Error creating outbound parameter in WE20
Hi,
Recently, I tried to create a new partner profile via WE20 of Type B (Bank) in my QA system. The profile got created, however, I could not create outbound parameters for the same. On clicking the '+' symbol to add the outbound parameter, it takes me to 'Telephony' tab. Even after providing some info in the Telephony tab, it doesn't give me a screen where I can enter the outbound parameter details.
I have checked and verified my authorization after comparing it with DEV system and found it to be exactly the same. Infact, I have more authorization in QA than in DEV.
Would someone please help to resolve this issue. Has anyone faced a similar problem before? If yes, how did you resolve it?
Thanks & Regards,
Deoraj Alok.
I had a problem like this years ago.... caused by an inconsitancy but i never could figure out why, i was not able to reproduce it.
to fix it I had to manually remove the entries from EDP12 EDP13 EDP21 EDIPHONE, ... and recreate it from scratch
are you able to create another partner profile or not?

Error on outbound processing (- to IDoc), nodetailed error message
Hi guys!
I'm facing a problem with sending IDocs to R/3. My messages have red flag in outbound status, but there is no detailed error message. Everything seems to be ok, but my IDoc doesn't arrive to R/3 and there is that red flag in XI.
What could cause this? It seems like there is some communication problem. Any ideas?
Thank you,
OlianHi,
IT will give the status number, what is the status number in IDOC check it and update the thread.
if u find its a data problem u can debugg the FM,go to WE19 and give ur IDOC number and there u will find the option start out bound processing form this opion u can debugg the code and know wat is the error.
Check ur ALE settings.
STEP 1:ALE SETTINGS TO POST IDOC OUT OF SAP R/3
We need to do the following settings in XI

Initial cause of problem was trying to duplicate bootable SD card and it wrote it to C Drive system partition. Finally stumbled around and got system volume rebuilt and got it running again but Recovery partition got deleted in the process. I used W7 Recover/repair since Toshiba options seemed to be to overwrite everything (backup was month old, so wanted to avoid restoring since system files and data were still "there". I can use Toshiba program to make Repair, Recovery and Image copies. However, I cannot use W7 Backup program to make a Repair disk or Image backup. I get the error message: "System Repair disc could not be created The parameter is incorrect (0x80070057)"
I suspose the next thing to try would be to run System file checker since W7 sees a problem that the Toshiba utilities do not detect. Is there any "risk" of running the system file checker (sfc.exe), which also changes permissions on all system files.
I would like to correct any lurking system file problem, but also don't want to take a step backward trying to correct it. I have a W7 Windows disk.
Would appreciate suggestion.... leave alone and trust Toshiba image/recovery DVD I've made, try to correct it or leave well enough alone and hope it doesn't bite me later when I need to do a recovery. Thanks....Hi! I just got to add my 2 cents! Very nice replies and good information. Nice work Jerry and eagle!
Dokie!
Just one small problem the link has a down load manager. I'll let eagle explain that?? My advise is not to use a down load manager period! If you scroll down to the bottomof the page, you will be fine.

Error message when creating outbound delivery
Hi there:
When I am trying to create outbound delivery I encountered below error message:
Item 000010: delivery split because of different shipping points
How to solve this issue? This mostly happens whenever the shipping point in the header and the line is not the same.
Or it may be the reason that the unloading and receiving points of the header does not correspond to the unloading and receiving point of line.
I hope it helps.

Creating outbound delivery with reference to inbound delivery
Dear all,
My requirement is as follows:
I get an inbound delivery from my vendor for the our sales orders. (For n number of sales orders having same shipping point, shipto party ad sold to party, we get one inbound delivery) As of now we are using that inbound delivery and read data from LIPK and LIPS and using 'BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC' to create outbound delivery.
But, it is creating one delivery each for every sales order. What we require is to create only one outbound delivery.
I have searched in forums and tried to use VL10A, VL10C but since the delivery dates of each order are different I cant use those transactions.
Now I have two options:
1) Take inbound delivery as reference and create outbound delivery. Are there any FM's or BAPI's for this which will create 1 outbound for each inbound?
2) Can we combine multiple sales orders into a single delivery when the delivery dates are different.
Could you please help me.
Thanks in advance,
AravindHi Aravind,
I am facing some issues while creating Outbound delivery using the BAPI 'BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC'. I am getting the error message in return parameter as "No instance of object type OutboundDelivery has been created. External reference:"
If you are successful in creating Outbound delivery, please suggest what may be the issue for this message. Iam passing the exact sales order no and item no., quantty and unit of quantity. Also manual creation of Delivery using VL01N is successful but using the BAPI it is unsuccessful. Please suggest with your valuable points on this.

