Evaluation of a survey.

I have made a survey in SAP CRM 5.2 and attached it to an activity. In the backend I can tell 2000 surveys have been posted through these activities. I'd like to see the results of my survey, but when I click on the Evaluate button in crm_survey_suite, I get the following message: No data is available for evaluation. Which is odd, because it actually says there are 2000 surveys:
There are 2000  questionnaires to be evaluated    
the analysis may take some time            
you can import the data by block                  
you want to import data by block of 1000 or all
Is there some post-processing of surveys involved that I do not know about?

Hi,
I am not sure if I understood your issue correctly or not.
You need to ensure "Evaluation without business  Infomation warehouse" under settings ticked to get the results in survey evaluation.

    I too have a similar problem.  Your advice to other user was helpful.  In similar situation.  SRM5.0.  I have a Questionnaire defined using IMG activity (WebSurvey Cockpit).  When I execute the Evaluate Vendor from the SRM Process Vendor List - I get "Page cannot be displayed".
    1.  I checked the table TUWS_SURVEY - and the Survey exists.
    2.  I ran the GET xlst name and it found it - XSLT Program Name: UXSGAB49CFCDA641774DB513A35B
    3.  You mentioned checking to see if BBP_VE_SERVICE and/or UWS_FORM_SERVICE were active.  How do I check this?

    SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) supports event-driven questionnaires for two specific occasions:

    The event-driven evaluation and the ad-hoc evaluation use separate InfoProviders in SAP NetWeaver BI. The InfoProvider that is used for event-driven evaluation is also used for evaluation triggered from out of the Advanced Supplier List.

    These events trigger a questionnaire, which pops up on the screen or enable a button to open the questionnaire. To carry out event-driven evaluation, you first have to specify in Customizing when and under which circumstances you want the evaluation to take place. For example, you can define that the evaluation is to occur for certain product categories, or suppliers, or purchasing organizations. You can also define the frequency (for example, every invoice/confirmation, or every second invoice/confirmation, and so on).     The Supplier Survey Cockpit is an application with which you can manage surveys to gain information about your suppliers. After completion of a survey, the survey data is transferred to SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI) for reporting. Analyzing the survey outcomes in SAP NetWeaver BI helps you to always be up on your suppliers' performance regarding, for example, reliability, quality, and service.
    The Supplier Survey Cockpit enables you to gather information independently of a certain purchasing event. With the Supplier Survey Cockpit, you can do the following:
    Set up a survey
    Assign a questionnaire to the survey
    Distribute the questionnaire via e-mail and
    Monitor the responses
    Features
    To access the Supplier Survey Cockpit, choose Supplier Evaluation and then Survey Management under Detailed Navigation.
    By default, you find three queries: A survey query, a survey package query, and a survey monitor query. Depending on the query you choose, the table below the queries displays different information.
    To manage surveys, choose the survey query. Click on Create to create a new survey. Select a survey from the table and click on Display, Edit, or Delete to display, change, or delete a survey.

  • SRM vendor evaluation

    Hi,
    Has anybody worked with the new SRM Vendor Evaluation - Analytics with Surveys?
    I am trying to use the standard surveys/questionnaires provided in SRM 5.0 - SRM_CONF1E, SRM_VL_E, SRM_INVE.
    Have activated the event: Confirmation with the following settings:
    Transaction type: Confirmation
    Vendor: *
    Purchasing organization: *
    Category ID: 
    Source system: 
    Product ID:  *
    Procedure : Always - When Saving
    Probability: 
    WebSurvey: SRM_CONF
    Questioannaire: SRM_CONF_1
    Now, when I do a confirmation from the Confirm Goods/Services Screen, I am still not getting the questionnaire. Are there any other configurations to be done?

    Hi Waheed,
    do you get an error message?
    Depending on error, it could be the unicode setting of your system. The standard questionnaires work fine in NON-Unicode. In Unicode system, sometimes it is necessary to copy the standard questionnaire into an own survey.
    Also the XSLT code might be missing and need to be generated.

