Export specif tables

I need to export specific tables from a schema in database
Eg: select table_name from dba_tables where owner='ANALYTICS' and table_name like 'W_%'
This query returns around 1500 tables.
How can I take export of these 1500 tables (Passing these 1500 tables one by one is not an easy task)
So need to have some tool, where all these tables are retrieved with a " , " and in one liine

The INCLUDE parameter has a limit of 4000 bytes. Pl see these related threads for a solution

I tried a lot for this I just want to export and restore all 338 tables related to Application Dictionary from one database to another database with their constraints and data.
I tried also using datalink but it only copy the structure and data but not the constraints, I want all three should be copy in to another database.
I know their is dependency on a table to another table but i don't know exactly it..
tried it onces again i am able to do export and import tables but only primary key related to every table gets restore neither Unique key nor Foreign key , please help me out from this i can export and import with full table with data and its all constraints.
Please help me out from this problem, waiting for your valuable suggestions.
    Regards,
    Manu

ORA-02264: name already used by an existing constraint
The constraint is already exists with the same name. So drop that before issuing the import command.
    And ,
    1. Check if all tables get imported
    2. If all tables get imported then create the constraints manually
    3. If tables do not get imported then import tables manually by specifying their name in imp statement

  • Exporting Specific UCM dB tables - is this possible

Question.  Is there a way to export specific UCM Data Dictionary tables from the UCM Publisher?  Or am I forced to export the entire dB for analysis?  If I am forced to get the entire dB...the DRS backup is my only means?
From a CLI perspective, I currently do not see a CLI method of extracting dB tables...perhaps I am wrong...but not convinced.
    Looking for suggestions...thx.

    Hi David
Here is the DB dictionary where are specified all CUCM tables.
    http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/datadict/9_1_1/datadictionary_911.pdf
To query CUCM db you can use integrated AXL Sql toolkit.
In the below link, our friend William Bell explains how to use it.

  • Manual Exporting of BLOB specific table to text file

    Hi,
Our application is having 60000 record in a BLOB specific table.
My requirement is to export the entire table data to text files .
When I tried converting BLOB to sting and writing to file, it took almost 3 mins for 100 records, if so, will take so much of time in exporting data from BLOB specific table.
I am using the following logic,
    byte[] bdata = blob.getBytes(1, (int)blob.length());
    String data1 = new String(bdata);
    buffer.append(data1);
Can anyone please tell me how can I speed up the operation.

    Welcome to the forum!
If you are looking for a pure Java solution you should post this question in the JDBC forum.
    https://forums.oracle.com/forums/category.jspa?categoryID=288
Unless your BLOB data is located inline you are going to use Oracle to read 60,000 files, one at a time, and then use Java to write 60,000 files one at a time.
That will be a very slow process.
Also - your Java code is only going to read the LOB locator and inline BLOB data since you are not getting and processing the actual stream.
See 'Reading and Writing BLOB, CLOB and NCLOB Data' in the JDBC Dev Guide for details

  • Data pump export single tables with specific criteria with the API

Hello, I'm trying to export some table data from a schema using dbms_datapump API, but it gives me problems and it takes too much time to elaborate and I don't understand why! I want to export data only in a dmp file, that I will use later to import in an other schema. I'm using Oracle 10g R2 .
I want to export data from TABLE1 and TABLE2, and ONLY the first 10 rows (this is for test now). I used the data_filter to write the subquery to filter the rows, and NAME_LIST to filter table names. I've set INCLUDE_METADATA to 0, to not export metadata. But it takes 10 minutes to run, and the output log says that there was an error (after 10 minutes??!):

Welcome to the forums. When pasting code use the {  code  } tags for better readability. See the FAQ for other details. And always feel free to include all the ddl/dml for your test cases so we don't have to do much more than run your code to reproduce it ourselves.
I've had very little luck with NAME_LISTs. Though I know you can do similar with NAME_EXPR:

    SQL> create table table2 as select * from dba_tables where rownum <= 20;

  • EXPORT ONLY TABLES IN A SCHEMA USING DATA PUMP

    Hi folks,
Good day. I will appreciate if I can get a data pump command to export only TABLE oBJECT in a specific shema .
The server is a 4 node RAC with 16 CPU per node.
    Thanks in advance

If all you want is the table definitions, why can you use something like:
    expdp user/password direcory=my_dir dumfile=my_dump.dmp tables=schama1.table1,schema1.table2,etc content=metadata_only include=table
This will export just the table definitions. If you want the data to, then remove the content=metadata_only, if you want the dependent objects, like indexes, table_statistics, etc, then remove the include=table.

  • How to get search help tables of a specific table

    Hello Guru,
    I've a problem.
I'm looking for a way to find out how many "search help" tables exist in a specified Check Table.
Well, when I look for a check table of a field like MARD-LGORT
I got as a check table T001L, now when I read the data from it, using the function module RFC_READ_TABLE I got all the data that I need, except now that I don't know which fields are actually displayed in the search help table of the field LGORT
This what I want, in my case, the field that I need in the table T001L are : LGOBE LGORT WERKS
All the others, are not so important.
Please let me now, if you have an idea to find this.
The search help table is for LTGORT : H_T001L

  • Export Oracle tables and metadata to file for importation into another Db

    Hi all,
In relation to past posts I'm wondering if a tool exists that allows one to export chosen table(s), along with associated metadata (hopefully automatic incorporation of associated triggers etc) to an export file and then add (import) this data to another Oracle Database?
Looking at remote application development on specific data on a 'standalone' PC running Oracle XE at home.

