Error "No changes in WBS possible as budget is activated"

Hi all,
While creating new WBS element in exiting project, system giving error " no changes in WBS possible as budget is activated"
Due to this we need to deactive the AVAC to add WBS element in exiting project. Again run CJBN t.code to activate the AVAC.
I also checked user status. There is no user status which can restrict to create WBS.
Pl guide. What are the possibilites?

We used same status profile to project def and WBS.
In status profile we defined status
1) ZWBS. It is initial status. In this status, following business tranction are controlled
Partially confirm WBS       forbidden
Partially release project    forbidden
Release                            forbidden
Write budget line items    allowed
Write plan line items        allowed
and
2)ZAPR. In this status, following business tranction are controlled
released   allowed.
I am not getting why the system is not allowing to create new wbs element in exiting project.
Pl suggest the possibilities.

Budget Exceeded error while changing in Account Assignment

Hi,
The user is facing an error while changing the Accounts assignment category to "Assets" in a PR. The PR was created with AAC as "U" for all the line items. The user is changing that to "A". After that he provides the asset number then the error is coming as below:
Item 010 Order 0809/A15 budget exceeded
Message no. BP604
Diagnosis
In document item 010 Order 0809/A15, budget for fiscal year 2010 was exceeded by 6,630.00 INR.
The valuation price for that particular line item is Rs 6630.00. I have not changed the other line items.
Need the suggestion.

I think there some settings in Budgeting, n Finance people are more familiar with those settings. Normally, if u craete a Purchasing doc. PR or PO or GR/ IR from MM side, with account assnt., the relevant budget()which is created for that commitment item) will updated with the document value. There may be settings with delivery date or so. check with your FI guys

Error Message: Change of update mode not possible due to open V3 update

Hi Gurus,
I got error message when i change update mode (LBWE) from V3 to Direct or Queued delta method.
Error Message: Change of update mode not possible due to open V3 update
Long text: You are not allowed to change the update mode for application 11 from V3 to another method. This is because there are still V3 update entries for update module MCEX_UPDATE_11 that have not been processed yet.
Pls anyone give solution for this.

i did check in all the below Tcode as you adviced.
1. Clear all record at SM13, LBWQ / SMQ1, Setup tables, RSA7 for particular datsasource or application..
2. For LBWQ provide date range and delete not required records.
I did not get the 3rd point " Need to clear in CLINTS of R/3 system" of your reply.
what does that mean?
I checked all the above tcodes and got the same message as no queue or data exists".
I went SBIW tcode and activated my data source and try to change the Update mode but still it is throwing error message as "Change of update is not possible due to open V3"
Please help me out.
It will be very helpful for me if you could share steps or docs regarding this issue.

Document Contains Errors. Approval is not Possible.

I have a SC approval that errored out when coming back to SRM. We run RBBP_OFFLINE_EVAL program periodically throughout the day to pick up offline approvals from users. In the spool list, I see this message:
Document Contains Errors. Approval is not Possible. And the system gives me the WI ID, SC # and the object type BUS2121.
I've never seen such an error before. The document here...is it referring to the approval email itself? We instruct our users to not edit the approval email in any way. They just have to click on the approval link and click on Send in Outlook. I don't know if the document it's referring to is the SC or the approval email.
Can anyone help?

You are right. This error is the issue. To answer your other question why this message was not raised earlier;the problem could be that at the time of sc creation, there might be sufficient budget. But because your shopping cart was in approval for some time, it is possible that some more shopping carts have been raised with the same WBS and got approved. This would reduce the overall budget available. When the shopping cart is approved, one more check is done by the system and this time there was no sufficient budget.Hence the error is displayed. Only option for you now would be to ask FI people to increase budget or resubmit the cart by changing the value of the shopping cart.

Change of WBS Element

Hi,
i am checking the all tabs of WBS Element in CJ20N, while checking unfortunately one character of WBS Element was missed & saved accordingly.
Old : 09/ITS/CN/IT/T09
New: 9/ITS/CN/IT/T09
Now user is trying to settle 09/ITS/CN/IT/T09 in CJ88, it showing the error as WBS does not exist.
again i tried to change as 09/ITS/CN/IT/T09 in CJ20N. but it is showing the error as below.
WBS element 09/ITS/CN/IT/T09 version RELEASED already exists
Message no. CJ026
Diagnosis
A WBS element with the name 09/ITS/CN/IT/T09 already exists in version RELEASED.

Procedure
Enter another name for the WBS element.
now how can i replace the correct WBS Element, Please suggest me any solution is possible.