Function Module to create Outbound IDoc
I have created a segment (ZSEGPRO), basic type (ZIDOCPRO) and message type (ZMSGPRO) to create a custom IDoc. Now I have to write a Function Module to create Outbound IDoc.
I want to know what will be in Import, Export, Changing, Tables, Exceptions and Source code of that function module. The fields used in the segment ZSEGPRO is given below:
Fld NameSource Data Elmn Description
PRODUCT MARA MATNR Material number
TEXT MAKT MAKTX Material description
PRN MARA YYBCEZNDR Print Field
Additional information: Export parameter will be BAPIRETURN for holding error message(if any).
These Function Module need not require to be RFC enabled.Hi ,
Refer these:
There are two main reasons
1) Make sure you call COMMIT WORK after the MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE

2) The rest of the setting of the ALE IDoc might not have been done
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/78/2177c951ce11d189570000e829fbbd/frameset.htm
You can use the Area Menu WEDI and do the rest of the settings.

Not able to create a parameter of type STRING_TABLE in BOR
Hi All,
I want to send a table of type STRING_TABLE from webdynpro to workflow.
I have created this table of type STRING_TABLE in webdynpro as well as in workflow successfully.
But i am not able to create a parameter of type STRING_TABLE in BOR event as well as method.
It is giving me error as "Data type STRING_TABLE can not be used".
So how can i send my internal table value of STRING_TABLE type into workflow?
Regards,
AmarHi,
I agree Vinoth in certain aspects. It is not possibly the best idea to try to store a string table in workflow container. There are certain limitations in the container (255 characters) in certain situations and you might find yourself in problems in the future. So, consider converting the string data into some other format - OR you could also check if you can limit somehow the lenght in WDA (but of course then you will still have the same problem about the string table data type).
If you want to try to it, you should be able to create your own table type of string. I don't remember the details but there might be something "special" about the STRING_TABLE (only available in WDA or whatever), and that's why you are seeing the error. So, try to create your own table type that has string data type as an row. Then use that.
But as I said, you might see some problems. For example, if you try to read the container with SAP_WAPI_READ_CONTAINER, it will just return you the first 255 characters of each row, etc. There are ways to overcome these kind of problems, but just to let you know, they might not be that simple.

Issue while creating Outbound Delivery using Standard BAPI
Hi all,
I am trying to create an outbound delivery for a Sales order using the Standard BAPI - BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS.
After giving the valid inputs for Sales order no and doc no, am getting an error as "No instance of object type OutboundDelivery has been created. External reference:" But when trying to create manually there is no problem. Please suggest what may be the issue and how to correct it?
Regards,
Vimala PHi Vimala,
I am trying to create outbound delivery using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS & BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC. But no success. Getting "No instance of object type outbound delivery has been created" in return.
1) Delivery Type
2) Delivery selection date
Needs to be passed in import parameters.
Could you please tell me what are all the parameters to be passed under tables tab in RV_DELIVERY_CREATE?
Thanks in Advance..

Thread: 11gPS2 : Error creating model from wsdl while creating a WebService
Hi ,
I am trying to create a Web Service Proxy using Jdev.I am using a WSDL file located in my local system for the same. I choose all default options but the proxy is not created due to the following error -
"Error creating model from wsdl <wsdl_name> : A class/interface with the same name xyz already in use"
https://picasaweb.google.com/sudipto.desmukh/ADFIssues?authkey=Gv1sRgCJeF2bWcoM_ZBg#5610073699826050514
I found a few threads which had similar issues but the solutions didnot work for me -
1)Error creating model from wsdl (Create separate model projects for proxies , since in the existing model project I already had generated files using create WebServiceData control wizard)
2)Error when creating Web Service Proxy (there are no duplicate variables or schemas in my wsdl)
Can someone please suggest what might be wrong ?
ThanksThanks for your reply Vishal.Pasting the wsdl -

