FIM job transport without mapping data

Deal all,
We are using FIM 10.0 SP 8
Looking for a solution which helps to transport the FIM jobs from the DEV system to QA system without the mapping table information.
As per my understanding the XML file gets generated while exporting a FIM job contains all the mapping information. Is there a way to avoid this?

When exporting a FIM job to an .xml file , the following parameters are exported:
Job properties
Source properties
Target properties
Mapping table definition
Mapping table content
Source connection (if any)
Target connection
Whereas these parameters are not exported:
Mapping table history
Job run history
Source file (if any)
Last run parameters (filters and target application properties
Underlying data services job

BWA1 is getting transported without mapping in CRM 5.0 version

Hi,
We transported all the datasources from CRM dev system to CRM QA system, but when we checked BWA1 in QA CRM 5.0 version, we were surprised to check that the selection tab and the mapping tab were not having any entries, though the DEV system was populated with entries.
What could be the reason and how can we get those entries in QA CRM BWA1 transaction for the datasources 0CRM_OPPT_H, 0CRM_OPPT_I, 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 and 0CRM_SALES_ACT_I.
Any help in this regard will be very helpful.

Hi Kishore,
We had similar issue before. Do not use the replication scenarios X,Y or Z. You have use the scenario A which will solve your problem for sales order replication issues. Please refer to the note 705200. For rest of issues make sure in both the systems the queue scheduler is running. If not running actively then register the each queue in both the systems using SMQS and SMQR. If still the issue is not solved then let me know.

Modify Cube without clear data

Hi all,
By request I changed a cube i.e. add several key figures into this cube. Following this change the related update rule and DTP also changed. Now I want to transport this changed cube into Productive system but don't want to delete all data in the cube before this transport, is this possible and what are the precautions ?

We can transport the INfo cube without data deletion into production system with out any issues.But only thing is it will take more time (time depends on the data volume i.e. if there is huse data it will take more time).
With my previous observation ,i found for 25 million records it took 1hour15 mins of time to overwrite the exesting info cube in production.
Here is the logic behind the object transport which is already exist in production:
When ever we are transporting obects from one system(dev sys) to another system (prod sys) ,at the time of transport all the data will be transferd in to buffer and revert back to original object (by system it self) after the objects got sucess fully imported.
Below are the Precaution we have to take while transporting the info cube are:
1) Make sure that is no local request created for the transport objects( in your scenario info cube,DTP,Transformation..etc).
2) Data loads should not happen while transportion.
3) Make sure that transport path from dev to prod is perfect(we can check in se09 transaction).
4) Better to Transport object in from top to bottom i.e. 1st info cube and then depending transformation,dtp's etc..
5) Monitor the transport job wile transoporting.we can find job with RDD* IN Sm37 transaction.
Hope this may give you some input for transporting objects...

Nokia Maps not loading any new maps data on the fl...

Just posted a thread on City lens not working properly with Maps, but now I notice that Maps seems to have problems of its own: without Wifi, I can't use satellite maps or indoors maps. As a matter of fact, even the plain vanilla street maps mode seems to work only because I've downloaded offline maps for my country. If try to zoom in on a neighbouring country without wifi, no detailed maps load.
Nokia Drive doesn't seem to have this limitation, it will happily load detailed maps data over the air too. Using Lumia 920, original firmware, and Maps version 3.1.177.8.
This can't be by design, or can it?

Some more interesting symptoms from this issue:
After restarting the phone, if I immediately launch Maps or City Lens, I can enjoy a short moment (maybe a minute or two) of having the features work over cellular data connection.
The non-functionality of these features seems to correlate with how the Dialer tile on the start screen identifies my network (only medium-size or large tile will show the name). If the tile reads "Saunalahti" (the name of my operator), everything will work as it should. Some minutes after booting the id changes to "Oma verkko" (="Own network"), at which point cellular connection seems to stop working, but only for these very specific use cases. I can happily use IE10 or other apps which require data connection even with WiFi off.
If I go to Settings / Network and choose my network manually from the list (i.e. I choose "Saunalahti"), the Dialer tile will for a short while again revert to showing "Saunalahti", and I get another 2 minutes of functionality.
So yes, I guess it does look like a network issue, or perhaps an issue with how the device deals with roaming networks. My network provider told me it's probably something with the phone or its settings and suggested I contact Nokia. Nokia will probably tell me it's obviously something with the operator and direct me to them .

Anil, please check what do you have in metaverse. It seems that you have attribute flow precedence configured in a way that doesn't export to FIM Portal.
Let's say you have flows like:
(AD MA)
Import flow: (AD) description -> (metaverse) description
(FIM MA)
Import flow (FIM) description -> (metaverse) description
Export flow (FIM) description <- (metaverse) description
And you have higher precedence from FIM. Then, you would never have FIM value updated - even if value in AD changes. It would be exported to FIM only when you don't have this attribute filled in FIM.

