Extracting Value from Message Payload of the Failed Messages
Hi Experts,
We are working on PI 7.0. We have an asynchronous scenario from JMS to IDOC. Vehicle related data is being sent to SAP.
We have a requirement where in we have to extract the vehicle commission number (a field in message payload) of all the failed messages in sxmb_moni(mapping failure).
Is there a way we can achieve this? Can we write some OS level script to the same.
If yes please help me out here.
This is a critical issue.

We have done something similar, but instead of the Vehicle Comm Num, we just retrieved our Transaction ID. Please see the links below. These will send out an email if there was an issue with the message mapping.

CcBPM: can we resend the failed message from PI to R/3
Hi All,
I have a scenario where I need to process 4 separate files in a fixed sequenec in R/3. (File-1 first, then File-2, File-3 and then File-4). These files will come to PI at same time.
I understand CCBPM may be the only way to do it elegantly. (please advise if otherwise)
My questions on CCBPM approach:
1. If out of the 4 files, The first file fails to update data in R/3 (due to missing config), can I make the ccBPM to stop and not process other files.
2. So approach in point 1 above means, ccBPM will have to wait for an acknowledgement from SAP or run some RFC command to check if data has actually been posted...am I right?
3. Now, If the user manually corrects the config in R/3, can I re-run this interface from PI(read ccBPM) to start the processing of 1st file( which failed previously).
4. If it succeeds to post data in SAP, then will ccBPM ensure that all other files are sent for processing as they all need to go in a sequence.
5. Is this message re-running possible from SXI_MONITOR or for ccBPM failed messages there is something else. ( aplogies for this basic question - I am new to ccBPM approach )

Lookup1:

Important action
1. Loop Shape: SharePoint Designer 2013 support two types of loops: loop n times and loop with condition.
Loops must also conform to the following rules:
Loops must be within a stage, and stages cannot be within a loop.
Steps may be within a loop.
Loops may have only one entry and one exit point.
2. Utility Actions: It contains many actions, such as ‘Extract Substring from Index of String’ and ‘Find substring in String’.
Three scenarios
We need to loop through the string returned from the look up column and look for commas. There are three
scenarios:
1. No comma but string is non-empty so there is only one country.
2. At least one comma so there is at least two or more countries to loop.
3. In the loop we have consumed all the commas so we have found the last country.
Things to note
There are two things to note:
1. "Find string in string (output to Variable:index)" will return -1 if doesn't find
the searched for string.
2. In the opening statement "Set Variable: Countries to Current Item:Destinations" set the return
field as "Lookup Values, Comma Delimited".
Steps to create Workflow
Create a custom list named Lookup1.
Create a custom list named Lookup2, add column: Destinations (Lookup; Get information from: Lookup1 in Title column).
Create a custom list named Lookup3, add column: Country (Single line of text).
Create a workflow associated to Lookup2.
Add conditions and actions:
Start the workflow automatically when an item is created.
Add item to Lookup2, then workflow will be started automatically and create multiple items to lookup3.

How do you log values from RT target to the computer?

I am using sbRIO 9633. How do you log values from RT target to the computer?
I created a shared variable on the RT target and used them on the log VI created under "My Computer", but I get error.
I get this error..

kdmWhat are your data rates? If you are producing data "continuously", you might find that Network Streams are easier and more reliable than Network Shared Variables. In any case, you need an "engine" on one side (Host or Target) or the other. I'm streaming 24 channels of 16-bit data from a PXI controller to a PC this way, with three other streams handling two-way messaging and transmission of "occasional" time-stamped data to the PC.

BTW, "XMLDATA" is a pseudo-column used by Oracle. I don't know if it'll ever cause any conflict but maybe you should rename your column.

Problem extracting value from reference
Hi all,
I have a main VI where the user specifies a range for acquiring data. These values are then passed to a subVI which iterates a loop an according number of times. I have created a reference in the subVI which passes the position of the data acquisition in the range specified as I want to provide a progress bar which would be calculated as (max value - current value)/(maxvalue - minvalue).
I created an indicator to show the current value on the main VI which is related to the reference I created and when I run the main VI I can see this value changing correctly. The problem is that I cannot find a way to wire this value into the formula above. I tried changing the indicator to a control, but the value is not passed.
I have attached my code along with the subVIs to illustrate the problem. Current Frequency A increments correctly on the screen whereas Current Frequency B stays constant. I have also tried using local variables, property nodes and an OpenVIReference Node but none of these solve the problem.
I'm sure this must be possible so if somebody could tell me the correct way to go about it then that would be much appreciated :-)

I realised if I did the calculation and created the progress bar on the subVI and made the reference straight to that then it wouldn't required the need to bring a wire from the reference.
Still, I'd be intrigued to know if I could've done it the other way tho...

Copying the value from a cell in the SQL results?
I run an sql query. The results are returned in a results window. I would like to copy the value from this cell
and paste it into an sql query. How can I do this? I can copy and paste a value from a cell in the view of the data in
a table, but not from the test results. How do I do this? Is there a setting I need to change?I usually do this kind of operations and I've never had any issues, the procedure is as simple as CTRL-C in the results grid, with the required column/columns selected and CTRL-V in the worksheet or anywhere else.

Please Help. I received 4 emails from 1 person with the same message heading. The emails were automatically grouped Apple Mail. I replied to the latest mail in the conversation. Once sent the other messages in the conversation disappeared. I NEED THEM BACK! They all had very important attachments. I have tried looking for them in deleted items, even though I didn't throw any of them away, still cant find them. Never had this problem before. I'm pretty sure its a setting somewhere. Also tried expanding all conversations, no luck. Searching for the mails under the sent email address, no luck.
I'm sure they are not deleted but have somehow been hidden by Mail. Very frustrating.

Kash.I have found found out what has happened. I had requested a statement dating back to April 2012 from a supplier. They replied back with the latest statementof 2013 only but used the same subject heading as the previous monthly statements. Apple Mail automatically grouped these and I thought that they were sent altogether. As soon as I replied to the last email all other the previous emails ungrouped from the conversation leaving me lost as to where they had gone. They were all still sitting in my inbox but no longer part of the trcked conversation. I searched under the subject heading and all individual mails were all still there. (feeling stupid - )
