Service Desk Enhancement with Forms & Survey - no data evaluation possible
Hello,
I implemented an additional form in the service desk (using the survey functionality)

Creation was fine, I am able to see the additional form as extra tab in Service Desk Support Messages (transaction type SLFN).
But evaluting the data does not work.
According to the survey suite, no data is available - but I answered to the survey/provided input to the form.
I saved the values, and looking into the appropriate tables (mentioned here: CRM Survey Evaluation Data Storage) give the impression that answers are there.
But I cannot evaluate them...
Does anybody have experience with this kind of service desk enhancement and knows how to get the data for evaluation?

I've problems understanding the setup of connecting a 3rd party service desk tool with solman itsm.
So far it's clear that I need to activate and configure the service provider and consumer in soamanager.
The webservice then will be called by the 3rd party tool with corresponding data.
However, according to spro I need to define a value mapping for incoming/outgoing calls.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to generate SSRS report with form library in SharePoint 2010.
In order to use the data stored on the InfoPath form, you need to add the controls on the form to be columns in SharePoint(This is the OOTB way without code).
You can add the control during the publish process:
Then when you create the SSRS report using the form library as the data source, you can use the fields just as the fields created in SharePoint.
There is a tool called InfoPath DB in codeplex, you can have a look at it.

Create a Web Service for Exchange with form based authentication ?
I want to create a Web Service in Apex that can create appointments in my exchange calendar. Exchange is offering web services for that.
When i try to create the web service reference in Apex i provide the URL and my Exchange login, but it is failing.
The exchange guys told me, that there is a ISA Server running where i need to authenticate through a form.
Does anyone know, how i can implement a webservice in Apex, when the access to the wsdl url needs login through a form ?
Or : what other types of authentication does Apex know ? What possibilities do i have ?

Help with form sending the data to email
I have looked all over the Internet for help with this. I have tried numerous video tutorials and for some reason I can't get it to work. I have created a form in flash cs4 AS2. It is a contact information form where the user fills out their information and sends it. I have created a the form in a movie clip (I have also tried it not in a movie clip) with the form components inside that movie clip. I have given each component on the form an instance name.
The form has:
Full name (with instance name=name)
Company (with IN =company)
Title (with IN = title)
Phone (with IN = phone)
Email (with IN = email)
Topic combobox (with IN=topic)
Message box (with IN=msg)
Submit button (with IN=submit)
I need help with the actionscript writing. I am VERY new to flash and have never done any scripting really. Does anyone have a sample file I can look at to see how it works or can someone IM me and I can send my file for them to help me?

Interface with third party service desk..
Hi,
I am looking into different options to integrate SolMan Service Desk functionality with third party interface.
Scenario includes, <b>sending attachments</b> and <b>receiving attachments</b> through SolMan Service Desk functionality.
Please share/throw some light on the interface. I have already gone through "ServiceDesk_WebServiceAPI" document, but not much info/help in that.

ƒBasic configuration - RFC Connections to SAP
Check if the RFC Connectino SAPOSS is working properly
Check if load distribution group is set to EWA
The RFC Connections:
- SAP-OSS (Send Message to SAP)
- SAP-OSS-LIST-O01 (Update Message from SAP)
will be created automatically by the system with a user which has been assigned
previously.

With transaction SM59 you can adjust the RFC connections.

Front-end connection to SAP.
Activities:
- 1. From the SAP Solution Manager (transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER), choose (Edit-> Global Settings.
- 2. Choose Display<->Change.
- 3. For SAP Service Marketplace, specify http://service.sap.com as the URL.
- 4. In the Connection to SAP tab, specify SAPOSS as the RFC destination. Note that the entry is casesensitive.
- 5. For User forwading messages, enter a valid user and a password. This user will require all the authorizations for SAPNet R/3 Front-end for your customer number.
- 6. Save your changes.
The system automatically generates the following RFC destinations and assigns the S-User and password you specified: SAP-OSS, SAP-OSS-LIST-O01

Hi All,
We have 3 requirements while configuring service desk in solution manager:
1) Is there any possibility that we can restrict view of messages in solman for different teams. E.g: Finance Support team should not view message raised for Material Management Team ?
2) Is there any possibility in service desk that we can assign message on the basis of location e.g: message raised for finance from location A should go to different support team of finance and for location B, it should go to different finance team ?
3) Is there any possibility that we can make some question necessary while user is raising very high priority message from satellite system e.g: when we raise Very high priority message on service market place, we need to answer few mandatory questions ?
I tried to search these functionality in standard scenario but I am not able to find something relevant. Please suggest.

