Error when calling Adobe Interactive Form

Hi Experts,
I Created a Adobe Form using SFP and integrated into webdynpro abap application,and when i am testing the application its giving the error. and the errror details are.
The following error text was processed in the system RD1 : WebDynpro Exception: The ADS call has failed. You can find information about the cause in the error.pdf on the application server
The error occurred on the application server S0164SAPDEV2_RD1_00 and in the work process 0 .
The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
The ABAP call stack was:

i tested the program FP_PDF_TEST_00 its working fine . but still i am getting the same error

Hi Duo,
i was facing similar problems. It could be solved by installing the Reader Right Credentials. If you want to use a pdf with editable fields (no read-only document) you have to install the RRC. Check this url

if you start stack trace as mentioned in note 1016404 you will be able to get through.

Gettign error when using Adobe interactive UI in WDP ABAP

Hi Frnds,
Am doing an WDP ABAP object where i need to use Adobe interactive Form, its a simple basic level app, when am deploying the Adobe am getting the following error
The following error text was processed in the system XYZ : Function module does not exist
The error occurred on the application server sapcrm_XYZ_01 and in the work process 0 .
The termination type was: ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE
The ABAP call stack was:
Module: %_HTTP_START of program SAPMHTTP
Which is workign very fine in SFP as a Form>interface, when am using this in WDP ABAP than am facing the above error,
If i remove the Interactive UI, its working fine, am expecting that am using Adobe 9.1 version , as i seen in blog it should be 7.1

Error while opening Adobe Interactive form.

We have few custom applications which contains an adobe interactive form. When it is getting called it throws the following error.
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientserver.adobe.pdfdocument.base.core.PDFDocumentRuntimeException: Failed to UPDATEDATAINPDF
com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.XmlUnmarshalException: XML Deserialization Error. Invalid parser state. This exception is caused when deserializing XML type [http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema]<base64Binary> and wrong XML node is found.
Kindly guide me how to resolve this issue.

Browser hangs when an Adobe Interactive Form is

Hi Folks,
I'm fairly new to ABAP (< 1 year) and am in the process of creating my first Adobe Interactive Form. In fact it will be the first IFbA at our company, when I get done with it!
Here's the problem am facing: The Interactive Form that I'm building is called within an ABAP Web Dynpro application. If the displayType in the view is set to 'native', when the IFbA is called, the browser hangs and eventually shows the form after 5 full minutes. However, if it is set to 'activeX', it comes up with the form instantly. It does not matter what objects(WD activeX or native) I have on the form, It does the same thing.
Our System information:
SAP_Basis and SAP_ABA: 701 SP5
ADS: 802.20100902045248.720952
Adobe Reader 9
I've looked at the SAP Note 999998 and have pretty much done what they've asked for. But, have had no progress with it. I'm pretty much at my wits end. So, somebody please help?!

I managed to sort the issue.
It is not related to the ADS configuration.
I had to assign all the default roles of process to the user /role.

If you are developig your form using NWDS, make sure about the cardinality of the context parameter - data Source not 0..1 or 0..n.You may refer similar threads (of same kind of error) in this forum..

Error while running adobe interactive form

I made a scenario to update a z table using adobe interactive form in webdynpro.While executing I am getting the error as :
Termination type was : RABAX_STATE

Error while Activating Adobe Interactive Form

No such method error when launching the Interactive form

Hi Experts,
I have developed a simeple Java Webdynpro application and added an Interactive form without any controls in it. Created the context with one value node and a binary value attribute.
I have assigned value node to datasource and binary attribute to pdfSource. When I launch the application I am getting the following no such method error.
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com/sap/tc/webdynpro/clientserver/uielib/adobe/api/IWDInteractiveForm.setTemplateSource(Ljava/lang/String;)V
The currently executed application, or one of the components it depends on, has been compiled against class file versions that are different from the ones that are available at runtime.
If the exception message indicates, that the modified class is part of the Web Dynpro Runtime (package com.sap.tc.webdynpro.*) then the running Web Dynpro Runtime is of a version that is not compatible with the Web Dynpro Designtime (Developer Studio or Component Build Server) which has been used to build + compile the application.
My NWDS is of Version 7.0.06
and J2EE Engine is of Version 6.40.
any guess why I am getting this error.

Calling Adobe Interactive Form from a selection screen

Hi,
I have to design an interactive adobe form online scenario,it goes like this :
A certain tcode will call a selection screen when we enter values in the selection screen it will open an adobe form,which will have a submit button,on clicking the button data gets saved in a z table.
I will be designing the form in Web Dynpro,is it possible to call such a form through a selection screen?? Can someone please provide some idea on how to implement the above scenario.

Hello,
for the online scenario you need a communication partner for the form. In WD, you have a partner to exchange the data with. But from a selection screen... who would be your partner? You can of course display a form, a PDF file, a new one (generated) or a uploaded/ stored one, you can even edit the fields, but you don´t have any partner to send the data to.
To cut this... you need a webservice if you want to exchange some data immediately (online scenario).

Unable to close browser when using Adobe Interactive Form

Hello,
I'm using an Interactive Form in my Web Dynpro application. Everything works fine, but when the view with the Interactive Form is active, I am not able to close the browser window anymore. Moving to another view is also not possible.
I already changed all the options of the Interactive Form but always the same behaviour.
I am developing on Web AS 6.40, Service Pack 11. ADS is installed also with Service Pack 11.
Adobe Reader is Version 7.0 and Adobe Designer is Version 7.1
Has anyone an idea what's wrong?

I am facing a problem with viewing SAP interactive forms.
I have the SAPForms.api in Adobe reader plugins but is outdated (19th apr, 05). How do I get the new one and how do I register it ? This same scenario works on a colleague's machine with same config except the SAPForms.api which is latest. (Nov, 05)

Object Referenced Error When calling the Windows Form during Runtime

I am getting Object reference errors when running windows form during runtime. In debugging mode in MS Visual studio 2005, I am not getting this error. I'm calling the window form from menu and called the window in a thread as suggested in one of forums . I don't see anyone in the forum mentioned this problem I have. The problem is solved. It's coming from ADS_AGENT and ADS_USER profile not properly configured in AS ABAP.

Hi Raja,
something is wrong with your context in the component controller. Please verify your context structure with the structure in the document, which you mentioned. Do you really use value nodes and attributes? Is the mapping to the view correct and also the binding between the interactive form ui-element and the context nodes of the view?
