Error starting VM imported from VMWare

Hi,
I have installed OVM Server 3.0.3 to evaluate the impact of virtualice almost all our systems to OVM. Actually we are experiencing an error importing to OVM Server a VM running in VMWare.
We have tried two methods:
1 - Use WMWare OVFTool to create an OVA. Import this OVA to an assembly. Create a template first and a VM after that from this assembly.
2 - Running P2V in the Vmware VM and import it to OVM Server.
The result is the same with both methods. We get a VM that seems to be correct (there are no errors in all the steps) but when we try to run this VM in 3 seconds more or less it goes from stopped to running and finally to stopped again.
The job "start Virtual Machine" has the status completed and he Details button doesnt show any error so i dont know what is failing...

Look in /var/log/xen/ on the VM server it's being created on. There will be a file named qemu-dm-<name of your vm>.log. It uses the long alphanumeric name of the vm, not the nice short name, unfortunately. That file might give some clue.
My best guess is that it's not finding the disk to boot off of.

I'm guessing this is an extrenal drive, correct? If so make sure the library you're importimng into is really located on the external drive. By default Aperture creates its library in your home pictures folder.

Error start managed server from admin console in SSL mode

I have configured Admin server, managed servers and node manager on the same physical server and commonly using a single SSL sertificate.
There is no problem to start node manager, admin server and managed server individually. But if I try to start managed server from the admin console then I am getting the following errors.

From the admin console ... Are you able to check the status of Node Manager ?
If yes ... please check the SSL configuration of managed servers ...
Check the domain administration port also.

installing Beta2 ?

The following is the set of steps to install Beta2
Before installing "Beta 2, uninstall your Beta 1 version like this:
1. Run the uninstaller
2. Delete the entire bea_home that housed Beta 1 (restart if necessary)
3. Restart
4. Install Beta 2
Also make sure that there is no .jellybeans or .workshop file in the
C:\Documents and Settings\username before to install Beta2

I get the following error when trying to start WebLogic server
from within Workshop. Any ideas? Also, it looks like the sample
code that came with the first beta is no longer there - is that

HT4858 why am I getting an error message while importing from iPhone photo stream to iMac ?

I have not shared any photo for a few months. I tried to import photos into my iMac from iPhone photostream and I get a message saying "an error occurred while importing photo, please try again later". What am I doing wrong ?

There's no need to import photos from your iPhone to your iMac. Photostream is synced automatically via iCloud on Wi-Fi.
On your iPhone, tap Settings > iCloud
Make sure Photo Stream is switched ON.
On your iMac, open System Preferences > iCloud
Make sure Photo Stream is selected.

Error while table Import from Oracle (OBIEE server 64bit & Client 32bit)

Hi All,
Problem : ODBC/OCI Connectivity Issue between OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2 BP1 (64-bit) server and OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2 BP1 Client (32-bit) local machine.
We have an OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2 BP1(64-bit) setup on a 64-bit ‘Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise’ machine.
OBIEE dev team members have 32-bit local machines.
OBIEE “Admin team member” (who will work on RPD) has OBIEE 11g client (BP1) installed on their *32-bit local machine*(which is common client software for 32/64 bit.)
Now, two ODBC connections were created on this 32-bit local Client machine, with OBIEE 11g client installed on it.
One with “BI server driver” for connection to OBIEE server machine(64-bit) to open RPD and other with “Oracle database driver” to connect to the Oracle database on 64-bit machine, to import tables.
With this setup done, I am able to open the RPD in online mode and view the existing sampleapp related objects present in it.
But when I try to import metadata from OBIEE client admin tool using OCI or ODBC, it gives an error that “Connection fails! “
I have the required tns entry in my tnsnames.ora file and I am able to connect to this database from the local client machine, using sqlplus.
Kindly let me know if there are any restrictions in using this type of a setup combination of 32-bit and 64-bit machines for OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2 BP1 setup.
If not then, what steps are to be followed to do the setup btw 64-bit OBIEE server and 32-bit OBIEE client to make table import working.

I have my tns file residing in both the location you mentioned on the server machine. (64-bit)

•     {oracle_common}\network\admin directory
And also in the below Oracle_home path of oracle_client in the local machine. (32-bit, Oracle 11g R2 database client)
•     {oracle_Home}\product\11.2.0\client_1\network\admin
Also, I have used the full expanded tnsnames as you mentioned. Still issue persists.
When I use , “DataDirect 6.0 ODBC Oracle Wire Protocol” driver, for creating the system DSN and try to import tables from OBIEE client admin tool on local client machine, the connection happens and table list comes up, but it’s an SAP product and hence it throws a msg to purchase the tool to go further with table import.
I am wondering if I any other configuration steps need to be carried out, with the ODBC/OCI set up between 64-bit OBIEE server and 32-bit OBIEE client.
Also, the source database that I am trying to connect to is yet again on a 64-bit machine(Oracle 11g R2).
Please suggest.

Hello, I get the following pre execute error message(see below) when I try to import a table from Excel when using the wizard. I wrote my own code in the edit window. i noticed after writing it that the data types did not appear changed in the mappings window.

Import Wizard Error trying to Import from CE 9 to BOJ XI 3.0

I just installed BOJ XI 3.0 on a new server. I am trying to import the reports, users and data sources from our CE9 server to the new server. When I put in the APS name, log on name and password I get a error message saying..
Unable to connect to cluster @@ to retrieve CMS member list. Locally chached member list not present. Logon cannot continue
Any help would be greatly appreciated.. I have over 900 reports and I dont wnat to have to manually upload every one..

I am afraid that you will have to upgrade to XI or XIR2 first. Below is something from 3.0 guide:
If you are upgrading from Crystal Enterprise 9 or 10, you must first upgrade to either BusinessObjects Enterprise XI, or XI Release 2 SP2 or higher.

Error starting managment server from command line

I tried to start the managment server from the command line like this:
<jvm_home>/bin/jrcmd <pid start_management_server
and I'm getting the following error:
<pid> Not enough storage is available to run this command
The system has plenty or resources. I'm unsure what storate the command refers too.
The pid was found by using tasklist /svc at the command line to find the pid matching the domain service name.
this is jrockit 1.42_13

What operating system are you on? What is the complete version of JRockit ("java -version" will tell)?

I am just importing CD music onto my laptop and after 316 songs I get the erro message, "There is not enough room on "" to copy all of the requested files. iTunes will copy as many files as possible."

I just upgraded to VISTA and was unable to transfer my songs off ofmy old computer, so decided just to use IGADGET to transfer off ofmy IPOD. The error when I try to transfer songs is: ERROR- retrieving the COM CLASS factory for component W/CLSID. Does anyone have any ideas about this? Can no longer import from VHS to iMovie HD via Sony TRV-340E

For the last few weeks I have been successfully importing alot of my old home videos into iMovie 4.01.
The set up is a typical AV pass-through arrangement:
VHS (via component cables) to:
Sony TRV-340E (no tape inserted) (via 6-4 pin Firewire) to:
iMac G5
Then yesterday I upgraded to iMovie HD and updated straight away to 5.02.
Now when I play the tape in the VHS, it will show up on my cameras LCD screen but not on the G5.
I know this is an iMovie problem because:
If I play the VHS, and then put a tape in to the camera, then click import in iMovie, I can see that iMovie grabs a split second of video from the VHS before starting to import from the DV tape.
I hope Apple can fix this soon because I have to return both the camera and iMac soon!

Yes, some analog to DV converters don't work in iMovie HD 5.0.2 like they do in iMovie 4.0.1.
I'm not holding my breath for a fix since this has been a known issue for eight months:
