Error in app with TabNavigator loaded with SWFLoader - WebKit browsers

Hiya,
I use a flex app (A) to load another flex app (B) using SWFLoader (both built using Flex Builder 3 sometime ago).
Everything works fine as expected across all (IE, FF, Chrome, Safari) desktop browsers.
However, if I use a TabNavigator within the flex app (B) then when you click on any of the tabs it unloads the flex app (B) and re-starts flex app (A). This behaviour is limited to Webkit based browsers (Chrome & Safari) the rest of the browsers (IE, FF) it works fine.
I wonder if anyone can throw some light on this.
Many thanks
Kind regards,
klem

Resolved:
Replacing the HTML template files with the latest copy from Flash Builder 4.5 seemed to resolve the issue. It appears they have replaced the AC_OETags.js with swfobject.js
Tried to explore upgrading the code to 4.5 but seemed to throw a lot of incompatibilities, created a test/dummy project instead in 4.5 and used the html file created to replace the old html files created by Flex Builder 3.0
Clearly not a very common problem, but hope this saves someone time and effort.
Thanks Harui

  • Air app doesn't load with renderMode set Auto

Adobe Air app is not loading on my customer's Android device with renderMode set to Auto, while it works fine when renderMode set to GPU.
I guess in Auto mode it tries to set it to Direct and fails.
    I'm using Adobe Air v3.6
    Android device is Polaroid PMID-971C
    Android version is 4.0.3
Unfortunately, I have limited access to customer's device, but logcat shows the following:
"Fatal signal 13 (SIGPIPE) at 0x00004de8 (code=0) adobe air"
Any help or fix would be highly appreciated.

From the docs that I could find (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/air/build/WSfffb011ac560372f-5d0f4f25128cc9cd0cb-7ffd.html), it appears that "auto" mode = cpu mode.
The default value is auto, which currently falls back to cpu mode.
Is this happening on multiple devices or just the one?  Any chance we could get access to your application to try it out?  If so, could you please open a new bug report on this over at bugbase.adobe.com?  If you'd like to keep your app/code private, feel free to email the attachment to me directly ([email protected]).
Once added, please post back with the URL so that others affected can add their comments and votes.

  • Interface frozen with images loaded with Loader()

    Hi all,
I am trying to create a web app that allows the user to load an image from a local folder and process it with some image processing. I was able to do that with FileReference and Loader.
I am using an asynchronous shader to process the image and it seems that when the image is loaded locally the interface is locked out for a second or so before showing the result. However, if the image is embedded this does not happen and the image is updated instantly with the result.
I don't really understand why an image loaded with a loader has this lag and an embadded image does not... Can anyone help?
    Thanks.

  • Error on RT Get CPU Load With CRIO 9024 and LV2010

I just try to monitor CPU Load on my CRIO 9024 using LV2010 and i get Error -2233 with RT Get CPU Load.vi
It worked with LV2009 and not anymore ... Someone has some issues ?
Could we enabled/disabled CPU load on target ? how ?

    Hi silencer,
Thank you for posting on National Instruments' forum.
Can you tell me your version of LabVIEW RT, and NI-RIO drivers please?
I verified the problem with LabVIEW 2010 and a cRIO 9022 and it works.
Can you send another screenshot please?

  • Apps won't load with cellular data

i am with vodafone and I have a plan that gives me 5gb of cellular data free. Most of my apps work but some like Instagram or tumblr won't load. What is wrong?

    Hi na3478,
The article linked below details a number of troubleshooting steps that can help resolve issues with apps that won't launch on your iPhone.
If an app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open

  • App Crashes on load with Ad Hoc Deployment

I have an app which I have sent out to 3 users and 2 of the users have no problems. On the third user when they try and launch the app on the device it crashes. The user also gave me the device ID of a separate device and we tried with this device. Again the same problem.
Since the other users are having no problems I'm guessing it is something to do with the iTunes setup. Any ideas of what to check for or what could be wrong?
There are no crash logs generated for the app.

