Error: "No JDK_HOME_PATH defined for key 'JDK1.4.2_HOME'" when local build

Hello SDN!
I want to build CRM ISA 5.0 application locally thru NWDS. This application uses Development Component technology. In the NWDI server track for this application has a build variant "default" with key "com.sap.jdk.home_path_key" and value for this key "JDK1.4.2_HOME".
When I try to build it locally I've got an error:

Error: Build stopped due to an error: No JDK_HOME_PATH defined for key 'JDK1.4.2_HOME'
I've created system environment variables JDK_HOME_PATH, JAVA_HOME and JDK1.4.2_HOME pointed to C:\j2sdk1.4.2_17. In NWDS parameter "Installed JREs" pointed to C:\j2sdk1.4.2_17. Nothing effect.
How to build this application locally?
Regards, Lev

Hi All,
the JDK_1.4.2_HOME must be set not as an environment variable or a VM parameter, but it must be set for the CBS service.
See the guide which -- among others -- also covers this:
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/7014086d-3fd9-2910-80bd-be3417810c6f
- On 640/700 you can reach the CBS service settings from the Visual Admin.
- as of 710 you find it here:
http://<host>:<port>/nwa u2013 Configuration Management u2013 Infrastructure u2013 Java System Properties u2013 Component Build Service
(notice the SAP note: #1451364 - Modification of CBS service properties disabled in NWA
http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1451364)
Some further hints:
- BUILD_TOOL_JDK_HOME = <path to highest JDK>
- JDK_HOME_PATHS = JDK1.3.1_HOME=<path of jdk131>;JDK1.4.2_HOME=<path of jdk142>;JDK1.5.0_HOME=<path of jdk150>JDK1.6.0_HOME=<path of jdk160>;default=<path of the JDK as default>
Some simple rules with examples:
- for BUILD_TOOL_JDK_HOME you simply enter the path to your JDK, e.g.: /opt/IBMJava2-amd64-142
- for JDK_HOME_PATHS you have to follow the scheme "key=value" e.g.: JDK_1.4.2_HOME=/opt/IBMJava2-amd64-142
- for BUILD_TOOL_JDK_HOME you always specify the highest JDK,
- for JDK_HOME_PATHS you list the available JDKs.
- JRE is not allowed, specify always JDK!

Ervin

  • SharePoint Error "The security validation for this page is invalid" when delete an item

    Hi,
I have SharePoint 2010 setup and works fine until today all of a sudden it throws error "The security validation for this page is invalid" when delete a SharePoint document or list item.
There is no custom event handler deployed on library/list, and it should not be account issue as the same account works yesterday, and even after I turn off security validation from Central Admin, it still doesn't work.
The only change I did is turn off Dynamic Compression from IIS, after that I tried enable back Dynamic Compression but it still doesn't work.
Does anyone know what could be the possible reasons? Thanks in advance.

  • Goods Issue error - batches not defined for delivery item

    Hi,
We are getting a Goods Issue error  u201CThe batches are not defined for delivery item 000010u201D.   We are only getting this error for a material that is being shipped against a particular third party sales scheduling agreement.  We went live in 2007 and we had no issues, but when we had to create a new Sched Agreement this year, for third party sales, we started to get this error.  However, if we re-activate the old scheduling agreement we do not get the error.  We have a batch job that executes the following steps:
    1.     VL06IG (collective goods receipt)
    2.     VL10 (collective delivery)
    3.     VL06O (collective GI)
We have compared the 2 scheduling agreements and see no difference.  We are assuming it has something to do with how the scheduling agreement was setup, but are not sure.  Any suggestions on how to correct this problem would be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Helen

    Dear Murali,
The material has not changed at all.  I'm not sure what you mean by maintaining batches while receipt of the material.
If I re-open the old scheduling agreement, we do not get the error message.  However, as soon as we use the new SD scheduling agreement, we get the error.  We are using the same material master on both scheduling agreements.
    Thanks,
    Helen

    Hi Eswar,
I think you have not extended the Purchasing view for that material.
Goto MM01 and select the material 150 then select the Purchasing view for the Organizational level (plant).
Or check the Procurement type in MRP2 view for that material.
Check the cross Plant material status in Basic data 1 & Purchasing view for that material, whether the material is blocked for any procurement.
Check all these you will find the solution.

i have followed the steps as under:
1st Transferring Global Table Contents: Currencies from R/3 Systems
2nd than transfer exchange rate - from r/3 to bi
3 than In SPRO settings of BW there is option "consider translation ratios in translation"
4th than used transaction RSCUR for creating currency translation type: parameter(exchange rate:m, soure currency fom data records, target currency ISK, time ref: current date)
5th than in BEX query designer have sated this for key figure
but when i run query in RSRT, curreny amount not getting convert?
    am i missing any step?
    pl. guide.
    thanks dushyant.

    Hi Dushyant,
Are these steps followed in Query designer??
In the Query designer, for that particular key figure property, under Conversion tab >> Currency Translation >> Conversion Type, select the currency translation type you created in RSCUR.
And in the target currency, select accordingly.
If you are going to use a variable, use the following link..

Even if you posted with A, the special GL indicator will be booked to F. Later see the document in FB03, you will come to know.

Special G/L transactions not defined for bills/exch.and down pmnts
    Message no. FP030
    Diagnosis
You have selected a posting key with a special G/L indicator of type 'Bill of exchange', or 'Down payment'. Document parking is not defined for special G/L transactions of the type 'Bill of exchange' or 'Down payment'.
    System Response
Document parking cannot be carried out.
    Procedure
Select a different posting key or special G/L indicator. If the posting is a 'One-time posting' to a rent contract, select a different transaction type or post the document directly.
HOW CAN I PARK DOWN PAYMENT DOCUMENT FOR VENDOR. KINDLY PROVIDE SUITABLE SOLUTION.
    REGARDS

    Dear,
Your special G/L "A" is set as Down Payment/Down Payment request, this is what cause the error.
To meet your requirement just go to FBKP select special G/L "A" enter your chart of accounts and go into properties, change
Special G/L transaction types to Others from Payment/Down payment request.
Advances can be created as Special G/L transaction types Others
If parking is utmost required by you then according to me you should create two special G/L for Down Payment. New created should be used for parking and default by SAP you can use with functionality like F-47, F-48, F-54.
System is stopping you because down payment functionality is provided exhaustively in SAP so you should follow that.
Please analyze the process exhaustively and implement to smoothen your process.

    Chintan Joshi.