    <b>Defining Questionnaires</b>
    <b>Use</b>
    The questionnaire in the activity is based on the survey. A survey is created in the Survey Suite. This is a tool for managing surveys, opinion polls and questionnaires. The surveys can be found in the left area of the Suite. The surveys for each application are found in the corresponding folders in the tree.
    For an overview of the available surveys for the relevant application, open the folder for that application.
    To display the content of a survey, double-click the survey you wish to see. The content is displayed on the right hand side of the screen.
    If a translation has been created for a survey, and is available, the symbol next to the survey in the tree is the symbol for the "Translate" function.
    It is possible to copy an existing survey. In this way, you make savings by reusing questionnaires in the same or similar survey projects.
    <b>Procedure</b>
    To carry out the activity, choose one of the following navigation options:
    Transaction Code     CRM_SURVEY_SUITE
    IMG Menu     Customer Relationship Management &#61614; Transactions &#61614; Settings for Activities &#61614; Questionnaires &#61614; Define Questionnaires
    General Settings for the Questionnaire:
    1.     Enter the transaction code CRM_SURVEY_SUITE to start the Survey Cockpit.
    The Overview of Surveys screen appears.
    2.     In the list of applications choose the component ACTIVITY.
    a.     Press button Create (F5) to create a new questionnaire.
    b.     If you have already assigned a survey to the component, you can choose button Change (F6) to maintain it.
    c.     If you are copying an existing survey from another application, select the survey, choose the button Copy (F7), assign your newly created survey to application ACTIVITY and rename the survey.
    You can edit your questionnaire in the Survey Builder that is opened for case a. and b.
    A template is generated for a newly created survey. It already contains a survey title and a section with a question/answer and pushbuttons to send or reset the filled out questionnaire.
    3.     You can maintain survey attributes    (CTRL + F12) to make central settings for your questionnaire.
    The system opens a dialog box in which you can decide, for example, whether the survey can still be changed after sending or for which scenarios is it valid.
    Create Survey Elements:
    1.     In the upper left screen area, select the hierarchy node in the structure view of the questionnaire.
    2.     Choose Insert Section to create a group of individual questions that belong together as regards subject.
    The system displays detailed information for the section in the lower left screen area.
    3.     In the Text field enter a name that is to appear as the title of the question group in the survey.
    4.     Select the new section and choose Insert Question to define your questions. The system displays entry fields in which you can enter the question text, ID (is visible in expert mode) and the rating factor.
    A question consists of the attributes question text, Id, and rating factor, which you must maintain and also of as many answers as required.
    A unique Id must be assigned to each question. This Id is necessary for the later evaluation of the completed survey. The system gives you a suggestion for a unique Id, but you can overwrite this.
    With the rating factor, you can control the quantitative evaluation of the survey. The higher the rating factor, the greater the weighting of the question in the evaluation. In the evaluation, the calculation is made by multiplying the rating factor of each question by the rating of the selected answer.
    5.     Select your question and choose Insert Answer to pre-define your answers. The system displays entry fields.
    An answer consists of answer attributes and answer options. According to the answer category, the answer can contain one or more answer options. For input fields and text areas, only one answer option per answer is allowed, for radio buttons, check- boxes and list boxes, as many answer options as required are possible.
    A unique Id (is visible in expert mode) must be assigned to every answer. This Id is necessary for the later evaluation of the completed survey. The system will give you a suggestion for a unique Id, but you can overwrite this.
    You can also determine whether the text is placed to the left or the right of the input element and whether the answer should be in display format only and therefore unchangeable.
    For input fields and text areas, you must also specify the size.
    If necessary, select one of the answer options as a default value that is already selected when you open the questionnaire.
    6.     Add other questions/answers that you want to ask in this section or create new sections with questions/answers.
    The system updates the status of the questionnaire in the structure view and in the preview every time as soon as you confirm your entries.
    7.     To change the attributes of a survey element you created, you have to double-click on it in the structure view.
    8.     Choose Save.
    You can run a test for the created survey (CTRL + F8).
    9.     Go back (F3) and activate your survey (CTRL + F1).

