Finding attachments within the CRM system

We're trying to find out where the attachments are stored that are attached to our service tickets.
We've found the following tables which give details of the attachments but can't find where they are physically located.
CRMCASEPHIO
CRMCASECONT
CRMCASELOIO
SKWG_BREL
Are the attachments encrypted like the Notes field?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Devlin,
When you can consume the services with CAF core or deployable proxies within Netweaver04s, you are able to see the web.xml and the ejb-jar.xml deployment descriptors.
For Comsuming services within ABAP,this doc shoukd serve the purpose,
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/6066fbe8-edc4-2910-9584-a9601649747d
This doc shows how to provide and conmsume services in ABAP,

Also I found an old doc which talks about consuming in Netwaever,probably throws somelight on deployable proxies.

  • CRM Survey Responses not coming back into the CRM system - WHY????

    Hey guys,
    I am trying to implement the campaign automation. My problem now is, that I am not getting the survey responses back into the CRM System so the next campaign element cannot start.
    We do not use a BW; and in terms of the .xml for the URL generation I used bsp and not for example mailto. When I tested the URL it worked fine. I as well checked the workflows, they also seem fine. When I created the mailform and inserted the hyperlink I choosed the option no tracking as I said before, we do not use a BW.
    Can you tell me if I missed any configuration steps? I also started the internal CatServer, as mentionend in many notes.
    I highly appreciate your help.
    Best regards,
    Janine

    Hi,
    we are using campaign automation with Surveys and we are able to see responses. Maybe try these steps:
    - generate a survey like in Create, run and analyze an E-Mail Campaign with a Survey (Part 1)
    - generate the url for your survey and insert it inside a mail form,activating the option "tracking via target site" (since you need to track responses and your survey is on the CRM domain)
    -create a simple campaign that sends a mail using your mail form and pass some BP in the target group, then make them answer the survey: under "contact statistics" you should see the number of outbound mails and the number of inbound contacts with the number of BPs that answered to your survey
    Once you are sure that this scenario is working, you can set conditions in campaign automation on the type of response received in the survey, etc... (like in http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/20283126-36ca-2d10-6983-92ed18d36644?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true )
    Hope this helps,

  • SAP GRC 10 : Can we connect GRC to multiple clients within the same system

    We are having this requirement to connect SAP GRC to two different clients within the QA System.
    Just wondering whether this is possible to connect at the same time. We have created connectors in both the clients in ECC  and in GRC we have connectors for both ECC Cllients. When I try to add the connector for second client in SPRO , it is not even showing up entry for that
    Please confirm whether we can do this

    Hi Anil
    If you have two ECC clients you would create two connectors to GRC. You would need two SM59 RFC connections (one for each client) to map them through.You can map them to the same logical group though.
    What is not working for you? Did you define both clients as their own connectors?

  • Questions on web services in the CRM system from abap

    Hi, we are new to consuming web services within the abap engine and have a couple of questions
    When we consume the webservice do we have access to the web.xml and ejb-jar.xml deployment descriptors is there a standard servicref element
    Are these descriptors editable so we can add JAX/RPC client side messages to the service ref element
    What are all the versions also as I can't seem to find any info also any documentation on the above if it exists would be greatly appreciated
    Cheers,

  • Is it possible to annotate pdf documents that are received as attachments within the main document?

    Hi There
    I am using the latest adobe reader app for iPad v11.6.4 and  I have recently received a meeting agenda by email which contained attachments within it.
    The agenda was prepared by a friend using the 'attach a file' function in acrobat.
    I can annotate the main agenda document, but when I click the paperclip icon at the bottom right hand side of my iPad, this opens the attached documents, but each time with the message "modifying this document is not allowed because it is an attachment".
    Is there anyway to enable annotation on attached documents within the version I am using, or is there a different version available which has this functionality?
    Thanks
    Paul

    Hi,
    Currently, the Adobe Reader mobile products (for iOS, Android, Windows Phone) do not support any changes (e.g. adding annotations) to attached documents, as the message indicates.  Sorry for the inconvenience.
    As a workaround, you could save attached PDF documents as individual PDFs in Adobe Reader on a Windows or Mac desktop computer and transfer them to your iPad.

  • What are the hours of operation for phone support? I cannot find them and the phone system just says between regular hours?

    My patience has been pushed to its  limit with this iPod and I cannot find hours of operation for customer service and tech support and the phone system just tells you no one is available and call back during regular hours, but nothing saying what those hours are. Does anyone know?

