Hi Sprabhune,
It should work.
Did you install the tool by GUI or cmd?
Please select "Automatically install Windows Server roles and features that are required to install Exchange Server" to have the Setup wizard install required Windows prerequisites.
If possible, please try to install the tool on Windows 7/8 client to test.

    Hi,
To install the Exchange 2013 Management Tools, there are many prerequisites we need to understand before installation. And even
we must manually install some required software.

    Hi,
Please try the following cmdlet to solve this issue.
    set-executionpolicy unrestricted
If this doesn’t work, please try to copy the
ConsoleInitialize.ps1 from a working server to this server then reinstall Exchange management Tool.
If this still doesn’t work, we should consider to re-download  Exchange Server 2013 Management Pack from this
    site, then try to install.

  • Setup Error 1603 with Exchange 2013 incl. SP1 on Windows Server 2012 R2

    Hello all,
i've started the installation of a new Exchange 2013 with SP1 in a Windows 2012 R2 environment. New AD, no Exchange previously installed. Exchange ISO from

All the prerequisites are ok, installed also the “Unified Communications Managed API (UCMA) 4.0″ as requested.
Setup.exe i've started with "run as administrator" and all went well, until Step 11 of 15 (Mailbox role:Mailbox service).

    Bruno

    Hi,
From the error message, the cabinet file 'EngineInstanceData.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. I'm afraid you have to download a new ISO for Exchange 2013 incl. SP1 and run the setup again.
If it still doesn't work, I recommend you remove the failed Exchange server installation, then re-install Exchange server.

  • Link to download Sql Server 2012 "Standard Edition"

We have purchased Sql Server 2012 “Standard” edition license. Looking for the link to download of installation software for 2012 “Standard” edition. Have tried
a lot but could only found - the “enterprise” evaluation copy.
Looking for urgent help on this. Thanks.

    Thanks for the update.
    1. Would like to check if it is possible to download Sql Server 2012 “Standard" Edition straight away rather than doing a two step install?
    2. Assuming we do a two step install - during upgrade once we specify the license key, would it ask whether we need to change edition to standard/ enterprise or it automatically determines the edition based on the value of the license key?
    Hi,
1.Do you have MSDN subscription ? You can download from MS link directly if you have one. Please ask the vendor who provided you with License he would be best person to call.
    2. On license page you just have to enter license key that's it , after that SQL Server just knows what it has to do. It does not asks you anything about license it just proceeds

    Hi wert
    Thank you for your question.
We could run Set U to make sure the logon user is domain administrator, because we use another account logon without any problems. We could check if some permissions are missing for administrator.
We could refer to the following steps to delete administrator profile to check if the issue persist:
Open up "Control Panel | System and Security | System"
In the dialog click on "Advanced system settings" (requires Admin rights)
The "System Properties" dialog will be displayed
Make sure you are in the "Advanced" register
In the "User Profiles" section click on "Settings"
The "User Profiles" dialog is displayed
Select administrator account and Delete it.
If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

  • Connect to Exchange 2007 Mailboxes with Exchange 2013 Management shell

    Hello,
I was wondering if it is possible to use the Exchange 2013 Management Shell with the older version of Exchange 2007. When I run the console now it give me an error saying no exchange servers are available in the Active Directory site. When I use Exchange
management shell for 2007 the errors do not appear. Wondering if the management shell is backwards compatible.
    Thanks,

No. your management shell MUST be the same roll-up version of exchange. I have applied updates and learned the hard way to block all updates that go beyond the server version you are
    running.
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/240.exchange-server-and-update-rollup-bui...
To this end, you can use the same installation media that was used to install your Exchange server "Provided you are hosting your own", just install the management console instead of the whole thing,

  • Exchange 2010 management tools and others

    Win2k8 domain, Exchange 2010 servers
We want to move to Win8.1 but we, the admins, are preventing it because our tools like the Exchange 2010 Management tool doesn't work with Win8.0 so we're stuck with Win7.
I've googled around and most suggestion never worked.
Does Microsoft have any plans at all to have Exchange 2010 management tools and other tools we use to manage our domain work with Win8.1?

  • Install SSAS unattented Install on Windows 2012 Core edition

    Dear People who can help.
We are trying to offer SSAS as a Self Service solution in our company. this without giving the user SYSADMIN rights.
When we install this in a vmware environment or on a brick it does not start up SSAS. When we install it on a server with a gui it just work. Does any one know how to solve this problem in Windows 2012 Core edition without a gui?
    Thanks in advance,
    Michael

    Hi Michael,
According to your description, when you install the SSAS without GUI, it doesn't start up SSAS. Right?
When we install SQL Server via command line, we have the many installation parameters for Analysis Services. There's one parameter "/ASSVCSTARTUPTYPE" which specifies the startup mode for the Analysis Services service. You
should set it Automatic when do the unattended installation. Also you can start the SQL Server Analysis Services service manually via command line:
net start "SQL Server Analysis Services (MSSQLSERVER)"

    Hi
I have recently bought a Virtual Machine from a data center and installed a Windows Server 2012 Standard Edition on it. As I tried to install the SQL Server 2012 Standard Edition, the data center administrator denied me to do this telling me it is not possible

For SQL server running on virtual server please refer to following article :

  • Write access to a directory for ASP 2.0 application stops working on Windows 2012 Standard Cloud Server

Just moved our ASP 2.0 based web application to a Windows 2012 Standard Cloud Server.  A directory is used for temporary copying of files for the application.  The Read Write access is properly given and everything works but then stops working
in about 2.5 hours.  The settings are still there, to make things work again typically I add "Everyone" to the security list and apply and then 3 hours later I remove "Everyone" and this refreshes the security setting and things work
againg for a couple of hours.  Last Cloud server was 2008 R2 and we had no issues.  Recently moved to this new cloud server.  Code has been functioning fine for years and can not migrate it to newer ASP since will have to make quite a few code
changes.  Obviously a bug which needs to be addressed.  Again the security settings do not disappear but are no longer handled properly every 3 hours or so.

    Hi,
Is there any other files have the same issue? Please create a test folder and give the same permissions with the directory for ASP 2.0 application to see if the issue still exists.

There are MeaLink notes on how to eradicate an Oracle install from Windows, but it boils down to this:
    Stop all Oracle services
    In the registery:
    - Delete all oracle services from the register (HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet
    - Delete the entire Oralce folder from HKLM\Software
    reboot
Delete the ORACLE_HOME directory and any other Oracle related directories/files. Offhand, it seems like there is an Oracle directory under Program Files.
    reboot
