Error 6753 - Possible Solution (worked for me!)

I just spent two frustrating hours trying to set up my AX in a hotel room.
I was running Airport Utility on my PC (Windows XP) but PC could not see the AX. Did hard reset, then factory reset - still no luck. Connected PC to AX with ethernet cable - got the "could not connect, error 6753" message.
Finally, I borrowed a friend's MacBook - ran Airport Utility from there - Mac immediately saw the AX (wirelessly - no need for cable) and my new wireless network was up and running 30 seconds later.
All now works well - both for Macs and PCs.
Moral of this story - despite what Steve Job may tell you, Airport works way better with Macs than PCs...

I tried the same thing to no avail. Apple is aware this is a software problem since ios7 and are doing little to nothing to fix it. I have searched high and low for solutions and besides the common battery hungry features, i have found and tried this, multiple times, and had no improvement.(like you, it seemed to help at forst but after a day or so went right back to draining) The most recent one i saw was turning off icloud backup entirely.. Trying this one out now i will let you know if it helps... Ive even tried turning LTE off but standby STILL drains 10% an hour while locked. Apple has seriously dropped the ball with ios7 and still flaunt it as "the best".. It is lies. I avoided updating for 2 months scared that it would be buggy.. And what do you know my battery immediately had a 50-75% decline in battery. Apple is no help, told me to pay 100$ for a new battery or buy a new phone even after my battery passed their test with something like 91% capacity after a year and 3 months. Also saying the new battery"may not fix the problem"... in other words "your battery is fine but buy a new battery anyway". They know Ios7 is terrible and destroying batteries.. But they DO NOT CARE and probably view it as a way to suck more money from loyal customers already paying boatloads of cash for what are not overpriced products(pre ios7.. Iphones were phenomenal) must have been TOO GOOD to make any money servicing products. How do we fix that? Drain batteries and sell them new ones! I know for a fact it is software.. They must have done this on purpose, or are not fixing it on purpose for monetary gain. Unacceptable!

  • Possible importing solution (works for me)

Ok everyone, this worked for me. It's not perfect, but a lot better than 30 minutes a song! I found 2 things that worked. #1 "Minimize I tunes while you are importing" "Stretch your legs,go get another beer or whatever"When you come back, your cd will be done(I saw speeds of 10-20x) The weird thing is that as soon as you return to the import screen, it stops! So minimize, check on the progress by using ctrl and tab. #2 As soon as you start importing, go to another i tunes screen (I used the music library) Again, worked pretty fast, here i got 7.0-10.0 speed.
Again, this works for me,not guaranteeing but a lot better than what i had a few hours ago!

Great! Thanks heaps this works for me aswell.

  • Call to Driver Package Error - Nine Possible Solutions that have Resolved this Issue!