I have a pretty simple question to ask to anyone who has configured Service Desk. Actually i want to send the End User an email whenever the status of the message he created is changed to User Feedback. Am doing it currently with the help of an action. What I am not sure of is which Smart Form is best for this purpose. Currently I am using this :
Form Name: CRM_SLFN_ORDER_SERVICE_01
Processing Class: CL_DOC_PROCESSING_CRM_ORDER
Processing Method: CRM_SRVORDER_EXEC_SMART_FORM
The problem is that the form usually only contains the first description entered in the message. I want it to have complete correspondence ie all the descriptions, reply and solutions that are there in the message.

We copied the standard Form: CRM_SLFN_ORDER_SERVICE_01 and made some modifications to it to fit our needs. We wanted to display all text types in the description field and to display it in descending order by date and time.

Service Desk: Pricing data for partner could not be read

I am trying to configure the Service Desk functionality for Service Providers (on EHP1).
I follow the SAP Documentation (SAP Solution Manager: Service Desk for Service Providers) and SLA's made easy in SAP Solution Manager. Also some discussion threads helped me with some steps (I applied e.g. the recommendation from Pricing data for partner 106 could not be read. , but it didn't help).
I am facing some errors related to the CRM part of the configuration.
When I create Service Desk Contract (SLFV) in CRMD_ORDER, the error appears Pricing data for partner xxx could not be read. I checked the setting of BP and I am not able to find the reason, for customer's (sold-to-party) BP the sold-to-party > Sales Area Data the Sales Organization/Distribution Channel/Division are maintained. Which information for pricing is needed and where can it be configured?
Another error - I am sure it is related to the first one - the service contract cannot be determined in the service message (in Item details view under product). The error messages are about sales area/organization, so I suppose there is something wrong with the link Service Contract -> Business Partner definition.
Could you please help me what can cause the error?

my problem was solved when I double checked the settings of org structure. That means there must be a consistent setting for sales organization / distribution channel / division in businness partner (tcode BP), organizational model (PPOMA_CRM), product workbench (COMMPR01). The setting must be same for both the sales department of the service provider and the customer's company (I am sorry I am not CRM, so I am following just this simple logic)
In the long text of the error (in CRMD_ORDER) I could see "expected" combination for sales organization / distribution channel / division (message e.g. The access was carried out with sales organization 'O 50000613', distribution channel '01' and division '') -> when the org model was set up everywhere in this way, the contract was automatically filled by the organization data and in the next step the contract could be determined in the service desk message.
Anyway it took some time to find out the correct combination. Deeper CRM knowledge would help me much.

Service Desk with IC WebClient: Category Modeler not available

We are currently implementing a Service Desk Application based on SAP Solution Manager. Therefore we are using the article "Implement an ITIL Employee Service Desk with IC WebClient" of "www.CRMExpertOnline".
One of the steps, which are described in the article describes how to Categorize incidents with the Category Modeler. It says that the Category Modeler is available trough BSP Application CRMM_ERM_CAT.
Unfortunately this SAP-Application is not available on our system.

The question is that CRMM_ERM_CAT is an application, also a transaction but this is not the name of the associated BSP I think, this belongs to component CRM-PCF more than Solution Manager.

Need to create a contest entry form with a survey
I have a client that would like me to create contest entry from with a survey, I know that I can easliy do this using the Web Form builder and have the data captured into the database, the prolem that I have is that my client only wants the customer to be able to enter the contest once. Is there a way to set this up using a Web Apps or other code so that if a person with the email address tries to enter more than once they get a message that says that they already entered?
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Here's a posible solution...
1- Extend the CRM Database with a unique ID field
2- Add this 'hidden' CRM field to the sign up form so every member has an automatically generated unique ID ( see http://forums.adobe.com/message/4520873#4520873 )
3- Create an appropriate web app field and pre-populate it with this ID- lets call this field xyz (hide this field too)
Now, as long as the web app input form is on the web app detail view page, all you'd have to do is compare these two 'strings' i.e {module_cutomerfield,****,*******} and {tag_xyz}
