Error in refreshing materialised view

Could anyone help me with this error?
When I am trying to refresh this materialised view, I am getting this error.
Materialised view is built properly.

I included below code in my procedure which will get called from a concurrent program from Oralce Application (11.5.10.2). When I run this refresh command from SQL/TOAD it is working but erroring out (Error: ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement) when the same getting called from a concurrent program. Please suggest me how to refresh a Materialized View through a concurrent program...

Materialised view not getting refreshed.

I have created a Materialised view which looks at the master tables in another database... using a DB link. I use to have the refresh force option in the materialised view.. I recieve no error messages when I create DB link, create Mview and I can refresh the Mview manually.. but the auto refresh is not happening... for some reason.. Database version is 10.2.0.1 Standard Edition on Solaris 10 OS.
Below are the scripts I have used to create DB link and MView... Please do let me know if I am missing any detail.. in particular.. what could be the issue/miss here thats avoiding the auto refresh of MView.

If the two MVs have to be consistent with each other as of a specific time, put them into a Refresh Group and refresh them with DBMS_MVIEW.REFRESH
If an MV is dependent on another, use DBMS_MVIEW.REFRESH_DEPENDENT

Error when Refresh Data on Webi from Infoview with Preferred viewing locale

Hi,
I am getting an error -"An internal error occured while calling 'processDPCommands' API. (Error:ERR_WIS_30270).
All the universes are translated to German using Translation Manager. I get the above error only when ' Preferred viewing locale' is set to 'German' otherwise the Refresh Data button works fine when the Preferred vieiwng locale is 'Use browser locale'.
As per the note 1352299 the settings on the Webintelligenceprocessingserver from CMC is adjusted and the heapsize is also adjusted but still the issue is coming up.
Could anyone please help to resolve this error.

I have faced this problem earlier and took lot of time for Root Cause Analysis and fixed the issue.
Root Cause for some of the objects not being translated is provided below:
If two objects has same translation in German, obviously Universe will not progress further for translation.
for e.g.
Objects in English and German
1.Country -> de county
2.Land -> de county
from the above example, two distinct objects in English have same German translation which makes Universe not accepting the duplicate objects within the same class.
Similarly, you need to figure out these duplicates at Class/Object/Condition/Hierarchy levels in translated XLIFF file.
Duplicates can be identified by opening XLIFF file in Excel and use Data Filters etc... This is a manual task.
Then for identified duplicates provide Other names in XLIFF file such that Universe accepts them.
For e.g. the above scenario can be solved by adding a trailing space to the 2nd translated object. Adding space is best option because meaning will not be changed w.r.t end user there by eliminating duplicates.

Insufficient priv error when creating a materialised view using DB link!!!!

I have a two databases db1 and db2.
I have created a database link from db2 to access user1 schema in db1.
When i try to create a materialised view by accessing user1 table using user 'user2' in db2 database, i get error "ORA-1031: Insufficient Privilege".
The user2 has the priviliges "create view", "create any view", "create materialised view" etc.
I am able to select data, of the table using the database link, but creating materialised view gives this error.
I want to know if the user "user1" should be granting any privilige to user2, if so how is it possible as user2 dosent exist in db1!
i.e should i give command something like "grant select on user1.table to user2@db2"(this dosent work as it says user2@db2 dosent exist, obviously as its taking user2@db2 as a username in db1 schema)
or is this a problem with user2 priviliges in db2 database, if so what are all the priviliges that have to be given to user2 in db2 schema.

User from db1 can not assign any privs to user on db2 database. If user from db1 want to access any object from db2 database, then on local level user2 on db2 should have all the acess to required object. Then you can use user2 on db2 using dblink from db1 user to access those objects residing on remote database.
If user1 from db1 can grant privs to user2 on db2 database on any objects on db2 database then it is highly security issue. This is not permitted.

