Faces change names and mixes out of control

Hi!
I have 100+ detected faces and just realized that some of them had disappeared.
Example of problem: A is gone, but found her faces combined with B´s.
When trying to manually correct some of the images the problem escalated from 3 and now involves 7 persons which have been mixed.
If I for example found a picture with A and changed only that faces name from B to A, then all of A´s and B´s pictures get combined under A´s name.
Btw, I just upgraded to Mountain Lion and the problem persisted..
It is a bit frustrating when I think of all the work I put into organizing them in the first place.

If you create a new profile, open Firefox using that, don't make changes but just test surfing, does it still happen?

Daniel,
you (normaly) just have to :
1) edit the $FORTE_ROOT/fortedef.sh fileand change the value of variable
FORTE_NS_ADDRESS
2) shutdown and restart forte environment
3) put the new values in the control panel of the client and run !
It worked on our site with the same configuration (Aix 4.2)

Using NAT to reach forte
Hello Forte Users :
    I have 2 questions to make:
    1)
    I've installed a Forte Server Central Node (Release 3.0.F.2) in an
IBM RS/6000 with OS AIX 4.2
    (The name of the server is Name_1 and the IP address is
125.125.50.50 with mask 255.255.255.0)
    Nowadays we had to change the name and IP address of this server
lets say to Name_2 and 125.125.60.60 with mask 255.255.255.0.
    After that we try to find any reference to old name and IP address
in the forte directory and all of its subdirectories changing them to
the new ones.
    After these changes we found than forte could'nt start the nodemgr
server.
    We have too many reasons to avoid installing FORTE again.
    Does anybody know if I have to change anything more to make
nodemgr server work.
    2)
    The second question is about NAT (Network Address Translation).
    To reach a Forte Server Central Node from a Forte Client we have
to pass through a Firewall and NAT.
    We are researching and at this moment we can not reach the server
from the client, has anybody any suggestion to correctly configure
Forte (Client and Server) to use NAT between them.
    If anyone could help me I would be very pleased.

You are the administrator, so you should look at the name associated with your /Users/user_name/ folder or Home folder.
Forgot Your Account Password
For Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
     When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
     Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow
     instructions in the dialog window that will appear.

You would do this using the AirPort Utility.
To change the Network Name using AirPort Utility v6.x: AirPort Utility > Select your AirPort > Edit > Wireless tab > Wireless Network Name. On the same tab, you can set the wireless security password.

Try doing a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, ignoring the red slider if that appears.
If that does not help, take the iPad to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs check out the screen to see if there is a hardware fault.

Forgot User Name and Password for Parental Controls

I apparently have forgotten the user name and password for the parental control feature in itunes. How do I recover the information or unlock the controls?

I tried entering the same information as my computer user name and password and it does not work for locking Parental controls. What is weird is I can Log on to Itunes and my computer but it will not lock parental controls. What I am trying to do is keep anyone from changing the settings. Again I enter the same information as my computer but it DOES NOT WORK!!!!

Wage type texts can not be changed with date parameters if you wanted to distinguish wage type text period to period or year to year is not possible as of now, we have to differentiate them with different number XXXX - Basic YYYY - Personnel.

The mouse pointer and keyboard can not control. Only powe button can use.

Not a solution, I'm afraid, just concurring -- I am experiencing a very similar problem with the keyboard, but not the mouse pointer. I get an intermittent temporary freeze lasting maybe ten seconds, after which it recovers. Although I suspect waking the machine from sleep may set these off, I couldn't swear to it, and I have experienced several of these sequentially, maybe five minutes apart.

Hi Daniel,
we had similar problem on HP-Unix OS. The client
changed the IP address of the server for some reason.
Then we got 'Can not resolve the IP address' error
(or something like that). Finally it turned out that
the OS references more than one file to resolve the
IP address. Somehow the second file (I am not Unix
guru but my colleague said he never knew about it)
had its properties changed to execute only. If you
have the same problem you might do two things:
1. Create small C program using GetHostByName method
(it should have the same name on AIX I think).
Execute it and see what the OS will say.
2. Contact Forte tech support - they have that code.
We were told by Forte this is the first thing Forte
does when connecting.

Yeah I know the listner SHOULD be the only thing that needs to know the server's network information. However, databases are big, complex pieces of software, and I'm just a bit paranoid that there's some system variable that needs to also get changed that I might be overlooking.
You suggested I might need to change the global_name... Upon further research, I've found references to other variables that may need to change... local_listener, remote_listner, and dispatcher. (Note: I don't have the Oracle documentation handy so I can't verify how valid those are.)

This is something that has plagued BusinessObjects Edge/Enterprise admins for a while--you can't change the server name for BusinessObjects XI 3.1 once it has been installed. There were some forum posts going around, with people trying with limited success but given the range of products and technologies in BusinessObjects (CR, Webi, Voyager, Xcelsius, QaaWS, Explorer, etc.) the server name is embedded in too many places to be able to successfully change the name. Your best bet would be to install BOE on a new server with the correct name then use the Import Wizard to swing the content over.
On the Data Integrator front, you could probably rename the server and then delete and recreate your DI Job Server-- most of the meta data for DI is stored in the local repository database, so you may have a shot. I would definitely test this theory out on a development machine before trying it in a production environment!!