Hello everyone I've decided to write up this guide to discuss and troubleshoot the “Call to Driver Package Error”.
What is it ? What causes it?
This issue normally occurs when a specific driver, that is being called, cannot be called. Sometimes, a 1627 or 1603 error is referenced in the error.
         - If a 1603 error is referenced, this indicates that an ERROR_INSTALL_FAILURE has occurred, meaning a component of the installation failed. This is normally accompanied when another form of installation occurs.
         - If a 1627 error is referenced, this indicates that an ERROR_FUNCTION_FAILURE has occurred, meaning a function at a specific moment has failed, and the installation cannot continue.
Typically, these numbers do not mean a whole lot. However, for an advanced user, these numbers might mean a little bit more.
    An example?
"Call to driver package install returned the error 1603 for Pkg C:/ProgramFiles\HP\HP officejet pro 8600\driverstore\ng scan driver\HPWia_OJ8600.INF"
This is the most recent error message I've witnessed. If you break it down, you will notice that “HPWia_OJ8600.INF” is the installation file (INF) that has failed. WIA (Windows Image Acquisition) is crucial for scanning, and the printer installs this file to enable scanning features.
How can you troubleshoot this error?
This is the main portion of the post. I am going to suggest a significant list of troubleshooting that you can attempt. There are nine solutions which have resolved the issue in different situations, all of which I personally worked with. I'm hoping that these solutions will work for you if you have to face this error.
*Please note that some of this troubleshooting is a little complicated. If a mistake is made, you may have to reinstall the operating system. However, the final troubleshooting step will require you to do this. You should make sure all of your data is backed up before troubleshooting.
Backing Up Your Files (Windows 8)
Backing Up Your Files (Windows 7)
How to Back Up Your Files (Windows Vista or XP)
You should also backup the Registry. There are some Registry-editing steps in the troubleshooting I provide.
Backing Up, Editing, and Restoring the Windows Registry (Windows 8)
Backing Up, Editing, and Restoring the Windows Registry (Windows 7)
Backing Up, Editing, and Restoring the Windows Registry (Windows 98, ME, and XP)
*After each step is attempted, you can try installing the printer software. If it fails, please uninstall the software before proceeding. This HP document will explain how to do it:
    1. The first step is performing a Clean Boot. I've resolved this issue in the past by performing this simple step before installing the software. A Clean Boot will turn off third-party programs and services that could be blocking the software from working correctly. For more information on how to do this, please look at this Microsoft document:
How to perform a clean boot in Windows
    2. Next, make sure the Windows Installer it turned on and started. If it not, the installation may not complete. To do this, hold down the “Windows” and “R” key on the keyboard, which will open the Run box. In that box, type “services.msc” (without the quotes) and hit Enter.
Now scroll down to the Windows Installer. If it is checked stopped, or not started, right-click on it and select “Start”.
    3. Next, I would suggest completing all Windows Updates:
    a) Open "Windows Update" in Control Panel.
    b) Click "Settings", and then click "Install optional updates".
    c) Next, click "Check for updates".
This will ensure that all updates are found and installed. Once they are installed, see whether or not the error returns.
    4. If the issue is not resolved at this point, I would like to check the system for obvious corruption with an SFC scan. SFC stands for System File Checker, and it scans and attempts to restore corrupted Windows files.
To do this, open Command Prompt as Administrator. Type in this command and hit Enter afterward: sfc
    /scannow
Write down the results and restart computer after this completes.
    5. Creating a new Administrator account is a workaround to the issue. If the error does not appear on other accounts, this proves that whatever is causing the error is account-exclusive. I'm going to suggest you unlock the computer's built-in Administrator account.
To do this, open Command Prompt as Administrator, again. Then type in this command and hit Enter afterward: net user administrator /active:yes
    6. The next step involves editing permissions in the Registry. In the Registry, please review the instructions below to apply full permissions to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    a) Right-click on the key that you need to edit and/or delete (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE). Click on "permissions..."
    b) Click "Add" in that Window that appears.
    c) There will be an empty box under "Enter the object names to select". Type "Administrator" (without the quotes), then click on "Check Names".
    d) An Administrator name will appear, click "Ok" when it does.
    e) You should be able to select (click) the Administrator profile under "Group or user names". Once clicked, click on "Advanced".
    f) Click on the "Owner" tab.
    g) Click on the Administrator profile, then put the check-mark in "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects".
    h) Go back to the "Permissions" tab, and ensure the Administrator profile is selected.
    i) In the "Permissions" tab, put a check-mark in every box available. The boxes will likely be indicated by "Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent" and "Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object".
    j) Next, click "Edit". Put a check-mark in "Full Control" under Allow. Click Ok. Now, click Apply (you may receive a Window security message, just click "Yes"), then Ok.
    k) Exit the Registry, then restart the computer, and launch the Administrator account.
    7. The next step is to re-register the Windows Installer, and other dynamic library links (.DLL). Doing this will reference certain components that are required to complete the installation. Open Command Prompt as Administrator, then type each command and hit Enter after each one:
    MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER
    MSIEXEC /REGSERVER
    REGSVR32 MSI.DLL
    REGSVR32 ATL.DLL
    REGSVR32 SOFTPUB.DLL
    REGSVR32 WINTRUST.DLL
    REGSVR32 INITPKI.DLL
    REGSVR32 DSSENH.DLL
    REGSVR32 RSAENH.DLL
    REGSVR32 GPKCSP.DLL
    REGSVR32 SCCBASE.DLL
    REGSVR32 SLBCSP.DLL
    REGSVR32 MSSIP32.DLL
    REGSVR32 CRYPTDLG.DLL
    8. There are certain DLL files that can interfere with the installation, and they should be deleted. Go to C:\Windows\System32
    Delete the following files:
    HPZipm12.dll
    HPZinw12.dll
    9. Before reinstalling the operating system, you can try restoring it. This will allow you to return the computer to a point where the printer was working.
*You should only do this if the software worked in the recent past.
What is System Restore? - For Windows 7 and Vista
How to refresh, reset, or restore your PC - For Windows 8 and 8.1
What if these nine solutions do not work?
Finally, you will need to reinstall the operating system if the issue is not resolved by this point. However, I can promise that this will resolve the issue. Here is a generic document on reinstalling the operating system:
Overview of Recovering the OS or Reinstalling the Operating System
And that's everything. Thanks for reading! - Mario
I worked on behalf of HP.