  • Marketing Attributes not updating in BP through Suvery

    I m working in CRM 5.0, i want to update marketing attribute of BP using survey response, i have created survey which include marketing attributes, in survey setting i have maintained

    Callback to PAI      CRM_MKTBP_SVY_ATTRIBUTE_PAI
    further i have generated survey url using BSP option, next i have assign this survey url  to  mail form, Customers/BPs can open the mail and able to fill the survey successfully, but when i checked in master data of BP no marketing attributes are assign to them(Marketing attributes are not updating).
    Please help me to resolve this,do  i will have to add marketing attribute anywhere in FM code ?? i have also read sap note : 638320 but no success.

    Furthermore I am using the following function modules:

    Callback to PAI CRM_MKTBP_SVY_ATTRIBUTE_PAI
    The Marketing Attributes should be updated within a Contact. This contact have assigned the role "Internet User". Behind this role I have defined my CRM User name.
    For testing the Attribute update I have generated an URL with BSP. Afterwards I opened this URL and logged in with my CRM User name. After filling in the survey and submitting no business partner were updated. It seems that the "conversion" from my CRM User to the CRM contact doesn't work. I think there could be a problem with the PBO and PAI modules. Because the functionality "Evaluation" within the Survey Suite shows a number of evaluated questionnaires and answers after submitting my survey.
    So my questions:
    Are the mentioned PBO and PAI modules up to date? (Last change date was in 2005)
    Is the Application "Marketing" within the SAP Survey Suite the correct one?

  • Marketing Attributes alignment from Parent BP to Child BPs

    Hi,
    We have a requirement of updating marketing attributes on child BPs if they are getting changed at the Parent BP.
    For eg If attribute A is getting changed at Parent using transaction BP, system shoudl fetch all its child BPs from BP hierarchy in background and update the value of attribute A there.
    I am thinking of using BADI BUPA_GENERAL_UPDATE
    Please provide me Std FMs to udpate marketing attribute os a BP and the place hwere to write code.
    Please suggest me some othe solutions to realise this requirement.

      Use the SHDB transaction for BDC Recording.
      Give the transaction to record as  PA30.
      Then PA30 screen will come.
       Fill the Infotype based on your requirement.
      Then continue with recording by filling the details of corresponding infotype.

  • Service Desk Enhancement with Forms & Survey - no data evaluation possible

    Hello,
    I implemented an additional form in the service desk (using the survey functionality)

    Creation was fine, I am able to see the additional form as extra tab in Service Desk Support Messages (transaction type SLFN).
    But evaluting the data does not work.
    According to the survey suite, no data is available - but I answered to the survey/provided input to the form.
    I saved the values, and looking into the appropriate tables (mentioned here: CRM Survey Evaluation Data Storage) give the impression that answers are there.
    But I cannot evaluate them...
    Does anybody have experience with this kind of service desk enhancement and knows how to get the data for evaluation?

    Hi All,
    I want to user Survey Evaluation form CRM_SURVEY_SUITE without use BW extraction,
    but I see only some fields available. I need in particular Customer Code and Customer Name by they are not available in Survey avalutaion button into transaction CRM_SURVEY_SUITE.
    The second question is how to manage the authorization to see only some Call List to and Survey to the end users
    (for example I'm Italian and I have to see only Italian Call List) suing transaction CRMD_TM_CLDIST and CRM_SURVEY_SUITE. I have to work with roles or other way ?

