Event Creation in UCCX

Hi,
I am using UCCX 10.0 with Premium License.
I have both Inbound and Outbound.
For Outbound calls, i have to popup the details of customer. I created a HTTP event in the workflow for that in Ringing Event and is working fine.
But i need to popup the details of customer at the time of the Preview to the agents.
But i can see only four options in the list of events; Ringing, Answered, Dropped, Working.
So i cannot create any any actions while Preview.
Can i create Preview event similar to other events. If yes, how?

I think what you might be after is the layout list in CAD. Here is a link to the Desktop Administrator Guide where you configure LayOut Lists...in order to pass the data you'll need to use a Set Enterprise Info Step in the CCX Script you are using..passing the appropriate variables..

  • Automatic event creation in iCal

    I'd like to be able to create a standard set of events in iCal whose dates are based on another event.
    For a simplified example, if I have a meeting on Wednesday, I'd like to be able to run a script of some sort to add: "Confirm Appt" 2 days before, "Collect Papers" 1 day before, and "Followup" 1 week after.
    I've tried putting something together in Automator, but the existing actions don't allow for this kind of event creation. The closest I came up with was series of prompts with the correct event titles, but with predetermined rather than relative dates.
    Anyone know of a utility or script, or Automator add-on that could do this? Thanks.

    You would then either have to change the class times in the AppleScript for each A-G day, or make 7 different workflows with the same actions, just configured for each school day. For example, workflow A has "A Day" in the first action and the times for A Day classes in the run applescript. Workflow B has "B Day" in the first action and the times for B Day classes in the run applescript, etc.

  • Room is not available at the time of Event Creation

    Dear All,
    I have created these objects..
    Resource (Room1)
    Location (Campus1)
    Resource Type (Lecture Hall)
    I already associated Resource with Location and Resource Type.
    Apart from it I have Linked Resource Type with Business Event Type.
    But still when I am going to create an event for the event type I do not get any available room and building.
    Even if I am choosing any default entry (already provided in IDES system), I am not getting room attached to locations.
    I have done it in my earlier project, but now its missing.
    what could be the reason? Please help.

    Sudhir, in order to make a room available at event creation, you have to mantain the following relationships and infotypes:
    Object G (Resource)
    Rel. 003 with object F (Location)
    Rel 020 with object R (Resource type)
    Object R (resource type)
    Rel 020 with object G (Resource)
    Rel 022 with object D (event type)
    You also have to define the type of resource handled by object R. You can specify this at Infotype 1023 (Availability Indicators). You have to create this infotype, select the tab "Room", and Save.
    Object D (Buss. event type)
    Rel 022 with object R (resource type)
    With all of this defined, you can then go to Event creation, and create an event from the Business Event Type that includes the room you have created. You have to select Location and then Room.

  • Which method is used for event creation

    Dear All,
    My client has more then one Purchase Organization. Workflow for Purchase order release very from pur org to pur org. For example - workflow WS92000030 is trigger when PO is created for India pur org where as workflow WS92000021 is trigger when PO is created for US pur org.  
    I checked and found that same Object Type - BUS2012 & event - RELEASESTEPCREATED is used in all Pur. Org PO release workflow. Also I found in Transaction code - SWETYP that Type linkage activate for  BUS2012, RELEASESTEPCREATED in all the PO workflow - WS92000030 & WS92000021.
    As per my knowledge, event can be created in various way such as Function module, Change document, General status management, Business Transaction Events etc.
    Can some one guide me, how can I found that which method is used for event creation in different pur org?
    How can I fould what is the fuctional module used for event creation if Fuctional module used for event creation. 
    For your information, I can see in T. Code - SWUO that 'Result dependent on a check function module'  for all the workflow - WS92000030, WS92000021 etc.

    I dont think they have used the Function module or change document or any other kind of methods to trigger the workflow. This is because RELEASESTEPCREATED method is a standard method and it will be triggered by standard SAP. They can not make changes in standard sap saying RELEASESTEPCREATED should be triggered for this Purchase Org .
    Istead what i think is, they might have given the Event Condition for each workflow.
    In SWDD>> basic settings>> Start Events, we can give condition on triggering the workflow.
    Please check this.