No error messages are given. It will either freeze while saying "Accessing iTunes Store," or without saying anything at all.
    I'd try the following document:
Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store
(If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)

  • Error 108: possible solution

    Hello,
I make little movies that I upload to Youtube (here), and I seemed to randomly experience the -108 error when trying to export/share a video.
The suggested solutions I found here (restart the system; clear hard drive space; switch off time machine, switch codec from h.264 to something else) did not work for me.
What did work was that I replaced the moving background "Underwater" with a static one. This is a bit strange, as I have been able to export films with thrid-party movie clips set as background; just not with Apple's own moving backgrounds.
SO stick to static backgrounds, or use third-party ones. Hope this helps!

This has made this 80 year old pensioner's day.  I have been trying since July 2013 when BT Sport first commenced to be able to watch streaming on BT Sports.  Not one person in th BT organisation has been able to help me and I have tried and tried and tried yet again all sorts of things to be able to watch the live streaming in particular the football.  As the author says, surely someone must have had this problem before according to the number of complaints about people not being able to watch the BT Sport application.  I have been all round the world of BT from Bombay to you name it I've been there, even to the extent where the experts at BT have taken over my computer with my permission and tiried and still they ciould not solve the problem.  What a shambles really and I am not trying to be nasty.  I have even taken my new computer with Windows 8.1 back to Curry's for them to try and help me and they  were quite right when they told me that it is the BT Sports network that have not got this sorted out.  Well I have had a double brandy tongiht to celebrate this person who has taken the trouble to help people.  What a generous person to spend all his time in trying to help someone else when it would have been so easy to just not bother.  I cannot believe that such a huge organisation as BT could not have experts on hand to help their customers who are the prosperity of any company.  Thank you my friend from the bottom of my heart, thank you thank you and thank you.  You can see how so frustrated I have been for nine months not to be able to get BT Spoorts and their live streaming.  I have just watched my first football live Stevenage v Everton.  I am going to bed tonight believing ithat there are people about who genuinely go out of their way to help and I am one of the lucky peiople to have been able to just come across this solution.  Sincerely  Syd Spence Leicestershire 25th January 2014

  • Burn Error 4000 Solved? Worked for me!

First of all, I apologize if this solution has been posted before. I looked for it on here and couldn't find a solution in the archives. My OS is XP.
My problem started when I had to split a disk because of too many tracks for one. First disk burned fine but when I put in the second I realized it kept trying to burn the first playlist and then Error 4000 occured. Checked burn ability with Windows Media Player and it worked fine. I burned through about 20 disks with iTunes before deciding to try uninstall. When I went to add/remove in Control Panel, I chose the "Change" option instead of the "Remove" option. Once in Change, I chose "Repair." I then tried to burn disk and got Error 4000 again. I only mention this step because it is the one immediately prior to solving the issue.
After this, I resolved to try one last time. This time, however, I removed the check in the box for "CD Text," (because I couldn't remember if I'd already tried that) and the disk burned fine. Even checked it in Windows Media Player to see if it worked. It did. Works in the truck fine too!
Anyway, hope this works for everyone else. Obviously, Apple needs to get this fixed.

When does Apple come out with the fix for the burning issue "4000", which is getting a global problem?????????????
    I have this problem now several months, tried e v e r y t h i n g, even reinstalling XP. I am a pro DJ and buy all my music through I-Tunes, while it´s the best.
    Please HELP