There are other options available to you, to resolve this issue.
Firstly, you can manually delete the WBS Element from the table
VSPRPS_CN. There is no report to remove individual records from this
table.
Alternatively, please review note 616732.
This report renames the WBS Element within the table VSPRPS_CN. You
could rename this WBS Element in VSPRPS_CN allowing you to recreate the
operative WBS Element.
Again customers are advised to contact regional support when running the
report ZVERSION_UPDATE to be informed of the following.

Payroll area change is not possible

Hi,
When we are doing promotion action, i.e, one paryoll area to another paryoll area, In actions whatever the date we are giving is taking, but when come to org assignment it is not allowing to save with that date and throwing error " payroll area change is not possible at the end of payroll period"
For example: In Actions start date is 04.01.2010, in org assign is not allowing to save the entry with that date, but if we give 01.01.2010, it is allowing to save the record. As paryroll period is starting of the month to end of the month, that is the reason it allowing the start date of the month in org assign, but user wants the record from his desired date..
Please help me on the issue.

Canada (country grouping 07), the United States (10), South Africa (16), Mexico (32), Taiwan (42), Finland (44), and Spain (04)

System Error u0096 Restart is Not Possible!

Hi guys,
I have a sync scenario that calls an http service. When the http service is not available (down) the message in the monitor has a sys error status and the restart is not possible. With an identical scenario, but async, the status is also system error but Manual Restart is possible.
My question is: this is a typical behavior for sync http scenarios? I would like to be able to restart this message, is it possible?

Thanks for your quick response.
Im using these sync calls under a BPM and I found a way to reprocess this messages in system error. So, in Message Monitor open the PE and over the task in error (ex. send step) open the work item and go to EDIT menu, in EDIT menu press change and you will see on the left side Services for Administration and something like reprocess after error, press the execute button and the sync calls is restarted.
I believe without BPM is not possible restart sync calls, but with BPM it is

Activation not possible: the budget category 9F is not used in FM area

Dear Friends,
When i am configuration in "Define Activation of availability control" than system is showing below error message.

Hi Pankaj,
Just as a hint, for budget you use ledgers 9A and 9B. In AVC you dont use 9A and 9B, you use 9F and 9G but they are linked together.
BUDGET                   AVC
9A              =              9F       FOR PAYMENTS
9B              =              9G       FOR COMMITMENTS.
You must customize your system to have 9F because it seems to be that you have defined 9A already.

Functional area change at WBS level

Hi Experts,
I just want know the possibility of functional area change at WBS level.
If we assign Functional area at project level, can we change functional area of WBS?
if it is possible then is it possible to assign/change functional area of WBS after releasing the same?

Hi Surej,
FA in project is in Basic tab and FA in WBS is in Assignement tab. Both functional area for Project or WBSes could be different. All this functional area could be changed. However, please note if you changed the FA once the data is posted into the WBS, the system will give a warning message not to change the FA. This FA in master data is to ease data entry. The FA will be copied over to FA area field during data entry. In fact, you can change the FA during data entry.

Error after changing password in Discoverer Viewer (11.1.1.4)

I (and all other users) get the below error after changing the password used to login to Discoverer Viewer...

We also see this same error when attempting to Create a Connection in Oracle BI Discoverer 11g. I am able to connect to a database but not able to save a connection to said database....

i hav prob. while changing base unit of measure system gives error massage is material used in BOM, ECM is activated in our system and that material is showing only when valid from date is not entered othervise that material is not shown in BOM.how to remove that material from so i can change base unit of measure.

You can only change the BUM if there is no stock production order planned orders reservations, PO s etc are not in the system there should be no transaction of the material ,after ensuring all this, u can change unit of measure

I get an error while changing modules pop up when opening Lr. There is no import button to use and if I try to load the default catalog I get the error message again essentially making Lr completely unusable for me! please help

When launching Lr i get the initial screen to come up followed by an "error while changing modules" pop up. I have uninstalled and re-downloaded, followed all the suggested trouble shooting fixes and still nothing. When the app starts it has the basic info boxes but without any options in them (i.e. no import button or any buttons at all for that matter).All my other creative cloud apps seem to be working fine but Lr won't. You'll need to reinstall Reader if the libraries aren't registered. You can't register them manually.
Perhaps if you posted some of your code (where it creates the objects, etc.) we might be able to give you some more advice. You're sure you aren't trying to use anything outside of the AxAcroPDFLib.AxAcroPDF class?

It sounds like you were using your Wi-Fi network from your Airport base station and the connection cut out. You have reset the password on the device but the issue persists. I would try the 3 resets outlined in the following article in order to help resolve the issue. If it persists, is the Wi-Fi connection issue happening on more than one device or computer?
