Filtering a Report on the active record of another Report on the same page

Hello,
I have a Form and Report on the same page in an APEX app. The interactive report is used for sorting/filtering etc. and the Form is used to present the data for one record at a time, as well as allow updates in selected fields. This was done using the wizards, the little 'edit' button is clicked to change the form to the selected record.
I also have (or want to have) a second non-interactive report on the page, which displays some records based on the record of the main report that is currently selected and appearing in the form.
I tried doing a simple 'SELECT fields WHERE link field is equal to main report', but it always says no data found.
Basically, I need to be able to have a query for the second report that says 'SELECT these fields WHERE the site is equal to the site currently being displayed in the form'.
When the little pencil/paper 'edit' button is clicked on a report, does this set some ActiveRow or something like this that I can use to filter the second report?
As you can tell from this post, I am in my database skill infancy, and any literature/pointers on how to achieve this (outside of MS ACCESS...) would be appreciated.

Okay, I have somewhat got my head around Column Links, and have put the key link field into the URL:
The value is P4_MDF, and in this URL example it has taken the value of 'WLAH01'
f?p=880:4:3924084145794812::NO::P4_MDF,P4_ESA_CODE,P4_SITE_NAME:WLAH01%2CWLAH%2CWYRALLAH
Now I just need to work out how to use this value in the URL to filter the classic report.
I have used this query:
SELECT *
FROM
"MACHINE_INFO"
WHERE CCP = :P4_MDF
As CCP in the report im trying to filter is the same as MDF in the IR that I am clicking the Column Link
This is the Debug for the 2nd 'filtered' report (which filters everything)
0.09: show report

0.09: binding: ":P4_MDF"="P4_MDF" value="WLAH01"

I'm slowly getting the hang of this, any assistance would be great!

first run "ipconfig /flushdns" and then "ipconfig /registerdns" finally restart dns service and check the situation,also you can check dns logs computer management ->Event viewer->Custom Views->Server roles->DNS.

There is no serial number require for Creative Cloud products, you may activate the products using your email address and password which is associated with Adobe. If your Dreamweaver asking for serial number, then make sure you are signing in with correct email address.

Thank you for the note - I have seen similar replies on other posting errors and I see how that could make sense. The thing is, my iPhone is not jailbroken - it is from an authorized distributor. However, when I told them about the "no service" problem on the sim, they were unable to assist. Then my phone messaged that an itunes restore was required - so I did that, several times, to the error message now noted on my post. I wonder if there is some other way to over-write this message? Thanks very much.

That's almost always because the phone was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it.

My Macbook 4,1 came with 1 GB of memory. Only 512MB shows up in the activity monitor. I just upgraded the memory to 4 GB. Although 2GB shows up in DIMM0 and DIMM1 it still only says I have 512MB of memory. Can someone help?

So when you go to  > About This Mac - How it should say how much ram there. Click on More Info - And click on Memory - What is in those fields?

let me explain it by details;
the last night as soon as I saw the IOS 8 notification on my 5s phone, I started downloading and as soon as download finished I clicked on install. Then I saw a sign of cable and iTunes on the phone display.
I started downoalding the ios8 this tme on iTunes by my laptop and then tried to install it on the phone again. it installed and asked location and language which is set by me, then asked the apple id and password but it didn't accept the apple id and password until I thought I have forgotten the apple id. now I don remember the details of the apple id except the password and nothing more!
can u guide me or instruct wot should I do plz?

No such message occurs.
Are you trying to state that it says "Unable to activate"?
If so, this typically indicates the device has been hacked or jailbroken. If that is the case, no support can be provided via these forums.

Pass a parameter from a report to a customization form of another report

I want to pass a parameter value from a report to the customization form of another report and display it in the text field in the customization form as a default value. I have 2 variables in the customization form and in one of them, I would like to display the default value from a previous report.

1. go to the manage component screen of the report
2. open the package body (pl/sql source)
3. search for 'procedure show_parms'
4. scroll down till you find
-- call to parameter form rendering engine
5. copy the procedure call below it
a) you will have to pass <PORTAL_SCHEMA>.wwv_utlglobl.RUN_AS_NORMAL to p_mode
b) remove the parameters p_reference_path, p_redirect_url, p_exec_mode, p_page_url ( or you can pass null to them)
c) 'p_parm_names' will contain your 2 parameters
d) you can pass values to 'p_parm_values' which you want to be displayed in the parameter forms.
6. you can call this procedure from a dynamic page and link the dynamic page to your first report

Hold down the option key while starting iTunes and make an new library. Will it open then? If so, you have a bad library. With the new library import the library.xml version of the file in your iTunes folder. This will make it 90% like before (some metadata are not identical, but I don't know which ones).

Need to select the max record in a report

Dear All,
I have a certain report which displays the employee records along with their 'empids' and their 'beginning date'. For each 'empid', there are more than one records and hence more than one 'beginning date'. I need to select that record which contains the maximum 'beginning date'. How can this be possible in the reporting level without doing any coding in update rules or writing any exit ?

I think it is not possible because i am having doubt how the for each employ id how it will be different joining dates,i think for each employ having differeent joining dates ,if u want to see maximum number of employs in which in company then we can go for the only option non cumulative kf with maximum value with ur joining date as the reference.but it report level if it is keyfigure we can have options of maximum and minimum and like that we can do but in case of characterstic like employnumber and joiningdate both are characterstics.

The rendered records are not consistent with the range

After changing the range with record navigator to render the records,
if navigate to other page and go back,the rendered records will not be
consistent with the record range.
The issue can be reproduced as follows.
1.when select 1-10 range,the first 10 records are rendered.
2.select [Next 10 records] to render the 11-13 records.
3.change to other page and return to the original page.
It is found that the 11-13 records are rendered but the range is 1-10.
You can verify the issue by executing SampleMainPG.xml of the Tutorial.jpr for 11.5.10.2
from Jdeveloper after changing the SampleMainCO.java as below.

But it is not clear whether there is any other impact from these functions.

FYI. I was able to do what I wanted by first going to page properties and removing unwanted fonts from appearance. Then edit the page, select all, change style to normal, then select the text where you want to use a different style and change style there. This gives consistent appearance with both browsers.