Hi
Error -50 paramErr - Error in user parameter list
Can there be any external hard disks - if so How is/are it/they formatted ?
Must be Mac OS Extended (hfs) if used for Video.
UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange - works for most but not for VIDEO.
• free space on internal boot hard disk? How much ?
Video codec
• streamingDV, AIC etc. (not .avi, .mp4, .m4v, .wmv etc as they are containers not codecs)
Pictures
• in what format ? .jpg, .bmp, .tif, else ?
Audio
• from where/what format ? iTunes, .avi, .mp3, .aiff, else ?
Corrupted preference file: The "com.apple.iMovie.plist" file - trash it
Many users has not observed that there are TWO libraries.
• Library - at root level
• Library - in user/account folder - THIS IS THE ONE to look into

I fixed the problem.. but it was very, very strange. I had a very long section for credits and set the line spacing to 1.0.. for some reason this caused it. I removed it, and it worked fine. I put it back, and I couldn't preview or play the video.
I don't know why that could cause that big of a problem, but it did..

You need more free space on your hard drive.
Where do Your material come from
• Camera
• External hard disk
• USB-memory
And all are connected so that iMovie can find it ?

After phone support from apple I ended up creating a new project and adding all 117 clips back in individually till I found out what clips flagged and would not allow me to export. I had 3 I deleted and replaced and everything works now 1hr after tedious work....

Shorter clips than 1,5 sec might be one of the culptrits
Bengt cont.
Set-Up might differ
• Mac OS - most probably X.7 or more
• iMovie version - more than iM'11 v. 9.0.4
Action taken
• Finalizing project - I never do as I never understood the gain to do so
• Share as HD to iDVD - never give any gain but if it works the resulting DVD is less quality than if SD-quality was shared
fps - set
• I only use PAL (25fps

What does "error in user parameter list" mean? how do i fix it?
Can't burn my movies to iDVD because this message keeps showing up "Unable to prepare project for publishing". The project could not be prepared for publishing because an error occurred. Error in user parameter list. Please tell me how to fix this.
The first thing I test to do when iMovie doesn't behave as it should is to trash the preference file.
It's a very common way to try to solve problems with Applications that has problems.
Reg iMovie that file is named as one or more of these
com.apple.iMovie.plist
com.apple.iMovie3.plist
com.apple.iMovie7.plist
com.apple.iMovie8.plist
com.apple.iMovie9.plist
com.apple.iMovieApp.plist
Not always all of them are present - but many can be
I also trash
com.apple.iApps.plist
and clean out the Cache folder
All of them are in a folder named Library - BUT as there are more than one - most people chose the wrong one.
The obvious one is Library on Root level - first window that opens when You open Your Start-Up Hard Disk.
AND - that is the wrong one
The one to find is the one in Your User Account folder - and in Mac OS X.7 and so on - it is HIDDEN.
Easiest way to find the correct one is to go up to the top row Menu (Apple symbol to the top Left hand corner of screen) and here go to the right to GO and keep Option-key DOWN and it will Show You the correct Library.
Now - here find the folder Preferences to move out the com.apple.xxxxxx files to the desktop WHEN APPLICATION IS NOT RUNNING ! IMPORTANT !
then find the folder named Caches - here too - try to identify the cache files that are connected to the application - and move them too to desktop.
Now try to run Your application e.g. iMovie
There is an easier way to test if this is the real problem by
• Goto Apple menu and down to System preferences
• Select Accounts
• Click on the Plus sign and create a new user e.g. test1
• Apple menu - and down to Log out
• Now log into the new user test1
• Now see if application runs as intended
If so - then the problem to 99% is in the Pref or Cache files.

ParamErr: error in user parameter list
I am trying to finalize an iMovie11 project, and I get this error message: The project could not be prepared for publishing because an error occurred. (ParamErr: error in user parameter list).
I rebooted and relaunched iMovie to no effect. What does this mean?
