FI : Sales Tax Data
Hi All,
FI Document is in Parked Status . We can get the parked document from VBSEGS table and VBSEGK table . But , we are unable to get sales tax account line item entry.
Can anybody tell us how to fetch the data ?

Check the following checklist and try.
1. For tax code used, check for percentage value maintenance for the relevant condition type in transaction FV13, if maintained check for date validity and deletion indicators.
2. Tax code should be assigned to company code at: Logistics - General -> Tax on Goods Movements -> India -> Basic Settings -> Determination of Excise Duty -> Condition-Based Excise Determination -> Assign Tax Code to Company Codes.
3. The condition type used to maintain the tax code, as seen in FTXP. should have MVST or MWST as the access sequence in OBYZ settings, based on input or output tax respectively.
Hope this resolves the issue.

Hi Experts ,
getting the following error in while creating a "Rental Contract" through the T. Code RECN while trying to enter data in the " Conditions" tab page of the contract . Have made all the entries in in the Posting Parameters tab ( e.g. Payment Method ,House Bank ,House Bank Acct ,Bank Details ,Tax Type ,Tax Group) but still getting this error

Message no. RECD076
Diagnosis
The sales tax data in the posting term is inconsistent.
Procedure
Switch to maintenance of posting terms and correct all errors that are shown there.

i did the customisation for for new condition type and contract in configration
but the problem is while creating the contract in recn based on the new contract type and condition type i got the error like

How to handle the US Sales Tax
Can anybody let me know how to handle Sales Tax of the US within Oracle Retail?
I found that there is a sales tax functionality in RMS (that is Tax Rate Batch) which prepares appropriate sales tax data and sends a flat file to the customer's POS system.
My questions are:
1. Is it standard to manage the sales tax by POS systems in the US?
2. Can the customers use POS log data in ReSA, instead of in the POS system, to generate sales tax reports?
Sorry if my questions might sound funny, that's because I'm not familiar with the US tax system..

BODJust to save time for others who have the same requirement , use below, fill the structure with sales order and other details. Leave the posnr blank if you need document flow , else fill the posnr if it is item level.

BP Sales area data can't be replicated without the tax classification saved
Hi Gurus,
We're facing a funny problem here. Our project is using CRM 7.0 integrate with ERP 6.0. CRM is acting as a leading system, which means BP would be created from CRM only and flows to ECC. At the very beginning, we were not able to replicate the BP sales area data to ERP, and an err msg in SMW01 says "tax classification not defined." even i've indicated the tax classification in the BP already. And the sales area data was stuck there forever, never go to ECC.
Later we found out that, the tax classification must be saved before we maintain the sales area data. and it worked fine if we follow this rule.
And we checked the middleware program, it always delete the tax classification when update the sales area from the CRM data flow.
Please advice if this is the standard behavior, if yes, how to make the process make sense and prevent the data flow stuck.

Taxes in billing document tab in sales area data in customer master record.

I have a problem here. There is no country IN in the taxes in billing doc tab in sales area data. What is the settings for getting the same in customer master record?

Go to the transaction XD02 then enter your Customer Number which is giving problem then go to the Sales Area Data-->Billing Documents Tab,there you check whether you have entered the tax detailes or not,
If not entered , enter the tax detailes.
-->If the tax detailes not coming in the Customer master >Sales Area data> Billing Documents tab
-->Also check the settings related to between Country (IN) and Tax Condition type (Tax Category) in the transaction OVK1
-->If the Tax condition type not assigned to the country IN assign the tax type to the country IN in the transaction OVK1.
-->Check OVK3 transaction also.

LSMW RMDATIND Sales Orghanisation 1 tax data
Hi,
I try to build an LSMW to create Material Master Sales: Sales Org DAT 1 view.
For a gived material, I need to add tax data for several tax cateroryand tax classification for at leaste two countries.
For example :
MATNR COUNTRY TAX CATEGORY TAX CLASSIFICATION
SF01 FR MWST 0
SF01 FR LFRC B
SF01 DE MWST B
I use BMMH2 like this :
ALAND TATY1 TAXM1 TATY2 TAXM2
FR MWST 0 LFCR 0
DE MWST B / /
In that case, tax data are created for FR :
SF01 FR MWST 0
SF01 FR LFRC B
But the second line is not take into account but there is no error message. That mean, I can add several tax data line for one country but not have a seond country.
So, how to deal with tax data for several countries ? Is there some option ti use ? Maybe STYPE field of BMMH2 ?

This is one scenario which i implement in my LSMW, just go through this and try by change the logic as per your requirement.

if BKNVI-ALAND = 'US '
and BKNVI-TATYP = 'UTX3'.

and BKNVI-TATYP = 'UTXJ'.
BKNVI-TAXKD = '1'.
endif.
Here default transfer_record from lsmw will call....

