Kate

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

    Hey lucky scruffy,

    Some Windows customers may experience installation issues while trying to install or open iTunes 11.1.4.

    Resolution
    Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
    Check for .dll files
    1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
    2. If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.

    Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
    Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
    1. Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
    2. Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using theMicrosoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.

  • ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 1114

    Hi!
    We have an application with an ODBC connection. The ODBC connection is working properly in my developer machine, via remote desktop and using it directly, in my test machine (virtual machine, accessed by remote desktop), and in the far test place, accesed by remote desktop, used by admin user or normal user. But if the tester uses the far test machine (Win XP SP3) directly, the app can't create ODBC connection: 1114.
    Instant client directory is in the path, sqlplus is working correctly used directly or via remote desktop.
    I tried Instant Client 11.2.0.3.0, 11.2.0.2.0, 11.1.0.7.0, 10. 2.0.4, 10.1.0.5, downloaded from Oracle web site.
    We did a test with process monitor. Via remote desktop loaded the sqora32.dll, called may times IRP_MJ_READ - I don't know this operation, and continued loading the dependencies: oci.dll, OraOCIEI11.dll and so on, the result was OK. Directly accessed the test computer, the sqora32.dll was loaded but did not called the IRP_MJ_READ operation. Found and loaded the oci.dll, found the OraOCIEI11.dll but did not loaded. Not tried and failed but did not loaded. And the result was 1114.
    Directly loading the driver dll, LoadLibrary failed and GerLastError reports 183 - ERROR_ALREADY_EXISTS.
    There is Remote Desktop group on the test machine, of course, but there is not specified any special security settings for it. I checked groups, the instant client directory and it's dlls.
    I haven't any really fine idea.
    Imre

    XP System error 1114 is, I believe, "A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed." That could mean several things, including (but not limited to):
    1) The setup file that you tried to install is corrupt and a re-download is needed;
    2) the .dll your install requires is corrupt, and a system re-install is suggested;
    3) the .dll your install requires is too old or too new and a different version of the download is required.
    Hard to tell from the actual messages, OS and Oracle version information and other useful stuff you have [not] posted.

  • I just downloaded Itunes 11.1.4 (64-bit) and am running Windows 7, Itunes will not open and I get an error message about Microsoft runtime and I get an error R6034 and 1114 which says Itunes was installed incorrectly. Can anyone help?

    I just downloaded Itunes 11.1.4 (64-bit) update and am running Windows 7.  Itunes will not run after installing this update and I receive an error message R6034 on Loading Microsoft C Runtime Library incorrectly.  Also Error message 1114 the Itunes Installer was installed incorrectly.  Is there an new update for this problem? Is anyone else having this problem?  Please help.  Thanks.

    Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

  • CodeBehind AS Files in Library Project Error 1114

    Hello all,
    ich already did a search, found people with similar problems but no concrete solution.
    The Problem: In FlashBuilder 4 when creating a new LibraryProject I can't put actionscript code (pure code, no class definition, no package)  in seperate actionscript files which are included in the script block of a component. It worked fine in FlexBuilder 3...
    I always end up with errors like
    1114: The public attribute can only be used inside a package.
    Example Code:
    Componet MXML definition:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <s:Group xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
             xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
             xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx" width="400" height="300" initialize="onInit(event)">
        <fx:Declarations>
            <!-- Place non-visual elements (e.g., services, value objects) here -->
        </fx:Declarations>
        <fx:Script source="codeBehind/DemoComponent_cb.as"/>
    </s:Group>
    Actionscript Code for this Component in File codeBehind/DemoComponent_cb.as
    public function onInit(e:Event):void
         trace("initialized");
    (no class, no package - just these 4 lines)
    Just trying to add an empty actionscript file to the projects also results in an Error:
    A file found in a source-path must have an externally visible definition. If a definition in the file is meant to be externally visible, please put the definition in a package.
    As said before - this worked fine in FlexBuilder 3. Is there a new rule in FB4 not to keep code seperate from mxml in simple actionscript files?
    Beeing able to nest Actionscript files with the new include command makes this error even more suspicious.
    Is this a bug, a feature, am I doing something wrong? Any help appreciated!
    Regards
    Andi

    Flash Builder 4 has a new option in project properties for Flex Library Build Path. The default "Include all..." option includes all MXML and AS files in the source path. For your case, you'll need to use the old option that forces you to choose which files to include. For more details, find include-sources here http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Flex/4.0/UsingSDK/WS2db454920e96a9e51e63e3d11c0bf69084-7a80.ht ml.

  • Error while running query in BI Answer

    Hi All,
    I am getting this error while executing a query in BI Answer.
    State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 17001] Oracle Error code: 1114, message: ORA-01114: IO error writing block to file %s (block # %s) at OCI call OCIStmtExecute
    Do anyone have any idea about this error. The query was running and i was able to see the output but suddenly it throws this error.
    Awaiting for response.
    Thanks
    Ashok

    Its an Oracle database error, possibly caused because your file system has filled up, or because the disk device is no longer available. Possibly caused by a Sort operation on your query causing the TEMP segment to auto extend and fill up the filesystem, but I'm guessing at the last bit.
    You need to contact your DBA to investigate further.

    ...I apologize but of course setting the size to 3.8GB max is a "non-sense". The major thing is not to hit the 4GB size from a tablespace in Autoextend. So setting the initial size of the datafile to a value superior to 4GB is enough then you can be in Autoextend.
    Then you'll eventually hit the maximum size in number of blocks for a datafile but this is easily solved by adding a new datafile.
    Regards,
    Guillaume.