If it is crashing, there is a crash log. Google for how to instruct the user to recover or find out what their definition of 'crash' is....it may be as simple as you building with a newer OS then what they are using on their device(s).

  • Loading external swf fonts created with fontswf, loaded with a Loader, compatible with iOS

Let me immediately start out by saying that I do in fact have a current working solution for using embedded fonts, generated by fontswf and working in an AIR ActionScript mobile application, and also currently working fine with iOS.
My current app needs CFF fonts, so I currently use the fontswf tool to pre-generate the .swfs using:
    fontswf -4 -a [SomeAlias] -o [SomeFont.swf] [SomeFont.ttf]
and then I am currently embedding them in my app source code .as for compilation using:
    [Embed(source="/swf/SomeFont.swf", symbol="SomeAlias")]
    public static var SomeFontClass:Class;
I then have no problem registering them using Font.registerFont(SomeFontClass) and everything works fine.
However, I would prefer to take the use of these swf fonts one step further and load them dynamically using a Loader so that I do not have to take the hit of having multiple CFF font swfs embedded in the main compiled SWF and so that I could even load an unknown future set of fonts without having to supply them as part of the app build.
Now I have seen and read many blogs and tutorials where people have exported font swf from Flash Builder where you add an explicit 'Class' name or even made standalone .as static files compiled into standalone swfs only including the two lines:
    [Embed(source="/swf/SomeFont.swf", symbol="SomeAlias")]
    public static var SomeFontClass:Class;
so that you also have a 'Class' involved. Then people use some form of appropriate applicationDomain.getDefinition("className") as Class
to pull out the class for the font registration.
My question is, how does one perform the same font loading and registration of fonts using a Loader only loading the .swfs produced directly from fontswf?
It seems only a DefineFont4 is tagged in the swf, there doesn't seem to be a 'Class' per se to call on.
More importantly, iOS apps cannot load external swfs with code in them, so my understanding is any extra wrapped swf that would contain a custom Class technique would fail the iOS requirement of only having one main SWF with any ActionScript compiled code.
Is there an alternative to the 'Class' technique by grabbing the DefineFont4 tagged resource from the swf and instantiating a proper working Font class from that? One that would still be compatible with the restrictions placed on AIR mobile apps running on iOS?

Ironically, just after posting this, Adobe released AIR 3.5 beta onto labs, and added multiple SWF support for iOS.
While this new support makes it easier to manage your content across multiple SWFs and technically allows you to use the class based separate .swfs for each font if desired, the system still requires that all these SWFs be present at compile time when making the final app .ipa for iOS.
So this still doesn't solve trying to load fonts after the app is already built. For example, as part of a downloaded in-app purchase mechanism.

  • .vi loaded with errors on the target and was closed

When I intend to run my RT (communicating with an FPGA on a cRIO) it only runs one time. The second trial leads to the following error:
NI_AALBase.lvlibine Wave.vi loaded with errors on the target and was closed.
LabVIEW:  Failed to load shared library lvanlys.*ineWaveCIN:C on RT target device.
After reseting the FPGA and Labview it runs again, but also only for one time.
    Thanks for solutions!
    Thomas Vogl

