Find by instance name

Question

Movie Explorer was great to find symbols in complicated Flash documents. That feature has been removed in Flash Pro CC. To get around that you can drop this small jsfl script in your ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/Flash\ CC/en_US/Configuration/Commands/ directory (Mac):
// by JST 2013-11-25
var doc = fl.getDocumentDOM();
var nm = prompt("Instance name:");
if ( nm  ) {
          var result = fl.findObjectInDocByName( nm, doc);
          if ( result.length == 0 ) {
                    alert(nm + " not found");
          } else {
                    doc.selection = result.map( function(x) {return x.obj});
It will show up in your commands menu. When run, it prompts you for an instance name and will select it if found.
If anyone has a better (e.g. built-in) way of finding instances by name, please let me know.
