Filtering IPv6 extension headers on FWSM
Hello,
We want to filter IPv6 extension headers on FWSM (4.1.x) and we discovered that filtering does not works at all. For example to filter destination options we used the following IPv6 ACE:
ipv6 access-list OUTSIDE6_IN deny 60 any any
Then packets are sent using extended IPv6 ping from IOS router and FWSM ignores above ACE and forwards the packet to the destination. The same thing happens when using Scapy as packet generator.
The packet is good because it matches IOS IPv6 ACL Destination options ACE.
I didn't checked but my colleague reported me the same issue with filtering Hop-by-hop option on FWSM.
So, is something wrong with the procedure or this is about new bug?
Regards,
Igor
Jenifer,
ACL is assigned to the interface... Other ACEs are being matched so ACL works but it does not match extension headers correctly:
ipv6 access-list OUTSIDE6_IN line 1 deny 60 any any log debugging interval 300 (hitcnt=0) 0xbb24b0a2
ipv6 access-list OUTSIDE6_IN line 2 permit tcp any any eq www log debugging interval 300 (hitcnt=2) 0xbde27d7c

PS CC 2014 problem: How to migrate filters and extensions? (win7 x64)
Hi Gang!
Just installed 2014 (win 7 x64).
But none of my filter (Nik, etc) are showing up? How can I point PS 2014 to my old filter plug-in golder? I looked in prefs? Also I need to point 2014 to my extensions primarily my Paper textures extension.
I would think the 2014 would use the regular CCs filters ???
Thanks
MaxUpdate: I used a symbolic link to connect my PS CC old version plugin folder to the 2014 plugin folder. That worked, but I'm not showing my Paper Texture extension. I did the same symbolic link but EXTENSIONS are blank.
Any ideas? -
IPv6 Extension to the ifconfig utility
I would like to know how that Multiple IPv6 Address setting on Solaris 8. I could create virtual IP address to NIC by ifconfig command one by one. ex) >ifconfig hme0 inet6 addif 3ffe:0:0:1::2/64 up In this method, the number of virtual IP address is maximum 255 only. I need to create over 255 addresses. Therefor, I would like to create virtual IP address by specify prefix address of IPv6. However, I can not set specify prefix of IPv6 address. Please tell me know how that ifconfig command.
p.s. I tried that input ">ifconfig hme0 inet6 addif 3ffe:0:0:1::/64 up", then ifconfig command is normally end, but this virtual IP address (3ffe:0:0:1:0:0:0:1-3ffe:0:0:1:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff) is no response for ping of other IPv6 server .However, I can not set specify prefix of IPv6 address. Please tell me know how that ifconfig command. If u need fresh samples of ifconfig better use google search with "ifconfig" +Solaris and so on...
U can find correct solution.

Windows Extensions grayed out Photoshop CC 64 (NOT 2014)
I am trying to install On One Perfect Suite 9 panels. The extension is showing in the Extension Manager as installed, but Windows > Extensions is still grayed ...
I have tried the following to no avail:
Ensured sync is on in the CC App Manager and I have synced Photoshop CC 64.
All filters and extensions boxes are checked in Preferences > Plugins.
Photoshop has been closed and reopened multiple times.
I have tried advice from this forum specifically, the workspace change trick, and the GPU Advanced/Normal trick, and the Open CL trick - nothing
There is no OnOne folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\Extensions\onOne (which is correct per onOne tech support)
Using the Extension Manager I clicked ... File > Install Extension and browsed to C:\Program Files\onOne Software\Perfect Suite 9\Plug-in Files\Panels\onOne.zxp, highlighted onOne.zxp and clicked Open.
Yes, the graphics driver is current (well this is NVidia so current means I checked this morning - who knows about this exact moment)
I have not uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop because it is a royal pain to do so, and it should not be necessary.

