  • Error in creating follow-on documents after shopping cart is approved

    Hi,
After the shopping cart has  been approved by the concerned approver and the when the staus is checked in the check status application , it shows 1 error in process i.e. no follow-on document is created in doing so.
    Thanks and regards
    Sachin

    Dear Sanjay,
Thanks for the reply. I have made all the settings , but I am getting an error in the check status application for the shopping cart that has been approved.
Well first instead of getting into the PO that are created in the backend system, let us consider the documents that are to be created as a result of categories that are local. I have maintained a range for local PO's.
I need to know whether any extra procedure needs to be carried out so that PO be created i.e I am not using the sourcing application as of yet and presume that the
POs are created (i.e. the follow-on documents are created on it's own,) .
I have my own local purchasing group for an organisation. It there are any setting please let me
know. PLease note that I am getting the same error as for ones while shooping cart that involve backend systems.
    Thanks and regards

  • What are the function modules to create a follow on documents for SC

Could any one please tell me What are the function modules ( like PO , Preq ...)  to create a follow on documents for Shopping Cart?
    Thanks
    Murali

    Murali,
That depends on what scenario you've got implemented.
    Classic scenario: FM BBP_REQREQ_TRANSFER
    Extended classic: FM BBP_PD_PO_CREATE

  • Scoping Question on follow-up documents for Sales Quotes

One of the scoping questions in the "Integration into Sales, Service, and Marketing Processes" in the Customer Quotes section asks:
"Do you want to create follow-up documents for sales quotes from your cloud solution to an external application?"
See screenshot with the arrow cursor below:
What follow-up documents is this referring ?
Would be related to creating Sales Orders in the ERP ?
What other followup documents could there be ?  The Help text was not very clear.

    Hi Tim,
On creating the sales quote in C4C, request can be triggered to ERP system for Sales Order Request.
Once Sales Order gets created in the ERP system, 'Sales Order Request' and 'Sales Order' documents can be captured in C4C.

  • New document type for shopping cart /PO

    Hi Gurus,
I have created a new transaction type ZSHC for Shopping carts in SRM. I have given it a new  number range.
while creating a shopping cart , how do i ensure that my shopping carts get created with this transaction type?
is there any attribute which controls this ?
    Regards,
    Mangesh

    Thanks Shrini for your response.
BADI "BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW" does not exist in SRM 4.0. The corresponds BADI in SRM 4.0 is "BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK".
The documentation of this BADI says that it can be used to change all data TRANSFERRED TO THE BACKEND SYSTEM to create a purchase order.
I would want the document type to be selected when the PO is created in SRM and not when SRM transfers the PO to the backend. Because in that case I fear that SRM can have one doucment type and R/3 would end up having different document type for same PO.
I will activate the BADI and keep the thread posted.
    Thanks

  • Problem in creating follow-on document (RFQ) for a bid invitation.

    Hi Experts,
We have an issue while creating follow-on document(RFQ) for a bid invitation.
    Process is as follows :
We have a bid invitation and sent it to two vendors. After this, created two responses one is accepted and another one is rejected.
Now the accepted bid is ready to "Create follow-on Document(RFQ)". But when we do this, the bid with rejected vendor also including in the follow-on document. This should not be the case.
The follow-on document should include only the accepted bid, but not the rejected bid.
Could anyone tell me how to achieve this ?
Thank you very much in advance.

As far as I understand, what you described is the standard behavior. ALL undeleted vendors are copied over to the follow-on RFQ regardless if their bids have been rejected or not. What you can do is to implement BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI for BUS2200 and explicitly remove the vendors which created rejected bids. Make use of the header field "copy_of_guid" to identify the originated RFQ.

  • Unable to create a PO from a shopping cart in classic scenerio

    Hi Experts,
I tried creating a PO from the Shopping cart, but i am getting an error Number range 70 doesnt exist. Whereas
when i tried creating a PO from Rfx, PO is getting created. Can somebody suggest what would have went wrong.
    Regards,
    Santhosh

    Hi Santosh,
It could be possible that the number ranges are not defined or altered. Please check the path in SPRO(in SRM) for the number range of backend follow-on-documents.
IMG : Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM server-> Cross Application Basic Settings->Number Ranges-> SRM server number ranges->Define Number ranges for shopping carts and follow on documents.
Please check if number ranges are maintained properly for PO. After maintaining the details, try to push the shopping cart again. Check in RZ20 for the error details further(if it occurs again).
    Hope it helps.

  • Deadline monitoring for Shopping Cart

    Hi Experts,
I am working on SRM 7.0 process controlled workflows.
Activated the deadline monitoring for shopping cart but I am getting the below error:
Work item 000000073752: Object /SAPSRM/CL_WF_EVENT_ADAPTER method TRIGGER_EVENT cannot be execute
    Please help to solve this.
    Thanks,
    Sangeeta

    Hello,
To find the cause you will need to debug:
For testing you can call  the method
    /SAPSRM/CL_WF_EVENT_ADAPTER -> TRIGGER_EVENT
Take the following parameters from the document wfl log:
    IV_DOCUMENT_GUID IV_DOCUMENT_GUID
    IV_DOCUMENT_TYPE IV_DOCUMENT_TYPE
    IV_EVENT IV_EVENT
    IV_EVENT_SUB_CATEGORY
    IV_WORKITEM_ID
    IV_DOCUMENT_ID
Before to start debugging, set a beark point in CL_BBP_MESSAGE_CREATE -> execute
Here you can find why the alert method is not been able to be executed.
Probably you are passing some wrong parameter.. Do you use Badis BBP_OUTPUT_CHANGE_SF or BBP_ALERT.. try to deactivate these Badis and retest.
    Thanks,
    Melina

