Factsheet Dynamic Links CRM 2007

Hi Folks,
Is it possible to have dynamic links in the factsheet in CRM 2007 Web client?
I've seen this question on here a few times and both yes and no have been given as answers!

Hi Sree,
Thank you for your response.
The dynamic links we require are the following:
Links that when you select them bring you to a particular R3 transaction.
Links that when you select them bring you to a particular CRM transaction.
The fact sheet is going to contain information from CRM, R3 and BW concerning individual Customers. We are hoping to be able to make this a bit more user friendly by allowing information to be clicked on to bring the user to the selected transaction.
Is this possible?
Thanks,
bubbleabu

  • FAQ: User Interface Guidelines for CRM 2007 are now available

The CRM UI Concept Team has made the UI Guidelines for CRM Web Client User Interface (CRM 2007 UI) available to the BPX community:
This document provides an overview of the on-premise as well as the off-premise versions of the SAP CRM Web Client User Interface (UI). It contains the properties and principles of the SAP CRM Web Client UI that are already committed and available. For planned features, refer to the corresponding specification documents.
The information in the guidelines starts with general topics, followed by details. The sections are organized with high-level topics like Page Types and Navigation Schema first, followed by the consecutive sections describing which building blocks and elements of the UI populate the various pages. A section typically starts with one or more screenshots of a central UI element with a generic explanation. The subsequent sections explain the detailed aspects of each element.
We hope that you will find this information useful.

  • How to login CRM 2007 BSP page use account domain of Microsoft AD

    Dear friends,
I am finding solution to setup system with the requisite:
    - Login to CRM 2007 Business Server Page use account domain which is managed by Microsoft Acitve Directory.
    - Users use only web browser, they didn't use SAPGUI and they must type username, password ( their username, password are managed in Microsoft AD, not in SAP system) in every login to BSP page, don't use solution like X.509 client certificate.
I used to configured using SNC and I could login to SAP System using SAPGUI without type SAP username and password when I log in my computer by account domain( my computer is joined in domain).
But my requisite is have to use account domain( username and password)  and type them in web browser when I want to log in SAP system, could not configured to go to directly SAP application ( BSP page ) without type username/password of account domain.
After time looking for solution about authentication :
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/index?rid=/webcontent/uuid/8039306e-cea4-2a10-15b9-8e96d40c51ef [original link is broken]
I think may be I could login to java portal by used username/password of account domain to authenticate after login  to portal I use SSO to switch to BSP page without type username password again. This solution may be accepted because I was login to SAP application from web browser and used account domain.
Could you show me, there are anymore solution or how could I do to to set up my above solution.
    Thanks and Best Regards.

The normal way to do this is to configure the authentication stack required on a JAVA stack (e.g. portal or standalone Java instance of NetWeaver or dual stack) and then configure the BSP app in SICF transaction to redirect to Java stack when no SSO2 ticket is sent by browser (e.g. user has already authenticated). The redirect to Java stack will be done, such that after user has authenticated to Java stack they will be issued with an SSO2 ticket and redirected back to the BSP app URL. From end users perspective, they will access the BSP app URL and get authenticated using Active Directory, and they won't know about the redirection since they will be logged into the BSP app once they have authenticated.
The authentication using Active Directory can be done using two methods:
    - Using credentials already on workstation from workstation logon, e.g. using Integrated Windows Authentication
    - Showing user a form where they enter AD account and password.
    Thanks,
    Tim

  • Configuring Fact sheet for CRM 2007

I did exactly as said, factsheet shows under my nav bar, but when i confirm BP and navigate to factheet. It is not showing default view which inlcudes Ibase, Email, Lead and so on
All I want to see is my master data marketing attributes, physical address and previous transactions of that BP
Please advice what to do or what Im missing
    Thanks
    Jogi

    Hi,
In component BSP_DLC_FS and View factsheetyou can select the page type and once the Layout type is chosen, you can select your Fact sheet views from available Fact Sheet Views and there you can assign your views.I think you must have activated the fact sheet button for your PFCG Role.
I went to Component BSP_DLC_FS and clicked on display.
Went to views and selected BSP_DLC_FS/factsheet. Where exactly do I select the page types and layouts and my factsheet views? Still fairly new to the the BSP_WD_CMPWB  so please excuse