  • Event creation with status management

    Hello esteemed gurus ... it's your friendly workflow noob again
    It seems once people get a sniff that there is a someone who knows a bit about workflow in the company, everyone wants a piece of you!
    So... I have been asked to setup a workflow that will trigger when a user changes a user status on an SD contract. I've done some reading and I believe I'm nearly there but need a little help ...
    I have setup event creation with transaction BSVZ for object category VBK, specified my status profile, and business object BUS2034 and I'm using the event "CHANGED", within this I have set a status restriction to particular status of my user status profile.
    In my workflow definition I have specified the start event "CHANGED" for my business object BUS2034.
    The thing is, the workflow starts for every change to the contract, whereas I was expecting it to only start when the particular status I defined in my status management was set in the contract header.
    Are there any additional settings I need to make in order to restrict the starting conditions of the this workflow?

    Hi Neil,
    There is two options to restrict the workflow.
    First one is start condition. You can check the workflow log. If your required field is populated in the Workflow container you can use start condition to restrict the workflow. In the Basic data of workflow template, Start condition is there. You can use the condition editor to set the condition.
    If your field is not populated by default, then you can use check function module for this. You need to create one FM, and in transaction swe2, the FM needs to be Configured. The concept is, based on the Sales document number you can get the required field and check the condition inside the FM. If the condition satisfied just leave it. The workflow will be triggered. If the condition is not satisfied raise a Exception. So that the Workflow will not be triggered.

    During Manual billing event creation the mandatory columns have set by oracle as Bill amount and Revenue Amount need to be filled, always this bill amount and revenue amount is going to be the same amount.Also for the advance,invoice,retention for all the cases it needs to be filled..what z the purpose behind it??

    The revenue amount of the event will be included in the draft revenue.
    Draft revenue accounting is -
    Credit Revenue
    Debit UER (unearned revenue) or UBR (Unbilled receivables). The system will choose one of those accounts, based on the balance between total revenue and total invoices on that project. When total revenue exceed total invoices sytem debit UBR.
    The invoice amount of the event will be included in the draft invoice.
    Draft invoice accounting is -
    Credit UER or UBR (depends on the balance of both).
    Debit the Receivables account

  • Tutorial: Event Creation During Status Changes

    Hello,
    I tried to create the tutorial: event creation during status changes.
    My problem is now, that I never get a mail in my Business workplace when I start the workflow. The systems says "Workflow started" and that was it.
    Has anyone an idea where the mistake could be?

    In the workflow header you can write text under the notification tab.
    Also assign the message recipient.

  • Passing of Milestone data in BAPI_EH_POST fm for expected event creation?

    If non-sap system will try to post expected event through bapi_eh_post to sap em, Is it possible to create expected event in sap em by providing values to milestone data  in bapi eh post and attach an expected event profile for the event handler.Kindly suggest, how to create an expected event for any activity not coming from application system.

    there is no special coding needed.
    If you call EH_POST you hav just provide all the EH data in the interface.
    The link is only the Business Process Type. It is important that you fill AO Type, AO System etc. in all the tables.
    You could debug here:
    In EH creation case you should be later coming to this point:
    Inside this method EE will be generated based on your milestones.

  • Dynamic Event Creation and Handling the events

    Hi All
    I am using WAS 6.4.
    I have two components say Component A and Component B in which Component A is a reusable component and is used by other components say for e.g the Component B.
    The following is the requirement.
    Component A should create buttons for other components dynamically.
    As an example, Component B specifies to Component A the buttons required say button B1 and button B2.
    Component B also contains methods M1 and M2 for the buttons created by the component A.
    Now I would like to associate these buttons created by component A with the methods created in Component B
    The number of buttons that are to be created may vary from component to component.
    If any one as any suggestion or solution, help me out.