User Mapping Data through IUser.getTransientAttribute()

Hi All,
Was wondering if there is a way I can get all the IUserMappingData for an IUser without having to specify the system name.
i.e. Like I can call IUser.getRoles() can I do a similiar thing for User Mapping Data?
I thought maybe -
IUserMappingData nameSpaceMappingData = (IUserMappingData)iUser.getTransientAttribute(IUserMappingData.USER_MAPPING_NAMESPACE, ?name?);
But not sure what to put in as the attribute name, whether I put user, mappedpassword, systemalias, etc.
Any suggestions?

1. Need to read the data from FILE .
2. pass the values to a BAPI structure in ECC Without any mapping
QUESTIONS:
1. Is it possible to complete the scenario without mapping in XI.
2. If possible how.

My source data structure is same as BAPI.
We have created data types ,message types and Service interfaces for SENDER in ESR.
But our Issues.
1. Do we need to create Receiver Interface Objects.
If yes How (In our scenario receiver is BAPI)
import RFC under imported objects in esr
2. What are the configurations we need to do in ID for SENDER and RECEIVER.
coming to id:
create everything like
communication channels for sender as file and receiver as RFC.
create Agrrements for sender and receiver.
create Receiver determination and interface determination.

N82 wont show map data

Hello there,
I installed Maps 3 on my N82 and i am using ovi suite.
I still have some map content from germany map on the phone but i moved to the philippines and now tried to download the philippine map onto my N82.
It downloaded the map but i cant see the downloaded content in the browser nor in the phone icon in ovi suite. I want to make sure that I have the downloaded map on my phones memory, wehter the memory card or internal (Philippines is just about 10mb). That will be the only way for me to use the GPS in offlinemode right? Pleased anyone can help? tnx in advance

Just to elaborate on post by cjlim, even if your N82 has last firmware version it will have Nokia Maps 2.0 installed by default where map data was stored in E:\private\20001f63\diskcache.You would however have been prompted to install OVI Maps v3.01 unfortunately without voice navigation by OVI Suite, which is also available directly from here:

This later OVI Maps v3 stores map data in \CITIES\diskcache which may either be in phone memory or on memory card, although as you say you would only get away with using phone memory for map as small as the Philippines.
Did you try delete existing maps feature in OVI Suite > Maps and re-download the Philippines?

You can't.
Use an alternative navigation app from the AppStore that works without a data connection and downloads map data in advance.

Use the Nokia Map Loader on a PC to preinstall maps on the phone.
Map Loader comes with Nokia Suite:

In the settings you can turn off A-GPS and network based positioning, leaving only GPS, and also disable internet access for the Nokia Maps application. You don't "choose" to use th 3g network.
If you have paid for it in your plan and 3g coverage is available, your phone will automatically use it when necessary.
3g provides faster internet speeds than 2g, so you can watch video or download stuff faster. Wifi is normally faster than 3g.
Your iphone gps is "assisted", meaning it uses network data to calculate your position.
Also, you would still need the network to download maps, directions etc as they are not on your device.

Most recent Maps data update wastes disk space

I noticed that used disk space on my N9 increased by 2GB and found that I now had these folders under cities: diskcache, diskcache_, MapLoader, and MapLoader_. I recently updated my maps and evidently the old diskcache and MapLoader folders were renamed with underscores and new ones were created, so I now have 2GB worth of the old Maps data and 2GB worth of the newest Maps data. This didn't happen after previous updates. I assume it should be safe to delete the diskcache_ and MapLoader_ folders. Has anyone else noticed this?

There's not much effort needed to find tones of threads for WP and almost none for Symbian.
There are even official video stickers of HERE Maps working on Lumia phones.
So I presume that yes, everybody is discussing HERE services round here. Why not do that for Symbian?
Besides, Nokia has made a commitment to provide lifetime voice-guided nav for Symbian devices. Without updates, the navigation is useless. If Lumia based phones are getting updates, I see no reason for us not getting them. I don't care who owns HERE (which is still Nokia, BTW). I purchased a Nokia phone.
I should definitely claim for it HERE.

Map data doesn't appear in maps

When I open the maps app, all I get is a blank yellow background..
Everything else seems to be working (ie. Traffic data, directions). All of which aren't very useful without the actual roads!
If I zoom out far enough, I see faint outlines of countries...
This problem extends to other apps that use map data too. In this example, Nike+ running
I've tried killing and restarting the app, rebooting my phone and resetting all my settings but nothing has helped.
Anyone had a similar problem or got any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

No issues with the current location (blue dot) and pins. No roads, no maps.
I had the problem as described by iammrwong. Unfortunately, my problem persist even after I restore from backup.

Hi Assuming you are using the essbase report writer the following script will work: { SUPPAGEHEADING } { SUPCOLHEADING } { SUPFORMATS } { SUPFEED } { NOINDENTGEN } { FIXCOLUMNS 1 } <ROW("Dimension") <UDA(Dimension,MyUDA) ! the fixcolumns 1 will ensure that you only get the UDA without it you will get the variable followed by the corrosponding value.
