EXCISE+EXCESS CONSUMPTION +BY-PRODUCT

Hi all ,
I have got Raw material in KG , managed in batches each of certain kg weight.
when I procure i avail credit on the material & part 1 & 2 are updated .
when i consume this material against a production order , i may consume certain kgs of this material from one or more batches, partially or fully.
For certain reasons , I WANT TO BOOK THE COMPLETE BATCH  AS CONSUMPTION IN EXCISE( even if consumed partially ) AND the balance actually existing physical (partial batch) material shold be available for subsequent use in inventory.
To achieve this i wanna proceed as under :
1.Procure 1000 kg material and update entries in part 1 excise register with 1000kgs.
2.In production order , use 700kg of material BUT BOOK CONSUMPTION OF 1000kgs .Excise registers show consumption of 1000kgs , hence balance qty is nil.
3.As i want to use the remaining 300kgs i create a BY PRODUCT ( a different material) in production order of qty 300kgs.
MY QUESTION IS :
As my raw material  has a price control of "V" that is moving average , I want to maintain the byproduct with a moving average price .HOW CAN I DO IT ???
IF U CAN THINK OF ANY OTHER WAY OF TACKLING THIS PROBLEM , PLS DO REPLY ...
Regards ,
Anis

u r doing it through by product but is that again going to the PART1 ?
if so then no use of doing that.
for biproduct if u want to maitain the moving avg. price the make the Z material type where in OMS2 maitain price control as V.
or
alt solution
convert material to material by 309 movt type .
prerequisite is u have to assign this movement type as involve in excise.
E.g.
X material 1000 Kg converted to Y 1000 Kg. then ur register shows the consumption of 1000kg
then use that Y as and when u want.
maitain both as RM (with price control as V)

  • Stop excess raw material consumption against production order

    Hello
    Please Guide
Is there any  control to Stop the excess or less consumption of raw material against the Production Order confirmation.
    Eg
    Prod order Qty - 10
    Ram material reqd A- 10 piece & B- 10 Piece
So now Order confirmation Qty - 10
    raw material consumption A - 10 & B- 10
so for A or B if i want to issue (261) excess or Less qty than system should not allow this. System response to be as an error message in case I increase or decrease the Qty of A or B other than 10 against the prod order confirmation of qty 10.

    Hi,
You have to use user exit only to avoid it.
1.CONFPP02 - for checking good issue during confirmation
2.MBCF0002 - for Checking Confirmations during the Goods receipt.
For this you need to Use the User Exit:
    Enhancement - MBCF0002
    Functional Module - EXIT_SAPMM07M_001
    Include - ZXMBCU02

  • Report on Cumulating Consumptions of Production Orders

    Dear Experts
We have around 300 products and all products are having BOM. BOM main components are more or less similar in all production orders / BOM and only difference is quantities. we normally make each product production orders on daily basis based on capacity planning
Now at the end month i want to know for a particular product (say i made production orders 20 in a month with different quantities GI) how much quantity of BOM quantity consumed.
Is there anyway i can get this report
    Thanks in advance
    Vedsaidut

    Dear
The most user friendly report for your requirement will be COOIS/COHV
COOIS --Select Documents Goods Movement-Select Standrad Profile  -Provide Order Type  and Plant Code -Excute -it will pop up  with all the material list consumed against the Production Order .If you select the PO and hit decending button on the top , it will give you  date wise order list with their consumption .You can play around  with other fields as required from Change Lay out options on the top header ( coulrful cheker box)  and drag the field to dddisplay column .
Beside that you have other reqports like
    MCP5 - Material
    MCRE - Material Consumption
    CO20 - Orders by Numbers
    CO21 - Orders by Material
    Hope this helps

  • Consumption and Production qty and value report

Any one knows t-code for report that can give porduction order wise consumption in qty and value and production order wise production in qty and value.

Use report KOB1, use the standard layouts that get you this information, normally positive quantities are consumptions and negative quantities are production output.
    Thanks

  • Do not want component consumption in Production order confirmation.

How to create production order so that NO component consumption takes place during confirmation of the order.
A list of equipment comes from Delivery created by Project System. These equipments have to be assembled into a KIT.Then some of the equipments in the kit requires installing of software. Thus the kit goes though a couple of work centers.
There are no BOM but reference operation sets have been used.
The Kit is a phantom material in the business process because what the company sells are the equipments inside the Kit, where the equipments are tracked with serial numbers ( for warranty purposes) at each customer's location.
I create a production order for the kit to assemble all the equipment but when I confirm the production order with CO15, the equipments disappear from the stock and we do not want that to happen ( because we sell the equipments.)
Please help. Thank you in advance for your time and effort.