A couple of reasons for not installing CC2014 yet, First my colleague was an early adopter and had a great deal of trouble with the installation, so I decided to be a bit of a laggard.
Mostly I am lazy. I am way behind on several photo projects, then my system was infected with this Powelik Trojan (how I don't know). On top of that I need to free up some disk space so I have room for both CC and CC2014. None of these are good excuses but I have been spending my time cleaning up the virus, releasing the occasional photo to my customers, and clearing up the disk space. Soon perhaps.
As far as onOne support is concerned I should have made that more clear and I will send an update. They responded within a day which I classify as pretty good support.
By the way, the old 8.5.1 (flash) panel worked well until the CC update that happened at the same time as the first CC2014 release. Was flash discontinued in the CC version as well as the CC2014 version? That was another reason to delay CC2014 - until onOne released version 9. I am still of the assumption that CC supports flash plug-ins but CC2014 supports only HTM5. Is this a correct assumption? -

Problem is that i can't see any IPv6 multicast traffic (like ICMPv6 RA or such) on Gi3/0/2 which is absolutely sure there, because if i remove monitoring session on core switch and put Gi3/0/2 into trunk mode, i can see packets i need in vlan 1001:

There is no such problem with usual unicast and broadcast traffic.
Any suggestions?Interestingly, i've found bug CSCsr64007 which i stubmbled upon on one of my switches during troubleshooting. The effect of this bug was that RSPAN took IPv6 multicast packets from unrelated VLANs and forwarded them into monitor port.
Looks like they have "fixed" it filtering IPv6 multicast completely. -
Opening a binary file with the right extension
Hi everyone,
I developed a real simple VI that enables me to read the first five bytes of a binary file to get its signature (ASCII) and verify if its signature matches with the expected extensions. If yes, another VI is called, and if not a 2 button message error is displayed : if the User chooses OK, then a new dialog box opens up to pick another file ; and if the user chooses Cancel, the same dialog box opens up rather than escaping the VI.
It is due to the while loop (VI below) but i don't see how I can handle this without it. Till the user hasn't chosen the right extension, it can't escape which is a problem! The true case consists in calling another VI, and the first step of the stacked sequence consists in displaying a two button error message.
If you have any ideas, I'm a bit new! Thanks !!
Solved!
Go to Solution. Thanks for your replies!
I have tried your solution CoqRouge, filtering the extensions. But it seems that you can choose between different filters when the dialog box opens up, and then choose any kind of extensions.
@RavensFan : I cannot load the VIs attached in this thread because I am using an older version of Labview
@MikeS81 : Which negative ouput?

Bogus packets in OffloadLso test
All,
I am running OffloadLso test with following features enabled
1. LSOV1
2. LSOv2 including IPV4 option, IPV6 ext header support
3. NVGRE LSO support for all headers
While testing GRE LSO, I see some bogus packet coming for LSO offload. I am making this statement based on the packets I captured in wireshark and LSO errors I get from device.
Bogus packets are of types like zero tcp header length or All tcp header flags set (fin, ack, psh and even reserved).
In whole run, I get these kinds of packets for 3 to 10 tests (for test GRE with Outer IPV4 and Inner IPV6 with ext hdrs)and because of which test fails.
Has anyone seen this kind of issue? or is it known one? When running the OffloadLSO test, some NVGRE packets have an inner IPv6 header with a bad next header field; its value is 6 (which stands for TCP) which implies that there are no extension headers sandwiched between the inner IPv6 header and the TCP header.
But actually (by visual inspection) there is at least one extension header there.
NDIS sends a packet with this bad inner IPv6 next header field to the miniport driver, who then sends it to the NIC, but the NIC cannot perform LSO on it because the NIC thinks the TCP header is bad. What the NIC perceives as the TCP header is actually
an IPv6 extension header.
What's causing NDIS to send these troublesome NVGRE packets when running the OffloadLSO test? -
Dear all
We hava an 10.2.0.4 RAC running on AIX 6.1, we found a lot “gc cr block lost” in awr report.

hello,
I've developed a program which is prefectly working on java 1.5.0 version.
but when run on java1.4.0. it gives run time error in this code.
first i'm getting error in second hashtable. put function where i'm using key as an integer.this is running on 1.5 version but have to change key as string on 1.4. but after that it is still not working properly.
I want that when i clicked on open then it must show both file
1. that have hdr extension
2. that have same name as the corrseponding .hdr file but without extension.
this program show desired result on 1.5 but on 1.4 it display only .hdr file.
pls. help me regarding this .

