Unfortunately I dont access to my BW system today. So I do not know the exact conv routine for 0MATERIAL.
You can instead try this: Go to the transfer rules and for the 0MATERIAL info-object check the check-box for Conversion. Then retry the load.
Hopefully it should work.

This type of error occures due to lack of memory in server or no process is available for request process.

RFC to JDBC Scenario ( Error in Date Transformation ) Urgent!!!

HI All,
         I am trying a RFC to JDBC scenario where I am taking date from SAP in SAP Format i.e. 'yyyyMMdd' & sending this to oracle DB Where the format is 'MM/dd/yyyy'.
        In Runtime Workbench I am getting Following error: 'java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01843: not a valid month'.
        Also when I am testing that source message in message mapping source date is converting to some other date at receiver side.
        Can anybody help me on this.

I am using the datetrans function of graphical mapping for doing the transformation. I have specified the source format as 'yyyyMMdd' & the target format as 'MM/dd/yyyy'.
I have checked the input & output XML structure, but still i am getting the same error of Not a valid Month.
Value of date I am passing is '2006-05-17' & the output I get is '05/12/2005' in Message mapping test using the XML which we are getting from SAP in MONI.

What type of data you want to extract from the system
1. If you want to take the list of Sales Orders for year 2007, based on customer, sales org and Material
use T.Code VA05 and give all the inputs, then you will get thelist of sales orders.
2. If you want to take the header information or Item information for the list of sales orders for year 2007
Use T.Code SE16
Table VBAK (Sales Document Header information)
Table VBAP (Sales Document Item Information)
You can give all the information which you want to give and give the time peirod in Created on field and execute the same.

Error in Data Extraction for Asset Accouting Data Source

Hi all,
We have install the new flow of the Asset Accounting i.e 0FI_AA_20 data source. We are trying to load the data in BW. The problem is the volume of data is so high. Around 35 lacs records.
I am getting below error while loading in the BW.
"Error 7 when sending an IDoc"
"No more storage space available for extending an i 3 "

Hi Macwan James,
Not only the requests from DS to which you are loading data. You can delete the requests from other DS--> manage screens also if they are no longer required.
Or else use selection screen of Infopackage to load the data. Change the selections & try to load the data.

Open data extraction orders - Applying Support Packs

Dear All,
I have done the IDES 4.6C SR2 installation.
While updating the support packs, i get the message saying
CHECK_REQUIREMENTS phase.
Open data extraction orders
There are still open data extraction orders in the system
process these before the start of the object import because changes to the ABAP Dictionary structures could lead to data extraction orders not being able to be read after the import and their processing terminating
For more details about this problem, see Note 328181.
Go to the Customizing cockpit for data extraction and start the processing of all open extraction orders.
I have checked the Note.
But this is something m facing for the first time.
Any suggestion!!!

i checked listed note and implemented the same but still its showing me something in LBWE. i deleted all setup data for all the application data using tcode LBWG but its still showing in LBWE tcode.

Diagnosis
Changing the extract structure for application 04 is not permitted, because the restructure table MC04P_0ARBSETUP for the extractor still contains data in 800.
You cannot change the structure in this status, because when you load an InfoPackage from BW, this leads to errors.
Procedure
Delete the entries for all restructure tables for application 04.
Any reply will be highly appreciated.

R/3 SP Import:Open data Extraction requests Error

We are getting the below error when Basis doing the upgrade support packeage in R/3 source system.

Intially we have cleared the entries in LBWQ,RSA7 and SM13.But after clearing these entries also we are getting the same above error.
For support package upgrade in R/3 do we need to delete the SETUP table also in production environment?.
Is there any other way around without deleting the setup table to upgrade support package in R/3 system?
Please help us with your inputs urgently..

Thanks Siggi for the suggestion.
We have already cleared the v3 updates by running RMBWV* job manually.After clearing all the entries in LBWQ,RSA7 and SM13 still we have got the same above error.
When we imported In R/3 development system after deleting the setup table we didn't get the above error.But we are concerned about deleting the setup table in production system
though already deltas are running fine.
Is there any other way around? or deleting the setup table is the only option?

Error in Data Transfer Process (DTP) Urgent!

Hi,
ive encountered an error in uploading data from R3 using DTP in a specific cube and it says "Exceptions in Subset: Load and Generation" and "Dump: ABAP/4 processor: MESSAGE_TYPE_X", how can i fix this problem? is there any problem with the upgrade process of our system or in KERNEL? and what is KERNEL? Please help me guys.....

'Error 8 occurred when starting the data extraction program'

Hello Experts,
I am trying to pull master data (Full upload) for a attribute. I am getting an error on BW side i.e. 'The error occurred in Service API .'
So I checked in Source system and found that the an IDOC processing failure has occurred. The failure shows 'Error 8 occurred when starting the data extraction program'.
But when I check the extractor through RSA3, it looks fine.
Can someone inform what might be the reason of the failure for IDOC processing and how can this be avoided in future. Because the same problem kept occurring later as well.

Chk the idocs from SM58 of source system are processing fine into ur target system(BI system)...?
Chk thru Sm58 and give all * and target destination as ur BI system and execute and chk any entries pending there?

Invalid data status error during the data extraction

Hi,
while extracting capacity data from the SNP Capacity view to BW. i get the "invalid data status error" and the data extraction fails.
when debugged the bad requests of the ODS object, i found that for a certain product(which has both positive and negative input and out qtys) co-product manufacturing orders were created. but this product was not marked as the co-product and functionally its fine.
how can i rectify the data extraction problem..can you advice.

Hi Gurus,
We are doing HR data extraction with the following details:
Cube: 0PT_C01 - Time and Labor
data source: 0HR_PT_1 - Times from personal work schedule
Records in ECC: 15mill +.
"Init load with Data "is being loaded in packets of 40K records (400 packets approx).
Each time we load (we tried reloading after deleting data and reinit) it is loading same records. But it is giving the following error. Surprisingly this error is coming for different packets in different loads. for ex: 1st time packet 6...2nd time packet 58....3rd time 122 etc.....it keeps changing...

Error when generating the update program
Diagnosis
An error occurred during program generation for InfoSource 0HR_PT_1 and
InfoProvider 0PT_C01 . This may be extrapolated to incorrect update
rules.
Procedure
Check and correct your update rules and then generate the update program
again. You can find help on the error in the error log.
We reactivated and verfieid update rules. But no use.
Appreciate any kind of help.

Thanks for the help.
We tried the following one by one.
1. Delete and recreate update rules. To be frank....there is no CODING or complication in there...
     It did not work.
2. Tried loading only to PSA. It loaded 15mill records perfectly. But when we tried updating target cube,
    same story with many more errors.....earlier we had 10 packages failed out of 387.......
     this time almost every alternate package is marked red and same error....update generating update
     program.....
Hope somebody will come up with a solution.

I rebuild the report using a tabular form and populated the primary key with a PL/SQL expression and now it appears to be working. P1_ISSUE_NO is the primary key on the issue table and I could not figure how to get it in the issue_no field of the tabular report when a new line was entered I ended up putting the following code in for the default for
issue_no on the report:
Begin
return :P1_ISSUE_NO;
end
It works great.