  • Mission Control Crashing? This solution worked for me

The first OS I used from Apple was Panther. Since then, I have had 3 machines and I never did a fresh install. I simply upgraded from one release to the next.
I never had any issue, but with Lion, things were different.
Lion installation process is full of rough edges and I lost many tweaks I have done on my OSX all these years, several icons were missing on Finder, several apps missing from the Dock and Mission Control was not working after the installation.
I banged my head on the wall for 24h until I found the culprit and Apple should test this better.
Here is the solution that worked for me.
The first test you should do is this:
    1) create another user on your system
    2) login to that user and see if Mission Control works there
    3) if it works, congratulations and welcome to my private club: the Mission Control Crashers Club.
If MC works on the other user, the problem is with your account. So, continue reading this...
Do you have experience dealing with terminal and unix?
If you open a terminal window and type
    cd ~  (enter)
    ls -al .*   (enter)
you will see a list of all invisible files and directories that are stored on your home directory.
look at the names and dates you see there. In my case I have located files and directories created in 2008 (on another mac I don't even have anymore) and I also saw files and directores belonging to apps I have removed a long time ago.
look at each file or directory that starts with a point (= invisible).
if you locate a file you want to remove, type
    rm .aaa
where aaa is the file name
if it is a directory, type
    rm -r .bbb
where bbb is the directory name
when you feel you have removed all the old crap, log out and login again.
Try Mission Control and Dashboard then.
OBVIOUSLY, MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE REMOVING ANYTHING. DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
In my case, the problem was solved.

Thanks for taking the time to come back and let us know - it is valuable to see when a fix has worked for someone.

  • Adaptec SCSI Card Solution (worked for me anyway)

I know there has been a lot work put into this issue, and even this solution mentioned once before but since it completely worked for me, i figured id post because its inevitable that someone else will ask it soon.
Like everyone else, once upgrading to Tiger, my Adaptec 2930CU card (supposedly the biggest offender of them all) would kick in kernel panics almost every time I tried to write a DVD-5 DLT and would never get through a DVD-9.
I took someones advice and deleted the extension for this card in my System/Library/Extensions folder. This completely eradicated the problem and it works as good the old days. I have another machine with a different Adaptec card, not sure which, did the same thing and that solved it.
Hopefully this will be beneficial to somebody out there as im sure anyone who didn't spend a million dollars on a card a while back probably bought Adaptec

Thanks for taking the time to come back and let us know - it is valuable to see when a fix has worked for someone.

  • Audigy 2 ZS Distortion Issues With Vista - See if this solution works for you guys

First of All Creative - It's sad, really sad that you really haven't supported your customers. As such a big maker of excellent products, I'm disappointed to know that you have barely provided driver support to your customers. I've been buying Creative products since 1997 - Also - I purposely upgraded my sound card on my Hp Media Center to an Audigy 2 ZS. Secondly - I formatted my computer and re-installed Vista. Before that, the sound card i.e. the sound worked fine (after a lot of trial and errors with different drivers, i somehow managed to get it working without Snap, Crackle and Pop Issues. In other words, I experienced distorted playback when I first installed Vista. Now that I re-installed Vista - Everything installed but as usual - only issue: Yup, you guessed it right.
Creative Audigy 2 ZS Infamous Snap Crackle Pop (SCP) I did try k_daniels drivers and even though I applaud for his efforts - unfortunately it didn't work for me but i'm sure they would if you did the following - ) Uninstall all Creative Drivers Using Driver Sweep2) Do not install the driver through Windows Update (did not work for me)3) Install latest drivers from Creative or K_Daniel's Package4) Install Vista Codec Pack5) Install DirectX06) Then do the following: Got this sorted. Hope it works for everyone..found the answer searching Google.
Right click VOLUME icon in taskbar
    Click PLAYBACK DEVICES
    Right click SPEAKERS
Click PROPERTIESClick ADVANCED Make sure there's no tick marks in any of the options there including ENHANCEMENTS.
This should sort it. [After doing all this, I have no sound issues whatsoever - Crystal Clear Audio Quality but still not better then XP] I am planning to try K_Daniels pack with all the extra applications and I'll post later on in regards to my experience with the pack. Good Luck P.S: Hope this helps somebody because doing all that helped me get back the audio clarity I was looking for without any distortion whatsoever.

    Hi xmins
Im not using a decoder, only an amplifier alone with two speakers ... My cable is plugged in line out , and then plugged on line in of the amplifier.
The distortion is very audible, in HL 2, Battlefield 2, etc
When got a explosion, a shot from shotgun, missile, the sound comes distorted ...
    Any more hints?

  • WIN 10 INTERNAL POWER FAIL.... solution worked for me.......