Delete unused vi (files) in the project
Hi there,
I know that may be an old topic, but I still have no better solution.
In my project are not only the vis but other kinds of data, for instance png, mp4...
I didn't use the Auto-populating folders (instead the virtual folders) in the project structure. It' s quite sure that in the folder on the hard drive there should be many vis and files, that are no longer used in the project.
Also some VIs are called dynamically in the main vi, which can not be saved as using the save hierarchy function.
I'm not expecting to delete all the VIs, which is not used. But at least to tell which VI is still in use.
Any suggestions and ideas?
WilburI made a basic tool vi that compares the 'AllVIsInMemory' output with a recursive directory listing. Everything that wasn't in the AllVIsInMemory was written to a listbox. The delete was performed manually. I also did output the number of 'suspected' files, so I had an isea how clean my project folder was. What I didn't implement but what would be an easy improvement is filtering by extension (so limit to vi, vit, ...).
I don't have this vi with me right now, but it's easy to do your own.

Hi,
I have an SCVMM 2012 R2 instance (with CU1), and when I perform a VM migration I get a status of Completed w/ Info
In the details pane of the Jobs window I have 9 errors and a warning every time
Error 23801 - No available connection to selected VM Network can be found
Error 23810 - There is no host NIC with required classification
Error 23806 - All available ports on switch extenstion has been used
Error 23808 - All available ports on port profile has been used
Error 23807 - The switch extension has reached maximum supoprted ports on this host
Error 23809 - The port profile has reached maximum support ports on this host
Error 23811 - Ports are not available for VM Subnet
Error 23825 - The virtual machine requires a logical switch connection and the host network adapter is not attached to a logical switch or operating sytem doesn't support logical switch
Error 23753 - The virtual machine or tier load balancer configuration requires an IP pool and there are no appropraite IP pools accessible from the host
Warning 23830 - Unable to find compliant logical switch
Even with all of these warnings the migrated VM works just fine.
In our environment we are using a layer 3 switch with VLANs, so I have a logical network using the 'VLAN-based independent networks' option, with two sites
Each site has an assoicated VLAN ID, and IP subnet
I've created a logical switch (without SR-IOV), using only the Microsoft Windows Filtering platform extension
The uplink on the logical switch is not a team, and has a port profile associated with the host group including all my Hyper-V hosts, and including all sites from the logical network
The virtual port on the logical switch has High bandwidth and medium bandwidth port classifications associated
I have VM Networks created for each of the sites on my logical network
The network configuration on my VM is as follows:
Connected to a VM network, enable VLAN
IP address is greyed out as Static IP (from a static IP pool) - This was configured as Dynamic at creation time as I do not use IP pools
MAC address is dynamic
Virtual switch - using the logical switch mentioned above and High Bandwidth classification
The hosts have a dedicated interface on a trunked network port for VM data. Available for placement is checked, used by management is not (as i have a dedicated interface for that)
It has the logical network mentioned above assigned, and all IP sites are shown with their VLAN IDs
I believe I have everything configured correctly (after all the VM works correctly regardless of which host is running it), but i still see these errors during a VM migration
Has anybody seen this before, or have any pointers to resolving them?
The hosts are Server 2012 R2 Datacenter and the VM is Server 2012 R2 Standard
Thanks,
PhilI am also getting these errors when manually migrating machines between hosts. And indeed, the VM is moved and keeps working.
But when I try to put an host in maintenance, it instantly fails with:
Error (10434)
No suitable host is available for migrating the existing highly available virtual machines.
Not quite the same network setup, but running all Server 2012R2 and VMM2012R2.
In my production environment I do not have these issues, which is running Server 2012 and VMM2012SP1.

