Error when acivating Info Source
Hi
I get an error when I try to activate an info source 0TRANSTYPE. It activates fine on BW dev. Transports fine to BW QA, but gives an error on BW prod.
The error it gives me is :
u2022 Error when creating transfer structure /BIC/CCLC0TRANSTYPE_ATTR in source system 90
I did try to reactivate the DataSource on the source system.
I also replicated the DataSource in the BW system and ran RS_transtru_activate_all after the transport to our BW Production system. But no luck.
The thing is, it works fine on the Development and QA servers.
Do you have any suggestions on what else I can do?

Thanks for getting back to me.
1) Both the QA and Prod system changeability is the same( This is the only infosource that I get this message with).
2) I also did a replicate an the source is visible for that source.
3) the error I get is R1304 - Error when creating transfer structure /BIC/CCLC0TRANSTYPE_ATTR in source system 90

Error when adding multiple source data stores in ODI Interface
I am trying to create an ODI Interface with couple of source tables and one target table. Say for example I am using the following data structure in my target table.
Order (Target Table)
order id
product id
customer id
address id
warehouse id
shipment id
for the above target table i need to extract data from each of the following source tables.
orderitem
product
customer
address
warehouse
shipment
Total 6 source tables i need to join however and load data for target table.
When I drag source data stores in to ODI interface mapping tab It throws the following Null Pointer Error. Due to this error I am not able to map target table with all the source tables.
Please suggest me what could be the reason for the error.

does somebody have a solution for this issue?
I am new to ODI and have the same problem. I am using ODI Designer Standalone Edition Version 11.1.1.
Maybe there is something wrong with my configuration, maybe I am doing something wrong while creating the mapping graphically. It does not help to save and re-open the mapping. Also it does not help to re-reverse engineer the objects. Also it does not seem to have something to do with the number of objects joined (some objects seem to always cause this error, with some the error starts when there are 10 or more objects on the map before they are added).
One possible workaround i have found is to do it all on the quick-edit tab by one by one creating the joins and mappings (+source or lookup joins and filter mapping). It seems to work with my configuration, but drag&drop functionality on the mapping tab would sometimes be faster, more convenient and just more human like.

Hi I am trying to import data into a table from a csv file. I Log into the Database via Oracle Enterprise Manager 10G. I then goto Administration and Import user file. I do not get this error with other tables and this file only with this table. Any help would be greatly appreciated, let me know if more info is needed.Thanks that did work out for me. However, I am still curious why I am getting that message in the Enterprise Manager. Well I was able to upload my info into the database and it was a better solution too.

Tomcat error when using data source.

The error I think is not related to finding the driver, but actually not retrieving the correct connection string info.
I never had much luck putting this definition info into server.xml
I have had success putting it into a custom context.xml file for a web app as described [url http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/config/context.html]here
in individual files (with a ".xml" extension) in the $CATALINA_HOME/conf/[enginename]/[hostname]/ directory. The name of the file (less the .xml) extension will be used as the context path. Multi-level context paths may be defined using #, e.g. context#path.xml. The default web application may be defined by using a file called ROOT.xml.

Error when creating a source of supply list via me01 and/otr me05
Dear expert,
We use SAP R/3 4.6c release.
I'm trying to create a source of supply that uses a contract.
I get an error message 'Object does not exist'.
When I look at the details of this messsage I see it is

Diagnosis :
You tried to create an instance of the object type BUS2053 with the key
0000000000001026311990. No instance of this kind exists.
I have checked SW01 and regenerated the object type BUS2053. The generated object looks ok, but when I test it it still comes up with the same error message.

