we need to copy one column to other in data base trigger but we are getting error in iproc form
in 11.5.10.

When i am creating a PR or PO with doc type frame work order the order unit is automatically populating as "AU" is this something std or do i have to do anything in configuration?
When i created a PO with ref to PR aith account *** K into the PO and add the item category B the charging information was not maintained so how to maintian this?
How to maintain the accounting info from PR?
Also if there is a complete process link releated to config of frame work order that will be great.

Create new acct assignment category in IMG -MM - Purchasing -Account Assignment - Maintain Account Assignment Categories (If you are sure of fields to be used then you can directly create Y, if not then copy existing category say K to new one and choose required fields)

In Purchasing - account assignment - Define Combination of Item Categories/Account Assignment Categories - set combination for Y and B.
Hope your documement types (PO & PR) allows item category B.

Check the pricing procedure in IMG - Purchasing - Conditions - Define Price Determination Process - Define Calculation Schema - Check for calculation schema - NAVS has been maintained.

You need to choose document types while creating purchase transactions. If that document type doesnt support item category B- then you will get an error message.

For services (D category) we define AU as default unit (IMG - MM - External Services Management - Source Determination and Default Values - for Client/for Purchasing Organizations)

How to maintain the accounting info from PR?

Using Open Card Frame work I am trying to access GemAlto provided Smart Card (java card). I downloaded the Open Card Frame work from http://www.openscdp.org/ocf/download.html.
I am executing a basic program to access the data stored in smart card.

JMS Adapter Frame Work Error - No Alert

Hi All,
   We have configured Alert Frame Work in Development and it is working fine .
Only issue with Adapter Frame work I am able to catch all the errors in File adapter like
wrong directory, FTP errors and No sender agreement but for JMS Communication channel
when the queue is down or wrong parameters to connect then CC is showing errors in RWB
   but I am not getting any alerts even when there is no filter.
I could not understand why , can u throw some light.

Error in Frame Work Order

Hi SAP Gurus
While creating a frame work order system is providing an error "Enter free of Charge" and message number ME083. The material in concern is procured against cost center and it is not FOC material.
I've checked in "Invoice Tab" the selection is there for Inv. receipt and in field selection for "FOF" there is no mandatory
field selection GR/IR control. Pls help me solve this error.

Symptom
In Customizing, field "GR/GI indicator" is set as a required field. If you create a purchase order and enter an item on the table control overview screen and subsequently choose 'Enter', the system generates error message ME083 "Please enter free of charge". The cursor is placed on checkbox "Free item" in this case.
Cause and prerequisites
Field "Free item" has the same modification group as the GR/IR indicator.

How do you know it is getting stack overflow?
Try commenting out your validation code, and see if the form loads without it.
Uncomment it, and find out which specific bit breaks it.

Error -- No Such Trigger('when-button-pressed')

I am getting the error ""No Such Trigger('when-button-pressed')"",
when I am executing the code EXECUTE_TRIGGER( 'WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED' );
on some item(Key-Next-Item), although WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger exists.
What could be the problem ?. It worked till yesterday, giving error from today, I havent
changed any thing.

Steve's tip is the only good solution for this case.
The problem in your case for example is:
Let's say you have a block-trigger, which fires after your execute-trigger.
Now a colleague of you, which don't know your code, create a WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED on an item, then the new code is started and not the block-trigger-code.
So, don't ever do this. Write your code in a package-function or -procedure and call it from the trigger. So you can re-user the functionality

Crystal report 9 supports frame work 2.0

we are using Crysatl report 9 and build the reports using VS2003 with the frame work 1.1.4322.
We are fetching the online report by deploying the same in the IIS server which has the frame work [1.0,1.1,2.0].
When we use Asp.net frame work 1.1.433 in the virtual directory, we have are not getting any issue.

Using jump menu in one frame to open page in another frame - works in IE but not Firefox

Hi,
I'm a beginner designer. I've been working to create a template for a website in which there is a banner in a frame across the top and three frames beneath - left for navigation and middle and right for content that can be compared.
I have created two jump menus in the left frame using Dreamweaver's option for it (insert/forms/jump menu): one menu to load pages in the middle frame (in the code this is 'left') and one menu to load pages in the right frame (in the code this is 'right'). Both menus use a go button.
Using Internet Explorer and allowing active content to run it works fine. In Firefox clicking 'go' does nothing however I have links in this navigation that will open a page in the middle or right ('left' and 'right') frames and if I use these the jump menus will now work.
How can I get it to work straight off?
Any feedback is welcome (except regarding not using frames!).

I have created frame work order purchase order, service entry sheet and invoice also completed then i reverse the invoice
and reverse service entry sheet then i delete serve entry sheet also.so i need to delete po in me22n t.code during deletion
that time showing error Purchase Order item can not be deleted, Message no. ME303 there is no pending for release approval
also.plz suggest.