Tax date in sales orders and invoices (Billing)
Hello Experts,
I have an issue related to Tax date in sales orders and Billing documents.
In our environment we calculate taxes at the time of sales order creation and billing document (invoice) creation.
Currently we modified 'ZXFYTU03' exit to pass tax date which is system date. Our business processes are such that, there is a gap of 3-5 days between sales order creation and billing creation. So for some orders we see tax discrepancies between order and billing.
Through forums I understand that we can use 'service rendered date' at sales order item level. Solution would be passing date in 'service rendered date', we can pass date in 'service rendered date' field in sales order.
The problem is to copy same date in billing document 'service rendered date'
Does anyone have any idea how we can copy the sales order service rendered date to invoice service rendered date?
Through forum i understand that we can use copy controls, data transfer routines etc...Appreciate if someone can guide me on how i can use these...

PradeepTried 2 options...
1. Modify program RV60AFZC (FORM USEREXIT_FILL_VBRK_VBRP) to pass VBRP-FBUDA = VBKD-FBUDA. But in later part of the process, in SAPLV60A-LV60AA21 (perform fakturadaten_lieferbezogen), VBRP-FBUDA is overwritten by LIKP-WADAT_IST which is goods movement date. So this is not solving my problem.
2. Modify program ZXVVFU08, to get service rendered date from VBKD-FBUDA based on CVBRK-XBLNR (Sales order) and populate CVBRP-FBUDA. But unfortunately this user exit is being called after user exit 'ZXFYTU03' where tax related data including tax date which is being passed. Somehow tax date in this user exit 'ZXFYTU03' is document creation date which is system date.
With 2nd option, service rendered date from sales order is copied to invoice doc, but the tax is calculated based on document creation date since the tax user exit 'ZXFYTU03' is being called first...
Per this, coustom routine did not work...

Conditions in Purchase Order - No scroll bar/Sales Tax value not in mmr

I am stuck in a weird problem where I have created a Condition Calculation Schema, assigned it to Schema group and assigned that schema to vendor, but when i open my condition in the PO, it does not give me scroll bar i.e. I have calculation Schema with around 10+ conditions, but when I try to put all the conditions in PO at one time, the scroll bar doesnot come up and without it, I cannot view all my conditions in the PO. Its saving the conditions though as seen in report, but cannot display it in PO without the scroll bar. Any ideas?
Another assignment is that sales tax value and % should not increase the mmr value at time of GR, but when I do GR its adding the sales tax value to mmr value, my requirement is just Gross price be added to mmr, not sales tax value/%. I tried the Statistical checks in Calculation Schema, but to no vail, at GR the sales tax value is being added to the mmr record. Any ideas?

Dear Afshad,
Reference to your question, you need to do few settings in your Condition Type and Pricing Schema, if you need Sales Tax value & % not to include in your Material value.
1 - In SPRO, Check that in your condition type, Control data 2 tab, Accruals check box should not be selected.
2 - In your Calculation Schema, against your condition types for Sales Tax % and Sales Tax Value, select the check box for Manual & Statistics.
3 - Also in your Calculation Schema, you should not select any account key in AccKey (Account Key) and in Accruals colomns.
If any one of these setting is not defined, the valuation price for your material will be increased due to the fact that your settings for Condition type and Calculation Schema is allowing the same to hit the value of your material directly.

I am getting all other taxes only sales tax condition is not appering? can any 1 tell about this?u check whether sales tax condition type is assigned in fvll correctly to the same tax code
u assign the conditon type in excise defaults ( spro>log gen> tax on goods mvmts>india> determine excise duty> maintain excise defaults
and also check the validity periods.
If PO date is not falling with in the validtiy periods then system will not pick the valuye

Account Determination for Tax using Sale Tax Code
Hi,
We are using TAXINN and sales tax codes. We are using JTX1 condition in our sales pricing procedure for which we r maintaing condition record with correct tax code applied to it. We have assigned account keys in Tax Procedure, so no acct. key is assigned to JTX1 in sales pricing procedure. In record of JTX1 we are maintaining same tax rate (with tax code assigned to it) for eg. 4 % (not 100%) as maintained in tax code.
Now, we are able to save billing document but while creating accounting document system is giving following error:
No account is spesified in item 0000001002
No acct. was specified for acct. type S in item 1002 of the FICO doc.
The financial acctg. pgm. cannot process the doc.
A sys. error has probably occured in ther sppln. you called up. Check the data transferred to item 1002 of the FICO doc.

Since you are using TAXINN procedure, you should not use JTX1(Tax Jurisdict.Code) condition at all. As you are aware after implementation of VAT, we should switch off Tax Jurisdiction at all lelvels.
SD Pricing Procedure:
1. Condition Type Settings
a. Excise conditions (if req'd)
b. LST / CST Conditions
c. Freight and Insurance Conditions
2. Access Sequence Settings
3. Maintain Pricing Procedure
4. Assign tax code to Company code
Therefore, check your IMG settings once again.

I am not sure if this is very helpful, but I believe the template in 2007 release is the SalesTaxAuthorities Template.
also, if you want a functional idea of the format for the template run the following select statement.
I think it will give you an Idea of the format, by exporting any information that is already in the system.