PS Extended CS5 to PS Extended CS6 Cloud Install - How to migrate plugins?
Currently I am running PhotoShop extended CS5, 64bit. in which i have my fovorite plugins (Topaz, Nik and OneOne) running perfectly.
I have upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud and installed PhotoShop extended CS6 using Adobe Application Manager as recommended.
It didn't ask me if I wanted to upgrade or do a new install for PhotoShop. So now I CS6 running with no Plug-ins. I need my plugins! LOL.
I tried pointing to additional plugins in the CS6 preference to the CS5 plugin folder.
Upon Launch it gave me a whole slew of error messages saying something cant load or launch C+ runtime error or what not.
It does open up, but it only gives access to Nik and Topaz. OnOne doesn't show up under filters or extensions.
So, what are my options?
Just copy the plugins from CS5 to CS6?
I dont't want to reinstall all the plugins to CS6 if I don't have to as I've auto updated them over time to current versions online, so only have installation files for my original purchases.Hi,
Here's Adobe's guidance: (http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshooting-plug-ins-photoshop-cs6.html)
General Plug-in installation guidance
Do:
Check the plug-in manufacturer's website for the latest version of your plug-in
Use the manufacturer's plug-in installer to install their plug-ins
Don't:
Do not point Photoshop CS6's "Additional Plug-ins" preference (Preferences>Plug-Ins...) at a previous version of Photoshop's 'Plug-Ins' folder.
Do not manually drag plug-ins from a previous version of Photoshop's plug-ins folder to Photoshop CS6's 'Plug-Ins' folder

Purchase order text in material is replicated from ECC to SRM?
Hello experts,
In the standard process of replicating materials from an SAP ECC system to SRM, is the purchase order text tab in MM03 replicated to SRM?
I've tried searcing for this text in SRM but I guess it is not replicated.
Is there a way to do this?
Regards,hi,
Generally speaking, product longtexts are not automatically replicated to SRM via MW.
The filters of text headers and text lines are not taken into consideration.
-- In case in transaction R3AC1 object MATERIAL has inactive filters for tables STXH and STXL, please remove flags and synchronize the filters.
-- In the backend table CRMOBJTAB still shows inactive entries for both tables.
-- Check the notes no. 555520 and 839995. Please apply and follow the instructions given in the longtext.
Now the filters should work and the basic longtext should get replicated.

Broadband suddenly very very slow
Hello all,
Yesterday my connection speed dropped drastically (from the usual 4/5 Mbps down/ 400 Kbps up) to the horribly slow 0.08 down 0.24 up. It was like this for about 6 hours between 5pm-11pm. It all seemed back to normal this morning but then dropped back to the slow speeds at about 12pm today. I have HomeHub 3 with wired connections to 2 PCs and a NAS box, and various things that connect wirelessly.
I've checked everything I possibly can - new filters, new cables from HomeHub to socket, direct connection to test socket - no change. I plugged in my old HomeHub 2 but the speeds were not any different. I tested all this with just my laptop connected via cable and nothing else connected to the HomeHub(s). Silent line test is fine but the phone line is still quite crackly with nothing else plugged in (filters/router/extension). Remote line test says there are no problems with the line and there are no faults in my area.
For the past week or so we've noticed that noise on the phone line has got considerably worse but there was no reduction in connection speed until yesterday, when the connection kept dropping and eventually returned at the slow speeds. I run my business from home so it's driving me mental - daily bandwidth is about 20GB so it's taking forever.
My local exchange is Pipers Pool (http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange/WWPIPE), which is about 2.8km away. Speedtest/ADSL status is below.
Any ideas? My brain says I should leave the router to stabilise but the noisy line is putting me off

Solved!
Go to Solution.if line noisy then you need to report a phone fault to 151 and get this fixed and broadband will improve. all you chnages trying to improve your connection - new router, change filter, replace cable etc are actually making your connection worse so much so your profile is now down to 0.25mb. this will recover in 3/5 days stbale connection but need to fix line noise first.
if you run your business from home is this a business line?