According ti this note it will solve the following problem which is similar to your problem
"When you try to maintain a source list using Transaction ME01, the system generates a termination message with number OL826 'You tried to create an instance of the object type BUS2053 with the key. No instance of this kind exists'. "

Error when executing Info Provider in LISTCUBE - Very Very Urgent
Hi,
I have a Virtual Cube.
When I go to List Cube Transaction Code and execute in BWD system, there is no problem.
But when I go to BWT system and go to Listcube Transaction code and execute then the following error is being displayed:
1. Error reading the data of InfoProvider ZIP_RC_01
2. There is still no data source assigned to VirtualProvider ZIP_RC_01
I have check the DS in R/3 side and my R/3 Dev DS looks fine and when I check in R/3 test system, it says, "DataSource Z_IP_RC_DS_1 is not defined in the source system".
Is the problem because of the DS not being available in R/3 test system???
Please let me know...this is bit urgent.

RIM Application error when syncing info
Using a 9800 Torch and latest Desktop Software OS 6 to sync Lotus Notes Organizer info (non enterprise). Device connects, goes through contact info ok and then the following message pop's when the calendar tries to sync.
Synchronize: Rim.Desktop.exe - Application Error
X The exception unknown software exception (0x0000417) occurred in the application at location 0x7858c955
The the software closes.
Tried reinstalling the desktop software - same problem?

Try resetting the configuration sync settings in BlackBerry Desktop Software which is under Synchronize option. Once completed, re-setup the sync then test.

Error when activate Info Object

I made a transport to the production system.
The system was disconnected when i made the transfer. The transportation has fail, however, has generated objects in the target system.
In particular I have a problem with a standard InfoObject (0GN_BWBEOTY).
This object was transported to Production environment but has been inactive.
I can not activate it.
I used the transaction RSRV InfoObjetct, to validate integrity and I get the following errors:
CL_RSMD_RS_0GN_BWBEOTY Class, Method IF_RSMD_RS_ACCESSS ~ get_text.
"RSBWBEOTY" is not defined in the ABAP Dictionary as a table.
I tried to move into a new transport order, the only InfoObject but I get error code 12.
Someone has happened, can you give me ideas? what can i can do?

Error when creating SAP source-system in RSA1

we have a new bi-installation. the bi-system is running in the SAME system as our erp 2005-system is running.
the bi-client is 700, our source-system (FI/CO) client is 101. I want to create a source-system in RSA1. at the end i get the following error message:

In order to guarantee error-free communication between the source system and the SAP Business Information Warehouse, the logical system names must be known to both.
The system has established that the selected source system name D01MAND101 in the SAP Business Information Warehouse is not the same as the logical system name D01MAND700.

Processing has been terminated and all changes undone.
Procedure
Create the source system under the name D01MAND700 in the SAP Business Information Warehouse or change the logical system name for client 700 to D01MAND101 in the ALE customizing screen of the source system.
Note that the logical system name for client 700 may already be being used for other ALE scenarios. If this is the case you are not able to change the name.</b>

whenever i tried to transport the infocube i came across the following errors. But good thing is that all my object related to cube is in active mode. I had used "data flow before" during transportation. Please note that datasource 0Vtype_text is not present in the R/3 development either. Data Services Designer - Error when pulling large source tables
Hi all,
I have been trying yo load data from an SAP table - BSIS into MS SQL server database using BO Data Services Designer XI 3.2. It is a simple data flow with one souce table (BSIS).
When we execute the job, it says what is mentioned below:
*"Process to execute Dataflow is started"*
*"Cache statistics determined that DataFlow uses <0> caches with a total use of <0> bytes. This is less than the virtual memory <1609564160> bytes available for caches. Statistics is switching the cache type to IN MEMORY."*
*"Dataflow using IN MEMORY cache."
It stays there for a while and says "Dataflow terminated due to error"
In the error window, it says DF received a bad system message.
Does not specify the error... It asks to contact the customer support with error logs, ATL files and DDL scripts.
Can anyone help me out???

3) GET_INSTANCE, do not use IT_FIELD_RESTRICT
4) IF_UG_BW_MAPPING_SERVICES
5) REGISTER_INFO_OBJECT
6) specify I_RFCDEST
