Export from PDF to Excel continually times out and fails.

I went through the steps to convert a PDF to Excel turning off the OCR feature. Tried this several times today with or without OCR and I keep getting the error message "Adobe ExportPDF could not successfully export your PDF file (file name).pdf. The conversion of your uploaded PDF timed out."
I don't think I'm doing anything wrong as there are not too many steps to follow.
If I can't get this to do  what is expected (which is convert a .pdf to an Excel file) then I will have to cancel the subscription. I just did sign up for a paid subscription to Adobe ExportPDF. There are others in my department (45 total) who would benefit from having a .pdf to Excel file converter and I have volunteered to become the "beta tester" for this.
If anyone has any ideas as to why this is happening, I'd sure love to hear them.

  • Updating ios 6.1.3 but it times out and fails, what am i doing wrong?

Last iphone 4s was replaced under warranty due to wifi greying out and now i can't update the software on my new phone.
Tried updating direct from iphone but it fails and when attempting from itunes it says my internet connection timed out.
I've attempted 5 times now and i don't know what else to try apart from take it back to Apple Store. Can anyone help?

Temporarily disable any security software on the device and try again.

  • Macbook Pro (Lion 10.7.3) will not connect to Wi-Fi -- persistant 'connection time-out', and fails.

I can see this seems to be a common problem, and it is amazing that there seems to be no consensus (that I can find) on what the underlying problem is.
Here are the basics.... I have two Macbook Pro 13's... Pretty much identical setups (Lion 1.7.3 etc.).
One, works flawlessly connecting to Wi-Fi - whether that is my Airport Express, or any other open or closed networks.
The second, will continually refuse to connect -- to the Airport Express or even a wide-open 802.11b network.  It will continually pop up the "connection timeout" erorr, and refuse to connect...
Iphones etc all connect perfectly... Even when connecting to the iPhone hotspot - the same error.
This will happed consistently, until I give up.  I can leave it for a day (use ethernet), and come back tomorrow, and voila - it will connect.  I may be able to use it for a day or several, but once it decides to 'fail', there is virtually nothing I can do to bring it back... it will continue to fail over and over again.
All updates are applied, I've cleaned out all other networks etc from the list.  Tried all civilized things that I can.
Thoughts? Anyone have any other insight?  Think this could be a hardware issue? I was thinking to yank the wi-fi module from the working notebook to the non-working one as a test...
    Thanks,
    Brad

Change your router channel number.  Most times this works & is all you have to do.
    System Preferences>Network
    Click the Assist Me button.

  • Any app that requires internet access times out and fails

Includes both Yahoo mail and my corproate account, along with Safari web browser. Acts as if a switch has been turned off to prevent internet access. I have backed up and restored the device. Still have phone service.  All accesses DO work via Wi-FI, just not through AT&T carrier.

  • During export from Discover to Excel, Time Format changes to Number Format

    Hi
I have a seconds column which is of number datatype. But in my report, I am converting the number in *0HH:MI:SS* format. For example, I have *4952534 seconds*. So my report is showing *1375:42:14* which is a Time Format. It looks good when I view the data in Discoverer Viewer or Plus. But when I try to export the data to Excel, the time format gets converted to *4952534 seconds*, which is creating problems. So can you suggest on how can I preserve the formatting during export to excel from discoverer.
    Thanks
    Sachin

    Hi,
Excel will not implement the 0HH:MI:SS data format, it just gets the field as a number. You will have to format the field into text using the calculation from my previous post.

  • How do I maintain column formatting when converting from PDF to Excel?

How do I maintain column formatting when converting from PDF to Excel? All info is no longer on the lines or in the columns they started out being in? Any help would be appreciated.

    Sara,
Perhaps I am expecting too much from Adobe ExportPDF. The reason I subscribed to this service, for which I pay a yearly fee, was that I need a way to  convert scanned and digital documents to Word &/or Excel. I read the link you included but to be candid the more I tried to understand what was written the more confused I got. The process should not be this difficult. Currently I am using a NEAT scanner to create PDF documents of whatever I scan. After I changed the OCR setting on Adobe ExportPDF the output was much better but not to the point it was usable as it was. Information that appears to be lines and columns are sometimes not recognizing two columns and just putting them together in one. Obviously not usable. The other thing it does is bunch numbers that appear in a column that are just a bunch of numbers that I have no way of fixing.
Please let me speak to someone who can help me. Right now I not getting anything of value in my paid subscription.

If you bought Reader, you were swindled, because it's a free program. And it has never been able of converting PDF files to any other format.

    Hi PPereira,
It can take a while for a subscription order to process fully. But once it does, you'll just need to sign in to use your subscription. You'll find the Sign In look in the upper-right corner of the ExportPDF window.
Please let us know how it goes.
    Best,
    Sara

  • I am trying to export a PDF to Excel but it just says loading and doesnt go any further?

When I try to export a PDF to Excel it just saying "loading" it will not go past that am I doing something wrong?

    Hi kymperez2010,
I'm sure you're doing nothing wrong. Please try the following:
Clear the browser cache, and log back in to https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf
Make sure that you're using a supported web browser (see System Requirements | Adobe Acrobat Pro and Online Services).
Make sure that the file you're trying to convert is 100 MB or smaller (even if you are working with a smaller file, if the PDF has a large number of pages, it may be too complex for the ExportPDF service to convert before timing out.
Try a different PDF to check whether you're able to convert any PDFs in general.
Let's start there. Please let us know how it goes.
    Best,
    Sara

  • My upgrade to IOS5 for iphone 4 continually times out with error message 3259. Any ideas on why?

My download of ios5 continually times out in itunes, quoting error message 3259. Any ideas why

THIS WAS COPIED FROM A THREAD THAT WORKED FOR ME SO I CAN'T TAKE THE CREDIT
Open notepad as administrator, and direct yourself to:
    C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc
    open the "Hosts" file:
note the "127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com" portion near the bottom. your hosts may be different, and if so, then look for that part specifically. the problem for me, lied within the fact that just before the "127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com" part, there originally was no hash(#) with the space like the rest of the hosts file. This was all I had to fix. After editing and then SAVING the hosts file in notepad I restarted iTunes and the update went through without a hitch!
so if you do not see the hash and space before the "127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com" part, all you have to do is put the #, and then press tab! I hope this works for some of you guys! So just to be clear, that particular line in the file should look like:
    # 127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com
    good luck!

  • Export from ALV to Excel - problem with numeric values

    hi folks,
when exporting from alv to excel and we have negative values (and using an u.s.a. setting where . and , are different to r/3) negetive values are not shown correctly in excel.
when changing in win nt the regional settings to europe one's (e.g. germany) everything works fine.
    any hints welcome,
    kind regards
    oliver

I guess this has something to do with the excel settings. In the control panel you have regional settings.try some options there. It might work.
