Everytime I try and download an app that's free it try's to charge my card why is that?

That is telling you that the payment method you specified is not valid, e.g., iTunes tried to make a temporary hold to verify the method (see link in my first reply) and it was not accepted.
If you know it is a valid method contact iTunes.

I am trying to purchase an app and update my apps all are free but it won't accept my card, all it keeps saying is that my payment method has been declined, I only have one card so can't try another. Now I can't use some of my apps because they are waiting to be updated. Somebody please help!!

This may be hard to believe, but I think my problem was that the built-in WiFi adapter on my HP desktop had
gotten flaky. I switched to a Buffalo USB WiFi and the problem immediately disappeared. I never saw any errors, etc. from the Ralink adapter. Strange. Might try another type of connection to the Internet. -

I got an 15 dollar iTunes card for Christmas. I took a picture of the card code to redem the card I accomplished that but when I try to download an app that cost money it asks me two security questions that I forgot the awnsers to. Than I click the forgot security questions than it sends it to my email but that's the problem I do not get any email.
You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of doing so include clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.

My iPad won't let me sign into my Apple ID when I try and download an app it asks for my id and password and when i type it in the iPad displays a message saying cannot connect to iTunes Store. However when i do this on my phone it works perfectly. Even when i sign in and out.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so how can I fix this?Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections. -
When I try and download an app, I get a message "MZCommerce.CreditBalanceMismatch.Mobile_message". This is even for free apps, and I do have plenty of credit. Can anyone help please?
With a standard account you need a valid payment method even for free apps.
From the message it sound like there is something wrong with your account or some of the information you entered in the account is not correct.. Verify that the information is correct and then if still problem contact iTunes.

Hi - in the app store, I've logged in with no problem, but when I go into my existing purchases and have INSTALL next to everything I've bought, and try to click on them it says;
"There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (100)".
I've tried restarting, clearing all caches, buying and downloading new apps (which works), and also buying and downloading more music from iTunes too (so I update all T&C's etc too, and update all payment info). When I try to download a app even for free it says my security code is wrong on my credit card but it is not wrong why is it doing that?
Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.

I've been blocked from Family sharing and now any apps that were previously purchased by my wife even before we shared I cannot download even if There free ones she wants me back on sharing but it won't let me for a year but y can't i download any apps she has ever had even free lots of apps she has but don't use on her devices are not available to me it's like I'm in trouble please help
Try calling Tech Support, they should be able to check to see if theres a lock and try to help you reset it, I had to call and get my account unflagged, for something that I didn't even do.

I've recently change my Apple ID email so I've recently went to the App Store to download some apps that I've bought a while ago and none of them are showing. I've also searched for the app and wants me to buy it again.
Do you remember the old Apple ID and password? If so try using that.