    first of all i would like to explain the standard methodology to store the surevy results in CRM
    In SAP Standard when a customer answers a survey, a new activity with transaction type ‘0000’ will be created that automatically triggers the follow-up processes. In our business scenario we’re not using transaction type ‘0000’ but ‘Y004’ instead.
    To make the campaign automation survey scenario running for this transaction type as well you have to change a BAdI.
    The following procedure describes where and how to adapt the respective changes.
    In a real customer scenario this is a very likely procedure.
    Transaction Code SE18
    1. SAP Menu Architecture and Technology---->ABAP Workbench -
    >Utilities -
    >Business Add-Ins
    2. Enter the name of the respective BAdI CRM_MKTCA_SVY_PAI in the field Definition Name and choose Display first.
    3. Go to tab ‘Interface’ and double-click on the default implementation class CL_DEF_IM_CRM_MKTCA_SVY_PAI.
    4. Again, double-click on method IF_EX_CRM_MKTCA_SVY_PAI~PROCESS_SVY_PAI_FOR_CA and confirm the following dialog box with Yes.
    5. In the following you see the example implementation for transaction type ‘0000’.
    6. Now switch to change mode and search for ‘0000’ with the Find/Replace button.
    7. In the following replace the line
    iv_process_type = '0000' with the line
    iv_process_type = 'Y004'
    8. Save your settings and don’t forget to activate your coding again.

    in the similar way you are trying to retrieve the surevy info stored in tables
    also This activity also has the response of the customer which can be viewed in the Questionaire Tab of the activity.
    You need to maintain a customizing setting for Questionaire Determination.
    Customer Relationship Management -> Transactions-> Settings for Activities -> Questionnaires -> Define Determination for Questionnaires: Business Activity.
    Maintain an entry here. Put the Determiantion Id, Descr and transaction type (0000), keep the Questionaire Column Blank, and mark the Checkbox in the Active Column.
    3. At the database level two tables get updated based on the response.
    • CRMD_MKTRU_SVY: Assignment Business Partner / Surveys
    • CRMD_MKTCA_CT_IN: Table for Inbound Entry
    Also in transaction CRM_SURVEY_SUITE, select your survey and click on the Evaluation Button. It should also show the response of the customers
    and in your case customer is you coz you urself are filling the surveys.

    I created one Survey using CRM_SURVEY_SUITE and I would like to extract result using Simple Survey Evaluation.
    I set the flags Evaluation without Business Information Warehouse and Save completed Questionnaire.
    When I press the button Evaluation, I always get the message "No Data is available for evaluation".
    Is it really possible to extract results without BW ?

    Now i want to know the how to get the results in IC WEBCLIENT for  a survey. I am using CRM 7.0 VERSION.
    Can any one tell me is there any settings required to get the survey results in IC WEBCLIENT without BIW Evaluation.

    I create a survey. Then I sent an email to a business partner survey. He responds and I see the content but the field sender/receiver is initial.
    Does anyone know why we can't see who sends you the survey?
    Should we implement any notes?

    The problem is the following:
    Whe you answered the survey from a email, I can see the response of the survey in SAP but I can't see who has sent me  in SAP. That is, I can't see the sender of the survey in SAP.
    I explain you the steps to see the response of the survey in SAP:
    1. Excute transaction crm_survey_suite
    2. Choose the survey
    3. Select by menu: Extras -> Display Evaluation
    In this moment I see survey evaluation.
    The problem is:
    4. Select a record of the response of the survey.
    5. Select Detail Display
    6. I see a screen detail of the register. __But the field sender / receiver is empty_. THIS IS THE PROBLEM._

    SAP it can be automated, and the key month end closing should be able to be reduced.

    Hello Experts,
    I have created a web survey, and send it to supplier on his GMAIL ID. Now he can see the survey questionier on his GMAIL ID, but when he tries to submit survey using send survey button, nothing is happning. Means, Send Survey button is not working.
    Please help what to do?

    for the send survey button to work, you have to specify communication
    type email, and an email address where the surveys will be sent.
    For this kindly follow these steps:
    1. Go to transaction SO50
    2. Insert an new row and fill it with the folowing data:
       a.) Communication Type: 'Internet Mail'
       b.) Recipient Adress: (Here, you have to use the email-account of
           the SU01-User 'MAILADM'.)
       c.) Document Class: '*'
       d.) Exit Name: 'CL_UWS_FORM_RUNTIME_MAIL'
       e.) Call Sequence: '1'
           (change the existing entry to have the value '2' in this field)
    Also for the send survey to work, the recipient has to open the
    attached htm file from the email with Internet Explorer and allow
    activex content.
