Exclusion of Stock Transport specific MRP Elements from MRP Run

Hi,
How can we exclude specific MRP Elements from planning?
I want to exclude the MRP elements like - Ord.DS, PRqRel, PlORel etc from MRP run.
(After MRP run, they should only be displayed in MD04 and not planned)
MRP run should treat all other MRP elements normally.
Warm Regards,
Madhavi.

I think I understand what you want to do, and I think it is not possible without some major MODIFICATIONS, because it goes against the grain of what MRP is supposed to do: balance demand and supply.
One thing you might consider as a possible work-around: create a "virtual plant" say 5000, that is a plant that isn't really used for anything. Then point your special procurement keys in plant 2000 to plant 5000. This is where you then get the purchase req releases etc, and they will not affect plant 1000.
This doesn't require modifications... but it will also not display the elements in MD04 for plant 1000.
Just an idea...

  • How do I transport specific Cost Element Groups ?

I've used OKE6 to transport ALL CE groups, now I want to know how to transport specific ones ?

You can use transport of a Set instead.
You can find this in a customizing under Financial Accounting (New) -> Special Purpose Ledger -> Tools -> Transport -> Transport Sets and Variables
The thing is, that I would like to know, if there is also a possibility to delete defined CE groups in all systems/clients via transport?
    Does anyone know about this?

  • Component stock exists but MRP run generating PRs in MTO senarion

    Hi All,
My client has an MTO scenario wherein they produce based on firm sales orders. After running MRP (MD02), the evaluation (MD04) for the components of FG - RM1 and RM2, although stock is available for both RM1 and RM2, the system is generating PRs.
This is because the the components are not linked with the sales orders. But this is not helping the client in terms of planning for the components. Please suggest a way out.
I have tried checking the CHECKING RULE but no where it gives an option to consider UN-restricted stock for the sales order and not generate PRs.
    Regards,
    Kartik

    Hi,
What is the strategy type you are using for the BOM Header (FERT) material ??.
If its a pure MTO scenario (like str - 20) , MRP run will create PR's for all the BOM components irrespective of the stock situation, if you do not want certain levels of BOM to have PR's (sales order specific), you can use strategy 50 - and consume available stock for those required materials.
Go through strategy 50 and check if it works for your business requirement.
    Thanks

  • Block Stock consider during MRP Run and Stock availibility check

    Dear All,
I am facing the stock availibility check , Sytem consider the Defective material which is Block in same storage location ,and system not generate the Planned order .
-Blocked Material stock 100, and requirement 100 then system not generate the planned. Client need the system generate planned order 100 , Because 100 material is defective.
I have configured the system scope of availibility , Block stock check remove , but problem is not solve.
    Thanks
    Rajesh Tiwari

    Dear ,
Can you please re-check your MRP plant parametrs in OPPQ wether   you have selected blocked stock( Available Stock tab )  option by chance ?
Please de-select the same  and re-run MRP.Generally MRP does not consider block stock  in net requirement calcualtion .One more thing  , MRP does material avilablity check as per OMJJ set up ( define availbality chek ) but does not consider the same while doing net requirement calcualtion to generate PR rather it goes down to MRP plant parametrs ( oppq or oppr )
    Hope this is clear

  • Exclude storage locations from the MRP run

    Hi all,
Is it possible to exclude stock of specific storage location from the MRP run?
    Thanks for your help
    Thomas

    Hi,
    2 things,
    1. In OMIR for the storage location set that this location is excluded from MRP run (if am right the value to be maintained is 1)
    2. In MM02 go to MRP-4 view of the material master, specify plant & the storage location which you want to exclude & in the field SLoc MRP indicator specify that this is excluded for MRP run (if am right the indicator is 1).
The step 1 ensures that all materials which are extended to this storage location will by default have the value 1. And step 2 ensures the materials already having this storage location view are excluded from MRP run.

  • Stock Transport Scheduling Agreement

    Hello all,
I have created a stock transport scheduling agreement (ME37) from plant A to plant B.
I think I have everything ok in SPRO.
However when I go to VL10F and try to create delivery no data is found.
Can you tell me the steps to configure this? And what am I missing? Because no error message appear and if I create the same data but for a purchase order instead of sch. agreement I can do the delivery.
    Thanks in advance,
    RMC

  • SAP PM-MRP RUN

    Dear All,
Can you tell me How to run MRP in sap PM & How it is configure.
    Thanks & Regarsd
    Vishal

In Spare Parts or materials which ever used in PM orders, MRP views should be maintained. There is no specific MRP run for PM. MRP is for all the materials under the plant.
Materials availability check can be done at the time of saving the order & releasing the order. Based on the material availability, you can control order release.
For stock items, reservation will be created. While running MRP, these reservations also will be considered if stock is not available. For non-stock items, PR will be created directly from PM order.
    Material Availability check config:
IMG => PM & CS => Maintenance & Service Processing => Maintenance & Service Order => Functions & Settings => Availability check for Materials
Under that, you can find different config. This availability check will be done at plant & order type level.