    Dear
Please remove the Backflashing reidcator if you have :
1.In material master MRP2 view of the item ,
2.In work Center where the routing operations are done , -Goto-Basic Data View -Back Flash Indicator
3.In routing Componenet Alocation -Item Line -Back Flash Indicator
4.In OPK4-un- check the setting for all components.
    Try and come back

  • SAP SD Internal Consumption of Product

    Hi to All,
We are in upstream oil and gas company , and we are using SAP SD to create sales order , oubound delivery and generating billing document for our customers.
Some of our product such as Gas is used internally for the solar turbines. Now we need to map the same in SAP SD.
Previously we were entering the this JE in the SAP system directly:
GAS USED FOR DOM.& IND.PURPOSES-TURBINE    Rs: 15000 (DR)
GAS USED FOR SOLAR TURBINE Rs: 15000 (CR)
now debit entry is created against the expense instead of customer. In our sales to customer we used to debit customer against our sales , but how can we expense out the amount against the sales directly. As this sales amount is used by the company itself.
I need to generate to create the same journal entry as mentioned above.
    Thanking you all in advance.
    Please help me on this.
    Best Regards,

    HI
I guess you will have to do a stock transfer for own consumption using transaction MB1A with movement type 201 or any other consumption movement types relevant for the scenario.
Please check with your MM consultant.

  • Possible excess consumption of RAM in Xfce 4.10

For a few days I have noticed that every time I boot ArchLinux with Xfce 4.10 is consuming me just charge significantly RAM desktop completely that...  I do not remember exactly how much memory consumed when you install Xfce, but now nothing more I load consumes about 400Mb ram. previously had few applets on the top panel monitoring such as CPU, transfers from the network interface and other things, delete them all!. remove all my settings and restart Xfce to default settings, with all this, Xfce is significant consimiendo ram.
As I said before, I do not remember how much memory consumed when you install Xfce, but I think those 363 Mb of RAM (500Mb previously over before deleting applets) is excessive memory consumption. I have Ubuntu 13.04 on another hard drive and surprisingly Unity consumes me 280MB of ram ... I can not believe that Xfce consume more ram to Unity.
Do you know of any documentation or similar for Xfce and make optimize use less RAM? Is it possible to be a bug reported?
    Thanks in advance ...

  • Excess material for production order

    Hi,
I have issue in SAP, a particular  production order unexpectedly propose very high material usage. Let's say, that actual usage per production order is 10pcs only, but SAP propose to use 15pcs.
Please help me to understand what need to be check.
    Thanks,
    Richard

    Hi Suman,
From your message i could understand that you are trying to create a production order for Finished materail.
Now if semifinished material is not available in stock, then you need to Confirm/GR its relevant production order.
If you are just testing some scenario, then you can use txn "MB1C" movement type "561" to increase the stock of the semifinished.
Generally goods issue is done with referance to Production order/Reservation,this would not allow additional issue. However unplanned issue is possible with just referance to order. This would affect the order cost and the cost difference is likely to get settled to Material.
    Hope this helps..

  • HU managed material consumption against Production Order

    Hi Gurus
I am struggling to determine how we will consume HU managed goods in production.  The scenario is for the rework or repack of finished goods.
    1)      The HUs are staged to the production area (either PSA or ST 914 in WM) based on need for rework or based on a production order
    2)      Production Order is confirmed and the inventory on HUs is goods issued.
    There are a few variations:
Ø  In a rework the HUs are reused with a reduction; that is, they will send in 100 pallets to be reworked and get back say 90.  In this case they would reuse the 90 HUs and the remaining 10 would be inactive.
Ø  It is also possible that 100 HUs are staged to production and not all the inventory is consumed in the production order.
    The basic question is:
How do we capture the actual HUs used in the production order or staged but not consumed in the production order?
Any kind of help will be highly appreciated,
    Thanks
    SK

    dear SK
if i understand your process correctly - you're after the "Post Goods Issue with HU via Production Order"?
    as far as i know:
    -you create a production order and release it;
    -WM creates a pick request from which you can create a transfer order. the execution of the transfer order results in the components that are managed in HUs at the storage location, being withdrawn and made available for production;
-you post the goods issue. depending on your organizational structure you can either use an outbound delivery or a transfer requirement as a picking document.
    good luck!

