Fixed Freight/Transportation charges per invoice

Hello all,
Scenario:
We procure sheet metal for our fabrication plant.
The vendor charges a fixed amount of freight per invoice/shipment regardless of the quantity of the items or the number of different items.
Is it possible to have a fixed delivery charge per invoice - not related to the number of items or their quantities.
Thank you.
S Datar

Hi,
the fixed charge per PO is set on the PO header conditions using a condition type that does not depend on the qty involved.
But the normal way for the costs to be managed (both on the PO and in MIRO) is to spread the costs across the lines of the invoice.
You could always consider just posing an extra PO line for these costs?
You can also set the system to use a gl for the unplanned delivery costs in MIRO instead of spreading them across the PO lines. (SPRO - MM > Logistics Invoice Verification > Incoming Invoice > Configure how unplanned delivery costs are processed. Just set the flag to a 2 on the company code you are using and the costs don't get spread anymore, they just get posted as an extra GL line.

  • Fixed freight charge

    Hi all,
Some times my delivery qty may be more than the sales order qty due to tolerance and may be multiple deliveries for single sales order.
I want to give fixed freight charge in sales order, so that the total freight charge for all the invoices should be equal to sales order freight charge.
    Thanks & Regards
    Ratna

    Hi krishna,
Both the links are of same issue, but don't have conclusion.
    Hi lakshmipathi,
Fixed calculation type is not working in my scenario.
Let me put my scenario with an example:
I have SO with 10 qty and freight charge as 1000
I did multiple del's and invoices.
Total invoice's qty is 11 and now the total freight charge is becoming 1100, on the basis of 100 per 1 qty.
But I need the total freight charge should be equal to 1000, irrespective of the qty delivered.
Please provide your inputs on the same.
    Thanks

  • Freight/Other Charges to be included for 100% Downpayment Invoice

    Hi
Currently in SAP 2007 version, where Freight/Other Charges is concerned, the information will not be copied/drawn to Down Payment Invoice. These charges will only be included in the final A/R Invoice.
Even for 100% DownPayment Invoice, the freight/other charges is not copied/drawn.
Does SAP has any maproad that in newer versions, this feature where 100% downpayment is concerned, the Freight/Other charges can be included.
    Thank you
    Regards
    Siew Yuen

    Hi Siew Yuen,
In common sense, downpayment would normally < 100%.  Otherwise, it should be treated as reserved invoice or deposit.
Therefore, I don't think in any near future you could get the function you desired.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Accrue fixed amount per invoice (Rebates)

    Hi all,
I would like to accrue a fixed amount per invoice (always $100). The condition type has been set to 'fixed amount', yet the 'accrual' value in my rebate agreement is always a percentage.
How can I have this fixed?

Point 1 in the note explains the reason for your scenario. If it is not sales volume related, why you need rebate functionality?
The note reads Instead, it may be useful to create no automatic accruals at all (accruals value 0.00 in the condition record) and simply to defer the payment amount manually.
At the end of the year, the accounting user can run a query (from VBRK table) to find number of invoices for the customer, then multiply it with the fixed sum ($100.00), then credit the value to customer account. This is simple process than using rebate functionality.

  • Diffence between Freight & Shipping charges

    Dear sd experts
i know we when ever we want to Add some Transporting charges to customer we can use Freight Condition types KF00
And another process is shipment process FB00-Tk11
in both scenarios we add Transporting charges like 300 tons 50 rs --350 tons 80 rs like this
May i know exact what is difference i mean when we use only Freight and when we use only Shipment process
    Thnaks

    Hi Amith
We use shipment process to have clear distinction of cost and freight occurrence at each leg...For example if your shipment includes involvement of rail, road , air and sea.For each mode you have different vendor and you want to capture cost for each mode as well as you want to charge based on this cost to customer then shipment process will be the best bet but if you want to charge fixed freight charges to a customer then directly determine freight condition KF00 in a sales order.
Usually companies adopt shipment process to analyze and reduce cost involved in shipment by optimizing routes and deliveries of multiple customer. They plan to deliver different orders in one shipment and load orders in a truck based On LIFO..I.e. last in first out principle.
Let us know your thoughts or if you have any doubts.
    Thanks

  • Dispute Case per invoice

    Hi All,
My client is planning to implement Dispute management. I just wanted to know if we can create one dispute case per customer i.e. one dispute case per multiple invoices of a customer or does it have to be one dispute case per invoice.
    Regards,
    Raj/

I am trying to writeoff a dispute case. I ran the program UDM_AUTOWRITEOFF. A background job gets scheduled. But there is no spool generated. When I see the job log this is the error I have.
Field COBL-KOSTL. does not exist in the screen SAPLKACB 0002
Can anyone help me where should I fix this. I know this is the cost element in  the coding block but where should I fix or do the configuration?

  • Adding Packing Charges , Transportation Charges in Item Cost

    Hello Experts,
We are using Moving Average Valuation Method, i just wanted to ask how  to add packing charges , Transportation Charges, Freight charges on Item Cost while posting transaction.
    Regards
    Manish

    Hi Manish......
You have to manage these costings in Landed Cost......
After making GRPO copy the GRPO into landed cost and give the transportation or fright charges there.
It will automatically included into Item Cost.......

  • Freight & Handling charges in IV

    Dear all,
Can we maintain freight, Handling charges and also cash discount during Invoice Verification i.e MIRO. If so, how?
How to capture this for accounting purpose.
    Regards
    Sushil

    Hi Sushil,
Yes you can add any condition during invoice verification in MIRO.
After entering a PO number in MIRO click on PO references tab & scroll right, you will get one icon of Edit own condition.
Click on Edit own condition & add your conditions(freight, Handling charges)
    Hope it will help you.

  • Transport Charger Post Directly to vendors Account through Sales Order

    Dear All,
I have the query of Transportation Charges in Sales Order Post directly to Vendors Account.
I have configured Partner functional of vendor in sales order but how to post the transportation charges to that particular vendor Account ?
    Please give solution for this.
    Rgds
    Pawan Sarda

    Hi,
In SAP you cannot do any postings either to customer or vendor. Customer postings happen only while creating billing documents in VF01.
As far as vendor postings are concerned, The postings happen in MIRO transaction.
The scenario you have mantioned is not possible the way you want it.
But if you use transportation in Logistics execution, then actual freight charges can be posted to vendor account after shipping cost document T.Code: VI01 is posted.
    Hope this helps.

  • Transportation charges

    Hi guys,
We are having one issue required for the client.  Client will send the materials to vendor in their vehicle.  The transportation charges are paid per trip basis.  The material will be sent to vendor on 57f4 challans, for subcontracting orders.  In some cases the material to be supplied by the vendor will be collected by the client in their vehicle.  But these transportation charges are not included in the Purchase Orders.  We want to track the vehicle-wise movements in the system.  How to do this?
    Can anybody suggest on this?

  • Price Block across Invoices (not per invoice)

    Guys
Do you know of a way to implement price block on the PO level? PP price block is per invoice, is there another way i can set it up so that all invoices are looked at for price block not at a per invoice level?
Using PP: I can have many invoices, all can potentially be 200 over without going into block.

    For clarification
Lets assume i have a PO for Qty 10 and price 10000
If i set PP block for 250, it means i can post
    Invoice 1: Qty 1, price 1200
    Invoice 2: Qty 1, price 1200
    Invoice 3: qty 1 , Price 1200 .. and so on
Now if i see none of these invoices go into price block - but  i have exceeded po price by 2000
I want to setup price block such that if sum total of all 10 invoices exceeds 250, it should go into price block.
    Any ideas?