Why did you create a SES for a Framework Order, SAP Framework order does not need any GR/SES.
Process is Framework Order > Invoices.

Frame work order - Process

Hi Friends,
We are using Blanket Purchase order(Order type- FO) for purchasing materials and services for the period of 2 years.
We have one scenario, i don't know, how it will affect the Frame work Order.
The scenario is,We have FO for the quantity of 10000 Materials in the period of Nov 2008 to Nov 2010. And every month, we are calling vendor and tell him to send the material for the quantity of 100.
First situation, we need more materials i.e 500 during Nov 2009 due to market demand in that case how Frame work order works, do we need to change Frame work order?. is it possible?.
Second situation, During the month of Sep 2009, vendor is informing us that he can not give the same materials for same price due to increase in cost of materials. How Frame work order works, do we need to create new Frame work order or FO can be changed?.

First situation: not possible, you can not change the frame work order, you have to create new purchase order for 500 qty
Second situation: also not possible, for the changed price, create purchase order for the new price for the excess qty.

Dealing with errors due to newly added/dropped columns

I am not sure if i have created an unnecessarily large post to explain a simple issue. Anway, here it is.
I have been asked to code a package for Archiving .
We'll have two schemas;The original schema and an Archive schema (connected via a DB Link)
ORIGINAL Schema -------------------------> ARCHIVE Schema
               via DB Link          When records of certain tables in the ORIGINAL schema meet the archiving criteria (based on Number of Days Old, Status Code etc), it will be moved ('archived') to the ARCHIVE schema using the INSERT syntax

Alternative Syntax:
So i thougt of using the syntax
insert into arch_original select original.*,sysdate from original; -- sysdate will populate archived_date columnEventhough the code looks simple and short, i've noticed a drawback to this approach.
Drawback:
For the next release, if developers decide to add/drop a column in the ORIGINAL table in the Original Schema, that change should be reflected in the archive_table's (ARCHIVE schema) DDL script as well. It is practically impossible to keep track of all these changes during the development phase.
If i use
insert into arch_original select original.*,sysdate from original; syntax, you will realise that there is change in the table structure only when you encounter an error(due to missing/new column) in the Runtime. But, if you have all the column names listed explicitly like
insert into arch_original@dblink
(col1,

col3,
select col1,
col2,
col3,
from original_tablethen you'll encounter this error during the Compilation itself. I prefer the error due to a missing/new column during the Compilation itself rather than in Runtime.
So what do you guys think? I shouldn't go for

What advantage would it bring if i make ARCHIVED_DATE as the first column in the ARCHIVE tables?The advantage is that if you'll add a column in the future on both original and archived tables the insert statement will work anyway...

Error due to out of memory condition

system: Windows XP, 2 GM RAM, Indesign CS3
I placed two files in Indesign: the first is .ai (1.1 MB, probably exported form a CAD program), the second is .psd (53 MB). When I try to print to .ps file, Indesign displays the message: "Export error: error due to out of memory condition". If I: 1. export to PDF, everything is OK, 2. rasterize .ai in Photoshop, then import the resulting .psd to Indesign, print to .ps file is OK.
Does somebody has an answer to my problem?

My gues is "mistakes" was referred to simply not outputting as intended by the designer. I had output issues when going directly to PDF and had to also continue the old way of doing thinkgs by outputting to .ps then distill to PDF. The "mistakes" that occured for me were nearly unnoticed. The publication was a 128+4 product catalog that had a header at the top of each page. I never had any problems outputting in the past. At the time, I just had updated to CS3 (XP Pro SP3 Dual Core 4 gigs ram). I was advised that outputting directly to PDF had been durastically improved. I output my files without "mistakes" or errors, or so I thought. After proofing, I didn't realize that all of the drop shadows for the header headline were not applied. The problem though, wasn't that they were applied to all headers, just beginning at page 60 or so, halfway through. After getting the finished publication back, I didn't notice it for a few months. After noticing it, I investigated. Several troubleshooting hours later (after forum posts and other expert help), I/we concluded that it was simply a program deficiency. During my trouble shooting, I looked at several areas mainly focusing on the transparency settings. I output the document several times. I finally exported each page separately and found that that was the only way that I could output every page to include the dropshadow in each header page (past page 60 or so).
I have been past that issue for a while now. Now I am on Win 7, Quad core, 6 gigs of ram, and don't have the outputting problem that I used to. Now I occasionally get this "Error due to out of memory condition" which is BS because my hardware specs are beyond reasonable for what I typically create in my workflow. Most of the time, my memory is only at about half of its capacity when I get this error. Not when I have a PS open with a large multipage file that I am working on. My out of memory error happens during file output or just when performing ordinary layout functions in InDesign.
When on my personal computer (Aluminum iMac 2.4 Core2 duo, 4 gigs of ram, 512 video, CS4 & CS5) I have neither of the above issues.