    Hi NagaKishore,
         I'm not exactly sure why you want to do this, but it is pretty easy if I switch it up a bit.  (Maybe you are trying to create a navigation page or something?) 
         Instead of your component B using component A, if you define a Web Dynpro interface in component A, then implement this interface in component B (or all component Bs), achieving your goal would not be too difficult.  It could define a generic method (or event) with a "button key" as an argument that would tell component B which button was pressed and allow it to behave as desired.  The Web Dynpro interface defined in A could also have an interface context that would allow the the button text to be passed along with (for the sake of simplicity) a "button key" that component that should be triggered when the button is pressed.  (Note this could be a varying size list as required.)
         The component B(s) need not be known until run-time.  They can be created using something like:
    wdThis.wdGet<Used Compontne Name>ComponentUsage().createComponent(<Component Name>,<Object Name (if in a different component)>)
         Once the component is created, the context can be accessed giving the list of buttons to create and the values.  The buttons can be created in the wdModifyView during the first pass of the creation of the view displaying the buttons (after the dynamic creation of the used components which can occur in the wdDoInit of the component controller).
         If the user presses a chosen button on component A, then the generic method (most likely an event) of component Bs interface is called and passed the "button key", component B then takes over.  Note this would also work if component B had a visualization component that must be displayed through an interface view that is defined on the web dynpro component interface that is implemented by B.

  • Short Dumps in standard HR Business Event Group/Event creation transactions

    I m getting short dumps whlile executing standard HR transactions for Creation of Business Event Groups and Business Event Types. Attaching the Short Dump text herewith. Can anyone plz. help...
      An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
      The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_DYNAMIC_OSQL_SEMANTICS', was
       not caught in
      procedure "RH_BASE_READ_INFTY_NNNN" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a
       RAISING clause.
      Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
      exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
      The reason for the exception is:
      Eine Open SQL-Klausel wurde dynamisch angegeben. Der darin auftretende
      Feldname "SUBTY" kommt in keiner der Datenbanktabellen aus der

    Cause and prerequisites
    The system wants to access table HRPnnnn  particularly by means of an entry in the infotype check table T777D. This access can be processed in various places, including in the profile generator. Here, a termination occurs if the 'ent' table/structure in the dictionary is no longer available. This generally affcts customer-specific infotypes. These have been created and possibly deleted again. However, the entry in table T777D is not available. You can also import the entry into another system with a transport of the table. If the HRP table/structure is then missing, a termination may also occur in this case.
    Solution
    You must check on an individual basis which infotype the termination refers to. If it is a customer-specific infotype, the customer is responsible for removing the cause of the termination. If the table entry is a 'remnant', the entry can simply be deleted.
    If the termination refers to an SAP structure, you should consult SAP before carrying out any further activities.

    you can create a new event only for zbusinessobjects .
    Go to Tcode swo1 just give the businessobjectname and click on subtype tab and proveide names
    you will get the interfaces attributes methods events..
    and just put cursor on events click on create button and provide name for it and a new events will create and we wont write coding for keyfields and events........ this is one way.
    and directly you can create a zbusinessobject from that you can create your keyfields attributes, methods and events.........

    Is there a way to hack this program to show the event creaton time?

    As far as I can tell, there is no way to view the creation/last modified timestamp on an event (as is possible in iOS and other platforms).   • Way to Stop Errant New Event Creation on Click in Month View?

    When in Month view in Calendar (Mac, 10.9.2), double clicking on a day creates a new event. Is there a way to change the settings so double-clicking on a day opens Day view instead of creating a new event?
    Based on how frequently I have this problem now, and the fact that I can't remember it occurring before, I surmise that this "feature" is a new addition in Mavericks? I don't like it--is there a way to change?

    Hi,
    You can do it with keyboard shortcuts.
    Select the event. Press Cmd+X. Press Cmd and right or left arrow (depending if it is forward or back in months) until you are in the correct month. Press Cmd+V to pase on the same day in the new month.

  • Event Creation from Mail is no longer working

    Hello, today I have been trying to create new ical events directly from Mail. This used to work fine and was very useful.
    Now I get the popup and fill in all the event details but it won't save. I can Cancel but hitting the create/save button does nothing.
    The only change I can think of is my recent downloading of the Google Dav syncing tool. Are there known bugs associated with that and creating events from the mail client?