    Error 'found'.
Process (one day working on it!):
1- 'Disabled' .vi cutting it into small pieces.
2- Locate code that provokes 'not defined error' by enabling and running.
    3- Finally located.
    My case:
I've designed a communication system. To send data uses a PDU containing a 'variant' and 'ring'. This ring indicates type of data to convert variant with necessary typedef. The system defines 4 default msgs on ring (NULL, ACK, NACK, PING).
The receptor works well, but as I have a lot of data types, I need a case structure. (rings do not work with case at least on 2011) Then I do next thing:
Explicit cast to a typedef enum with all my data values... (This system is designed for our purposes and could not be the better solution)
... UNDEFINED ERROR ON PXI ...
    Solution:
Instead using explicit typecast use "coercion dot" casting. Like here.
I receive an U16 data that PXI cast to my enum on 'data out' indicator (you can't see coercion dot because pink and red are 'very different' colors)
    No more errors.
    Conclusions:
Labview has issues working with explicit type-casting to enums. I can't work more on it, but is necessary to debug this kind of issues because can affect projects at last steps of the development and drives LVdevelopers crazy.
The only think I do with the enumeration is to add new element and all the system fails...
Thank you for your reply Schmitz!
I hope that this information could help somebody that in the future needs to investigate how LV works... xD
Probably this is not the only issue related with ".vi loaded with errors on the target" (known as the "well defined error").
    Cheers

  • Pages load with a "hiccup"...

    Hi!
I have a problem with pages loading with a visual "hiccup". My site www.joecurtisband.com (Google will say it's going to my myspace, but it goes to the proper site) loads o.k. and everything is good EXECPT... when you go from one page to the next, as the new page loads the image and text "hiccup". Everything seems to load for a split second about an 1/8" higher than it should, then loads in place. This ONLY happens at the published site, not in iWeb. I took great pains to assure everything was consistent from page to page so it would flow nice. Any advise would be MUCH appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Joseph

After the pages load in the browser, a JavaScript is executed to draw the navigation bar at the top of each page.
That instance between loading the page and the drawing of the links takes a split second.
It's browser dependent too. Safari shows the hiccup. Firefox 3.0 & Flock do not.

  • Why App refused to load after entering correct password?

I have just renewed password to > 8 characters with mixture of upper lower  cases letter and numericals but app refused to load with prompt says unknown error.
    What is wrong ?

Sorry. That wasn't clear to me in you post.
Did you sign out of the account, restart and then sign in again as suggested. All that you said was the reboot didn't work. You didn't mention that you did sign out. That might be what makes this work.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart and then sign in again.
Did you do it that way?

  • Error in Process Chain while loading Master data text?

    Hello All
Having a Process chain and having 5 infopackages(Master data Attri & text)with FULL LOAD with an processing options as PSA and Infobject. In this one of the infopackage failed and the status is in red colour, and when I right clicked there is no <b>repeat</b> option? Now <b>how to run this process</b>?
Heard that v can restart the process in debug screen?can anyone let me know how to do this?
    Many Thanks
    balaji

    Hi dear,
you don't find the repeat option because this is a full load...I think you can easily restart the entire PC (or loading directly the failed infopackage from RSA1), because full loads for master data don't cause any data duplication !
    Hope it helps!
    Bye,
    Roberto

  • App update with application loader: bundle is invalid - CFBundleShortVersionString error

    Hi,
A client of mine is trying to update their app. They created a new multi-issue viewer (using ver18).
When uploading this app with application loader they receive the following error:
"This bundle is invalid. The key CFBundleShortVersionString in the info.plist file must contain a higher version than that of the previously uploaded version".
    (see screenshot)
When checking, the update app indeed had a lower version (iTunes) number than the one already on the app store. So I figured that was the issue, but when selecting a higher version and trying again the error still persists.
I couldn't really find anyone on the forum who previously had this issue.
    Tips are always welcome
    Thanks

    Hi
I have the same problem, we built the first app for our client through WoodWing, now we want to update the app with the Adobe one. During the upload of the new app, created with the Adobe Viewer Builder we get this error code:
This bundle is invalid. The key CFBundleShortVersionString in the Info.plist file must contain a higher version than that of the previously uploaded version.
When we open the Info.plist we can see that the Adobe Viewer Builder creates 1.0.1 for the Bundle Version String short, while the older WoodWing app has 2.1.
Marketing version in Viewer Builder = Bundle Version String Short or ?
That means everybody who is changing from the WoodWing to the Adobe reader needs to go through Adobe?