    Hi
below are the two basic scenario for which I am looking for solutions:
The clientu2019s product is glass packaging, essentially bottles (beer, wine, etc.).  They are often shipped in cartons that are stacked on pallets.A FG(material number) is defined by the glass container plus the packaging configuration  (including carton, stack height, etc.).
Scenario 1: Customer orders bottles in cartons in a 8 cartons high SKU, all SKUs in stock are the 10 cartons high SKU.  A repack production order is created to take the 10-high pallets and repack them to 8-high.  Sufficient 10-high pallets are staged to the PSA or 914 based on the TR.  It is possible that the product on all the HUs or a portion of the HUs are consumed to make the new SKU.  In the later, where not all the SKUs staged are used in production, how do we identify the HUs consumed in the production order and/or those left behind.
Scenario 2: If finished product needs to be reworked, the process would be like the above, except the product on HUs may be consumed in an open production order.  In the case of rework, the goods would most likely be manually staged.
    Thanks

  • Excess Consumption of RM during GR(101-543) of SCPO

    Dear friends,
Can u help me in this regard pl. Till 02.05.2011 everything was fine. From 03.05.2011 onwards while user creating GR against a Subcontract Scheduling Agreement it takes around 50 times more raw material (50 times more than the BOM qty) for a piece of FG
in 543 movement. BOM is ok. How it happens suddenly. Kindly let me know what may be the reasons.
    Regards,
    ASK

    Hi,
Pl. check whether consumption quantity of child item is editable at the time of GR.
If this qty is edited manually, this can happen.

  • Problem  in iOS 7, high battery consumption and excessive consumption of data exchange accounts

yesterday I upgrade to iOS 7, then I started to feel warm on the iphone and review data consumed and increasingly gained more, check detailed consumption and note that consumption was generated in "Exchange accounts" How I can fix this?

Try removing and re adding the exchange accounts.
If that doesnt resolve it then reset the phone and see hwo that goes.
You may even need to restore the iPhone from a backup in iTunes.

  • Follow-up question on BOM production and consumption of same item

Awhile back, I asked the question about whether it made sense to have a BOM structured to simultaneously produce and consume an item.  BOM that needs to produce and consume same component
Thanks for the help and it does what I thought it should.  We have a local difference of opinion on the consumption of primary components, though.  To attempt to ensure that we account for the bleed-off of materials into a vacuum system, we set up a BOM like this
    Material A    498.379
    Material B    332.253
    Material C     14.914
    Material D     22.371
    Material E     64.317
    Material F    103.570
Material F     -35.804  (This is the quantity vacuumed away, treated as by-product.)
to cover a recipe card structured like this
    Material A    481.150
    Material B    320.775
    Material C     14.400
    Material D     21.600
    Material E     62.100
    Material F     100.00
The difference of opinion is whether to recognize the reclaimed material (Material F) at all on the BOM, with a minority saying that we will not consume (and therefore not order) enough of materials A through E.  They say that "you have to put the same amount of good ingredients in as you produce because it's a closed loop system".
So the other approach would be a BOM like this
    Material A    534.252
    Material B    357.852
    Material C     15.840
    Material D     23.760
    Material E     68.310
The  material reclaimed (Material F) is sourced not only from this particular vacuum system, but from other vacuum systems outside the blending operation.
It seems to me that the first approach is correct, because we recognize consumption and production of the reclaimed item, and proportionately increase the component items to recognize that more are needed than will go out as good product.  Even the reclaim becomes reclaim.  The amounts vacuumed off seem to be consistent at 3.57%.
    Which approach is correct?

Thank you for the reply.  The reclaimed material can be as much as 11% of the total material made.  Last year, over one million kilograms were worked back into the product as reclaim, and the metals are somewhat expensive (not like precious metals, but they are not trivial, either).
Accuracy versus precision is always something to consider, but I think it's important enough to follow, especially because it is sourced from several processes.  The sourcing from the other sources means that the reclaimed material from those sources has already been reported as production of the primary product which consumes the virgin materials, so I think it should be re-introduced into the flow as a separate item (Material F)
The primary argument I want to settle is the business about how we won't order enough component materials if we use the BOM that shows simultaneous production and consumption.  I think under the approach in which we ignore the reclaim, we will consume more components from the backflush location than we physically use and would then order too much material because of using a BOM that pulls only virgin materials.
