File should be completely downloaded to Target sys

Hi All,
The scenario is File(NFS)--XI--->File(FTP)
I want to move a file(in folder1) which is sitting in the Source system to folder2 in the target system.
My question is no-one should read the file untill the file is completely downloaded in the target sys.
The reason is iu2019m sending a 40 mb file to target system. I donu2019t want the application which is running in my target system to pick the file from folder untill 40 MB file gets completely dowloaded.
How can i solve this issue
any suggestions on this....

Hi Sai,
In Communication Channel configuration
in tab 'Target' you give File Name Scheme: FILENAME (as to be used by your receiver application).
in tab 'Processing' you give write mode 'Use Temporary file' and then fill 'temporary file name scheme'
What will happen at runtime is that PI creates a file with the temporary name (so it cannot be seen by teh receiver) and only when PI is done with processing, it renames the file to the target name and then the receiver application can see the file and start processing it.

I have set up a progress bar file that in which i have imported my .swf file. Is there a way I can start playing the flash movie before it is fully downloaded.
Not sure if this is a buffering or streaming question. Lets say it starts playing when it's downloaded at least 50% of it.

by default, swfs will play frame 1, when enough has downloaded to display frame 1 (and the other assets designated to load in frame 1 have downloaded). frame 2 will display when enough has downloaded to display frame 2 etc.

File should not be processed until completely written

Hi Experts,
My scenario is proxy->file(xml). The file will be huge.
Once the file is kept on the target location, some crons will pick this file for processing.
How can I make sure that the file should not be picked by crons until the file is completely written on the target location by PI file receiver adapter?

When XI creates temporary file, where will this temporary file be created?
And please correct me if my understanding is correct on below.
If we select 'Use temporary file', then XI first creates this temporary file, writes all the data to it and then moves the whole file to the target location. And if we select 'directly' then XI first creates the file on target location and then it starts writing the content to the file. Is this understanding correct?

What did you download it on ? If you downloaded it on your Mac then it should be in the Movies part of your library. If you downloaded it on your iOS device then it should be in its Videos app. Is that where you've looked ?

DNG files do not contain some metadata supplied by the camera, which can be used by the manufacturer's software. Thus, if you don't keep the original Raw photo, you will lose this information.
If your 1000% sure you're never going to use the manufacturer's software, then this isn't a problem. But who can be sure what software you will be using 10 years from now?

Firefox aborts LARGE downloads on completion with an 'unknown error' and the whole file has to be downloaded again - surely there must be a workfile somewhere?

Because I only have satellite internet available to me, I have to download YouTube files in my download window. Several times now, one or two of maybe five or six files, all being downloaded simultaneously *to the same directory*, will abort with an error message "<filename> could not be saved because an unknown error occurred. Try saving to a different location". However, you don't get a chance to save it to a different location, the whole damned file has to be downloaded again from scratch. This is actually with IceWeasel 17.0.10, a thinly-disgusided version of Firefox 17 LTS, running on 64-bit Debian 7.1 multihome.
I realise this may be a plugin problem rather than a Firefox problem, I'm not sure of the exact relationship between the two, but I'm using TubeEnhancer 2.6 to do the downloads.
Whatever the 'unknown error' might be (and it's not a permissions problem, other videos being downloaded at the same time will save correctly to the same directory!) it seems beyond belief that it's not possible to give the user a chance to save the file somewhere else, as the error message suggests. It's so frustrsting to have to go through the whole download process again. Surely Firefox is storing a copy of the file on the hard drive as it downloads, is there really no way that this can at least be recovered when the error occurs, even if it's not possible for some reason to give the user a second chance to pick a directory and filename?

OK, so I tried disabling the other addons and (I'm sure this is coincidental!) the problem actually got WORSE, not better, i.e. more aborted downloads.
This is a long-standing problem with both Firefox and Thunderbird, both programs will happily tell you *during* the download process that they've downloaded X MB of Y MB, but if the download aborts, then there's no indication that it's done so on the dowload page. All that is needed is to retain that expected download size figure when the download has terminated, so that you can easily see whether unattended downloads completed or not.

I believe you need to have XP with Service Pak 3 as a minimum for most CS6 applications. You should check all of the system requirements because I think you also need to have a 64-bit machine as well. Here is a link...

Uploading Firmware Ops Sys Adm - Error encountered: The file could not be downloaded

Trying to upload the file using 8.6.2 of the CUCM Ops Sys Admin login. I am using a remote SFTP. I downloaded the firmware from the support section of the web. File: cmterm-7911_7906-sccp.8-5-2.cop.sgn
The Install/upgrade process finds the file then says.. Accessing the upgrade file, please wait
The Error Encounted: file could not be downloaded. a
There must be a log file somewhere. Any ideas?

Well - in that case I would take the easy option :-)
When you download the firmware, download the zip version. It may say 'for CUCM 4.x' or something similar.
Basically unzip it, then upload each of the files in the zip to the TFTP server manually through OS admin and then restart TFTP from serviceability.
Then you can apply it to a test phone and update the device defaults page when you are ready.
That way you can try different versions of firmware without adding lots of non-removable references to cop.sgn files to the system's installed options list.

Well this morning I woke up to see that my site hosted on Windows Azure was producing 50X errors and in general being incredibly slow (up to 60 seconds response time).
Now after looking through the DetailedErrors folder I see that the error received is:
HTTP Error 404.3 - Not Found The page you are requesting cannot be served because of the extension configuration. If the page is a script, add a handler. If the file should be downloaded, add a MIME map.
I tried creating a new test website and host it and guess what? I receive the exact same error here as well.
What could be causing this?

Canon .CTG files should not display in Photo Downloader

Please make an option in Photo Downloader to exclude certain file types such at