    Looking at the Apple's website and previous posts, Apple does not publish the hours.  Did you can in the USA during the times that corresponsd to about 9AM to 4PM Pacific time?

  • Transferring data from one planning area to other within the same system

    Hi,
          We have two planning areas setup and the corresponding planning books in the same system. Now I have to save the results of first book and transfer the results in the other. They have common key figures. Is the data saved to the key figure after saving show up immediately in the second one or do I need to load?
    Thanks.

    Visu,
    If I understand your requirement correctly, you should be able to use transaction /SAPAPO/TSCOPY (Copy/Version Mgmt) to send the data from the one planning area to the other.  Please let me know if I misunderstood the requirement.

  • The user name or password is incorrect in the CRM system checks during installation

    Hi everyone
    I'm installing CRM 2013 on 2 servers (server 2012) - CRM Full server + SQL Server 2012.
    I created 2 service accounts for this - CRMSVC + CRMSANDBOX (one for sandbox and another one for all the rest).
    I'm getting the following error in the system checks during setup:
    I've verified a billion times that the service accounts and passwords are valid - I even tried using different service accounts - same problem. As for now I also added the service accounts to the local admins groups just to be sure that it's not some permissions
    issue (I also added them to the 'log on as service' & performance logs groups).
    If i try to use NETWORK SERVICES instead of a service account - the installation goes through flawlessly - no issues at all.
    I'm also gonna say that i tried another installation on a fresh server - SAME ISSUE.
    So for now my ideas are either it's a GPO somehow blocking the service accounts - or some kind of other security issue.
    I also found out that the security event log shows these two errors when these show up in the system checks:
    Inside i found 'NULL SID' entry - it does not recognize the service accounts account and 0xC0000064 in the Sub
    Status Codes
    It's not a typo issue so don't bother - if i write a wrong password in purpose - it actually says that the password i typed for domain\service account is incorrect - here it seems that the service account is not being recognized.
    Any ideas anyone?
    Thanks

    Not sure you understood my point.
    The installation process necessarily runs under the account of the installing user. The installation will query AD to identify information about the service accounts, and will add them to the relevant CRM AD groups. It is possible that the installing user
    account does not have sufficient privileges on the AD objects for the service accounts to be able to identify them, and to add them to groups. This scenario is consistent with the errors that you get, and also with being able to install CRM to run under NetworkServices
    (which doesn't have its own AD object)
    Microsoft CRM MVP - http://mscrmuk.blogspot.com/ http://www.excitation.co.uk
    Hi David
    I understand this, but as far as i know running it under NETWORK SERVICES will add the machine names to the OU security groups - hence the user installing still needs to have delegated permissions on that OU. Anyway as mentioned above - ignoring the checks
    and running the installation solved this and also added the accounts to the security groups - so this whole mess looks like some bug to me - not sure i will ever find out what it was :)

  • HT204150 Mail and contacts keep hanging.  As I check the iCloud settings there are multiple iCloud accounts listed in the contacts but I did not place them there.  Does anyone else have this problem... I've tried to find information within the support art

    I'm having a tough time working within mail... it slows as I type in contacts...The letters appear as if I am typing really slowly!  When I look at the accounts listed in iCloud it appears the accounts are perserverating (listing additional accounts without my involvement!!) The iMac I am using has Mountain Lion with the most recent updates.  I welcome any suggestions!  Thanks

    Thanks so very much... it took a while to delete all of the iCloud account duplicates.  And I had to go through the process a couple of times but it seems to be working much better.  One of the problems was while I was connected to the WiFi it kept trying to process all of the data for all of the accounts.  So I disconnected the WiFi and deleted many that way!  Thanks again!

  • Best way of approving invoices within the SAP system for payment

    Hello Guru,
    In the past, my client used to send invoices from the unmatched report to the appropriate department head for approval.  This approval was recorded in the notes which stayed with the invoice and it would automatically assigned ID and date and time to the note.  There for awhile this process did not work (due to personnel changes and software upgrades) and we would print the invoice have them sign the paper copy.
    Now  my client have the software on all necessary computers, so they want to use the electronic approvals again.  My client can’t send the invoices to the department head as a ‘send reference’ to keep the approval with the invoice.  However, they can send the invoice as ‘send document’ which creates a separate attachment called "note.txt" but I can’t see where it is maintained with the invoice.
    Please advise on the method to be using because my client  would prefer to use the "send reference" they have been using before the upgrades?
    Thank you.