I created log's also on that tables(emp,dept)

It will be possible to create a Materialised view with up to 20 tables, but you have to understand the restrictions on complex Materialised views with regards to fast refresh.

I'd appreciate if someone could shine some light on an issue I'm having with a materialised view.
I inherited this when I came into my current project, so before you ask me why tables are not partitioned or why a MV is being used for such a scenario, the answer is I don't know!!
Anyway ... I'm using "Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - Prod" running on SUSE ...
There are a number of normalised tables two of which contain in the region of 400million rows each and tend to grow at the rate of 27000 rows per day.
There's a materialised view (for the purposes of providing fast interactive reporting) that is setup as a normal join between 4 tables; the above two and the other two are just basic dictionary type lookups each containing around 100 or so rows.
SELECT .... FROM LargeTable1, LargeTable2, Lookup3, Lookup4 WHERE Lookup3.ID=LargeTable1.LID and LargeTable2.ID=LargeTable1.ID and LargeTable2.LID=Lookup4.ID ;
Running a FULL refresh on the MV failes with a 'ora-01555 snapshot too old' error after about 5 days!! Then takes around the same amount of time to rollback. Can't do a FAST refresh, I think because logs and/or mv indecies are out of sync.
Table space is 63% full and undo space is set to auto-extend.
I've tried /*+RULE */ but that doesn't seem to make a huge difference.
Why does it take so long? Why does it fail? What can I do to speed it up?

You should approach this as a SQL tuning exercise, without the ability to change the query itself.
Are table statistics up to date? Look at the execution plan – does it look reasonable for you? Are there any indexes that can help? (I am thinking covering indexes on the large tables …)

Refresh Materialized View in a process.
I have a USER2.Materialized view and when I want to refresh it I execute:
execute dbms_mview.refresh('MV_FACT_SALES','C');
But I have the ETL process in a USER1.package
The User1 needs any Materialized View Grant or any privilegie?
How can I refresh the Materialized View in a procedure in the USER1.package?

Error when refreshing WEBI report with Universe Connection Type "SSO"

Hi Experts:
We are trying to refresh the Webi report in Infoview with Universe Connection set as "Use Single Sign On when refreshing the report at view time", so that we can leverage SAP OLAP authorization variable from Bex Query which the Universe is built on.
However got the error of "incomplete logon data" after all the configurations done following below blogs:

- AD Account: service.test.bobj (all lower-letters)
- 32-bit gsslib on the BO server, and 64 bit on the BW server side.
- SNC0: p:service.test.bobj at DOMAIN
- SU01 --> BO_Service ; SNC: p:service.test.bobj at DOMAIN
- Entitlement system tab --> username: BO_Service
SNC Name: p:service.test.bobj at DOMAIN
- SNC settings tab:
SNC Lib: c:\winnt\gsskrb5.dll
Mutual Authentication settings: p:SAPServiceBP0 at DOMAIN
In CMC, the role can be imported if "RFC activated" option unchecked in SNC0.

Sorry for taking so long to reply, we are trying to set up server side trust and enable SSO; but we still couldn't success.
What we did is:
1. We followed installation guide chapter 6, generate certificate and PSE, etc. All looks good.
2. Then we still have the "incomplete logon data" error when refreshing webi report after logon using Windows AD user ID.
3. Then we trace the PFC connection, the log is as below. We checked several BO notes, e.g. 1500150, 1461247.. The part bothers us is that we even don't have URI displayed in the log when system trying to use SNC, and we couldn't get more info on this which make us very difficult to diagnosis.

Hi,
While refreshing the WEBI Reports would recommend you check the WEBI PROCESSING Server's last changed date from CMC--> Servers.
Check when you are refreshing the reports, do you see the time stamp changed of WEBI PROCESSING servers?
Do you keep getting this error messages for all WEBI reports? Can you re-produce this with simple e-fashion reports as well?
After that go to the node where WEBI PROCESSING servers installed and check on the event viewer details if you see any relevant error messages.