What I did was boot into safe mode. If you have enough time before the error, press window key + R.Type msconfig and run it.Under the boot tab, select safe mode there and click ok and click reboot. Once the thing is up and running in safe mode, and it may be sloooooow to get there:You need to find the AMD video driver in the device tree. (Control panel > Device manager > expand display drivers)It will be the AMD radeon one.Right click and select properties.Uninstall the driver and say yes to deleting the driver files. THEN, go to the AMD folder on your hard drive "C\AMD" and delete it. Go back to the msconfig and run it.This time uncheck the safe boot so you can boot up normal and do that. Once you are up and running again, and it may be slow this time too:Go to the AMD website and look for the Windows 10 drivers.I did not let any kind of automatic thing occur, I selected the one and downloaded and ran it. Choose Windows 10 64bit and you should see this one:AMD Catalyst™ Display Driver version 15.20.1062.1002 Scroll down a bit to see the download button.Do it!Run it! Hope it works for everyone! --JIM.

I think I spoke too soon.I was connecting  my second hi res monitor which worked fine in Win 8.1 and noticed that it was not at its full res. Then I discovered that any and all AMD items were non-existent. No catalyst control panel, etc. only the Intel stuff.Then..... 1/2 hour in ........ Internal power error!! Going back to Win 8.1 again and waiting until this all gets worked out with toshiba! --JIM.

  • Error mapping doesn't work for me. Plz Help!

I have created a .war using deploytool and added "404, /WEB-INF/NoSuchPage.html" in the error mapping area in file refs on the right tabbed panes.
When I deploy the war and test it, the error mapping doesn't work. The server still display the default 404 page to me.
    What is the problem?
I do have checked the descriptor. It contains:

  • Help, windows error 6753, but macs work?

Ok I got a AEBS today, and my G4 powerbook, my mac mini, vonage phone and even my friends pc laptop (connected wirelessly) all work fine. Its just the pc that is connected via ethernet to the AEBS gets the 6753 error. I am running XP on that computer, I have reset the AEBS twice. I have tried to configure the AEBS on the pc first but the same error comes up. And AFAIK I am using the most recent software version...
I also have the amber blinking light...
I have searched but no answer, just this same question.
    So any ideas?

No configuration of the Base Station is ever necessary to get this PC - which is cabled to the Base Station LAN port - to "work". If it doesn't work, the configuration problem is on the PC and not the Base Station.
What I suggest you do first is make sure your PC has been configured to obtain an IP address automatically. That is Windows' default setup, but perhaps you or someone else has changed it. Check it as follows:
    1. From the Windows XP default Start menu, select Control Panel. From the classic Start menu, select Settings, and then Control Panel.
    2. From the Control Panel menu on the left, click Switch to Classic View.
    3. Double-click Network Connections.
    4. Right-click Local Area Connection and select Properties.
    5. From the General tab, click the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) text, and make sure the checkbox is checked. Click Properties.
    6. Click "Obtain an IP Address Automatically" and click "Obtain DNS IP Address Automatically", and then click OK.
After reading your original message again one thing stands out - you said the status light is still flashing yellow. That usually means the Base Station has failed to get an IP address (via your cable or DSL modem) from your internet service provider. And that would normally preclude any of your computers from accessing the internet - but yet you say that most of them do except for the one PC. Is your cable/DSL modem connected to the Base Station WAN port as it should be, and not one of the LAN ports? And, are you certain that your wireless computers are actually reaching the internet via your own base station and not the unsecured wireless network of one of your neighbors (sorry to ask - but it happens).

  • Error when Installing Solution Manager for XI

There are a total of 43 steps at the installation, and this error occurs at Step 2.
There are a few questions which I need some help:
    1) Since the server is fresh, and it is a new installation, when defining parameters during installation, do I choose "Register in existing central SLD" or "Configure a new SLD"?
1a) If I need to choose "Register in existing central SLD", what values should I input for SLD HTTP Host, SLD HTTP Port, SLD Gateway Host and SLD Gateway Instant Number?
1b) If I need to choose "Configure a new SLD", what value should I input for the Object Server Name?
    2) Any ideas what the errors above is about and how to solve them?
    Please kindly advise, thank you.