    Hello!
    You can use standard Release for Payment Functionality. This functionality can be configured as part of accounts payable configuration. Main configuration steps are as follows:
    -  create workflow varian for release for payment (OBWA); you can also use standard SAP workflow variants;
    - assign company code to workflow variants;
    - define release approval groups for release of payment (OBWB);
    - define release approval paths for release for payment (OBWC);
    - assign release approval paths for release for payment (OBWD);
    - assign release approval procedure for release for payment (OBWE);
    - define relevant document types for release for payment (OBWQ);
    - define users with authorization for payment release (OBWP);
    - define payment block reasons for payment release (OB27).
    I think these are more or less the main steps. More can be found in the configuration documentation;
    Please also check this guide - Payment Release Process - ERP Financials - SCN Wiki;
    Hope, it will help!
    Best wishes,

  • Unable to open attachments in the CRM transaction

    Hi Experts,
    I am working on a requirement to attach a csv file to a transaction using the class CL_CRM_DOCUMENTS. The file is getting attached to the offer but when i click on the document to open it gives a error saying this "No document display because of missing Customizing for HTTP service '/default_host/sap/bc/contentserver' -> See SAP Note 606745".
    I checked with my functional consultant he says all the customising is done as per instructed in the mentioned SAP note 606745. Need your help in proceeding further.

  • How to find table name for the fields from Standard Extractor in CRM system

    How to find table name of fields from the standard extractor in CRM system ?
    e.g. We use LBWE TCode in R/3 system to find table name for the field from Extractor VCSCL(e.g.).
    Likewise is there any way to find table name for the fields from Standard extractor like 0CRM_LEAD_I.

    Hi ,
    Please find the link below for understanding BW CRM analysis.
    http://help.sap.com/bp_biv135/html/bw.htm
    activate the CRM DSs by scenario:
    1) Activate the application component hierarchy (tcode RSA9). Changes made to the application component hierarchy in the CRM system can be transferred to the BW using the "Edit Application Component Hierarchy" (SBIW - Postprocessing of DataSources).
    SAP Note 434886 must be implemented in CRM 3.0 before the application component hierarchy is activated.
    2) Activate the Business Content DataSources (tcode RSA5).
    Select/enter the application component and choose Execute (F8).
    To compare the shipped and active versions, choose the 'Select Delta' pushbutton. If there is no active version of the DataSource, it is selected automatically.
    To activate the shipped version, choose the 'Transfer DataSources' pushbutton.
    3) Management of the versions of the BW-Adapter metadata (tcode BWA5). All DataSources are displayed that are managed by the BW Adapter.
    As in transaction RSA5 (Service API Metadata Activation), the 'Select Delta' function can be used to select the inactive DataSources or compare shipped and active versions.
    You can also go directly to the screen for maintaining DataSources that are managed by the BW Adapter.
    The 'Compare Version' function makes a detailed comparison of the shipped and active versions.
    All BW-Adapter metadata is considered when versions are compared:
    Header information (Table SMOXHEAD)
    Mapping information (Table SMOXRELP)
    Global selection conditions (Table SMOXGSEL)
    Attribute key fields (Table SMOXAFLD)
    Hope this helps.

  • How to handle the CRM Middleware after system refresh?

    Guys,
    We are using CRM 5.0 & R/3 4.6C. We have the middleware configured and set up. We finished all inital loads & delta loads are activated as well. The system works perfectly.
    Now for some reason the client wants to refresh the R/3 system. (Basically they are copying over the R/3 Dev system to refresh the R/3 Sandbox system. Our connection is currently between the 2 sand box systems) What impact will this have on the CRM system? Will it cause mass delta downloads? I have already referred to notes 588701 & 765018. Any additional information or watch outs will be appreciated.
    Secondly what's the best practice do a refresh in the future? Is there a SAP recomendation on how to go about with system refresh when CRM & R/3 are connected?
    ARP

    Hello ARP,
    as always: It depends what to do:
    a) do you have a CRM DEV System available? If possible you should get the connection working over there and then do a Landscape Copy of the R/3 DEV + CRM DEV to the Sandbox Landscape.
    b) Let them copy the R/3 DEV to the R/3 Sandbox. Then use the Data Integrety Manager (Transaction SDIMA) to get the missing Customers, Transactions exchanged.
    In the future they normally have to do a Landscape Copy.
    Regards
    Gregor
