FCPX 10.1 Update library - WHERE IS ALL MY STUFF??

Where is all my stuff? When I updated 10.1 I receive the message to convert all of my projects and events to the new version and like a good little committed sheep I selected update all. The update crashed midstream. When I selected the convenient little "Reopen" button. I got this...
I've Attempted to open the Macintosh HD's projects and events folder and FCP crashes. Can anyone tell me how to get my stuff back? Where is the roll back button? I'm stuck!!!

Download the free app "FCS Remover" from Digital Rebellion (dot com).
Run it to totally remove FCP X. It won't touch your Events or Projects.
Reboot your Mac.
Go to the App Store, reinstall.
If you still don't see anything, you can manually update your stuff. Check out this article.

"Unlike". iOS 7 doesnt display well on my 4S. iOS 6.1.3 should still be supported for older hardware. I think I shall me moving to Samsung Galaxy now. Was really hoping hte new iphone would get a bit larger.

Same as you would if you bought a pc; copy everything from your old computer to your new one. Then you can just sync everything from the new computer, as you did with the old one.

If you upgrade from 10.6 to 10.7/10.8 yes there is a risk you can lose your files if something goes wrong requiring a erase and install to fix it.
Your PPC programs will not work in 10.7/10.8
Mac's earlier than a Early 2011 machine shouldn't really upgrade to 10.7/10.8 due to slow performance issues.
If you Software Update from say 10.6.3 to 10.6.8, there is less risk, but possible.
You should make backups regardless, a 10.6 clone and extra copies of files on a external drive.

Purchases go in your library. They'll be listed in the main section for each type of content, and normally also in the Purchased playlist. Was the song ever in your library, or have you been totally unsuccessful in getting it to download?
I am tried of repurchasing songs. You should always be able to access any song you've bought in the past!
Unfortunately the content owners do not as of this time agree. All the major download stores have the same "one purchase one download" for content other than apps because the content owners require payment for every download whether or not it's a new purchase.
If you can post more details about your setup, software versions, and the exact nature of the problem, perhaps someone here can help you figure out what's going on.

Where is all the stuff from my devices on the iCloud?

I am a total iCloud virgin. All of our devices are hooked up to the icloud and update to it, but when I logged in with my Apple ID for the first time today all I saw was my calendar, contacts, mail, etc... But I can't tell how I can access all my stuff that updates to the cloud from my phone, i.e. photos, music, etc...
Where is it and how can you view it?

You can only view photo stream photos on an iOS device or computer that is signed into your account with my photo stream enabled; you can't view them on icloud.com.
Music is not synced with iCloud. You can download music previously purchased from the iTunes store from iCloud but that is "iTunes in the Cloud", which doesn't use your personal iCoud account (and in fact doesn't even require an iCloud account). It is merely redownloaded from the iTuens store.
You can view all your data from within th apps on your devices that are syncig data with iCloud (calendars, contacts, notes, reminders, etc.) What you see on your device is the same data that is in iCloud. You can't view your backups anywere. You can only see that you have a backup in iCloud (by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage); you can't see view any of the data in the backup, you can only restore it to your device if you need to.

1st Gen Ipod touch - 'updated' library by deleting all but newest

Hi all. A couple of days ago I probably hit the capacity on my 16gb 1stG touch, after downloading a couple of podcasts. It 'updated' my music and video library, deleting all but the newest items.
I'd like to know if my old stuff is still on there - I haven't synced it to a computer since my computer crashed, though we do have carbonite so not all is lost. Was just hoping I wouldn't have to go through all that - that the music and video would still be in there somewhere!
I have used the Touch Copy software before and have put this same question in to their support. Any help / advice would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!

I've had the same thing happen multiple times over the last year. It always follows downloading podcasts through iTunes (not through a podcast app).
I've only ever fixed it by re-syncing to iTunes. However, I'm away from my computer and no don't have access to any of my music or audiobooks.
I'd love to know how to fix it from the iPod only. I've just power cycled and reset (hold wake/home buttons til it reboots) with no impact.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately, a number of users appear to have encountered this problem. Some of these users have reported that the problem just disappears the following day or shortly after. Other users have found various other solutions to this problem.
Firstly, are you receiving any date and time errors when you turn on your Apple TV?
Check that you are properly connected to the Internet, by ensuring that you have a proper IP address and not one starting with 169. Also check that your location for the iTunes Store is set correctly, if so you might try changing it and then changing it back.
If the problem persists try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds, or resetting it using the reset option under general. You should also try restarting your router, or if this doesn't work you might like to try a restore.

Since yosemite fcpx won't update or work at all!

Updated to Yosemite this week had no issues except that now FCPX won't work at all. I purchased it in July 2012 and currently have FCPX 10.0.9 It shows on my hidden purchases on the app store with my current apple ID but it will not let me update it or open it at all. Instead it wants me to purchase a whole new app for $299. Any help on how to resolve this would be much appreciated.

FFirst step: move it out of hidden purchases and leave it out. If it says installed, move the app from the Applications folder to the trash And redownload it.
NExt, read up on working with 10.1 and 10.1.2 as these are significantly different from your current version. Do this before updating your projects and events. Start here

After 10.3.1 update Library intact BUT all apps appear in download queue

After completing the upgrade to 10.3.1 tried to sync phone. Itunes automatically went to Itunes store and started to download apps I have already downloaded and updated long ago. Time to download then went to 6 hours and itunes froze.. Rebooting machine and re-starting itunes continues the loop. I replaced library with "previous"....initial loop was gone for a few minutes and then store wanted to download 115 apps.
How do I get my "library" back to reflect current app status and not have it want to download everyone app again and FREEZE?

Beware that it is completely destructive...the device will be "like new"...no data, no apps, no accounts, etc. Be sure you take a full backup first, as well as make full manual documentation of all apps, accounts, configurations, etc. Sometimes a restore reintroduces the very corruption one is trying to eliminate, and manual reconfiguration is necessary.
You can also use this to fall back to a prior OS if you desire...you can install any OS level for which you can find an AutoLoader. (Hint...search over on the CB site!)

ITunes update Where is all my stuff

I let iTunes do an up date. Now 3000 of my songs are missing, no play list no iPhone, or any other menus. only list maby 100 songs and EVERYTHING else is gone! How do I get my stuff back?

Gone from iTunes or gone from your computer as well? Usually it is just the former...
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

Do you still have the music on your Nano? If you have any iTMS purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. A paragraph on it has been added to this article: Transfer iTunes Store purchases using iPod
The transfer of non iTMS content such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Where is all my stuff?

On my Macbook Pro, I signed in to iCloud, and do not see anything except a Apple Launch screen with some icons, but no photos and not all of my documents are there. I don't see anything from Safari backed up there, either.

Photos are stored in your iPhoto library and synced using iCloud if Photo Stream is enabled in System Preferences > iCloud.

I can't find tools, add-ons, Sync (tabs, bookmarks, etc.). I've clicked on every clickable thing. Where is all this stuff? I prefer a menu with words I can read rather than pictures I have to guess, but I've clicked on every icon and can't find anything.

I just need someone to tell me how to access my add-ons, tools, options, Firefox Sync (including my tabs and bookmarks from other computers), and so on. Where did it all go?

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
