ESB Web site name in XML and Load Balance name were inconsistent

Hi All,
I have a esb cluster environment that is be consisted of two servers. And I configure a CISCO Load Balance is named pvinv.intranet.com for them.
But why it reply me the single site name when I invoke the WSDL with SSL channel?
This is the Url which is be called:

And this is the anwser from site:

Ok. So Photos1.htm is the main gallery page.
And it looks like you have sub-folders with images in them like these from 2011 and 2010

It seems there is nothing to do with IE mode.
Please make sure your link still can be accessed.
The WebBrowser displays HTML content in applications running in a Silverlight 4 or later out-of-browser applications or in Silverlight 5 in-browser trusted applications only.

we are not able to connect to Live office to our server . URL is not authenticated in Excel and if we place same url in browser ,we are getting below error message.
"Please enable REST support in WEB-INF/conf/axis2.xml and WEB-INF/web.xml"
we couldn't able to rest the same after changing settings in axis2 file also.
Any solution where we can configure in CMC or any files

Hi Mahesh,
As mentioned by Abhilasha, this is the expected behavior.
In order to validate you could place the following URL in the browser.
http://servername:portno/dswsbobje. you would see Tomcats home page which will display the list of Services.
As far as the Live office in Excel is concerned , If you are getting a yellow exclamation mark stating (Web service not correct) next to Session URL, try changing the servername to IPaddress of the server.
Eg: http://ipaddress:portno/dswsbobje/services/Session
While inserting the Session URL in the Live Office settings confirm the URL as per above.
If the issue still persists, you could configure the host file entry in you client machine.

I'm finding limited docs on Web Dispatcher with regard to reverse proxy and load balancing. Are you aware of some recent presentations or docs in this area? The info on help.sap.com is not what I'm looking for.

best thing is that you look at your scenarios and test the web dispatcher against each of it, like:
- SSL
- Portal only
- Web Dynpro ABAP / Java
- BSP
- Different backend systems like SRM, MDM
- Several backends with 1 Web Dispatcher
After getting a list of use cases that you can test quite easily (installation of Web Dispatcher is done fast and can be done on a local PC), you can contact SAP Support and ask them about the specific problems and questions you encountered. This way, you'll get the official answer, sometimes they will even inform you about "secret" parameters and options.
As of the reverse proxy functionality: there are several version of Web Dispatcher available that differ from the functionality offered. The latest version - 7.2 - is the one that offers the most, i.e. allows you to create rewrite rules like Apache.

I feel the same exact way! I am absolutely livid with how much I have been charged over these past few months. How is it I was informed by my school that Adobe would only charge us $9.97. After I signed up, I dropped the course which required us to have Adobe Cloud. Now I check my bank account and I see I am continuously being charged $32.04 every month. This is abdolutely outrageous! Installing 2 Application server and 1 DB server and load balancing for 11i

I need info on how to install and configure load balancing for 11.5.8 on Win2000. The scenario: 1 db server DB, 2 apps/web/forms servers AP1 and AP2. Using rapid install you can only specify one db server A and one form server in multi node installations, right? How do I install the form server on AP2? Can I use the same config.txt? The computer name for AP2 is different.

I have the very same issue. We want to install 4 web/form servers on a hardware load-balancer and the issue is we can only specify one forms server.
Does anyone know the secret bullet here?

Data Centre Interconnection - firewall and load balancer deployment

Hi all,
I've read lots of Cisco docs/white papers on DCI - Layer 2 extension between DCs, but as yet I cannot find any decent information on how best to deploy firewalls and load balancers in such a design. I've seen refs to FHRP isolation on Nexus 7k (and possible 6k if you use DCI block) but nothing on the services elements.
The services element seems to be a complete minefield here:
- active/standby across sites, or deploy resilient pairs in each site?
- how to align optimal traffic flows inbound and ooutbound (RHI, SNAT, etc.)
- best practice suggestions ideally.
Cisco DCI docs seem to always gloss over the fact that most customers would have to deal with firewalls and load balancers here, and simply refer to 'coming soon' for that info.
If anyone has any good suggestions/links to docs explaining detailed implementation info would be much appreciate

Reverse Proxy plug in and Load Balancer Plug in

Hi,
Can anyone please provide me with an example obj.conf file showing how to combine the reverse proxy plug-in and Load Balancer plug-in.
I would like to use the reverse proxy plug in to detect when static content is requested and provide this from the web server. Requests for dynamic content would then be forwarded to an Application server via the Load balancer plug-in. I have found plenty of documentation on how to configure these plug-in separately but nothing on how to combine the two.

reverse proxy plugin - its job is to forward the requests to another server for a specific task. you can use the webserver 7 . it does forward and limited load balancing (using round robin ) based on the number of servers you provide in the configuration. i would say this is a poor man's setup.
load balancer plugin - some app servers like sun java system app server or web logic provide this plugin so that you can effectively use the back end app server
with both these setup, you can <if> constructs to determine which requests need to be forwarded to the back end server.
I wonder, why do you need both - if both of them is designed to do the same thing.