  • Process Controlled WF for Shopping Cart

    Hi,
We have implemented process controlled workflow for shopping cart approval.
    1. Created a bespoke schema for the approval process
    2. Defined 5 process levels in the schema
    3. changed the BRF event at the schema evaluation level. It now
contains a constant with the name of new schema create in step 1.
    4. Decision set used is item based approval for partial documents (Type 4)
    4. The first process level is get the technical approval from bespoke
table based on material group. For that we have first created a
    Responsibility Resolver Name - ZTECHNICAL_APPROVER.
We have implemented the BADI - /SAPSRM/BD_WF_RESP_RESOLVER. Assigned
the filter as BUS2121 and ZTECHNICAL_APPROVER.
    5. Now we have placed the external debugger in BADi. when we create
the shopping cart the flow doesn't stop at the break point. The item
reaches to the last step of Automatic approval (Rejected).
    6. We think that schema is getting evaluated, however the process
    level is not getting called.
    7. Before we created schema, all the carts wer getting "Approved" by
automatic step. In our schema the automatic step is "Rejected", hence
    the carts are getting rejected.
Could you please let me know what could be reason for BADI
implementation not being called or is there any config step which we
    are missing?

    Hi,
I think your process level evaluation id is not true, that is the reason system skips the process level.. Can you check your evaluation event-expression code. What do you see in SLG1?  For testing purpose change the evaluation id to 0EV000 and check. Make Sure you debug through the user(requester) that you are creating the SC. Please test and let me know...

  • Check status for Shopping Cart to include F-53 postings

    Dear SRM GURUS
we are following a classic scenarios and SRM version 4.0 where in we create a shopping cart in SRM and a  purchase Req is created in backend and based on that we create a Purchase Order and do a Goods receipts and Invoice Booking in MIRO in R3.
When we check the status of shopping cart we are able to view all in SRM check status for shopping cart.
Now my requiremnt is that when after MIRO in R/3 we run F-53  for payement to vendor.
Whether this can be displayed in the shopping cart check status that as to when actual payement was made to the vendor through F-53.

  • Error in posting Inventory documents for a serialized material

    hi.,
Can someone update me the reason for:
    1. Error in posting inventory documents for a serialized material
What are the steps to be followed during the
    1. Creation of Serialized material
    2. Creating a Purchase document for a serialized material
    3. Generating a G/R for a serialized material.
    4. Generating an inventory document for a serialized material.
    Any update is much appreciated.
    Tx.
    Mahesh

    Hello Mahesh,
Let me try to answer your queries.
<b>1. Generally, how does the flow of Cycle counting go w.r.t to the Indicators A.B.C and D which has been configured in OMCO.
Would that be as per the Consumption/usage of the materials?</b>
The following link will help to understand the cycle count process
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/4d/2b8e3d43ad11d189410000e829fbbd/frameset.htm
<b>2. How are the indicators of A,B,C,D to be set up for the other materials in the particular plant which have not been fixed as CC.</b>
If you run the MIBC (Set ABC indicator) report, it will automatically set the ABC indicator based on your selection parameter.
<b>3. How does the system take up the inventory count for materials that have not been flagged as CC Fixed.</b>
Cycle counting inventory will be carried out only for the material with ABC indicator for cycle count, if you exclude the material from MIBC report or manual ABC setting then that material will not be considered under cycle count when you execute MICN report to create cycle count inventory doc.
<b>4. How does the sytem take up the inventory count for materials for materials which have been flagged as Fixed.</b>
Material with CC fix indicator means when MIBC report will not change CC indicator for that material with fix indicator, so when you run MICN report at that time system will take last inventory date from MARD table for that material and calculate the next due date based on ABC indicator in material.
    Hope this helps.

  • Creating an Accounting Document for Invoice

We cannot create an accounting document for Invoice. There is no problem in account determination procedure. I've tried to clear in VFX3, but gives me an error message that says  "express document 'update was terminated' received from author.
After analysis the error being reported is:
"M2 012: Error determining posting period (info structure S010).Function module is MCV_STATISTICS_UPD_V1_INVOICE     V1 NORMAL
Can you suggest how we can post/Release to Accounts?

    Hi Narendra
Go to T-code MCVV. In this case since the doc is not created it will not work.
Is there an ST22 dump. if yes put a break point there.
Check SM13 and you can see the here where the update fails. Apply break point there.
Go to MC26 and enter S010 and check if any update rules exisit. in one of the formulas you need to put a break point.then go back to VF01 and then before you hit the save enter /h in the command box to go into debug mode.
Once in debug mode Follow the menu path Setings--->update debug on/off.Debug and see why the update is failing.

  • SRM 7.0 Modify POWL for shopping cart - Additional Field PR

    Hello,
in standard POWL for Shopping Cart it is possible to filter Carts with "Order No. from ERP".
Now we need also to add a new search field for "Purchase Requisition", that the user has both possibilites to filter for backend follow-up documents.
    How could this been done?
Do we need to copy and change the feeder class for this or can is be done via Customizing?
I think the problem is, that in table BBP_PDBEI there is only one column for backend-document number (BE_OBJECT_ID) and next to is there is a column that defines the BUS Type, e.g. order or PR.
Do we need to adjust the feeder class to look in this table for the BE_OBJECT_ID with "BUS2105"?
    Thanks for your help!
    Regards Trevor

    Hi Trevor.
If you wish to extend the POWL you could use the information in the note 1456308 to perform this extension and what additional extensions need to be added.
