Error in creating follow-on documents after shopping cart is approved

Hi,
After the shopping cart has  been approved by the concerned approver and the when the staus is checked in the check status application , it shows 1 error in process i.e. no follow-on document is created in doing so.
Thanks and regards
Sachin

Dear Sanjay,
Thanks for the reply. I have made all the settings , but I am getting an error in the check status application for the shopping cart that has been approved.
Well first instead of getting into the PO that are created in the backend system, let us consider the documents that are to be created as a result of categories that are local. I have maintained a range for local PO's.
I need to know whether any extra procedure needs to be carried out so that PO be created i.e I am not using the sourcing application as of yet and presume that the
POs are created (i.e. the follow-on documents are created on it's own,) .
I have my own local purchasing group for an organisation. It there are any setting please let me
know. PLease note that I am getting the same error as for ones while shooping cart that involve backend systems.
Thanks and regards

Do I need to do some settings to enable shopping for service type?

    Hi,
First you need to publish your service which you would get from the dropdown fro utilities->setting->its->publish.
Also check in transaction SICF whether your serivce is actiavted- else activate the same. you can find your serivice under the following path

  • F110 " Error in creating the payment document; read job log"

    Hi all,
when i execute payment in Tcode F110, getting message " Error in creating the payment document; read job log".
Log for payment run for payment on 30.07.2009, identification TEST1
Error in the recovery of constants
Information re. vendor 1000040256 / paying company code BG10 ...
... payment not possible because of reported error
Because of it, the payment file is also not generated.
The status says " Payment run has been carried out".
But when the open items are cleared.
What could be the reason for this error message?
    Regards,
    Vidya

    Hi,
As the document is in the cleared status, you can try finding out with which run date and run id the documents got cleared. Go to Transaction code SE12 and give the following details - Company code, vendor code and the payment documents (clearing document for the invoice) or you can also give the invoice document numbers and fiscal year.
The output will tell you which payment run id and run date was used to process the payment.
Hope this will help you understand what has happened.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Problem in creating follow-on document (RFQ) for a bid invitation.

    Hi Experts,
We have an issue while creating follow-on document(RFQ) for a bid invitation.
    Process is as follows :
We have a bid invitation and sent it to two vendors. After this, created two responses one is accepted and another one is rejected.
Now the accepted bid is ready to "Create follow-on Document(RFQ)". But when we do this, the bid with rejected vendor also including in the follow-on document. This should not be the case.
The follow-on document should include only the accepted bid, but not the rejected bid.
Could anyone tell me how to achieve this ?
Thank you very much in advance.

As far as I understand, what you described is the standard behavior. ALL undeleted vendors are copied over to the follow-on RFQ regardless if their bids have been rejected or not. What you can do is to implement BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI for BUS2200 and explicitly remove the vendors which created rejected bids. Make use of the header field "copy_of_guid" to identify the originated RFQ.

  • F110 Error in creating the payment document; read job

    Hello
I am running a payment run for few vendors and I am getting this error "Error in creating the payment document; read job" I have checked all the vendor acconts involved, for any blocked data but nothing is blocked. Is there any thing else that I am missing. Pleas let me know.
    Thanks

    Hi,
To rectify ur problem u need to check follwing points...
    1. doucuments types assogned in payment method in FBZP
    2. In Ecc 6.0 u need to create document types and number ranges in N1 ledger, because new ledger is activated by system  default in this version.
define document types in N1 ledger
    path:Spro-FA-****-Documnet-document types-define doc.types in GL view
give ledger as N1 and enter.
define document types whoch u were assigned in payment method in country. for doucument types u can take reference as OBA7 tcode documnet types..
    afetr that
define document N.ranges  fro GL view
path:Spro-FA-****-Documnet-document N.ranges-doc. in GL view-define document N.ranges  fro GL view
enter comany code and define number ranges for doc.types
afetr all above setting try once in F110. u will get result..

  • Newly created follow-up document is inactive

    Hi Forum,
I have just  created  a follow-up document for my service order and created a target transaction as another serv order document  through copy control.
The target Service order is showing in the create follow up documents in the main menu, but it is inactive, rest other follow up documents for the source service order transaction are active.
Please help me by letting me know how to make this follow up document active.
Another workaround that i have checked in SAP help is that we have made this in the same organisation unit.
    Regards,
    Amit

    Hi,
Have you maintained all the copy control settings like
    1. copy control for transaction types
    2. copy control for item categories
    3. copy control for target transaction and item categories
Also check whether the permitted channels is not maintained for the target transaction.
    Hope this will help

  • Unable to create a PO from a shopping cart in classic scenerio

    Hi Experts,
I tried creating a PO from the Shopping cart, but i am getting an error Number range 70 doesnt exist. Whereas
when i tried creating a PO from Rfx, PO is getting created. Can somebody suggest what would have went wrong.
    Regards,
    Santhosh

    Hi Santosh,
It could be possible that the number ranges are not defined or altered. Please check the path in SPRO(in SRM) for the number range of backend follow-on-documents.
IMG : Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM server-> Cross Application Basic Settings->Number Ranges-> SRM server number ranges->Define Number ranges for shopping carts and follow on documents.
Please check if number ranges are maintained properly for PO. After maintaining the details, try to push the shopping cart again. Check in RZ20 for the error details further(if it occurs again).
    Hope it helps.

  • I want to create a field in my shopping cart at item level

I want to create a field in my shopping cart at item level of char 25 which is not there in the SRM server by default,
Can tell me how can i do that,
if it is related with adding some code in ITS then please give me sample code and tell me how to find that required ITS template.

    hello -
you can reference sap note 672960 (older releases of SRM is 458591).
for shopping cart line item level, you would use structure:
    INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC
but keep in mind that you also have to add that field in:
    INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF

  • Changes to shopping cart during approval.

We are running the N-Step approval workflow WS14000133.
The issue we are having is when an approver makes a change to the shopping cart during approval (Task TS10008126) we would like this to trigger the step that sends the cart back to the requestor to check/approve(Task TS10008061).
The desired behaviour occurs if the approver makes a change to the price, but not if other aattributes of the shopping cart are changed such as the vendor or the description.
The workflow determines if the cart should be passed back to the requestor based on the approve_or_reject flag in the approval task container. This variable is set to 4 when the price is changed, but 0 if other attributes are changed.
The security level for the approver to 'High' so that the workflow does not restart.
Is there any way to control what changes to the shopping cart will cause the workflow to create the task for the requestor.

What I am saying is that I want the workflow to continue and it is. This is not the issue. I am happy with the way that the security level is working.
The issue is that I would like the workflow to send a task to the requisitioner for ANY change that is made to the shopping cart. The standard solution will only send a notification to the requisition if a change is made to the value of the cart.
We need to pick up all changes such as the description or the vendor.
If you look at workflow WS14000134 you will see that after the approval step there is a decision step that will route the workflow to the notification to creator task or by-pass it. This is based on a variable that is set by the approval task. If the value is changed the value is set to 4, but if the vendor is changed then the value remains as 0.
The question here is 'Can we influence the way that this approval state variable is set?'

    Hi All,
I am facing an issue in Integration environment. It is working fine in Dev.
Even if the security level at user details is defined as "Low" (2), user is not able to change the shopping cart in approval status (via Check Status, in case of requester or via Approver Inbox, in case of approver).
Change button is not appearing in the check status.
I checked following SDN blog but this is not helpful as it is working fine in Dev environment witout deactivating this BADI or implementing it as detailed in this blog.
