Firefox is sometimes displaying websites without css.

When I try to view pages in Firefox, the css- and javascript-files aren't always loaded after the first page load. This will cause plain text-pages. Sometimes it takes more than 5 reloads before those files have been loaded.
I'm using the latest Firefox at a Mac Snow Leopard laptop.

View | Page Style and make sure "Basic Page Style" is selected.
Also, update Flash. The version you have installed at the moment is out of date. Download from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
If after updating, the problem persists, try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.

It' a known issue, pages displayed in the new ICE fail to load relative resources.CSS, images, scripts.
As an workaround: use paths relative to the site root to link to resources, always starting wth a slash /.
For example:

How can I launch firefox on different displays simultaneously without creating profiles for each of them

On my solaris server, there is an application which, in order to display some information, opens the browser. The server can be accessed thorugh X windows by various users. The issue is that whn firefox is open on one display, it fails to open on another display.
The resolution for this problem as suggested by a lot of users on various forums is to create different profiles for various firefox instances. However, everytime my application will launch firefox, i will have to invoke it with -P option which will pop up the profile manager. I do not wish to show the pop up for creating profiles:(. Is there some way to allow multilple instances of firefox to run on different displays?

Firefox 4 sometimes displays a blank window instead of a PDF with Adobe Reader X

This is with Firefox 4 or 5.
When I try to display a statement from my bank web site, it opens a blank window and nothing else. This is using Adobe Reader X. I reinstalled the Reader X with no difference.
I am running Windows XP Pro, SP3.

I have troubleshooted this issue and have found what I think is a resolution.
The cause of this issue seems to be Profiles.
Previously when running firefox 3 I had multiple profiles setup. when deciding to update to firefox 4 I removed these old profiles.
When installing firefox 4 for some reason it used a "default" named profile, and this caused the problems I described above.
RESOLUTION:
Ran firefox.exe -ProfileManager
created a new profile, it named itself "Default User" I then selected the new default and tested. The window behavior is now acting as it should wothout the above problems.
I deleted the old profile and now it works, using the new profile.

Firefox won't display website properly on my new asus-explorer displays fine

Opening a website, let's say Google, and selecting 'images', gives one screen of photos but scrolling down yields no more photos, just a blank screen. Most websites don't show all the info previously there. Such as stock numbers in the margins. Same websites are fine in Explorer. I don't like Explorer. Laptop is new Asus. Screen resolution is set to 'recommended'. I think it's 1366x768.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

Firefox won't display website buttons

On my Windows 7 64 bit desktop, Firefox displays all link buttons as text only. Most are in a blue box, but some are simply not displayed at all. The button is invisible. This is on Ebay, Google, Scottrade, etc. All other browsers display properly. All other computers display properly.
I have repeatedly uninstalled and deleted the Mozilla folder and re-installed to no avail. All plug ins are up to date.

Firefox does not display websites correctly. Images are missing or out of position.

Too much white space. How do I downgrade back to 3.6.3? I have another computer running that version that displays everything correctly. Text is also placed incorrectly. Even this Mozilla page has no images. Only white space with a fuzzy 'mozilla' in the upper left-hand corner.

The Fonts & Colours option worked wonderfully for me and now my pages are displaying the colour and images I expected to see. So very simple in the end. Is it related to the current upgrad? At least I will not have to trouble with attempting to revert to an earlier version.

Firefox crashes on certain websites without creating a log

When I do this google search: http://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&channel=s&hl=en&source=hp&q=korean+raw+beef&btnG=Google+Search Firefox immediately crashes and tells me that a crash report couldn't be generated. I'm fully updated and I don't think I have any offending plug ins.

Firefox 7.0.1 displays website differently from IE, Chrome, Safari, Firefox 3 and Safe Mode

The website www.littleones.ie displays incorrectly in Firefox 7.0.1.
DIVs are shifted down the page instead of appearing side by side. It is OK in IE, Chrome and Safari, Firefox 3 and in FireFox Safe Mode.
After a few tests I find that I can fix the problem by disabling hardware acceleration in the Options menu.
Disabling Plugins did not fix the problem.
Problem has also be seen on another PC using Firefox 7.0.1.

I'm using an HP laptop with 'HP Support Assistant' which automatically keeps the system up to date. The littleones.ie website belongs to my client. The problem is that visitors to the Little Ones website may be experiencing this problem - which will be affecting the effectiveness of the site. We can't ask visitors to littleones.ie to update their graphics drivers before browsing the site!!
Someone else I have asked to view the site had the same problem so it is not just my PC- I'll get a spec of their system if that would help.
Do you know if a website can ask a browser not to use hardware acceleration?

Since latest update...Firefox will not allow a new page to be opened from a link in a current page. It will allow a new tab to be opened (with tabbed browsing checked) but i prefer a new page. Even in tabbed browsing links to things like a pdf will not work at all.

Why does the new version of Firefox not integrate with Norton 360 Identity Safe. Problem for me because I use Norton 360 Identity Safe to manage my passwords and make it more difficult to use password protected website without that add-in.

You need to switch to the Media tab in "Tools > Page Info" to see the list that I mentioned. 
If you do not get the Media tab then make sure that you load images.
