What is your client OS/Browser?
What is the Jinitiator version?

Have you tried to clear the jcache and the browser history files?

Remediation for the remote clients
Hi Folks,
One of my main customer concerns is the patch/update process that NAC will force it on the remote clients to do the remediation (Bandwidth issue). The client does not want this update to happen from the HQ; instead it should happen from a cashed local server.
let me know if there a cost effective way to achieve this goal.You can configure Auto Remediation for all requirement types except File Distribution and Local Check

Exception while getting the server instance. Stateless bean problem
Hi,
New to OC4J, I'm moving an ear that was running ok under jboss.
1- The wep app deploys. This is a piece of code inside the init() method of a struts plugin:
System.out.println("0");
AddressFacadeHome addressFacadeHome = HomeFactory.getAddressFacadeHome();
System.out.println("1.0");
AddressFacade addressFacade = addressFacadeHome.create();
System.out.println("1.5");
2- The code is run when the web app is initialized. This is the error message I get. system.out show that the error occurs on addressFacadeHome.create().
AddressFacade is a remote/local stateless bean. HomeFactory returns the jndi lookup/narrow of the remote object.

My guess is that it's a jaas issue (because i see security and getCurrentUser), but at init time, no user is authenticated.
Any clue would be very much appreciated. Let me know if I can provide anything else, such as deployment descriptors.
Thanks,
Christophe.After spending some time on this, I looked at the source code for com.evermind.server.ThreadState
This is the code that throws the exception:
if(applicationThread != null && applicationThread.httpHandler != null && applicationThread.servletInfo != null)
try
server = applicationThread.httpHandler.request.getApplication().getApplication().getServer();
catch(Throwable t)
System.out.println("caught exception while getting the server instance " + t.getMessage());
t.printStackTrace(System.out);
It looks like this method expects a httpRequest, and would find null because I'm in the servlet.init()
(at least, that's my interpretation)
I tested my code (the remoteFacade.create()) inside of a jsp, and it worked...
So, the next logical question is:
Can I make EJB calls from within the init method of a servlet? (or more specifically from a struts plugin, which I believe should be more or less the same thing)
If so, do I need to take extra steps?
Again, any experience/help on this will be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Christophe. -

KishoreHi,
In the HTTP Receiver what is the Addressing Type used ? (URL Address or HTTP Destination).
If its URL Addressing Type, check if right Authentication Type is used with valid values and for HTTP Addressing Type check this HTTP Client Create Error, it could be helpful.
Also check if the Target system can be reached from the XI server to validate the configuration parameters.

Error while creating the HTTP client with destination
Hi ,
I am getting this error while connecting to https location on receiver channel . The below error i am getting in SXMB_moni
Error while creating the HTTP client with destination
The receiver party is doing some security setting on there end and for that purpose we have provided the external IP address to them , after that we are getting the above error.
We have already installed the client certificate on our staging server , and have done the correct setting in SM59 and channel.Check few things..
1) I believe you use specify destination for the addressing type field in the comm channel. If so make sure you entered valid target URL address in the SM59 of type http destination.
2) Check the validitity of the certificate. You can import the certificate both in java and abap stack.
3) Make sure certificate is installed as expected.
4) Send the request and talk to the target system and check what error information they get in their log related to ssl. -

i've changed the ManagedServer's Complete Message Timeout to 480(max value). Still Same problem
if anybody is having the solution regarding this problem please mail to me on [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]Babu, the PeerGoneException is wrapper for just about any failure on the t3 transport or remote JVM. Try the following:
Turn on t3/RMI debugging on the WLS server (using the console: server->debug) or try adding the some of the RMI and and General debug parameters listed here:
http://dev2dev.bea.com/blog/hoos/archive/2007/01/weblogic_server.html
And post your log here.
Also my PGE was down to missing security principles on the remote JVM:

Getting null pointer exception while running the UI project
Hi,
I created a new ADF UI project. I added a jspx, taskflow and jsff. The jsff is added in the taskflow. I dragged and dropped the TF as a region in the jspx. While running the jspx, I am getting a NPE. If I comment out the region, I see the jspx getting loaded. I tried changing the activation property of the taskflow in the page def as immediate. But I still get the exception. Please find below the complete stacktrace.
Any pointers to this will be highly appreciated.

JamesHi,
it's difficult to say what is wrong while creating the region. pls read out this doc http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/web.1111/b31974/taskflows_regions.htm for the correct steps. you can also paste your code.
