Errors ORA-01115 ORA-17507 ORA-01410

Hi i was using Oracle Data Integrator for loading data from one database to another, i programmed a package that loads data with a cycle in monthly intervals, it rans ok the first ten months since 2007/11 but then i got this errors
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01115: IO error reading block from file 286 (block # 184745)
ORA-17507: I/O request size is not a multiple of logical block size
ORA-01410: invalid ROWID
Does anyone have any idea why this happened?.

oracle error ORA-01115
1. Try to assess the cause and extent of the problem.
Examine the alert.log file for this instance. Scan the last few
days' entries for other occurrences of ORA-01115. If you find them,
A) Do they reference files in different disks?
If so, it is likely that there you have controller problems.
Move on to Scenario II.A below.
B) Do they reference different files in the same disk?
If so, it is likely that there are problems with that disk.
Move on to Scenario II.B below.
C) Do they always reference the same datafile?
If so, it is likely that the datafile contains bad blocks.
Move on to Scenario II.C below. If the file is bigger
than 2GB and you are running 7.1.4 or lower on a Solaris
platform, see Scenario II.D below.
D) If none of the above applies, move on to Step 2.
2. If the datafile is in the SYSTEM tablespace, or the database is in
NOARCHIVELOG mode, shut the database down. Move on to Step 4.
If shutdown immediate fails, do a shutdown abort.
3. If the database is in ARCHIVELOG mode, you should still shut the
database down. If the database cannot be shut down, offline the
datafile.
ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE '<full_path_file_name>' OFFLINE;
4. Try to copy the datafile to another disk (managed by a different
controller, if possible).
5. If the copy fails, even after you retry, the datafile must be considered
lost at this point. The next action depends on the tablespace to
which the lost file belongs. See the following Solution References to
PR entries, according to the different types of tablespaces,
for instructions on how to proceed.
IMPORTANT: While going through the references below, keep in mind that
if you restore the datafile from backup, you need to place it in another
disk, preferably under a different controller, and rename it inside Oracle
(see Note 115424.1 for details). If you recreate any tablespace, make
sure its datafiles are created in another disk, preferably under a
different controller.
Reference for Lost datafile scenarios : Note 198640.1
6. If the database is down, mount it.
7. Rename the datafile that you succeeded in copying inside Oracle.
ALTER DATABASE RENAME FILE '<old_full_path_file_name>'
TO '<new_full_path_file_name>';
8. If the database is mounted, open it. If you offlined the datafile,
perform media recovery on it, and then bring it online.
RECOVER DATAFILE '<full_path_file_name>';
ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE '<full_path_file_name>' ONLINE;

  • Export with Table Splitting : ORA-01115: IO error reading block from file

    Hello,
We are in perfroming the last dryrun of our CU&UC conversion.
The are now in the process of exporting the ECC6 system (Oracle 10.2.0.4.0, HPUX ia64) using sapinst features, "table splitting preparation"
When doing so, we are facing critical errors :
    Creating file /export_uni/sapinst_splitting/ora_query3_tmp3_1.sql.

I have therefore perfmed a dbverify ; no corruption has been recorded.
When trying to perfrom the EXPORT, without table splitting ; it works fine ...but the processing time is extremely long, as you can imagine. Any help would be highly appreciated.Regards.
    Raoul

    Thank you Stefan,
Our HPUX Release seems to be indeed 11v3,
    [root@:/root]# uname -a
    HP-UX B.11.31 U ia64 2566039091 unlimited-user license
I'll check the installation of the  patch and keep you informed
    Thank you

  • Oracle error ORA-01115

when we run sql update we get the error ORA-01115 : IO eror reading from file 348 and
    ORA-01110 : data file 657 : /dev/vx/rdsk/racdg1/PSindex03 ORA-27072 : skgfdisp : I/O error SVR4 Error : 12 : not enough space.
    the database is working perfectly.
the job runs perfectly when we re-run the job after several tries.
i have checked the oracle documentation on error and causes.they have not helped me yet.
    please give your inputs.
    oracle 9i with RAC
    OS solaris

If the database cannot be shut down, offline the
    datafile.
    ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE '<full_path_file_name>' OFFLINE;
    TO '<new_full_path_file_name>';
    8. If the database is mounted, open it. If you offlined the datafile,
perform media recovery on it, and then bring it online.
    RECOVER DATAFILE '<full_path_file_name>';
    ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE '<full_path_file_name>' ONLINE;

  • Media Recover ORA-01115

Some one have Media Block Recovery. My one datafile is corrupted showing block # ---- is in error. As I deploy the old Cold BACK and archeives , Problem comes again ?
Is there any problem with archives ?

What is ORA-01115? (Nobody remembers all Oracle errors, ok I found it)
    What's your OS and version?
    What's your database version?
ORA-01115: IO error reading block from file string (block # string)
Cause: Device on which the file resides is probably offline
Action: Restore access to the device
The error message says the device is not accessible, this is not datafile corruption. It's not a case for restore/recovery, although that may come later, after the basic problem has been resolved.

ORA-20123 is a localized/customized error code & message; therefore any solution depends upon what is unique inside your DB now.
I suspect that some sort of TRIGGER exists, which throws posted error, but this is just idle speculation on my part.
How do I ask a question on the forums?

  • Error(20,22): PL/SQL: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

I am getting currently getting an error when I try and insert into a table from a different schema from my Stored Procedure:
Error(20,22): PL/SQL: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
I am explicitly calling the table with the schema name infront i.e.
    INSERT INTO SAPSR3.ZTREC_NAME_TYPE
    MASTER_ID,
    NAME_TYPE,
    FAMILY_NAME,
    FIRST_NAME,
    MIDDLE_NAME,
    TITLE
    VALUES
    In_MasterID,
    In_NameType,
    In_FamilyName,
    In_FirstName,
    In_MiddleName,
    In_Title
I only get this error when I try and compile my stored procedure. If I try this insert not within a stored procedure (i.e. a blank script) it works perfectly.
Can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
It sounds like you (the procedure owner) have privileges on that table only through a role.
Roles don't count in stored procedures created with AUTHID OWNER (which is the default).
    Either
    (1) Have user SAPSR3 grant the necessary privileges directly to you (or to PUBLIC), or
    (2) change the procedure so that it runs with the caller's privileges, by adding AUTHID CURRENT_USER after the argument list but before the keyword IS (os AS) like this:
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE     foo
    (     x     IN     NUMBER
    AUTHID CURRENT_USER
    IS ...

Found the source of the problem. I had hidden the "Row Selector" on the master-detail report (for my purposes it was unneccessary), when re-introduced all was well again.

    Lukx,
I've just reproduced your what I believe you wanted and didn't receive any errors. Here are the steps I took.
    1) Used the wizards to create a Master Detail form (with Detail edit on the same page as the master and only showing 2 of the detail columns)
    2) Used the wizard to create a FORM ON A TABLE for my detail table allowing the user to edit all detail columns
    3) Created a "column link" column on the detail form of the Master Detail form which links to the FORM ON A TABLE, passing across the ID of the detail record.
When I do this, everything seems to work perfectly as expected.
Is there something I'm missing in the steps you performed to create your scenario?
    Thanks
    Doug

Am i missing anything. Please guide me
    Thanks in advance.

Try this. And I guess one forward slash after "file:" suffices.
    ora:readFile(concat('file:/home/casdevro/tbm/archive/', bpws:getVariableData('inputFile')'))