    Hi,
well there is only a version of datapump.
You can set a 'VERSION' parameter for compatibility..
    Check this out

    It can help you. :)

  • Missing data when exporting specification (LS_UN_SUB)

    Hi all,
I am trying to export the specification LS_UN_SUB as a .dat file. The problem is that some data in the property tree is not exported to the file. In this case packing requirements and transportation regulations is not exported while risk classifications etc. are exported.
When I open the exported .dat file I am able to see e.g the table for risk classifications (EST0D) however the packing requirements that I believe is stored in the SAP table EST07 is not included in the file.
I have tried to change the exchange profile with no luck so far.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Table EST07 should be part of export file. I am not sure if the packing requirement ist part of EST07.
Furthermore wirh ECC 6.0 EnhPAck3 some changes happend generally in the area of DG classification.
E.g. Dynamic dangerous goods classification. I am not sure if these changes are "included" in some sense in the EH&S data download.

    Hi,
i couln't find an appropriate forum.Steven Leung said to ask my problem to this forum. My problem is:when i want to export my table or something;Oracle Enterprise Manager gives an error message at the jobs/history as:
'The system cannot find the file specified.couldn't open "C:/ORACLE/ORADATA/DB1/EXPORT.LOG": no such file or directory'
I think this error about path separator. If it searchs the file as 'C:\ORACLE\ORADATA\DB1\EXPORT.LOG' won't give error like this.Am i false? If true, can anybody have an idea about how i can change DB's default path separator? If false, why does it give such an error? And how can i solve this error?
My OS is NT4 SP4 and Oracle DB is 8.1.6.0.0.

    Alpay,
Unfortunately, this isn't the right forum either. It sounds like a very DB specific question and there is not a general DB forum as of yet. Best bet would be to try Oracle Support.

  • Error while running query for a specific table

    Hi All,
    I need your help please.
I've configured everything correctly in my SCCM environment. And i used to connect the CAS database from a separate box(same domain) which has SSMS console installed in it. Now the problem is, whenever i try to run a query in CAS database locally, it runs
successfully. But when i connect the CAS database remotely and run the same query with the same login i used in CAS, it says the below error. This is happening from past 2 days only. :'(
    Query ran :

OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI11" for linked server "abc.domain.com" returned message "Invalid connection string attribute".
I checked the SQL connection authentication information it says authenticated by kerberos using below query :

But, another wierd information is i can successfully run the below query in remote.

I think that specific table is not working in remote. Pleaseeeeeeee helppp me......
    Regards,

    Hi JaySmiley,
According to your description, you get the logon issue when connecting to CAS database remotely and execute query. Right?
In this scenario, this error can happen when the SPN account is registered without setting 'trusted for delegation' property. Account must be trusted for delegation in order for Kerberos delegation to succeed. Here's a blog talking about your scenario, please

  • Error while exporting a table - EXP-00091

I am doing an export of a table. The table has 1000838 rows. After the export is completed,
when I checked the log - it said

    EXP-00091: Exporting questionable statistics.
    Export terminated successfully with warnings.
I looked in the Oracle error messages document and found this out ---
    EXP-00091 Exporting questionable statistics
Cause: Export was able to export statistics, but the statistics may not be useable. The statistics are questionable because one or more of the following happened during export: a row error occurred, client character set or NCHARSET does not match with the server, a query clause was specified on export, only certain partitions or subpartitions were exported, or a fatal error occurred while processing a table.
Action: To export non-questionable statistics, change the client character set or NCHARSET to match the server, export with no query clause, or export complete tables. If desired, import parameters can be supplied so that only non-questionable statistics will be imported, and all questionable statistics will be recalculated.
And this how my export command looks like -
    exp vincent/passphr query=\"where state in \(\'MD\',\'CA\',\'WI\'\)\" file=$EXPDIR/fida_label_9i.dmp tables=vincent.fida_label
    log=$LOGDIR/fida_label_exp.log
Ofcourse, I am using the query clause because I really need to and it has always worked when we were in the Oracle 8i environment. We recently moved to the 9i. And this happens in this 9i version...
And I certainly do not want to specify the import parameters to ignore the questionable statistics as no changes are desired in that area...(my hands are tied..).
What could " a fatal error occurred while processing a table " mean? And how can this be traced and troubleshooted ? Or how can I find out if any row errors occurred ? And if required, how do I check the character sets and other likes ?? (I have no idea in this area)
Thanks. All I needed was to get around this error. Your suggesions/responses would be highly appreciated

What version of Oracle 9i are you using? Do you have a standard 'NLS_LANG' environment variable set on client's machines? Or do you set it to different values on different machines?
Here is one of way you could get around it.
Could you specify the export parameter 'STATISTICS=NONE' while exporting the table data?
    Try this and see.
If this is successful, you could use the import utility as usual. You could always compute or estimate statistics on the table after import.