  • Stock transport order between storage locations and assignment category type E not in MRP

    Hello Gurus,
I have a stock transport order between 2 storage location which belongs to the same plant. Besides the stock transport order is allocated to a sales order (account assigment category E). When I run the MD03, the system take into account the quantity of the stock transport order as a future entry and this is wrong. I need that the MRP has not into account the stock transport order as an entry.
As an important information, If I modify the stock transport order removing the account asignment category E (sales order), then the MRP doesn't take into account it, so this is correct.
Could anybody tell me how to get it?
    Thanks in advanced.

    Laura,
It is normal that MRP will consider an STO as a receipt element; this is basic planning.  It is unclear to me why you think you do not want it to do so, but I will assume you have some logical reason.
Contrary to what some others may have suggested, changing the scope of check for availability checking has no effect on which elements are considered for MRP.  MRP is a completely separate functionality from Availability Check.
For Location > Location STOs (within a plant), then, you normally have the receipt element of the STO in the destination storage location, and the requirements element of an equal amount in the source storage location.  Net of these two elements is zero, unless you have already issued the STO at the source location.
Changing the Account assignment from "E" means that the STO will not be relevant for your Sales order (in other words, when you receive this STO into the destination storage location, it cannot be used for your sales order).  In a general MTO scenario, it also means that the proceeds of this STO (the stock you received) cannot be used for ANY sales orders.
One way that some people make an STO 'not relevant' for MRP is to alter the destination storage location such that it is not relevant for MRP.  You can change the MRP relevancy of the storage location in MM02 > MRP4 tab

  • Materials for Single wbs Element from project/Plant stock

    Hi to all,
I would like to have the following scenarios for the single Project.
    1) Some  Activities  in the single WBS Element will be using the Materials for specific to the Project. So MRP will be generated for the Project and PR,PO,Goods receipt will be done.
    2) In the same WBS Element of some activity, wants to consume materials from the Plant stock. For  this we donu2019t want to run MRP. From the reservation no, we want to take the materials for project use.
I have a single Network profile and I donu2019t want to create anymore.
Understand from movement type 411, we can take the materials from unrestricted Plant stock to project.  Is there any other way/any config I need to check in account assignment category to fulfill the requirement to consume from Plant stock and also to use Project stock in a single profile.
    Regards
    N.Raju

    Hi,
that is the only option, Std. SAP does not support for unrestricted plant stock ( for Project MRP or availability check).
    same option-
    1) transfer free stock( plant stock)  to respective WBSE
    2) Run MRP
    3) Consume material.

  • MRP - stock transport requisitions

    Dear experts,
    I have a brief question:
my customer wants to have MRP generate planned orders, purchase requisitions and stock transport requisitions. Could you please explain to me how this works in SAP? I believe the procurement key will define whether MRP will create a planned order or purchase requisition. However, what decides in SAP if a stock transport requisition is generated?
And if a Material can be both purchased and transfered from another company code, what determines if a purchase requisition is generated or a stock transport requisition?
Will award point to usefull answers,
    Thanks,
    M

    M,
It is considered inappropriate to mention points in these forums.
I believe the procurement key will define whether MRP will create a planned order or purchase requisition.
No.  Procurement Type in material master.
However, what decides in SAP if a stock transport requisition is generated?
The most common method is to use a Special Procurement type in the material master or Bill of Materials.  Use one similar to SAP standard 40 (F/U) in OMD9.
if a Material can be both purchased and transfered from another company code, what determines if a purchase requisition is generated or a stock transport requisition?
I assume you are still talking about MRP-generated proposals.  When you set up a Material Master, the procurement proposal is determined by Procurement type.  If you haven't also put in a Special Procurement type, then the sourcing of any purchase req (eg, transfer or third party vendor) can be either undetermined, or can be determined using quota arrangement.

  • Intercompany billing: can price date be taken from stock transport order UB

    Hi,
I have an issue and I think that I'm not the first person who has this problem.
We are working with stock transport orders (UB) to relocate goods from one plant to the other (different company codes). We have some troubles with different prices in the purchase order and in the intercompany invoice because of different pricing dates.
    Example:
    1. the stock transport order is created on 15.02.2012 --> here the price date is 15.02.2012
    2. the delivery is created on 25.02.2012 (PGI date 25.02.2012)
    3. the intercompany invoice is created. On item level is placed the pricing date 25.02.2012
This situation may lead to a price difference, as already happened several times.
Do I have any chance to take out the pricing date from the stock transport order into the IC invoice?
    thanks for help.
    Chris

In the copy control settings (t.code VTFL), go to item level and check what value assigned in the field price source. Assign value A and test by creating new documents. If this solution does not  resolve your issue, then check the routine assingned in the field Data VBRK/VBRP. In t.code VOFM, copy this routine and create a new routine with additional code for VBRP-PRSDT to have STO pricing date and then add this route in field VBRK/VBRP.

  • How to avoid purchase req and stock transport order to take part in MRP.

Please suggest how to avoid purchase req and stock transport order to take part in MRP.

    hi,
check the settings for the MRP type...there you need to show which doc will be taken into considerations...
    SPRO >> MM >> CBP...
Under CBP check for the MRP settings where it is placed(check under master data settings)...and check for the indicator for PR's and STO's release orders under tab "Additional external req. in the reorder point planning"..
