto our current problem:
The Product Catalog appeared to be working properly (internally and externally) after figuring out that we needed to connect it from the Default Zone. However, we have found a remaining glitch, which doesn't appear to be Product-Catalog-specific. Consider
    the following scenario:
    1) We click a category in our Product Catalog, such as Electronics
    2) A list of our electronic devices are presented via the "Category" display page
    3) If we click on a specific item, a different URL is returned internally vs externally. We only get the friendly managed navigation URL when browsing via the Default zone. And of course totally different pages load based on which URL you get.
Internal (when browsing via Default zone):
    http://InternalURL/catalog/PRODUCT-CATEGORY/PRODUCT-NAME
External (when browsing via Internet zone):
    http://ExternalURL.domain.com/catalog/Lists/Products/DispForm.aspx?ID=1
We have reviewed the display template, and the "Path" managed property is simply being used to render the link. Furthermore, we have configured the Content Search web part's "Property Mappings" to show the "Path" MP, and it
displays the same (wrong) result externally.
This tells us that the Path MP is not correctly rendering "Friendly URLs" when using managed navigation.
    Any help/ideas?
    Our environment:
    SharePoint Version: 15.0.4667.1000
    Default Zone: http://InternalURL
    Internet Zone: http://ExternalURL.domain.com
We are NOT using host named site collections
We ARE crawling the Default zone URL in our content source
    Thanks,
    Tommy

    Hi,
We have now also observed the same issue with a Managed Property of type “Hyperlink/Picture”. The picture returns the wrong URL externally.
This post describes the same issue, however the poster found that setting UseAAMMapping=True doesn’t work in 2013:
    http://sharepoint.stackexchange.com/questions/104806/set-the-useaammapping-property-of-a-managedproperty-object-map-an-url-of-a-h
We checked, and our Picture MP had UseAAMMapping=False. We set it to True, did a full crawl, and see no change in behavior. Path already had UseAAMMapping=True.
