FiOS location checker can't find my address?

I've tried a few times using the main page as well as a link I found on this forum... Yet still no luck. I just want to check all the deals available and the like to compare to my current cable situation... And considering I'm happy just secretly envious of the faster speeds FiOS could possibly provide, I don't want to call and be pressured @_@
Why wouldn't the locator be able to find my address? I live in Los Angeles, and I know for a fact a few people nearby have verizon...
So help or explanation would be greatly appreciated!

Just because FIOS is available in LA, it doesn't mean its available everywhere. I would be happy to check on the back end if its showing your particular address as being available. I have sent you a private message to get more information.

If you don't see the "shadow man" icon, right click the toolbar and select customize.. drag the icon up to the bar.

I've tried nearly everything and can't seem to find a way to enter my address into Verizon's FIOS locator. I don't live in a rural area and know that Verizon FIOS is available in my neighborhood? What do I do?

Broadband Checker can't find postcode.

Me and my partner are moving house, and I thought I'd check to see what speed of BT broadband would be available at our address if we decided to sign up with BT. So I enter the house number and postcode (I don't know the phone number of our new place yet or what phone provider the place is currently with) and the broadband checker tells me it can't find my postcode. Royal Mail postcode finder can find it, and so can google. But for some reason, BT can't. Any way I can use the broadband checker or be told what broadband speed I'd be able to get with BT?

and click on "CHECK YOUR SPEED" Then "I'M Not With BT" Then enter your House NO; and postcode, it should come up with the services and speeds avaialble.
It certainly did this for me just this second.

6120 c with nokia map, external GPS.
I would like to go to an address, I have no idea where is it. How can I find it?? I mean, Im gone OPTIONS - FIND PLACE - ADDRESS I typed it in and nothing.(btw in australia we have lots of country area, where I just cant know what city or ZIp number I should type in, kinda poor) doesnt find it.so what im missing?? I tried the update, says my map is up to date...

check out those following steps:

I Sync duplicated my Address Book entries. But now with Lion 10.7 I no longer can find the Address Book contacts file to restore in Time Machine.

Sorry, but you're still in the top-level Library folder.
Select the ~/Library folder via Alt/Option key while selecting Go from the menubar:
Then Enter Time Machine.

Believe its under Settings > General > About. If not exactly there you should find it in that area.

Where can I find my address book after Synchronization to outlook

Hi Guys, I finished sync according to the following procedures:
1. Start Button - on your computer there is a large button in the bottom left corner of the screen. Click it.
2. Now you'll see an entry that states "All Programs". Click it.
3. Look for a folder labled "Palm". Click it.
4. Look for an entry labled "PIM Conduit Sync". Click it.
5. Choose "Sync with Outlook". Click it.
HotSync.
The question is that I can't find the contact information document after successful sync whe I start my outlook program. Where can I find it?

I can log into yahoo but when I click mail I get a message saying that firefox can't find my address and asking me to check the spelling. Even plugging in the right address doesn't work though my wife can log into her email just fine.

Ever since removing and updating Adobe Flash Player I suddenly cannot get my Yahoo email page to come up with Mozilla 4.0 or 3.6. I can log into yahoo but when I click on Mail from the welcome page I get an error message saying that it cannot find the email address and asking me to check the spelling. I have tried removing and redownloading 4.0 and 3.6. Same problem. With other browsers--Opera, Chrome, and Safari--I don't have this problem. Please help me solve this problem as Mozilla is my default browser.

Verizon fios can't find my address

I went online to try and see if I could get fios in my condo unit. They first identified my address correctly then gave me a list of all the other units in my building where my unit was no longer a part of the list. How can other units on my same floor be able to get Fios and my unit not be able to get it?

Is it a house or an apartment? I recommend using Google Maps or Mapquest to attempt to find the proper address, as they have better recommendation algorithms. It will try to recommend the address that I think the Post Office officially uses, and then you can use that address in Verizon's system.

Google Maps or iPhone 3G Maps issue?, can't find my address

When I go to Google Maps on a Pc via the internet, it locates my home address without any issue (supplying street, city, state, and zip).
When I do this on my new iPhone 3G in Maps, it comes up saying it couldn't find anything ... So whose issue is this, iPhone's implementation of Google Maps, or Google Maps not giving iPhone/Apple the latest data ? (which brings up a separate question about how complete Maps data is ... hmmm).
Any ideas how I should best report this ?

I don't know how to report this but I experienced the same thing this morning. I plugged in an address to maps.google.com and it found it correctly however in Maps on my 3G it shows it incorrectly. I double checked the address on my iPhone to that searched on the internet and they were the same. I even tried alternate spellings (i.e. Dr., Dr, and Drive) with no luck.
Whats the deal with this?

How can I find MAC address based on the serial number of a missing IpodTouch 4th Gen?

My Ipod touch 4th Generation is lost. If I can find the MAC address, the Univeristy can help locate the device. I have the serial number, is there any way I can find the MAC address based on the serial number? I did not install a third party app on the IPod to help find it and it is not registered on iCloud, but I used it on iCloud. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Did you turn on FindMyiPd is Settings>iCloud and is the iPod connected to wifi? That is all that is needed for for Apple FindMyiPhone

Can't find IP addresses of connected Ethernet devices....

I have an Airport Extreme running 7.6.3 and my Airport Utility is 6.2.
I need to see a list of connected Ethernet devices and their IP addresses and/or MAC addresses. All I can find says to use Manual Setup in Utility, but I cannot find that. Help? I don't know if those instructions were referring to a previous version of Airport Utility or what....

The "Manual Setup" option is a clue that the instructions are for version 5.x of the AirPort Utility. Version 6.x does provide a list of wireless clients with both their IP & MAC Addresses ... but doesn't provide a means to see any wired devices.