  • CRM Content Management in CRM 2007

Currently, we are upgrading our CRM system from 4.0 to CRM 2007. In 4.0 this is how, we used to assign the content management alias in IMG.
CRM->Basic Functions->Content management->Define Alias for MS office Integration in the People-Centric.
What should we do in CRM 2007?
Secondly, we used to Define Document templates in the following way.
CRM->Basic Functions -> Content Management -> Define document Templates
This path in IMG is missing. Is there any other alternete way in CRM 2007.
Thirdly, in 4.0, we implemented the BAdi CRM_DOC_TEMPL_BADI for custom attributes and filters. How is it done in CRM 2007?
I greatly appreciate your kind answer.
    Anna

    Hi Anna,
When you say "Letters View", are you talking about the assignment block "Attachments". I dont see any letters view in my Sales role.
    Regarding your other question,
One thing is that I don't see a connectivity between the IMG activity and the object designed in the Template designer. Am I missing something else?
Well in the customizing we are barely defining anything apart from the transaction type. This transaction type has a Business Category say-BUS2000126.
Now in the template designer we are saying that we are defining the webtemplate for the BO BUS2000126..Thats how they get linked. All the BUS2000126 objects will have that link then.
Let me try configuring it for BUS1006 object as is in your case.
    Thanks,
    Anand

  • Help needed in Service Ticket view version CRM 2007

    Hi,
We have a requirement to replace the Service Level Agreements with Location details screen (custom defined) in the Service Ticket View. I did this in 5.0 version, but couldn’t replicate it in the CRM 2007
    version.
Here is how I proceeded in the new version.
Instead of creating a new view, I approached the Adding required
context node approach and populated the fields that we need.
    1. I enhanced the component ICCMP_BTCTR
    2. I added Context node BTActivityH ( I did not link it to any CutomController in the wizard, but defined dependency to Higher LevelContext node BTAdminH, with BOL relation, BTHeaderActivityExt, and
activated the check box “Always Create Instance” and let the the wizard to finish off.
    3. Then using the UI Config tool, I copied the standard configuration to my custom config for changes, I removed all the 3 fields that are there in the standard configuration, and replaced with the attributes
of BTActivityH using UI Config tool in the component work bench. All fields are Input ready fields (not set for Display only).
    4. When I open the Service Ticket view to access these fields, in the UI of Service Ticket, I realized that they are display only fields.
    5. Then I created the attributes, ( to access GET_I_S_*) methods of the attributes, and I externally set rv_disabled = ‘FALSE’ in the metod (say GET_I_S_CITY)
    6. Now I am able to input values for those fields, but still I am not able to save those entries that I entered in there.
I guess I am missing some thing in the wizard, like linking custom
    controller or dependency relations.
Is it mandatory for me to bound the context node to component
controller Node (BTActivityH). If so how can I bound it.
    Please advice me.
    Thanks and regards,
    Sreekanth

    Hello Sreekanth,
I think that the fields are read-only and not saved because your context node is not bound to a custom controller. (Even though your higher level node, BTAminH, is probably bound to a CuCo)
The code to perform the CuCo binding is mostly coded in the CREATE_BTACTIVITYH (controller class->typed_context->create_btactivityh or check create_context_nodes to see how the method is called)
    like this:
      owner->do_context_node_binding( iv_controller_type = cl_bsp_wd_controller=>co_type_custom
                                      iv_name            =  <name of the CuCo>"#EC NOTEXT
iv_target_node_name = '<the context node of the CuCo to bind to>'
                                      iv_node_2_bind = <your context node> ).
Now, save yourself a headache and a lot of debugging time and just create a new context node through the wizard again, this is much easier than trying to 'fix' it yourself! Once you have created your new context node you can delete the old one by deleting the attribute in the typed_context class.
    Hope this helps!
    Reward points if useful!
    Kind regards,
    Joost

  • Help needed in displaying BI Queries, Views in CRM 2007

    Hi Friends,
I am working on an upgrade project( CRM 2007 from CRM 5.0). In the earlier system, there are using portal for opportunity management. In portal on clicking Reports workcenter link, they were getting the following options.
Open Query - This gives the list of BI Queries.
Open View - This gives the list of views that are already created.
Save View - This gives the provision to save the view.
Now i need to replicate this functionality in NEW UI(CRM 2007). I am stuck up in how to approach this requirement.
Any pointers on this will be really helpful.
    Thanks,
    Udaya