  • Maverick runs slow.. the following solution work for me

Launch Terminal and enter the following command:
    sudo nano /etc/auto_master
Enter an admin password when requested, then find the line that says “/net -hosts ….” looking something like this:
    /net -hosts -nobrowse,hidefromfinder,nosuid
Use the arrow keys to navigate to the front of that string, and then place a # (pound sign) in front of the / to signify that it has been commented out, it should now look something like this:
    #/net -hosts -nobrowse,hidefromfinder,nosuid
The modified /etc/auto_master file should now look like this, the #/net has been highlighted:
Now hit Control+O to save the file, then Control+X to exit out of the nano text editor and return back to the command line.
Now you must flush the automount cache, so type the following command string:
    sudo automount -vc
Now you should be good to go, so exit out of Terminal and try to access any Open, Save, or Export dialog box window again. The slowness should be gone completely, and you’ll be back to speedy file interactions through the dialog windows as expected.
This bug has been encountered and reported enough that we can assume a solution from Apple is likely to be due in a future OS X Mavericks update, be it 10.9.1 or otherwise. If you do use this automount workaround, remember to remove the # from the /net entry in auto_mount if and when an official bug fix arrives from Apple.

    Thank you.
I am not going to try again with 10049.
I tried using the Install.esd from RecoveryImage folder and it busted my Win10TP partition claiming I did not have enough space to finish. I had 13 GB available at the time, and I had less than that when I did the same thing on 10041before they released
    the ISO.
In the process, I had to remove the dual boot Win10TP partition, recreate a new partition, clean install 10041with the ISO , then upgraded back to 10049.
I had enough  excitement for a while.
One last comment I would like to make......
MS has been warning us about using the beta version and said something like it is only for testing by computer well-versed users.
However, I would like to submit that for every
computer well-versed user, there are 10  who are just "regular" users. Just read the threads in these forums and you have the proof. Most of them do the straight upgrade via WU. Some wouldn't know where to find the ISO or the Install.esd.
We have this Dism /SFC issue since build 9841. SFC in particular is commonly used by all users, more so by "regular" users. Sfc is their basic, and sometimes the only, app to fix things.
MS should have it fixed by now ..... for majority of Win 10 TP users. No excuse they sit on their hands.

  • I've tried all the suggestions from previous posts about error 2002f and none work for me. I am selling my macbook air so erased the drive. When I select my wireless connection the globe turns then gives me the mentioned error. Nothing seems to work. Help

Tried changing wpa options and having no security but that doesn't work. I have talk talk fibre so connection speed no issues.  I have an external HD with back up on but I don't think that has anything on to help me here.

  • Possible solution for people having problems updating InDesign CC to 9.2.2 on Windows 7/8

So after InDesign CC x64 (x32 version seemed fine?) giving me constant update failed errors and about four different error codes each different way I tried to fix it, I decided to find out why, like many I have been getting this in my Install log.
FATAL: Payload 'Adobe InDesign CC x64 Application Language Files_9.2.1.101_AdobeInDesign9AppLang64-en_US 8.0.0.15 {35937D37-6FF2-1014-BDC2-9CD1656E73E4}' information not found in Media_db.
Reinstalling via Control Panel or the CC Cleaner tool did nothing to remedy the situation and the same error kept occurring, even though CC is meant to download the language files (apparently)
However, what I thought was odd was the fact that it references 9.2.1 not 9.2.2. It seems Adobe CC installs InDesign CC 9.2.1 from a fresh install but then fails on the 9.2.2 patch, but it seems 9.2.1 itself is either corrupted or something doesn't go right with the language packs as the error above shows.
SOLUTION: Manually install both the 9.2.1 and 9.2.2 patches.
    Get them from here: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-updates-direct-links-windows.html
Both will be named setup.zip, so rename them to something like setup_9.2.1 and setup_9.2.2 and extract both zip archives.
Install the 9.2.1 patch followed by the 9.2.2 patch, reboot and Creative Cloud should stop whining. It worked for me on Windows 8.1, open up InDesign > Help > About InDesign and check the version, it should be 9.2.2.
    PROFIT.
Hope this works for others. Hopefully Adobe fix this in a CC app update, as this had me going in circles for a while.

    Hello,
    This solution worked for me.
I was encountering the Error Code — U44M1P34.
This error occurred when Creative Cloud Manager notified me of the InDesign CC 9.2.2 update.
I tried almost everything, removing / uninstalling the program, removing / uninstalling all the programs, deleting all the left behind folders of the programs, re-downloading them from Creative Cloud Manager and even trying manually to install the 9.2.2 update.
    Thank you.
