Flame reset is not working

Since a few days my Flame device is not working properly anymore. Every third time someone is calling me, I do not hear any sound, while people calling me still are able to her my voice. Wanted to reset my device today, but the reset is not starting. When I press the reset button nothing happens, while the cancel button still is working. Is someone having an idea how to deal with this situation?

Just to add some infos - I am using the flame with firefox os 2.0. It is set on the stable update channel...

If you are unable to reset the iPod (assuming the hold switch is not in the On position either), then you'll have to let the iPod's battery fully drain. Then connect it to a charger and leave it to charge for a couple of hours.

It appears that this is due to firmware corruption and you can fix it by using the micro USB cable and hooking it to iTunes. I have not tried it yet but supposedly several people were able to resolve their problem this way. If you do try it, let me know. I don't have the cable at this time.

You need to restore.
Everything should be on your computer, so you can just sync it back.

Pretty strange, but...
Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, does it happen in Safe Mode? Reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

Reset all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. Your iPad will reboot on its own. You will have to enter all of the device settings again, but no data will be lost.
I eould not spend a whole lot more time trying to fix this, if the device is really brand new. I would take it back to where you bought it, bring the box, the charger, the cable and your receipt and if they can't get it fixed, return it and get another one.

HT1212 Reset does not work on disabled Ipod touch. I did the never synced device option on a computer that we have never synced with. Still says try again in 22,462,172 minutes. Itunes says it cannot sync also. Any ideas???

Place the iPod in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Installed latest Firefox update v25.0.1 on WinXP Pro 2002 SP2 and now it does not work. Reset does not work.

The detailed instructions go into firewall config bs. HOW DO I remove Firefox from my program's list of trusted or recognized programs? What does this have to do with Firewalls? Why is this happening in the first place? Can I revert to an earlier version. My Firewall is OFF. These instructions suck.

V.2.0.6 for Mac universal driver (I suggest you set your Safari prefences, General atb, "Save downloaded file to:" desktop, click the save to drop down, id desktop is not ther, click "other" and select Desktop from the left column. This will download to the desktop as a stand alone installer. After yhe download id complete, quit all applications, run the installer following the prompts, after is says done or complete, log out and reboot.

Thank you SO very much for posting this. I had the exact issue with my iPad Mini after the same upgrade. Hard reset failed, computer would not recognize iPad. I had read all the other instructions and nothing worked.... YOUR SOLUTION WORKED FOR ME - with a slight variation.
I followed your lead and connected my iPad Mini to another computer, fired up iTunes, it saw the iPad Mini in Restore Mode and allowed me to go into Restore (yes, it wiped all of the data but I have a back up on the other computer that would not see it after the failed update). It installed the latest iOS 7.1.2 as well. I then disconnected it from that computer, reconnected it to the computer that would not see it prior and it then saw it as a new iPad and allowed me to Restore my backup and now it's all good!
I detailed my steps only because you downloaded the previous version - 7.1.1 whereas I downloaded the latest version (7.1.2) and then restored my back up.

I got it to work by enabling cookies in safari settings and turning off private browsing. Cookies are probably the key thing here. Accept button will appear at bottom right of first screen of agreement.

The Bookmarks Toolbar, by default, shows both icons and text. Here is an Add-on that will allow you to show only the icons.

Camera's automatic focus function stopped working. Factory reset did not work. (Yes the three dots were pressed). What should I do?

I enjoyed taking pictures with one touch of the screen but now the camera does not focus no matter what I do. I did try to take it without the camera sub-menus by pushing the button with three dots and without. The focus simply does not work!
What should I do?
I contacted LG support and they told me the whole thing might take 1-2weeks. That seems too long for me to live without a phone. Any suggestions?

Keychain reset does not work

Can't reset my keychain. Just upgraded to Mavericks, had to restart for an iTunes update and everything went downhill from there.
dozens of applications ask for access to 'local items', my user password doesn't work and i tried a few other passwords that it might have been, but i know i used my user password before installing mavericks, but that's not working.
Went online to try to find answers, got pointed to the 'reset my default keychain', clicked it and the program asked for the password for 'local items' keychain, tried my user password again, didn't work. The 'Login' keychain is now gone completely, it disappeared. Clicking 'reset my default keychain' brings the popup 'specified keychain could not be found', so that won't work anymore.
Looked for some more answers, one pointed to deleting the keychain entirely, which i tried but the option to delete 'local items' is greyed out.
Attempted keychain first aid, it asks for a password to access 'local items'. after trying my user password again, it didn't work. now the first aid displays an error message every time i attempt a repair. here's the text from my latest attempt:

after that, i restarted my computer, when i put my username to login to my account, i got asked to provide the keychain password for 'local items'. This happened while i was logging in and the computer refused to log into the account until i pressed the 'cancel' button.
Nothing is working, what do i do?
As a side note, i either want to unlock the 'local items' keychain or i want to stop messages from popping up, which i attempted and again hit the 'local items' password wall. I also can't check 'allow user to reset password using Apple ID' because the option is greyed out even after unlocking it to change items.

Your login.keychain password is out of sync with the new iCloud keychain and needs to be re-sync'd.
The new iCloud keychain is either called "Local items" if you don't have syncing enabled or "iCloud" if you enabled iCloud keychain sync.
Open 'Keychain Access' Application
Select the 'login' keychain from the keychains list
Click the lock at the top to lock the login keychain
Click the lock again to unlock the login keychain
After entering your login keychain password you should be presented with a dialog:
Clicking the reset button will re-sync your login.keychain password with the iCloud keychain password.
If everything from the above fails for whatever reason the last resort you can do the following:
Open terminal
cd ~/Library/Keychains
ls
When you 'ls' here you will see a folder that contains a bunch of random number liks so:
94ED610F-DD96-4ECF-A2BC-7D2F8651A464 (this number is unique on each system)
rm -rf 94ED610F-DD96-4ECF-A2BC-7D2F8651A464
Reboot
<when you log back in everything should be back to normal>

walked home today, slight rain, headphones in. did it a thousand times no problems. half an hour after getting home i check my phone and it doesnt turn on. liquid contact indicators are untouched, hard reset will not turn the phone on. in addition plugging my phone in has no effect.
is there a fix for this? does anyone know what i can do.

i just experienced an odd problem. Last night, i turned OFF my iphone before going to sleep (as i do every night, and i would turn it back on when i wake up). This morning, i tried turning on my iphone and nothing happened! i tried charging it (using several different chargers btw) and it wouldnt turn on at all.
But after looking at this forum, i did a hard reset and it was finally able to turn on again.
Does anyone know what this problem might be? Even though i got it working already, i'd like to know what might be the cause of it so i can avoid this issue in the future.