    Hi,
BI Content is shipped in the delivery version (D version). Before you can work with BI Content objects, you have to copy them from the delivery version (D version) to the active version (A version). This means that you must activate the BI Content.
You can collect the delivered BI Content in the function area BI Content of the Data Warehousing Workbench and copy it to the active version. This ensures that all additional required objects are automatically included, as is the sequence of activation. You can choose whether you want to copy, match, or not install the BI Content objects.
If you do not compare the versions, the delivery version is used and the active customer version is overwritten when you activate the BI Content.
We recommend that you install BI Content objects in the following cases:
After a BI Content release upgrade
An upgrade to a new BI Content release usually contains a large number of new and modified BI Content objects. If you want to use the new and modified BI Content, you have to reinstall the BI Content objects. Refer to the comments in the Release Notes for BI Content documentation for the particular release. They are available on help.sap.com  ® SAP NetWeaver  ® BI Content. In some cases, we recommend explicitly that you install the A versions of certain objects.
After installing a BI Content support package
Refer to the SAP Notes that are delivered with each Content support package. These SAP Notes contain information on why certain BI Content objects are being redelivered. An overview of the SAP Notes can be found at service.sap.com/bi ® Product Information SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI ® Support Packages ® BI Business Content.

  • Standard CRM 2007 reports

i am not able to see any standard reports in SAP CRM 2007.
Where can i get to see the reports. I do not want to link to SAP BW.  Without SAP BW, where can i get the reports.
    Thanks
    amit

    Hi,
as i know there is a concept of reporting in SAP CRM 2007 without using SAP BW.
This reporting works with an own reporting client in your SAP CRM system.
In CR580 training i saw that after creation of this reporting client and creation of the SM59-connections you will be able to use a wizard in CRM 2007 to create reports.
But only a view opjects are available for this reporting without BW for examle Sales Order.
If you have detailed requirements i´m pretty sure this will not fit your needs.
Maybee you will find more information about this reporting client in the help-portal.
    I hope this helps.
    thank you.
    Best regards

  • CRM 4.0 alerts in CRM 2007

We had configured a number of alerts in CRM 4.0.  We have recently upgrade our system to CRM 2007 and these alerts no longer work in the CRM 2007 web IC.  is there a conversion process or do these need to be recreated from scratch?  Any documentation on this topic?
I look forward to your response on this issue.
    Regards
    Eddie

    Hello Eddie,
Yes, in general alerts, interactive scripts, navlinks, and other items need to be recreated in when moving from CRM 2005 (or lower) to CRM 2006s/CRM 2007 or higher. In the case of the alerts, the old XML based alerts (used in CRM 4.0) and the newer IMG configuration based alerts (CRM 5.0) are both replaced by a new BSP-based tool called the Alert Editor -- which is available in the IC Manager busines role. The new alerts use the new target ID navigation concept, which is part of the reason the old alerts don't work anymore (for alerts which contain navigation links).
    Warm regards,

  • What is used in CRM 2007

    hi  Experts,
I need some clarifications regarding the CRM2007 UI Architecture.
Is Webdynpro ABAP or BSP is avilable in CRM 2007 or both avialable in 2007?
What is the UI stretegy in CRM2007? what is the Architecture of CRM2007?
We are planning to upgrading CRM 5.0 to CRM 7.0 ?
Is this CRM 2007 supports the ABAP Webdynpro or BSP or both?
    Regards
    Vijay

    Hi,
CRM 2007 and the new WebClient UI is completely based on BSP. If you have been working with the IC Webclient in CRM before, it is the same technology.
WebDynpro can be called from the CRM WebClient as an external HTTP link.
The UI Strategy... maybe this is what you mean Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) Otherwise ask SAP for some nifty PowerPoint presentations, I suppose they will be happy to provide them to you.
The upgrage from CRM 5.0 to any version above will be considerable effort as nearly all UI parts need to be redone in BSP. However there is the mentioned possibility to call HTTP capable elements via hyperlink. As well there is the transaction launcher which can bring old GUI applications to the new UI (no, not convert them, just show the old application).
    cheers Carsten

I want to know the steps to upgrade to CRM 2007 from CRM 5.0.

If it helps, you can get the Upgrade Master Guide document at:

    Hello Jushan,
while debugging in business partner I saw some stuff about the CFS.
Have a look at method CL_BP_HEAD_BPHEADOVERVIEW_IMPL->IF_BSP_WD_TOOLBAR_CALLBACK~GET_BUTTONS()
In it do a search for "--- Factsheet". This will point you to the weired code I stumbled upon.
Do not know if it will help you. Maybe you can just assign yourself this User parameter or debug around it. By the way, it will show the button for CFS in the business partner overview page. Never tried to click on it though.
